shitty headcanons for my fav vampire bcs i haven’t updated my fic 😍

Around you: Now I don't think he would necessarily be shy, but more afraid to embarrass himself around you. He’d check himself more than usual, making sure his face wasn’t bright red whenever you held onto him tightly around his brothers, or make sure he didn’t stutter when your eyes looked more doe than usual.

Belly: He probably eats a lot, like a real teenage boy. He doesn’t have a favorite food so he just eats whatever he finds in the kitchen, and that includes lots of snacking since he doesn’t feel the need to make a meal that would actually fill him. He’d rather just wait til some food pops up to eat it.

Clothes: His wardrobe consists mainly of black, white or some other dark color. I like to think he wears one of those compression shirts to bed or under his jackets. He definitely keeps old clothes too because he thinks it ‘matches his vibe’. Due to his strength, if he was late for school one day, he probably tore a hole in his shirt from pulling it violently over his head in a hurry.

Dating: I dont think it’s him that has much trouble snagging a girl— definitely not. It’s what he does AFTER snagging a girl that confuses him, because, what now? He’s awkward because of his self destructive self image so all he can really think about is, “Will she really stay with me?” Or “When will this be over?” But I don’t think he’s much of a dater, more like hoping to just pop up on the ‘one’ some day (Which seems inevitable because he never leaves his coffin).

Excess: It’s a good thing he’s an albino because this man probably grows so much hair, like peach fuzz all along his body. His character design obviously shows he’s an albino but his eyebrows probably have a thin shape made up of long hairs he doesn’t care to pluck because they don’t really show. He also has a long full head of hair that in the art shows red undertones.

Eye contact (Bonus): Since he’s an albino, his eyes twitch and that leaves more reason for him not being able to hold eye contact. He subconsciously looks away and focuses on inanimate objects rather than the person directly in front him.

Fangs: This man was blessed with a strong pair of fangs. They show the most out of the other brothers when he speaks or eats. He wouldn’t so much as take pride in this but focuses on why having such sharp canines is much more of a nuisance to him, like accidentally biting his cheek while chewing.

Grooming: He doesn’t smell bad, everyone has their own scent and his is strong with musk and soap. Probably uses a bar of soap for his body and face, then follows up with whatever shampoo appeared in his shower that day. Whenever he brushes his hair with no care whatsoever, he just brushes til he can’t feel a tug on his hair from the brissels. Doesn’t matter if he brushed it out of place, it’ll fall back later.

Health: I guess in the long run this doesn’t matter since he’s a vampire, but he probably has some unhealthy habits. He definitely smokes or has smoked cigarettes. His relationship with drugs is inconclusive. But I like to think that his relationship with Kou has something to do with Kou’s potential past addiction(?) They probably bonded over that.

Intelligence: Being alive for years means something has stuck to him. He’s more street smart than book smart though, he doesn’t really pay attention in school (RIP Subaru you would’ve loved chat gpt). He forgets how to find the circumference of a circle but knows how to kill someone in one swift motion(?)

Jaded: Subaru’s probably tired of the whole madonna or mistress dynamic. Why can’t he have both? He wouldn’t necessarily want someone to dominate him but more so have someone who can keep up with him, less work for him you know? He already has a bad relationship with the idea of a woman on his side. Why does he have to choose between a woman to accompany him in his dreams (Madonna) or a woman who helps him fulfill his desires(Mistress)?

Kinks: Definitely into some sort of knife play, choking or really anything that exerts his dominance over you.

Laugh: He doesn’t really laugh but when he does it’s mostly a scoff or a chuckle. Maybe if something really is funny to him he might laugh for more than a second but that’s really it. His laugh isn’t loud but it’s more like really low and deep so it comes out louder than he wants it too so he’ll get embarrassed.

Mature: Subaru’s definitely one of the more mature brothers. Dealing with his mother’s mental illness and instability at a young age really rocked him, he grew up way too fast. This is genuinely the reason as to why he doesn’t like children or doesn’t like to associate himself with them. He truly believes he’ll ‘ruin’ them and ruin their childhood like he had his ruined.

Nature: He loves it. He doesn’t admit it though because he tries to be hard. (These are misogynistic vampires after all..) In anger he likes to rip and tear petals off flowers but feels bad after, just another thing to add onto his list of things he’s corrupted. He takes care of the rose garden in his free time.

Open-minded: Considering his personality (Edgy, angsty, rule breaker) I think he’s in the middle. He’s definitely more open then Reiji, Carla and other more superior brothers, but he’s not as open as Laito. Maybe to societal norms he’s more open but to sexual topics he’s closed and private about.

Personality: He’s rude, like, really rude. How he acts with you depends on your relationship though: If you’re more well acquainted (in terms of Subaru acquainted) he’s probably rude and likes to insult you through jokes, but if you’re more romantically involved it’s less subtle (He’s still throwing insults, just at a less) He’s probably really funny without meaning to be. More so if he says something and his brothers turn it into a whole different embarrassing topic making him turn red and everyone laughing at him. He’s of course, the definition of ultraviolence, and probably wants to get into being a gym rat but isn’t that motivated.

Quirks: Has so many. He likes to cover his left eye with his hair, but brushes it out of his face over and over again. His pale hands that are bruised and beaten make him stand out also, he likes to pick at his nails too. When he’s in a bad mood, his legs bounce annoyingly, making his boots click repeatedly. When a shirt is a little too tight, he stretches it out but rips it in the process (He’ll still wear it.)

Romantic: Well he’s not materialistic.. he doesn’t lay rose petals everywhere, open a bottle of champagne while sharing a five-star hotel with you. He’s more likely to stay in and just spend time with you one to one. He definitely tries to be more affectionate at times but it just seems awkward to him.

Smells: Probably doesn’t enjoy super sugary smells like vanilla or caramel. He likes to smell lightweight floral or mature scents on a woman, sweet smells don’t taste good on your skin. For a man, he likes to smell very strong cologne, it’s just satisfying to him for some reason.

Touch: Is a hugger. He loves hugging you from the back and wrapping his arms around your shoulders. Also is a kisser(?) He’s always kissing you DEEPLY. It’s a shocker lol, but he definitely enjoys some sort of connection with you.

Unique: His appearance, overall that’s pretty much what everyone notices at first. Considering his mom was a ‘white rose’, his way of standing out from the other brothers is his soft color palette clashing with dark fabrics that are ripped. I really do believe his eyes are the next thing that are unique because of how much they tremble.

Vocal: Maybe, in the chance you get him to open up to you, he would talk for hours. He would talk about what he thinks about his life, his brothers and why he feels the way about himself. He would speak about his mother in a soft delicate manner but go bitter right after and go quiet.

Water: He didn’t have exactly the best time in the pacific ocean after destroying that statue, so it’s a no. He’s obviously very clean but prefers quick showers and doesn’t like waiting for the bath to fill up with water.

Xanax: He def needs a xanny.

Yucks: He doesn’t like seafood, (although he would eat ayato’s takoyakis in the blink of an eye) Doesn’t like school, at all. Doesn’t like hyper pop music, or just like pop in general. Likes shoes that are easy to slip on, his boots are molded to his feet. So church shoes that require you to wear nice socks and tie them are a no for him.

Zzz: He loves to sleep, he genuinely enjoys sleeping in his tight coffin every night. He goes to sleep late on school days so he can easily sleep through lectures and such, but loves going to sleep early on weekends so he can rest for a couple more hours.

a couple months ago, i realized i never watched ridonculous race so i binged watched it and i love it, so i decided to make a whole au for my two favs from roti to be in it bc severe autism doesnt rest /lh

some changes are that they have replaced the daters and i changed up their designs! i gave lightning a more laid back sporty look to show he’s not working as hard to be on top all of the time anymore and i gave brick a “fashionable yet practical” look bc he’s working on going to fashion school and he deserves it.

most of their dynamic is basically a bromance (or more, whose to say) but with conflict at the beginning as Lightning is still learning to work with others and Brick is having trouble getting him to understand that they are a team and have to do certain challenges a certain way. and it develops from there (they do get eliminated ep 23 like the daters but hey, they had fun)

was this an elaborate way to ship these two? maybe, mayhaps it was.

The Namari + Toshiro duo is great because not only does it take out both of their silly sides, they work really really well together, and a common gag in the manga is that they're often on the same wavelength,

That is, they're often thinking the same thing; They have a couple scenes where Toshiro will say something and Namari will know immediately what he means before he's even finished, they share looks all the time and you can tell there's some sort of communication happening.

I'm inclined to believe that its partly bcs of their personalities. Namari is very sociable and gregarious, obviously very very good at teamwork; Toshiro's observant and empathetic, he tries to figure out the dynamic of whichever group he's in so he can insert himself in it with minimal friction.

But I also want to believe that, man, they just have chemistry. They've got that je ne sais quoi that lets them be so, and sorry to be cringe, so besties with each other lol.

Could very well be that they're each other's (platonic) types! Toshiro does have a couple of extroverted, strongwilled female figures in his life (Hien, Maizuru, Tade to a lesser extent although they both seem to have a good opinion of each other) while Namari ends up befriending Kiki and Kaka very quickly, who are funnily similar to Toshiro. Or, could be that, PLUS just. Honest to god chemistry. Meeting someone unlike yourself but with whom you vibe very easily, you're guessing their thoughts, you coordinate with a look, etc.

Where I'm going with this is, would that type of chemistry be in part a result of their developmental stage? And, will it be lost as Toshiro's aging surpasses Namari?

I mean, that's a common issue, isn't it? It's explored through Marcille's trauma, Otta "serial dater of half-foot women extraordinaire" recognises that they're more mature than long-lived ages give them credit for, but things eventually fall apart and a common reading why is that they out-mature Otta, etc.

I guess I've kind of been thinking o(-< Namari looks like she's in her 20s to us. Toshiro is 26. They've been working together for four years, so I guess they could maintain their dynamic a couple more years? At least until Toshiro has to make a Big Adult Decision, which at the latest will probably happen once he turns 30.

I LOVE the idea that maybe Toshiro will be 70 and whenever he meets Namari they're still being the best cooperative duo you've ever seen, reactions to nonesense in-sync etc. Very fun, right?

But I also look at the other possibility, from Namari's perspective too. Toshiro goes back to Wa and that's already a big change in their dynamic. They won't have the same environment anymore, the same influences, let alone a way to react to anything similarly.

It must be a particularly wistful feeling for long-lived races to have a memory of when you knew someone and they were so... like you. And then time passes, barely for you, but to you it feels like they're changing so fast. And I'm sure Toshiro will always be friendly with Namari, but wouldn't it be weird? For something, anything at all to happen, and for them to exchange a look a realise that they are not sure if they're on the same page anymore.

I kind of like to think about this from Namari's perspective (because she's my favourite girl) because she seems to have such a developed understanding of other race's maturity. She's probably the least condescending dwarf we see, as in, sure she's bad at guessing the age of other races, but she doesn't seem to assume maturity/immaturity solely on the fact that they have different lifespans.

Something about already being at that point of acceptance, or perhaps of understanding of reality makes her POV that little bit more blue. She already knew that was likely going to happen. Still kind of sucks to see it happen, right?

ridonculous race was actually SUCH a cool season, the concept and execution BOTH were beautiful. emma and kitty were top tier every time they were on screen, seeing a different side of noah was (hot take) really sweet and funny, josee and jacques (apologies if i spelt their names wrong) were annoying at first but theyve HEAVILY grown on me, the darrie (devin x carrie) arc was adorable, theres a reason carrie is one letter off from carried, the fashion bloggers were 10/10, junior and his dad were so silly, the goths are the healthiest relationship in tdi (although rajbow is right on their tail), the cadets were a good contrast for each other (fun fact: their dynamic is called a character foil, where one character is the exact opposite from another. ok nerd time over), and dare i say it, the daters/haters were actually pretty entertaining most of the time.

i loved the entire cast honestly, even tammy and leonard had their fun moments looking back on it. the worst thing about this season was that there was no second season -beanie anon

sorry for taking nearly an entire YEAR to answer this lmfao.. i find it very difficult to make hc's for characters that don't really have much myth!! but anyways. this is what i've scrounged up, hope it's okay, and sorry for the wait once again!

there's not that many hcs out there, so please check out my aztec hc's here :)) they're a bit longer i think.

now. i don't believe that the aztec pantheon follows the same sort of monarchy-hierarchy structure that other myths sometimes have,, like, for example, Zeus in Greek mythology is sorta the king of everybody and if you don't do what he says, you'll face the consequences.

in the Aztec myths, there's the Four Tezcatlipocas and, as far as i understand, they're the closest thing there is to like.. a "ruling" body. Quetzalcoatl, Tezcatlipoca, Huitzilopochtli, and Xipe Totec are the Four Sons of Heaven; they made the world, they rule each of its corners (flat earth era!!!!!!!!!!)

um.. but something i find very fascinating about this group is that they're not strictly related to each other. i mean, in some myth recordings, they're all brothers, but in others, they come from different parents. and i really like the versions that give them different origins. it suggests that they earned their title as a Son of Heaven by merit and not by birthright.

so, with Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca, them being the most well known gods and i think the ones with the biggest roles, i think they're the Duo that really take charge of ruling. of course, Huitzilopochtli and Xipe Totec are also leaders, but Quetz and Tez have the biggest roles.

with Quetz, he has a lot of different origin stories-- sometimes born of a virgin, sometimes because someone swallowed a green stone, in one myth it's the exact same thing as Huitzilopochtli right down to Coatlicue being his mum.

similarly, Tez's parents are vague unless ur accepting the one where he, Quetz, Huitz and Xipe are brothers by blood, sharing the same creator parents.

i personally hc that they are soooo old and ancient, that no one really knows where they came from. they just kinda always were there. and Quetz and Tez may know exactly how they came to exist, but they both like being mysterious and enigmatic, so they just fuel the rumours rather than giving any concrete answer.

their dynamic is a lot like the way i think of Ra and Apep.

EXCEPT, where Apep IS evil and Ra IS goodness, Quetz and Tez are NOT good and bad... they're just opposites.

if Quetz wants to protect mankind, Tez wants to destroy them. if Quetz remains unwed, Tez is a serial dater to the point that he's flirting with other people's wives. if Tez is going to be the Sun, Quetz is going to strike him down. they contrast each other.

this would make it seem like they hate each other and don't get along, but it's actually kinda the opposite. i think they keep each other in check.

now,, most interestingly, in the Aztec creation myth, Quetz and Tez work TOGETHER to destroy Cipactli, the big scary primordial crocodile who prevents the world from being made.

Tez giving his foot up as bait speaks volumes to me about his bravery and ability to be selfless when the chips are down. so i think, if Tez didn't have this factor, then he and Quetz would 100% be straight enemies, fighting all the time.

another thing i wanted to say is that, Quetzalcoatl doesn't have a wife or is listed as having children, and while Tezcatlipoca has a lot of lovers (but not really any one particular wife), i can't recall him actually having children. i think the absence of "biologically"-created children for both Quetz and Tez emphasises my initial point of them being like... each other's balance, their other-half. i don't mean that in a romantic way, i mean like a ying-yang way.

they really have great respect for each other even if they don't always see eye-to-eye.

2) Will they have any children? What are their names?

yes! coincidentally i was just working on a drawing based on this!! growing up, claire’s dynamics with her parents were a bit dysfunctional, so deep down she always dreamt of having her own little family one day. she ends up having two lovely girls with hunt: grace (the older one, born in 12/01) and sofia (born in 24/11). i haven’t decided when they’re born in yet, but they’re born ~three years apart from each other!

8) Greatest strength and greatest flaw about your OC?

claire’s greatest strength and her greatest flaw are probably the same trait: her confidence. she has always prided herself in her abilities and, growing up, she didn’t have many issues with her self-esteem (well, consciously. there’s unaddressed stuff there). in most situations, claire can handle herself well and that makes her into an expressive, self-assured person. she knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to go after it. claire’s very focused and has her objectives very clear in her mind, which makes it much easier for her to conquer them. she’s a thrill-seeker, she’s always on the go. the world feels very small to her at times, but she knows exactly what is her place in it. she speaks her mind, and she speaks up for her friends when they’re not comfortable enough to do it. speaking of, claire’s confidence rubs on her friends and they feel more motivated just by having her around. i think claire is that one person you feel happy/special just to have had a conversation with them. the way she speaks about whatever topic with so much certainty but also in a very carefree, easy-going way just makes you trust her. it’s like she’s hyper aware of herself at all times, and at the same time she doesn’t realise she leaves a very strong impression on people. does it make sense?

but claire’s confidence is her greatest flaw, too. it often makes her unaware of her shortcomings and failures as an artist, a friend, a partner and a person. claire can come as (and is) very arrogant at times, especially when she’s decided someone’s opinions don’t matter and/or are “wrong”; when she interprets a situation as slightly critical of her in a way she doesn’t agree with (and god knows what that looks like), she can get really defensive. her confidence makes her very stubborn. she’s always sure she knows what’s best, she doesn’t take no for an answer. she feels very spoiled, too. claire’s confidence can make her selfish: it’s not for nothing she’s a serial dater, and it’s also not without reason she’s had very few close friends throughout her entire life, as charming as she might be. like i said, she takes what she wants, and what she deems herself worth of. and often she takes more than what she gives. claire likes being the centre of attention, and she often is, but she also wants the spotlight to only herself. primadonna behaviour. she’s overly confident of what she says, and sometimes she just speaks nonsense. she’s very blunt, which can be cute but it’s unbearable when it has an air of self-importance. and more often than not her nonchalance can sound a little demeaning.

16) Does your OC enjoy school or no? Did they get any education?

claire has always liked school. she’s always worked really hard for her grades, juggling between classes, extracurricular activities and her acting career even as a child. she has always had an interest for science (she actually really liked chemistry) and she was one of the five proud members of her middle school science club. in high school, claire was (mostly) a straight A student. she often did projects with her childhood best friend sebastian and, together, they were part of the av club. she was in theatre and cheerleading too, and she liked practicing with the school’s volleyball team, even if she didn’t compete with them. claire really liked the school atmosphere, of being in a place with other people and sharing an important moment of her life with them, growing up with them. her school was a very welcoming place too, so it was easy to like it.

claire’s first degree is in biology. she was forced by her father to pick a “real career” so she chose to do something she was at least interested in. plus, something in her really wanted to impress him, so she thought if she followed in his footsteps (by going to med school in the future) he’d finally acknowledge her and be proud of her. didn’t work. but claire did enjoy majoring in biology and she was really interested in pursuing a masters in entomology. and of course, she loved majoring in performing arts (her true dream major)!!

21) Any embarrassing secrets your OC demands you take to the grave but you will share anyway?

i don’t think claire has any embarrassing secrets (or at least ones she doesn’t tell people herself :crying:)(and besides the whole uh. psychosexual stuff she has going on) BUT claire was the one who caugh her father cheating. like, on the act. and he bribed her into silence. it’s embarrassing for her for obvious reasons but also because she feels a deep amount of shame for being manipulated by him and a lot of guilt for keeping it from her mother.

Life had always been fairly average, where Leonella was concerned. She'd never wanted for anything growing up, except perhaps the acceptance of her absent father, but alas, as far as her mother and elder sister went, it was the three of them against the world. As it would remain until present day. 'Cause whilst her mother initially fell head over heels for Leonella's father, it unfortunately would be fleeting and ultimately disappointing, which summed up the man in a nutshell. And, perhaps that's why the young woman has little patience for men coming in and out of her life? Except perhaps the exception of her pending step father, who seems to have emerged out of the woodwork once more, with his biological connection to her sister, helping solidify their shift in family dynamic. Whilst being involved in the wedding is something that brings them together, she can't help but wonder why she was not allowed such pleasantries with her own father, a small amount of disconnect in who she is and whom she came from, without the details of what the man who helped bring her into the world is actually like.

However, whilst there was a part of Leonella that longed for a paternal connection that was lacking in her life, it wasn't enough to dislodge her life. It continued on, with strength and perseverance, especially with her sister's passion for life and big dreams of becoming a model, only inspiring her further. Granted, she wasn't quite into the idea of being the centre of attention in that way, she did somehow navigate her talents into a similar creative field, that of music. There was nothing that she connected with more, whether that be playing the piano, strumming her guitar, or belting out a ballad she'd written over the course of the weeks before. Unfortunately, it wasn't something she shared with the world easily, and growing up, it was definitely more refined and honed in the shower and confines of her bedroom, but alas, her confidence would continue to grow well into her teenage years, ultimately playing at local spots during her high school years, where she could.

College wasn't something that Leonella strove for, and instead focused her attention on music, and the band she'd secured over the years, trusted and just as passionate as she was about the future. There was a time where they had been signed for a small indie label, but unfortunately, following some unappreciated advances towards her from their contact, she ultimately decided she was going to do this alone. There was no way she was going to be 'that girl', sleeping her way to the top for a chance at performing for a living. So, instead, she continues to play in her spare time, and as a hobby, but the way she makes a living is far less glamorous. The brunette responsible for filling drinks, and ensuring there's ice at the ready at the local club, TRIC. The upside? She and her band do get to perform from time to time, given their extensive open mic nights, and scheduled live performances. Thankfully, it seems as though the owner is as enamoured by the music industry as she is.

Not only was performing something that brought fulfilment to her life, the addition of her niece was top of that list. Weirdly, Leonella never thought she would be someone to have children or embrace all that they brought, but alas, here she was, completely in love with a small child her sister brought into this world. Though having her own is still very heavily in question, being an aunt definitely satiates any potential in the meantime. Not that she was much of a dater these days, between rehearsals, shift work, family in general and managing her mothers engagement to her sisters father, it leaves little time for the dating pool and all it's bullshit. So, life continues on.

Leonella is a native to Wilmington, growing up there with her mother and sister Cami, and now niece. Whilst she may only be half siblings with her sister, it definitely doesn't show, their little three musketeers attitude had always been very deeply intact. Even whilst a part of Leonella was questioning the abandonment of her father, and what that meant for her. Particularly when Cami was graced with her parents re-evaluating their relationship, who are now engaged, the girls fully involved with wedding prep as we speak. Alas, overall the young woman is thrilled with the turn of events, particularly for her mother who seems to be getting her 'happily ever after'. Aside from this going on at present, she's also a barmaid at TRIC, which comes with the perks of being able to perform with her band, considering her deep rooted passion and talent for music. Both with instruments, like piano and acoustic guitar, but also singing, something that she used to keep hush hush behind closed doors until more recent years. She'd tried getting involved with a label once, but unfortunately, her experience wasn't enviable. Negotiations including that of a sexual element that she of course wasn't interested in, now deciding to pursue this herself, paying to produce any songs or albums in the future alone.

The larpers (Leonard and Tammy)- crazy annoying, good choice to eliminate them first bc I don’t think I could’ve dealt with them for more than one episode

Father and son (Dwayne and junior)- idk why people like them sm bc I actually hated them sm. Junior made me physically cringe every time he was on screen and Dwayne is just…I hate him

Tennis rivals (Pete and Gerry)- idk they just didn’t get much screen time and we’re kinda annoying

Geniuses (Ellody and Mary)- again, just didn’t get enough screen time for me to actually form an opinion

Adversity twins (jay and Mickey)- idk how to feel abt them

Sisters (Emma and kitty)- I loved them sm, Kitty was so much fun and I love Emma no matter how much hate she gets. Loved their dynamic with Owen and Noah, plus nemma was rlly cute

I’m happy for them too if it’s real and I’m so sorry about my last comment but I’m more talking about saying their also a “cove fucker” (I think that’s the same person, not sure tho if not I’m sorry) like it’s one thing to have girl talk and send TikTok’s about a fake person it just rubs me the wrong way when they’re throwing in their real boyfriend (cove dater if you see this i mean no harm really just a lil jelly but no real harm)

mm i suppose i can see it, especially if you don't think about it in depth too much, but i think that the comment was more in reference of *this post i made abt cove having a higher libido and how their "dynamics" are similar in that way as well, and that if we took my post as reference, and by extension a reference of cove's character/characteristics, then her boyfriend is the same as him in that way too.

i'd really just say it's a lack of better words. or if i may, just another way of saying something and thus the readers comprehension of it. it's really all about how you comprehend oomf's message, and the post, and how they are/may be referencing it all together.
