Ok theory about the kidnapped children

So we know due to Lauren's findings and evidence that dylan was probably kidnapped during the ATST but why? Why would they want him? The son of a gardener. I believe that he, much like Kieran, was/is colleteral damage. So I think the kid they were trying to kidnap during the bombing was Lauren, she is the daughter of two of the surviving members of the snapdragon and the founding pillars of PS, who probably were at odds with the more violent approach of the Scythe, so she was a target to blackmail them or to keep them quiet. There's two possibilities 1 the PS memebers were in a hurry because of the bomb and because of Lauren's ankle and dtaying nowhere near the train station they couldn't find her so they took whatever kid or 2 Sandman probably knew and got the wrong kid on purpose to save Lauren. That's it.

(also the car that almost crashed into lauren and dylan is probably Sandman's)
