Musical Utena ~ Blooming Rose of Deepest Black EVERYTHING

Oh, hey! Did you like what I did with the 2018 Musical Utena ~ Bud of the White Rose? With the posting a script, lyrics to the main banger, and links to download the everything I ever did about it?
I'm back to bring you all that tasty kibble, but for the sequel that followed the next year!
Musical Utena ~ Blooming Rose of Deepest Black EVERYTHING
You've asked, like, a lot a lot, and finally I answer! You want the script? You want some goofy memes and meta? You want to download (check the thread!) both the original crunchy streams on top of the Blu-ray, but also the soundtrack I made? Wanna read the translated program? The interview with Ikuhara and Yoshitani? Wanna see all the bromides? Yep, like last time I even collected the Twitter behind the scenes images.
Once again a massive undertaking both originally and in pulling together the script, which again, I did live on the subtitles, so I never actually made a script I could just copy and paste to show y'all! Well! Here it is!
Also, yes, I know you wanna see the banger's lyrics:
Two Worlds a Mirror Apart 鏡分ケる二つノ世界 Kagami Wakeru Futatsu no Sekai

Little Lupin {Blurb}
James Potter x Lupin!Reader
Part 2 - Part 3
AN: I wrote this on my lunch break, so it's not proof read. Just needed it out of my head RIP.
WC: 1313
“Mate! We are bloody brilliant!” Sirius bellowed out, getting applause from a few of the other red-robes. “Mate! Mate?”
Sirius’s shouts slowly lowered and he looked at James curiously, who was simply staring across the grand hall with heart eyes.
The clatter and hum of students and professors fell on his deaf ears. News of one of the Marauders' newest pranks on Slytherin had sent the hall into a frenzy of giggles and explosive laughter. Watching as the poor Slytherin tried to hide their red hair, the Gryffindors were practically doubled over. Sirius brandishing their win socially while James remained in his own little world.
Eyes on {Y/N} Lupin, who stuck out like a sore thumb. You looked around at your fellow green-robed seatmates and made a playful jab at Dorcas, who then threw a bun at you. Ignoring the glares from Snape and Avery, who were even more pissed that you didn't fall victim to your brother’s trick, you always managed to find some humor in the situation.
Even Regulus Black had his hair dyed; not that he didn't use a potion to change it back instantly. His usual icy demeanor was barely ruffled, but he shot a glance towards you, a mix of curiosity and annoyance. It was no secret that being related to Remus Lupin put {Y/N} in a peculiar position within Slytherin House. Unlike Regulus, she refused to delve deeper than necessary into mediocrity.
"Honestly, you'd think they'd come up with something more original.” You quipped, your eyes twinkling with mischief as you deftly dodged another flying bun.
Dorcas laughed, "Maybe next time they'll get you too, Lupin."
Your shouts across the hall faded further out as Sirius hit James on the shoulder.
“James!” He laughed and James shot up with a loopy smile, glasses sloppy on his face.
“What?” He cheeked, sticking his tongue to his cheek and stealing a glance at you again.
“Oh dude, don't tell me.” Sirius smirked.
James's cheeks flushed slightly as he tried to play it cool, pushing his glasses up to sit properly on his nose. "What are you on about, Pads?" He smirked, a hint of defensiveness in his voice.
Sirius waggled his eyebrows suggestively. "You're gone, mate. Absolutely smitten with {Y/N}, aren't you?"
James's eyes widened, and he quickly looked around to make sure no one was listening in on their conversation. Wrapping his arm around Sirius and yanking him down so they were closer to the table. "Keep your voice down!" He scolded, though his tone was more embarrassed than angry. "It's not like that."
Sirius grinned, like he had just learned the secret of a lifetime. James knew he was screwed. "Sure, sure. You’ve been staring at her for the past ten minutes like she's the Snitch and you’re about to win the Quidditch Cup.”
James opened his mouth to retort, but the words died on his lips as he caught another glimpse of you, laughing and shoving Evan Rosier’s shoulder was he inspected your hair playfully. He couldn't help the small smile that tugged on his lips at your smile, he couldn't even bring himself to be jealous, he'd play with your hair too if you'd let him.
James glanced back at Sirius when he realized he had zoned out again, looking like a guilty puppy as he smiled up at him, talking far louder then he intended to. “You know, Remus’s sister.. she's fit, yeah?”
As if Merlin was having a laugh at their expense, two large hands grabbed their shoulders. Remus peaked his head between them with a chillingly sweet smile, tooth and all.
“I'll cut your eyes out, James.”
James's face went a shade paler as he felt Remus's grip tighten on his shoulders. He gulped audibly, trying to muster a nervous laugh, but it came out as more of a squeak.
"Moony! I-I didn't see you there," James stammered, his eyes wide with a bright nervous smile, trying to play it off.
Remus's smile didn't falter, but his eyes were steely. "Oh, I bet you didn't.” He said, his voice calm but hiding a threat. "Now, what was that about my sister being 'fit'?"
Sirius, deciding to abuse his power as boyfriend, leaned forward to smirk at Remus. “She is though, yeah? It's the Lupin genes. Glad I got mine when I did.”
Remus glared down at Sirius with a scandalized look.
"Sirius.” Remus practically growled through gritted teeth, "I can deal with you later. Right now, I'm more concerned about our dear James."
James looked pleadingly at Sirius, silently begging him to stop making the situation worse. Sirius, however, was having far too much fun to let it go.
"Oh I bet you will.” He smirked and looked Remus up and down before leaning back into his hand. “Come on, Moony.” Sirius chuckled with a playful grin. "It's not like Prongs is planning on asking her out. He's just… appropriating her beauty.”
“Sirius-” James hissed before they were all interrupted.
You had walked up, with a playful glare and a bright smile. “You boys are ridiculous. When I let you into the Slytherin commons I thought it would just be a handful of us. Everyone? You dyed everyone's hair? You laughed in disbelief.
Sirius smirked, crossing his arms. “No clue what you're on about, bird. Do you, Remus?”
“Not a clue.” Remus hummed, playing along with Sirius's game of plausible deniability. Still glaring at James.
“Do you, James?” Sirius then looked down at James who was giving that same love sick look, a million miles away. James snapped back to reality, his eyes widening as he realized you were standing right there. He stammered for a moment, the color returning to his face tenfold. “Uhm- nope,” His voice cracked and he looked like he wanted to die. Looking down at his plate absolutely ready to jump into the black lake.
You couldn't help but laugh at the sight of James looking so disjointed. "It's alright, James. Next time, maybe don't make me guilty by lack of evidence?” You laughed, gesturing to your hair with a teasing wink, though you had no idea just how much that affected him.
James's cheeks flushed even more, if that was possible, and he muttered, "Ya, yeah agreed, {Y/N}."
You curled your eyebrow at him and your smirk deepened. Instead of tease him further, you nodded and turned your attention to Remus. “Hey, Rem, can you help me with my transfiguration study today?”
“Why would I do that?” Remus smirked as you gave a helpless scoff.
“Well.. if you don't, I'll tell Sirius on you.” You challenged and Remus looked down at Sirius as he gave a dramatic gasp.
“Do as she says, Remus, we'd hate for that to happen.” Sirius chuckled and you smirked triumphantly.
“I'm still not done with you.” Remus grumbled to Sirius before he looked at James. “You either.”
“Thank you Rem!” You chirped as turned to leave, meeting up with Dorcas and Pandora at the entrance of the grand hall.
The second the grand doors closed behind you Sirius nearly lost it as he fell over laughing.
Remus covered his mouth and snickered as well as James flushed and hid his face in his hands.
“Merlin! You practically proposed to Lily Evans but you can't even look her in the eyes!?” Sirius fell back and Remus was quick to catch him, equally amused.
James groaned, his face still buried in his hands. "You're not helping, Pads.” He groaned, absolutely mortified, his voice muffled.
Remus shook his head, though he couldn't hide the amusement in his eyes. "I think what Sirius is trying to say, is you need to relax, James. {Y/N} isn't going to bite your head off."
“At least not with that attitude.” Sirius cheeked and earned a hard smack from Remus.
“I'll end you both.”

Go for his brother part 3
Part 2
Part 1

charles_leclerc The day @/y/n_leclerc and I decided to spent the forever together
view all comments
y/n_leclerc Did I mention I'm in love with you? 😭
↳charles_leclerc Yeah I think you mentioned that a few times in the vows, ma chérie
y/n_leclerc I love it when you call me french terms of endearment oh my god 😩
username1 SHE'S HOOKED
↳username2 FOR LIFE 🤞
pierregasly And I really thought I wouldn't see that day
↳y/n_leclerc Life's full of surprises isn't it?
username3 Charles calls her ma chérie, Arthur used to call her mon bébé 😭 do you get deja vu
↳username4 y/n: *breathes* y'all: do you get deja vu omg she used to breathe with Arthur 😭
↳username5 You remember mon bébé but do you remember chouchou? 😭
username3 OMG YES he used to call her chouchou and she used to call him Thurthur 😭
username4 GET. OVER. THEM. Y/n is now married to Charles BESIDES Arthur CHEATED on her. She deserved better than Arthur and now she has it.
pascale_leclerc Congratulations my loves ❤️😘 the wedding was beautiful
↳y/n_leclerc Merci maman🫶
↳username3 Pascale is just happy to have Y/n in her family and I live for this
username2 Maybe it was all Pascale's idea, when she found out Arthur cheated, she told Charles to keep Y/n in the family lmao
username3 And he stayed committed to the job💪
danielricciardo The instant photos part was awesome, I bet it was Y/n's idea
↳y/n_leclerc Yes it was 🫡and it was really nice to see you, Max, Lando and Carlos having lots of fun with it once the alcohol kicked in
charles_leclerc Not to mention now we have some things to blackmail you with
danielricciardo Bold of you to assume I'd be ashamed of any of these, Charles
carlossainz55 Looking forward to seeing Y/n in the paddock more often! 😊
↳y/n_leclerc You know, Carlos, some people have jobs... You should look it up sometime...🫶
↳username5 Is she now gonna go for Carlos lmao
scuderiaferrari Big day for our favorite couple ❤️ evviva gli sposi 👏
↳charles_leclerc Grazie mille❤️❤️
↳y/n_leclerc We're the favorite couple 🥹
georgerussell63 Even though you were engaged I didn't believe you'd actually do it until it happened
↳charles_leclerc Thanks George, supportive as always

username1 That's what I call KARMA
username2 But when are we going to talk about the argument Arthur and Charles had before the wedding?
↳username3 What were you in their house? Lmao
username2 Another gossip page said that Arthur and Charles argued in front of the wedding chapel
username3 That's so unrealistic, don't trust everything you see on these pages
username4 Hey so do we know if there were any arguments?
↳f1gossip There's no way we'd have any information on that, it was a very private ceremony. That is highly doubtful though, I don't think this could've happened. Even Arthur knows better than acting like this on his brother's wedding day.
username3 That's so right, Arthur isn't dumb enough to act like a dick on his brother's wedding day, he knows it's his own fault
username5 Yeah it would be so weird if Arthur was playing angry now like man it's all consequences of your own actions, be an adult
username6 Even if it wasn't showing, Arthur was definitely dying on the inside. Imagine seeing your ex girlfriend at the altar next to your brother. You're thinking "it should be me with her", but it's too late
↳username7 One day Y/n and Charles will have kids, they'll be a happy family. Charles will have everything Arthur could want - a seat in F1, Y/n as his wife, little Leclerc(s) running around. Arthur will always be the "less successful" Leclerc. No wonder Lorenzo stays out of the spotlight
username8 Now you're making it sound depressing lol
username7 Tbh I cried a little thinking about this even though I know that's what Arthur deserves for cheating on Y/n
username9 I wonder what happened between Arthur and [ex best friend's name]
↳f1gossip She allegedly broke up with him and a few days later was seen on a date with a fellow Formula 2 driver.
username7 This keeps getting better
username9 WHO???? I NEED TO KNOW???
username8 I saw someone say she was seen with that Piñacolada guy
username9 Piñacolada?? Do you mean Franco Colapinto?? 💀

y/n_leclerc Charles isn't my fiancé anymore 👰♀️🤵
view all comments
charles_leclerc I told you it's not the best way to say it
↳y/n_leclerc You can't stop me, tesoro
username1 OMG I've just noticed Y/n changed her username
↳username2 well, she got married...
lilymhe Wedding of the century
francisca.cgomes Every little girl dreams of a perfect wedding. That was this wedding
↳exbestfriend I've never dreamt of a wedding as a kid
francisca.cgomes Girl nobody asked
exbestfriend Why would a kid think about it? Don't they have better things to do? Like playing with toys and BEING A KID?
y/n_leclerc Pls not under my wedding post, get your jealous ass outta here
yoursister I'm so proud of you Y/n 😭
↳y/n_leclerc I know, you couldn't stop crying 😭
yoursister You know it were happy tears, I love you so much 😭
username3 LMAO [ex best friend's name]'s comments are pure comedy 💀 do you think she'll try to steal Charles now?
↳username4 Doesn't matter, Charles will never cheat on Y/n
arthur_leclerc You looked amazing
↳username2 Get the fuck out of this comment section
↳username3 All you can do about it now is cry, you wasted your chance
↳username4 The way Y/n doesn't even bother to reply
alex_albon I bet you wouldn't have the guts to wear the dress to the paddock next race
↳y/n_leclerc You're right, I won't 🙌 it's too beautiful to take any risks
charlottesiine Dream dress 🤍
↳y/n_leclerc I know right 🥹 when I saw it I knew right away THAT'S THE ONE
↳username5 wtf what's Cha doing here
username6 They follow each other since that one time they hung out together
username5 ahh the famous "we both suffered a Leclerc" thing
username7 GUYS I AM CRYING Cha said dream dress, I wonder if she's thinking it should be hers, like she should be in Y/n's place 🥹😭
↳username8 Y'all need to stop, first talking about Arthur, now about Charlotte. Go touch some grass
username7 but, unlike Y/nArthur, ChaCha broke up on good terms, so this could be her
username8 But it's not. Grow up. So disrespectful to talk about it on a wedding post
username9 I am really happy for Y/n and Charles. But I can't stop thinking this could be Y/n and Arthur. Or Charles and Charlotte
↳username7 I bet Arthur also can't stop thinking about this lmao he'll never find someone who'll love him as much as Y/n did
username9 Let's not go that far maybe...?

username1 Their voices are so similar 😭 do you think Y/n sometimes accidentally calls Charles Arthur?
↳username2 Do you think she sometimes says the wrong name in bed? 💀
username3 This whole story, from the moment Arthur cheated to the end of this interview, is my Roman Empire
username4 I love that they stay on good terms even after what happened with Y/n
↳username1 In this exact interview Arthur said he didn't talk to Charles for WEEKS, he didn't even show up on the family dinners, until one day he understood he can only blame himself
username5 You can see that Arthur is happy for his big brother, but in his voice you can hear the pain 😭
username6 When Arthur said "Now I see what I did was hurtful and I'm glad it was Charles who took care of Y/n after it happened, instead of some random guy who would possibly repeat my mistake" it broke me 😭
↳username7 "Y/n is an amazing woman and I hope Charles will give her everything I couldn't." 😭😭
username8 when Ch asked "do you think you'd deserve a second chance? if Y/n and I weren't married, of course" as a joke and A replied "honestly? no, I was a douchebag and the cheating wasn't the only issue in our relationship, she truly deserved better" AND THEN GAVE HIS BROTHER A BIG SMILE WTF?? 😭😭
username9 At least he realizes his mistakes😭
username4 Not only cheating?? What else?? I need to know immediately
username8 They didn't say it in the video, I doubt they would ever say it publicly unless Y/n decides to speak about it (but I don't see why would she, being happily married now)
username10 They should release one interview of the Leclercs just talking about this whole Y/n situation

y/n_leclerc Maybe it all happened a bit quick, but my husband is a race driver for a reason
view all comments
lilymhe I GASPED when I saw the caption
↳charles_leclerc I asked her nicely to look for some basic quote 🙁
pascale_leclerc Can't wait to meet our little Leclerc❤️
↳y/n_leclerc You'll be the first one to find out❤️
yoursister That's how I find out? Through a post?😭
↳y/n_leclerc I wanted to surprise you 🥹
yoursister I'm kidding, I'm happy for you guys 🩷
francisca.cgomes Someone check on Arthur
↳y/n_leclerc KIKA!!!!
↳username1 I love Kika 😭
↳username2 Jokes aside someone really needs to check up on him
arthur_leclerc It really suits you 🩷
↳y/n_leclerc Don't say that to Charles, he already told me he'd like 2 more 😭 I don't think I wanna go further than just this one
charles_leclerc I'm not gonna force you! If you wanna stop at one, that's fine by me
y/n_leclerc We can get a puppy instead? Right now it would be perfect so the puppy and the baby can entertain each other and grow up together
charles_leclerc Alright, ma chérie, we can talk about that 😂
↳username1 "I hope Charles gives her everything I couldn't" 😭 so that's what he meant
↳username2 Alexa play the one that got away by Katy Perry
username3 I just know Arthur will be the fun uncle omg
↳username4 I don't think he'll spend much time with the baby, if I were him it would always make me think "wow, that baby could be mine if I didn't mess up" 💀
username3 It seems like he understood his mistake and came to terms with the consequences. Plus, he didn't say it, but I feel like in the video shared by the gossip page he implied not wanting kids
username4 What do you mean? How?
username3 "I hope Charles gives her everything I couldn't" and then said the cheating wasn't the only reason for the breakup and now, a few weeks pass and we get the pregnancy announcement
username4 Well, maybe getting cheated on didn't work out so badly for Y/n in the end
alex_albon Project Verstappen? 😏
↳georgerussell63 *project Hamilton
charles_leclerc *project Leclerc 😌
alex_albon Better start saving up for the baby's therapy then

HI OH MY GODS!! your writing drives me INSANE in the best way possible and i'm so obsessed with your fics. i was wondering if you could somehow make a fic based on the "no one touches her!" line in the book??
i'm just imagining maybe an argument between percy and reader before the big fight and then the line happens and then maybe end in fluff?? ofc you can take this however you want to!! THANK YOU A MILLION!!
No One Touches Her - Percy Jackson x Fem!Reader

author's note: OMMGGG TYSM!!!! im so glad you like my work!! thanks for the request! i'm sorry it took a while and i hope you like it :)
warnings: cursing, battle, mention of bloof
genre: fluff
word count: 1.1k
-> heroes of olympus masterlist
✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒
send me requests here! (these are my guidelines)
✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒
"you don't care about me!" y/n yelled from across the room. "you never have!"
"do you even hear yourself right now?" percy retaliated, just as loudly. "you know damn well i'd do anything for you!"
a battle was on its way as percy and y/n had their loud disagreement in an unknown sector of camp. she'd loved him for too long. she'd kept faith in him for too long. she'd been "friends" with him for too long.
"really percy! than answer my one fucking question, what are we?"
"you're my best friend!" he answered.
"that's what i mean! you know damn well we're not just 'best friends!'" she said angrily. "i can admit what i feel for you, why can't you do the same?"
"because i don't know!" he confessed. "i don't know."
of course he didn't know how he felt about her. of course he didn't consider the countless nights they'd stayed up and held each other while they wept about their lives. of course he didn't count how many times they'd almost kissed. of course he didn't count her.
"i'll put in words for you." she said softly, her eyes welling up with tears. "more than friends, less than lovers."
a war was about to begin. and now if she died, he would know how she'd truly felt all these years. percy looked at her with empathy and guilt in his eyes, but she turned away, preparing for the worst.
✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒
good thing she had prepared for the worst, because how else would she have been able to fight off four monsters, by herself, with a sprained ankle, blurry vision, and intense fatigue.
she felt herself wobble as she swung her sword, but it made no impact. suddenly, she felt herself drop to her knees as spots of black began to fill her eyesight.
was this it? was this how it was going to end?
she looked around at the hideous faces that surrounded her. she'd die a martyr, a warrior, maybe even a hero. she wondered what her legacy would be; if anybody would remember her. she felt a monster slither closer to her.
"she can't fight anymore." it chuckled. "she's giving up."
"she's worn down." another monster added. "let's finish the job."
dying at the hands of a vicious beast wasn't exactly her top choice, but she couldn't do anything to prevent it. her limbs felt weak, her mind fogged up. she felt herself collapse on the ground. this was it. this was how it was going to end. she took one final look at the warzone around her.
"goodbye y/n." a monster chuckled.
suddenly, the monster began yelling in pain. her eyes fluttered open as she watched the monster float into the air, choking and gasping. then it happened to the next monster, and the next, and the next.
"no one touches her!" an angry, powerful voice yelled.
y/n fluttered her eyes open, squinting so she could see. there he was, in all his glory. percy jackson. she heard a pop sound, realizing that the monsters had exploded. he'd killed them. but he didn't slash and stab them, he bent their blood.
she faintly heard percy's voice as he knelt down next to her.
"y/n? y/n!" he screamed, stroking her hair. "fuck fuck fuck."
she felt herself get moved as her eyes shut.
✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒✧.⭒
she woke up with the same blurry vision. she blinked a few times to clear it up before checking her surroundings. she was in the infirmary. she looked around, and saw someone across from her on her bed. he was looking down at the ground, anxiously bouncing his leg. his hand rested atop hers.
"percy?" she asked, looking at him.
he quickly turned to look at her and his eyes lit up.
"y/n!" he smiled. "you're awake, you're alive!" turning to face her.
will solace came in.
"she's awake!" percy said enthusiathically.
"i know." he smiled. "i heard you from across the hall."
"what happened?" y/n asked
"you were hit, and passed out from losing too much blood." will explained.
percy was still wearing the same tattered clothes from battle.
"i'll give you guys a few minutes, y/n, i'll be right back to check your vitals." will said, exiting the room.
"how long have you been here?" she asked, sitting up a little bit.
"i dunno, twenty-somethin' hours?" he guessed.
"non-stop?"
he shrugged in response.
"percy, i-"
"listen, i know we had a fight beforehand. and the truth is, i wasn't confused, i was scared. i didn't want to ruin everything we had for a relationship. and the thought of losing you freaked me out, so i-i was a dick and i lied."
"percy-"
"just hear me out, y/n. you almost died, and i, i don't know, i just don't think i could live if you weren't here." he admitted. "when you said 'more than friends, less than lovers,' you were wrong. we are more than friends. i love you, i always have, and i'm sorry that i made you doubt that-"
her heart fluttered as the three words left his mouth. she grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him in for a kiss. his arms gently wrapped around her as her hands cupped his face. he tasted like smoke and salt-water. his hair reeked of battle, and she could feel how rough his skin was. he pushed her back a little, deepening the kiss. it was passionate, it was sweet, it was long overdue.
"holy olympus, get off of her. it's been two minutes since the girl woke up." will said as he returned.
percy, very annoyedly, was forced to pull back as will checked y/n's vitals.
"all good, y/n." he smiled. "you're free to go whenever you're ready. stay light on the sugar. don't push yourself too hard just yet. get plenty of rest."
"thank you will." she smiled back.
"where's my thank you?" percy asked, offended. "i saved your life."
"you ruined my shot at a really cool death." she laughed.
"i'm sure the sugar will get to you before the monsters do." he chuckled, before leaning in to kiss her again.
it was a little more needy this time. it was clear percy had heard will's clearance, because he was a little more firm this time.
"sorry, forgot my stethoscop- for the love of gods jackson." will commented, grabbing his equipment and hitting the back of percy's head.
"ow!" he remarked, rubbing the back of his head.
y/n couldn't help but laugh. percy laid his head on y/n's chest.
"i love you." he said, quietly.
"i love you more." she smiled. "but you've gotta get up before will comes in and yells at you again."

Helloo, may I request dad dottore with a teenage daughter reader who accidently gets in contact with a gro0mer but feels way too scared to block him bc he knows already a lil bit too much abt the reader
(I'm literally dying srs😰)
Ah, I'm sorry anon please don't die😭..

The buzzing of your phone screen illuminated the dimly lit room. You stared at the name flashing across the screen—Jack.
A knot tightened in your stomach. You didn't want to answer, but ignoring him never ended well. Your fingers trembled as you hesitated, contemplating whether you should pretend to be asleep.
Another buzz. A message.
Jack: "Hey, sweetheart. Still up? Missed our chat today. Are you avoiding me? :("
You swallowed hard, feeling the weight of his words press down on you. Jack was persistent. Too persistent. At first, it was innocent enough—just some guy you met online, friendly and charming. But as time went on, his messages became... different.
Jack: "You’re so special to me, you know that? No one understands you like I do. We should meet soon. I could take care of you."
Your heart pounded in your chest. He already knew too much—your school, the places you liked to go, your friends' names. You hadn’t told him directly, but he had his ways. The thought of blocking him terrified you. What if he got angry? What if he found you? The anxiety twisted your stomach until you felt sick.
From down the hall, you heard the faint sounds of movement—your father, Zandik whereas others know him as Dottore, working late as usual. The man you once feared as a child had become your greatest source of comfort. You hesitated before standing up, gripping your phone tightly as you padded down the hall.
“Dad?” you called out softly, pushing the door to his study open.
Zandik looked up from his work, his sharp crimson eyes softening slightly when he saw you. “What is it?” he asked, his voice void of impatience.
You shuffled inside, feeling the weight of your secret pressing against your chest. You didn’t want to burden him, but you also didn’t know what to do anymore.
“…There’s something I need to tell you.”
Zandik listened in silence as you explained, your words shaky as you recounted the past few months. His expression darkened with every word. By the time you finished, his jaw was clenched, and an eerie calm had settled over him.
“Show me the messages,” he said, voice cold, measured.
You hesitated but handed him your phone. He scrolled through the messages, his expression unreadable, but you could feel the fury radiating from him.
“This man,” he murmured, eyes flickering back up to meet yours. “He’s been manipulating you.”
“I-I didn’t mean for it to happen,” you whispered, shame creeping into your voice. “I thought he was just being nice at first—”
Zandik placed a hand on your shoulder, cutting off your self-blame immediately. “This isn’t your fault,” he stated firmly. “Predators like him prey on vulnerability. He will not hurt you.”
The weight of his words was comforting, but deep down, you knew that when Zandik said he will not hurt you, it meant something much darker.
“…What are you going to do?” you asked hesitantly.
Your father smiled, but there was no warmth in it. Only something cold. Calculated. Dangerous.
“Leave that to me.”
The next few days were unnervingly quiet. Jack’s messages continued, but Zandik had instructed you not to respond. Instead, he was doing something behind the scenes—something you weren’t privy to.
Then, one evening, your phone buzzed with a notification.
Jack: "Hey, something weird’s going on. Some guy's been asking about me. Do you know anything about this?"
Your breath hitched. You read the message again, your stomach twisting into knots.
“Dad…” you muttered, gripping your phone.
Zandik looked up from across the dinner table, his expression unreadable as he sipped his wine. “Yes?”
“…Jack just messaged me. He’s scared.”
A smirk curled at Zandik’s lips. “Good.”
You shivered. He wasn’t just doing background checks. He was hunting.
The next time Jack contacted you, it wasn’t through text—it was a desperate phone call.
You hesitated before answering, your heart pounding in your chest. “H-Hello?”
Jack’s voice was frantic. “You have to tell me if you said something to someone. This—this guy—he knows everything about me. He sent me pictures. My house, my job, my car—”
Your breath caught in your throat. “What…?”
“I don’t know who he is, but he’s dangerous. I—”
Click.
The call ended abruptly.
You stared at your phone in shock before slowly turning to your father, who was leaning back in his chair, watching you with amusement.
“…What did you do?” you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
He chuckled, resting his chin against his hand. “I simply had a chat with him.”
“A chat?”
Zandik’s smirk widened. “Yes. He won’t be bothering you anymore.”
You wanted to press for more details, but a part of you wasn’t sure you wanted to know.
And then, a new message appeared on your screen.
Jack: “Forget I ever existed. I’m sorry. Please don’t let him find me again.”
Your blood ran cold.
Jack was gone.
Your father had made sure of it.
That night, as you curled up in bed, a knock sounded at your door before it creaked open slightly. Zandik stepped inside, his usual air of intimidation softened slightly.
“You’re safe now,” he murmured.
Tears welled up in your eyes as you whispered, “Thank you.”
His lips curled into something almost affectionate as he reached out, brushing a hand over your head. “Sleep well, my dear. No one will ever hurt you while I’m here.”

angry angel / park jongseong

synopsis: you say I deserve better but what could be better than you?
pairing: jay x reader, grumpy x sunshine
warnings: arguments, hinting at a breakup, angtsy (cause that's all i know) but still fluff in the end, lmk if i missed anything
wc: 3k
You always wondered why he told you to keep the key to the padlock when you both pushed the latch of the lock that is supposed to symbolize unbreakable love. Wasn't the whole purpose of the love locks being to throw the key into the water to show that the love lock would be bound to the railing, just like how you two were to each other?
When you started dating Park Jongseong, all you friends questioned your taste and judged your decision-making skills. Since you two were the complete opposites, it didn't seem right for little miss sunshine to pair up with Mr. grumpy pants.
But something about that serious and nonchalant behavior, you saw a gentleman and a committed lover. To which he was, he was no lovey dovey prince charming. But you were so attracted and drawn to the person he was. You were just hoping that one day, you'll get to the bright side of Park Jongseong, the cute and soft side.
For Jay, his friends felt the same. They were always expecting Jay to settle down with someone who was like him, so when you walked in the room holding his hand; let's just say shock was an understatement. When they were told, they were going to meet his girlfriend, they thought a sophisticated, old money kind of vibe, laid back woman would show up. But there you were with your bubbly and friendly personality.
Nonetheless, they loved and adored you. It was something they definitely teased Jay about once he arrived back to the house after dropping you back home.
Jake, Heeseung, and Sunghoon are lounging on the couch, chatting and laughing. Jay enters, looking a bit flustered but trying to maintain his usual composed demeanor.
Grinning mischievously "Well, well, well, look who's back from his romantic rendezvous." Jake says. Jay raises an eyebrow "Very funny, Jake. Can we not start this?"
"Oh, come on, Jay. Don't be such a killjoy. We're just curious about your date with YN."
"Yeah, we're dying to know how Mr. Serious managed to snag such a bubbly girl like her." Hearing this from Sunghoon, Jay sighs "She's not that bubbly.
"Oh, really? Because when she walked in here earlier, she practically lit up the room with her energy."
"Yeah, and compared to her, you look like you're about to give a lecture on quantum physics."
Jay was used it, but he did share the same thought on how he managed to start a relationship with you and why were you both so attracted to one another.
But that did not change the fact that he did love you and did do things that you never expected from him.
Every morning, you wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and the sound of Jay bustling around the kitchen. Despite his grumpy demeanor before his first cup of joe, he always manages to make you a perfect cup, just the way you like it. As you sip your coffee, Jay places a gentle kiss on your forehead, mumbling a sleepy "Good morning, beautiful" before heading off to tackle the day.
Or after a long day at work, you come home exhausted and stressed. Jay, despite being equally drained from his own day, immediately springs into action. He starts preparing your favorite comfort food, humming a tune to himself as he works. As you sit down to eat, he listens intently to your day, offering words of encouragement and support, reminding you how capable you are even when you feel overwhelmed.
Even that one evening, you're feeling particularly down about a personal setback. Jay, knowing how much you love spending time outdoors, suggests taking a spontaneous evening walk together. Despite his initial reluctance, he puts aside his own concerns to focus on cheering you up. As you stroll through the park hand in hand, he shares stories and jokes, doing his best to bring a smile to your face.
But the funny thing was in public, you two weren't even seen as a couple since both of your aesthetics don't even blend. A few to mention; You and Jay decide to grab dinner at a trendy restaurant downtown. As you walk in, Jay, dressed in his usual business casual attire, heads straight for the bar while you, in your bright and colorful ensemble, take a moment to admire the decor. As you wait for your table, you catch the curious glances of other patrons.
"Excuse me, are you waiting for someone?"
"Oh, yes, my boyfriend. He went to grab us some drinks."
Jay returns with drinks and wraps an arm around your waist, prompting surprised murmurs and raised eyebrows from nearby diners.
Then, at a friend's party, you and Jay arrive separately due to conflicting schedules. You, in your vibrant and flowery dress, mingle with the guests, while Jay, in his usual attire and his blazer hangs back near the snack table. Throughout the evening, friends and acquaintances approach you.
"Hey there! I didn't know you were single! You're always out and about on your own."
"Actually, I'm here with Jay. He's around here somewhere."
Also, during a weekend shopping trip, you and Jay browse through stores at opposite ends of the mall. As you peruse the racks of colorful dresses, you overhear nearby shoppers speculating about your relationship status.
"Look at her, all dressed up and shopping alone. Must be single."
"Actually, I'm here with my boyfriend. He's probably browsing in a different section." Jay unexpectedly appears by your side, pulls you into his arms for a quick kiss.
Over the years, they created countless memories together, each moment etched into the fabric of their shared history. You two explored the city's hidden gems, from markets to serene parks, finding beauty in the ordinary and joy in each other's company. Jay, with his practical nature, was always there to ground you when your dreams soared too high, while you, with your boundless optimism, infused Jay's world with color and light.
The love you had for one another was not without its challenges, of course. There were moments of doubt and uncertainty, times when you and he clashed and disagreed. But through it all, you both remained steadfast in their commitment to each other, weathering the storms of life with unwavering strength and resilience.
As the chatter and laughter filled the air at their friend's get-together, Jay found himself engaged in a conversation with Jake, one of his closest friends. They stood by the drinks table, sipping on their beers as they caught up on each other's lives.
"So, how's work been treating you lately?" Jake asked, leaning in with genuine interest.
"It's been alright, you know, the usual grind," Jay replied, his attention momentarily diverted by the sight of you across the room, deep in conversation with another guest.
Jake noticed the shift in Jay's demeanor and followed his gaze. "Hey, everything okay?" he asked, concern evident in his voice.
"Yeah, yeah, everything's fine," Jay muttered, his eyes still fixed on Yn and the other man, who seemed to be hitting it off effortlessly.
Jake raised an eyebrow, sensing his friend's unease. "You sure about that? You seem a little distracted."
Jay sighed, torn between wanting to trust Yn and the gnawing feeling of insecurity creeping into his mind. "I don't know, man. It's just… seeing her talking to that guy over there, they seem to have so much in common, you know? They're laughing and joking like old friends."
Jake nodded in understanding, placing a reassuring hand on Jay's shoulder. "I get it, but you gotta remember, Yn chose you for a reason. You two have something special that goes beyond shared interests. Trust in your connection, mate."
Jay nodded slowly, his thoughts swirling as he tried to shake off the nagging doubts clouding his mind. "Yeah, you're right. Thanks, Jake. I needed to hear that."
As the day rolled on, the group migrated to Heeseung's place for some video game fun. Jay settled in next to you, eager to spend more time together after the earlier bout of insecurity. However, his hopes were quickly dashed when you turned to Sunoo, suggesting to team up for Mario Kart.
Confusion and hurt flickered across Jay's face as he struggled to comprehend your unexpected choice. He had been looking forward to bonding with you, but now it seemed like you had other plans.
"You sure you want to team up with Sunoo?" Jay asked, trying to keep his tone light despite the turmoil brewing inside him.
You glanced at Jay, her expression guarded. "Well, you never really cared for video games, Jay. I figured you wouldn't want to play with me anyway," she replied.
Jay's heart sank at your words, the sting of jealousy and insecurity gnawing at him from within. He wanted to protest, to assure you that he did want to play with you, but the words caught in his throat, drowned out by the weight of his emotions.
With a forced smile, Jay simply nodded, his silence betraying the turmoil raging beneath the surface. As you and Sunoo dove into the game together, laughter and joy filling the room, Jay couldn't shake the feeling of being left out, of being replaced by someone who shared your interests more closely.
As the game progressed, Jay's thoughts spiraled, his jealousy and insecurity consuming him from within. He watched you and Sunoo's playful banter, their shared excitement over each victory, and felt a pang of longing for the connection they seemed to share.
But amidst the turmoil, a small voice in Jay's mind reminded him of the strength of his bond with you, of the countless moments they had shared together, each one a testament to their love and commitment to each other.
As the evening drew to a close and it was time to say their goodbyes, Jay watched you flit from friend to friend, your infectious laughter and warm hugs filling the room. He couldn't help but marvel at how effortlessly you connected with others, a social butterfly in her element.
Meanwhile, Jay lingered on the outskirts of the group, his own circle of friends much smaller in comparison. He had always been more reserved, more comfortable in the company of a select few rather than a bustling crowd. And yet, seeing you thrive in the midst of so many people, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of inadequacy creeping into his thoughts.
As you bid farewell to each of her friends, Jay's gaze lingered on your interactions, he noticed your exchange with Sunoo. You two made plans to meet up again tomorrow, a casual invitation that seemed to hang in the air between them.
Soon after, you walk up to him. "Ready to go, baby?" taking a hold of his hands and placing them around her waist, then proceeding to place her hands round his neck pulling him closer. "Yeah, let's head home."
As they made their way home in silence, Jay couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled over him like a heavy cloak. He longed to voice his concerns, to express the insecurity gnawing at him from within, but the words remained trapped in his throat, unsaid and unresolved.
Deep down, Jay knew that his feelings stemmed not from any fault of your, but from his own struggles with self-doubt and insecurity. He knew that you loved him for who he was, differences and all, and yet, the fear of losing her to someone more like her lingered in the recesses of his mind, a nagging doubt that refused to be silenced.
"Hey, Yn," Jay began, his voice hesitant yet determined, "what are your plans for tomorrow?"
You turned to him "Oh, I'm going go-carting and to this cute arcade cafe with Sunoo," you replied, a smile tugging at the corners of your lips.
"Why not with me?" Jay blurted out before he could stop himself, his words tinged with a hint of desperation.
Your expression softened, a flicker of understanding crossing your features. "Well, you mentioned before that you weren't interested in doing those things," you explained gently, reaching out to squeeze his hand reassuringly.
Jay felt a wave of remorse wash over him at her words, a bitter taste of regret flooding his senses. "I… I know," Jay murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry, Yn. I shouldn't have said that. I… I regret it now."
Yn offered him a sympathetic smile, her eyes soft with understanding. "It's okay, Jay." Jay took a deep breath and mustered up a small smile. "Just… be safe tomorrow, okay? And have fun," he said, his words laced with genuine warmth and sincerity.
You nodded, returning his smile with one of your own. "I will. Thank you, Jay," you replied, voice filled with affection.
As the weeks passed by, Jay couldn't shake the growing unease that settled in the pit of his stomach. He watched from the sidelines as you and Sunoo grew closer, bond seemingly strengthening with each passing day. They laughed together, shared inside jokes, and spent more time together than Jay and you did. And with each passing moment, Jay felt the distance between them widening, a gaping chasm that threatened to swallow him whole.
Unable to bear the weight of his doubts any longer, Jay knew he had to confront you about the growing rift between them. He waited for the perfect moment, a quiet evening at home when the world seemed to stand still around them.
"Yn, can we talk?" Jay asked, his voice trembling with uncertainty as he watched her from across the room.
You glanced up from her book, sensing the gravity of Jay's words. "Of course, Jay. What's on your mind?" you replied, setting the book aside and giving him your full attention.
Taking a deep breath, Jay sat down beside you, his heart heavy with the weight of his words. "I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, and… I don't think this is working anymore," he began, his voice barely above a whisper.
Your eyes widened in shock, a flicker of hurt flashing across your features. "What do you mean?" you asked, voice barely a whisper.
"I mean… I think we should break up," Jay admitted, his words hanging in the air between them like a heavy cloud.
But before he could say anything more, you reached out and placed a gentle hand on his arm, touch a comforting anchor in the storm of his emotions.
"No, Jay," you said firmly "We're not breaking up until you tell me what's really going on."
Jay swallowed hard, the lump in his throat making it difficult to speak. "I just… I feel like you deserve better," he confessed, his voice barely audible.
Your brows furrowed in confusion, your eyes searching his face for answers. "Better? What are you talking about, Jay?"
"You deserve someone who's like you," Jay continued, his words tumbling out in a rush. "Someone who shares your interests, your personality… Someone who can make you happy in a way that I can't."
But before he could say anything more, you cut him off.
"Why can't you be that 'better' man for me, Jay?" you asked, "Why do you think I need someone who's exactly like me? I fell in love with you, not some carbon copy of myself."
Jay blinked in surprise, taken aback by your words. He had never considered that he could be enough for you, just as he was.
As you and Jay sat together, enveloped in the warmth of your embrace, you felt a rush of emotions wash over you. With a deep breath, you took Jay's hands in yours, your gaze locking with his as you poured your heart out.
"Jay, I want you to know that I've always tried my best to support you and your interests," you began, your voice filled with sincerity. "I may not share all of them, but I've put in effort to understand and appreciate the things you love. Remember when I spent hours learning about vintage cars just so I could have meaningful conversations with you? Or the time I surprised you with tickets to that basketball game, even though sports aren't really my thing?"
Jay's eyes softened as he listened to your words, a flicker of realization dawning in his eyes. He had never fully appreciated the lengths you went to in order to connect with him, to bridge the gap between your differences and find common ground.
"And it's not just about the big gestures," you continued, your voice growing more earnest with each word. "It's the little things too, like making your favorite meal even when I'm tired, or watching that action movie marathon with you even though I prefer rom-coms. I've done all of that because I love you, Jay, and because I believe in us."
"I'm sorry, Yn," Jay whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "I've been so blind to everything you've done for me, so focused on my own insecurities that I failed to see the love and effort you've poured into our relationship."
As the tender moment between you and Jay lingered, a playful glint sparked in your eyes, and a mischievous grin spread across your face. "You know, Jay," you teased, your voice filled with playful banter, "I was just thinking about heading to that tower where we placed our love lock. Maybe I'll grab the key, just to keep you on your toes."
Jay's eyes widened in mock horror, a playful gasp escaping his lips. "You wouldn't dare!" he exclaimed, his tone mockingly dramatic.
You laughed, the sound echoing through the room like music to Jay's ears. "Oh, you know me, Jay. I'm full of surprises," you replied, a twinkle of mischief dancing in your eyes.
As the laughter subsided, curiosity sparked in your mind, and you turned to Jay with a quizzical expression. "Speaking of the love lock," you began, "why did you tell me to keep the key instead of throwing it into the water like you're supposed to?"
Jay's gaze softened as he looked at you, a fond smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Well, Yn," he began, his voice tinged with warmth, "I wanted us to have a reminder of our love, something tangible that we could hold onto, even when times get tough."
You nodded in understanding, touched by Jay's sentiment. "That's sweet, Jay," you replied, your voice soft with emotion. "I'm glad we have that reminder, especially on days like today when we need it the most."
With a gentle sigh, Jay pulled you closer, his arms wrapping around you in a comforting embrace. "Me too, Yn," he murmured, pressing a tender kiss to your forehead. "Me too."
As you continued to bask in the warmth of your embrace with Jay, a playful glint still dancing in your eyes, you couldn't resist teasing him a little more. "You know, Jay," you teased, your voice laced with amusement, "you were actually kind of cute when you were jealous of Sunoo."
Jay's eyes widened in surprise, his cheeks flushing slightly at your words. "Wait, you knew I was jealous?" he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.
You chuckled softly, reaching up to gently stroke his cheek. "Of course I did, Jay," you replied, your tone affectionate. "You weren't as good at hiding it as you thought you were."
Jay shook his head in disbelief, a sheepish smile spreading across his face. "I guess I need to work on my poker face," he admitted, his voice tinged with self-deprecation.
With a soft giggle, you leaned in to press a tender kiss to Jay's lips, your heart swelling with love for the man beside you. "Don't worry, Jay," you reassured him, your voice filled with warmth. "I love you just the way you are, jealousy and all."
As Jay's arms tightened around you, holding you close as if afraid to let go, you couldn't help but feel a surge of gratitude for the love you shared. "And besides," you continued, your voice growing more serious, "why would I ever want to end our two-year relationship over something as silly as jealousy? We've been through so much together, Jay, and I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world."
With a tender smile, Jay pressed a lingering kiss to your forehead, his love for you shining brightly in his eyes. "Neither would I, Yn," he murmured, his voice filled with sincerity. "Neither would I." And as you melted into his embrace, the doubts and insecurities that had once plagued you melting away, you knew that as long as you had each other, you could weather any storm that came your way. For in each other's arms, you had found your home, your sanctuary, your forever.

Call It What You Want
Pt.2 Pt.3 Pt.4 Pt.5 Pt.6
Summary: You went to high school with Regina George and she is now your neighbor in your college dorm. She, of course, pretended like she didn't know you at first. Until she got some alcohol in her system.
Pairings: Regina George x gender neutral/fem reader
Warnings: internalized homophobia, feelings, school lol, swearing
Notes: Hi, yes. So this is my first time writing for not only Regina George but also for like reader POV. If it's any good and something people enjoy, I will do more of it. Hopefully you like it, but if you don't that's totally cool too. Thanks for reading either way.
------
You had managed to, for the most part, avoid Regina George your three years at North Shore High School. You transferred there your sophomore year, your mom taking full advantage of your dad's Evanston address when you got in trouble once at your public high school in the city. You didn't even actually do anything, but both your parents prioritized your future college education too much to let even a thought of bad behavior ruin it.
You made it through high school pretty unscathed. You laid low, had your small group of friends and kept to yourself.
You witnessed the rise and fall of Regina George in real time. You felt bad for her almost. Yes, she was a major bully, but the one time you overheard her dad yelling at her at a parent teacher conference kinda made some things make sense. She also didn't really target you with her bullshit.
Well, okay, someone wrote in the burn book that you were a carpet muncher and would call you a gay slur here and there, but you've been called worse things. People in that book were certainly called worse things.
Senior year was relatively quiet after Cady dismantled The Plastics.
Regina had taken up soccer, which was actually a really terrifying thought given the neck injury she sustained. She was good though. Good enough to get into University of Illinois, Chicago with a partial soccer scholarship.
But of course, her parents writing a big fat check may help with that.
She didn't even need the scholarship. You don't even know how she got away with getting it.
You also were accepted to UIC. You worked harder than Regina did academically, had some of the best grades in your class, did all the volunteering and extracurriculars, and you still didn't get close to the same amount of money offered in scholarships that Regina got (and didn't need).
You were angry when you found out about her almost full ride, but it was a big school and you were almost certain once you were graduated you wouldn't even be giving Regina George ,or anyone from that high school aside from your best friend, a second thought.
Seeing her at orientation seemed like just a coincidence. Watching her get her keys to the same dorm you were staying in had to be a fluke. Passing by her room, the room that happened to be next to yours, just seemed like you were being punked.
You got yourself settled while waiting on your roommate. You had been speaking with them throughout the summer and know they're coming from Colorado and also know they wouldn't be coming until tomorrow because they texted you. So you were taking advantage of this time to get yourself sorted without having to rush or anything.
You left your door open while you got yourself unpacked, a bunch of people coming by to introduce themselves to you or stop in and talk.
There was a soft knock and you turned your head, expecting to greet another person. Instead stood Regina, leaning against your wall with her arms crossed.
"Hello." You greeted, sounded a little surprised.
"Hi, I just thought since we were going to be neighbors I would introduce myself."
She almost sounded nice? Pleasant?
She also clearly did not recognize you. Yeah you trimmed your hair a bit and dyed it slightly darker, but nothing extremely different.
But this also really helps solidify just how invisible you were to her in high school.
You had two routes. You could bring up the fact that you actually know each other and make it weird, or just introduce yourself.
"Yeah, that makes sense. I'm Y/N."
"Regina. No roommate?" She pointed to the empty side of your room with her head.
"Coming from Colorado. So long drive." You scrunched up your nose at the thought of how long that drive was and she hummed in acknowledgment.
"Are you from around here?"
"Uh, yeah. The city, northside. You?"
"Evanston, so basically from the city."
"Ahh, you're one of those people." You chuckled.
"What is that supposed to mean?" She scrunched her eyebrows up, clearly getting defensive.
"You say you're from the city but you're from the suburbs. That's all I meant." You said softly, watching her face soften when she realized you weren't actually insulting her.
"Most people don't know where Evanston is, so." She defended with a small smile.
"Unfortunately for you, I do." You smiled back at her.
"Are you going to the freshman mixer tonight?"
"I didn't even know there was one." You answered truthfully.
"Mkay, you're gonna come with me then. I'll be back at like nine?"
You pulled your phone out of your pocket and saw it was only like 11am and you quickly realized the long night you've gotten yourself into.
Or that Regina had gotten you into.
"Yeah, that sounds cool."
"Awes. See you later then." She slapped your doorframe once before leaving.
But you didn't miss the way she turned and let her eyes linger on you for just a few seconds longer than what's considered socially acceptable.
---
You spent the rest of the day unpacking and getting settled. You went off campus for lunch then took a walk to get some refreshing frozen lemonade from a popular place near by and drank it while you made your way back to your room.
Regina was still setting her dorm up to her standards. Her door was open and when you peaked in, she was standing on a wobbly chair trying to tape posters to her wall.
Of course she got a single room.
"Need help?" You took a sip of your partially melted peach lemonade and knocked on her doorframe to get her attention.
"Yes, please. That would be great." She said, sound exasperated.
You held out a hand to help her off the chair, but she ignored it. Opting to just brace herself on your shoulder instead. You scratched your head and assessed the situation. You weren't really much taller than her, but your arms were longer so that could work in your favor.
You looked around for somewhere to set your drink before she took it from you to hold. You stepped on to the death trap of a chair and did your best to hang the poster. It was of an artist you had never heard of, but you wouldn't be opposed to new music if she was any good.
You pressed the corners of the poster against the wall and moved out the way. Regina thought for a few seconds before asking you if it was possible to 'pretty please' move the right side up like a quarter of an inch.
You did your best to gauge a quarter of an inch, and your best was thankfully good enough because Regina was satisfied with your efforts pretty fast.
She reached her empty hand up to help you off the chair and you hesitated at first, but took it. She stiffened her arm and gave you a firm platform to put your weight so you had support when hopping down.
Did part of you kind of expect her to let you fall? A little yeah.
"So, what are my chances of getting you to build something for me, too?" She asked sweetly while she handed you back your drink and you took a sip, your dry throat feeling relieved already.
"It depends what it is."
"It's a stupid metal shelf thing." She stepped aside and over the metal parts scattered across her floor.
There was an attempt made, so you at least know she tried before asking.
"Yeah, that looks easy to me. Do you have the instructions?" You handed your drink back to her and kneeled on the floor, rifling through all the pieces.
She set your drink down on the desk and handed you the instructions, sitting down on the floor next to you with her legs crossed.
This shelf wasn't too difficult to build, but it was definitely frustrating. The pieces were in the right spot but they just weren't fitting. Regina complained about how her parents bought her such cheap stuff and didn't even stick around to help her build it. It wasn't like they had a long drive home ahead of them.
She kept apologizing for asking you to help her with stuff or for the shelf being too difficult. She said many times that if you couldn't get it she would just throw the shelf away and not to worry about it if it didn't work out.
You reassured her that it was really okay and you were happy to help. That there was no need to throw out a perfectly good shelf. After a few pinches to your skin, a few scrapes from jagged edges, and a lot of swearing later, you managed to get it built for her.
You didn't expect her to be as involved as she was. She was handing you pieces, going over the directions with you.
You stood up and picked up the shelf, turning it up right so it was standing correctly. She stood up after you, eyeing the shelf with her hands on her hips and nodding.
"That looks perfect. Thank you so much, really."
"You're so good, happy I can help." You picked up your now melted lemonade and took a sip, trying not to be visibly upset over the fact it was no longer frozen.
"Did you get that on campus?"
"No, it's a few minutes away. Really close by. You didn't know that, city girl?" You teased and bit back a smile when you noticed the small blush to her cheeks.
"I was going to offer to buy you a new one, but since you want to be mean I'm taking that offer of the table." She crossed her arms with a small pout and the overwhelming urge to kiss it away scared you.
"No, no. I wouldn't accept anyway. It was like halfway gone. No biggie, honestly." There was an awkward pause between the two of you. "Um, was there anything else you needed help with? Or should I go?"
"You can go now." She said in a tone that felt like a war flashback or something. "I'll swing by your room to pick you up at like 8:45."
"Do you still want me to go?" You asked, because honestly her tone was suggesting otherwise.
"I wouldn't have asked you if I didn't." She defended, her eyebrows furrowed.
"Okay. I'll see you later then."
---
9:15pm and you were sitting at your desk dressed and feeling stupid. Because of course Regina was still going to very much so still be Regina.
There was a knock at your door and you waited a second before answering it.
When you opened the door, you keep your face neutral and unimpressed. Which was actually extremely difficult to do because Regina looked breathtaking.
"Yeah, I know. I'm late. Also, you look hot." She commented and it immediately made you feel self conscious because you couldn't gauge if it was genuine or not.
You thought you looked good, but Regina had been notorious for giving out fake compliments.
"Thanks."
"So you agree? You think you're hot?"
Jeez, talk about a war flashback.
"I do." You answered without missing a beat, but your insecurities were threatening to crawl their way out of your mouth at any second.
Regina pursed her lips and nodded in approval at your response and you slowly let out the breath you had been holding.
"Let's go then."
---
Regina abandoned you the second you guys got to the mixer. Which you half expected. You quickly realized that this was not an official university organized event, though the 9pm start time should've made that clear ages ago.
Another indicator being that they were at a frat house.
Alcohol was flowing, students from all different grade levels were mingling.
You grabbed a cup of whatever alcoholic beverage was concocted and got to mingling.
You talked with a few people that you found out you would be sharing classes with, which was cool.
After about an hour of mingling and drinking, you found your way to the front porch and parked yourself on their porch swing and just did a bunch of people watching.
A cat with a collar came and sat next to you, purring and nuzzling against you. You had no idea if it belonged to the frat house or if it was a stray that just frequented the area. The collar said her name was Roach which really made you thing she belonged to the frat boys, but an off campus address on the back put those fears to rest.
"You found a cat!" Regina slurred, stepping out of the house loudly. Her heeled boots clicked against the floor of the porch and she slammed the door behind her, completely shutting out the thumping noise of the party.
"Yeah! Well, more so she found me. Her name is Roach."
"Ew." She hiccuped and made her way over to you, sitting next to Roach. She angled her body and rested her head on your shoulder. "I have to tell you something." She slurred again, reaching down to let the cat sniff her hand before petting her between the ears.
"Sure, what's up?"
"I remembered you and I pretended like I didn't." She lifted her head up to look at you. "But you're a sneaky bitch too because you did the same thing." She poked your cheek with her index finger until you turned your head away from it.
"You talked to me first. I wasn't going to bother you." You admitted, getting a little frustrated.
"Why? You didn't want to talk to me?" She asked, sounding almost disappointed?
"I didn't think you'd want me to. Then I thought it would be really embarrassing if I said I remembered you and you introduced yourself to me. So I just didn't say anything."
"I didn't want you to tell anyone about who I was in high school." She rested her head against your shoulder again. "I just wanted to start over."
"I'm not going to say anything." You said quietly, a little disappointed that the only reason she tried befriending you was to do damage control.
"I feel bad about it."
"About what?"
"How I treated people." She sniffled, clearing her nose. "I'm sorry about what I wrote about you."
"It is what it is." You shrugged. "It's not like I hid my sexuality or anything."
"You didn't. It made me jealous."
Your ears perked up at this admission. You didn't know whether or not to press on or drop the subject. Whatever amount of alcohol she drank was giving her loose lips and you aren't actually sure how much of this information she actually wants anyone to know.
"You don't want to talk about this sober?" She shook her head against your shoulder.
"Talking about it sober is hard."
"Your parents not accepting or...?"
"My mom? Maybe. Probably. My dad? Absolutely fucking not." She took your drink from your hand and downed the rest of it.
"We don't have to talk about this anymore." You offered while she was downing your drink.
"I'm gonna get another drink." She began to get up, but you pulled her back down"
"Hey, no. Come on. Just stay here with me and Roach." You motioned to the purring cat between you both. "I don't want to lose track of you or the cat. So just stay."
Regina sighed and leaned back against the back of the porch swing. She bit her bottom lip and looked up at you.
"What if we brought the cat inside with us while I got a drink." She offered, giving you a silly little smirk that made your heart somersault.
"I think it's too loud for her in there." Roach let out small meow. "See, she agrees." You scratched under her chin, trying to ignore the way Regina was staring at you right now.
"You were always so nice to us."
"What are you talking about?"
"When I let Gretchen drive my car one time to get us lunch and she got a flat tire in the school lot and you helped her change it so I wouldn't get mad at her. You talked her out of a panic attack because she was so afraid of me."
"Oh, yeah. I forgot about that." You lied.
"Or when Karen was upset after the Christmas show junior year because I was just so cruel to her about her body count. Which wasn't even high. I saw you bringing her that stupid red and green caramel popcorn that the cafeteria was selling for the show."
"I saw her crying, I thought it would cheer her up."
"You also gave me ice when they dropped me on my face and you tried taking care of me."
"I was working backstage and nobody else wanted to help you. Though, I do recall being called a shitty name or two when I did that." You teased.
"I know. I'm sorry. Like really fucking sorry. I was just...projecting."
"I know." You reassured.
You sat in silence for a few minutes, watching people come in and out of the house. Regina adjusted next to you and you put a protective had on Roach and scooted her closer so Regina had more space to move.
You could feel her staring at you. It made you anxious because who knows what she was thinking about.
Regina shifted again and before you can even register her movements, her lips were pressed softly against the sensitive skin of your neck.
"I always thought you were so hot." She mumbled against your skin, her tongue poking out slightly to taste you and her right hand coming up to cup your neck.
You froze for a few seconds, getting lost in the sensation of her lips on your skin, before your rational thoughts kicked in.
"Regina." You said calmly, pulling her hand on your neck. "You're drunk." You laced your fingers with hers and rested your joined hands on your lap.
You watched her stare at your hands, fully expecting her to go off on you or to say something cruel in her drunken state.
Instead, she swiped her thumb over your knuckles and hummed a small approval to herself.
Then a cluster of rowdy frat boys came fumbling out of the house and she let go of your hand faster than anything you had ever witnessed before.
She wiped her hands on her pants and stood up with such ease that it made you question if she was ever even that drunk to begin with.
"I'm gonna get another drink. I'll find you when I'm ready to go."

I have never seen the movie and I never read the book but holy shit is the tv show, One Day, incredible work.
Spoilers obviously!! I was shocked when Emma died and got really angry that I was watching another piece of media where the woman dies and the man lives on but when I watched the finale I quickly got over that and I'm here to tell you why!! Dexter didn't have something to overcome, grow from, learn from, that could only be accomplished by Emma dying. He didn't become a better person because she died, he became a better person to be with her years ago when they finally gave each other a chance at being together. The issue with women dying in media is to further the mans arc but Emma dies in the penultimate episode. We just have one episode without her and even that episode is about her. A lot of the show is about grief, it's a coming of age, it's romance, it's second chances, it's Dex and Emmas lives together and individually, it's about appreciating each day. It's not about how Dexter became a better person after his wife died. Idk I saw someone complain about her death and I get it but it's just not the same thing we've seen before.
I also wanna talk about the title! GAH!! Oh so simple but oh so much of everything
One Day - the day they met at the party
One Day - that same date becomes the day she dies
One Day - dex will move forward
And you'll feel guilty and hungover and just shit. All day. And it'll go on like that. Until it doesn't. Cause one day, it won't.
This show was fucking beautiful and it crushed me and god did I miss good CHEMISTRY. Between this and Rye Lane, the younger brits are doing right by me lol keep em coming!
#one day#one day netflix#dexter x emma#and also one day meaning we're seeing one day in their lives as each episode ofc ofc

MCR quotes for anyone who needs them:
"Kids would say they were going to kill themselves then they heard our music... it's our mission"
- Mikey Way.
...
"Reasons why mcr is good for you
juradsleigh:
Feeling like a rad vampire? Listen to bullets
Feeling angry? Listen to 3 cheers
Feeling sad? Listen to black parade
Feeling colourful and happy? Listen to danger days
Feeling like breaking up your band? Listen to death never stop you"
...
"This is for every kid out there... That dyed their hair a fucked up colour and can't get a job. They got a tattoo on their neck like Frank, and can't get a job. That does this because they fuckin' love this. This song is for every kid in the audience- even if you don't have fucked up hair or tattoos-every kid on stage, this song's about us, this song's about you, it's called The Kids From Yesterday."
- Gerard Way.
...
"Stop covering your children's eyes.
Everything is fucked up and pretending it's not won't make it any better. I'm tired of people praying for a change when it's up to them to get off their asses and make a change."
- Frank Iero.
...
"I spent most of my time in the back of the class, just drawing. My goal was to not get noticed in school, because spent so long not being noticed anyway or being treated as if I were invisible that I started to like it.
I've learned that it's actually not very lonely... It's like, you have less friends but the friends you have count more. I met a lot of people that weren't outsiders, or they were very popular, and they have a lot of friends but I don't know if they're the kinds of friends you would call up at 3 am to help you out or talk about being depressed."
- Gerard Way.
...
"Promise me, when MCR's gone, you'll do what it takes to survive. You're strong enough to do it without us."
- Gerard Way.
...
"All your quirks and all your problems, even your depressions, and your failures that's.. that's what makes you, you."
- Gerard Way.
...
"If you or someone you know is severely depressed you need to fucking talk to someone! Your mom, someone in school, I don't give a fuck! Because suicide is fucking bullshit."
- Gerard Way.
...
"Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections."
- Gerard Way.
...
"Nothing is worth hurting yourself over, nothing is worth taking your life over"
- Gerard Way.
...
"If we never play another show again, just keep yourself alive."
- Gerard Way.
...
"We're outsiders, we're the kids who didn't get dates for the prom, we're the kids who were confused, who didn't fit in with the cliques, who weren't part of the in-crowd.
Growing up can be a very frightening and confusing time, and I think people look at us and see it's okay to be different. They see that there is a way other than what they're being offered. That you can stand out, that you can be creative, that you can be yourself."
- Gerard Way.
...
"gerard-hey:
I love MCR so much it's like they have a song for every situation. Feeling sad? Listen to The Lights Behind Your Eyes. Feeling frustrated? Listen to I'm Not Okay. Feeling Energetic? Listen to Na Na Na. Feeling like you wanna kick some ass? Listen to Destroya.
Feeling rebellious? Listen to Teenagers. Feel like you wanna break up your band? Listen to Fake Your Death."
...
"The difference we want to make is, number one, to let these kids know that they're not alone, that they're actually not that messed up, and that they can do whatever they want they can express themselves in any way they want without being persecuted or called a faggot or some kind of racist thing. Really just get people to get over their stuff so they can live."
- Gerard Way.
...
"Whatever happens to you, no matter what, l'm always fucking there for you... Don't forget that. I don't give a shit if your boyfriend dumps you. If your girlfriend dumps you. If you're working a shitty job or can't get through school. If you can't get through a fucking Harry Potter book, there's nothing worth dying over. There's nothing worth taking your life over. I will always fucking be there."
- Gerard Way.
...
"If you come to an MCR show, you're probably a little fucked up, and that's okay because we're just as fucked up as you. It's us against the world. And it's great because there's thousands of us in one place."
- Gerard Way.
...
"Someone doesn't like you? Fuck it.
Having a bad day? Fuck it. Didn't get that job, or that grade, or that promotion you wanted? Fuck it. Fighting with your lover? Fuck it. Feel fat today? Fuck it. Losing control of everything and everyone? Fuck it.
What matters now won't matter soon; the truly important thing is that you are alive, and that you have the capacity to do absolutely anything with this beautiful, crazy coincidence of being on this earth. Just stick your middle fingers in the air and think, 'Damn, I have it good."
- Gerard Way.
...
"You're going to come across a lot of shitty bands, and a lot of shitty people. And if anyone of those people call your names because of what you look like, or bedause they don't accept you for who you are. I want you to look right at that mother fucker, stick up your middle finger and scream
"FUCK YOU!!"
- Gerard Way.
...
"Real revenge is making something of yourself."
- Gerard Way.

Konrad Curze is turned into a kid.
An angry and woeful screaming from down the hall sounded out as soon as the door opened.
"We have a problem," Lion grumbled, scratch marks across his face.
Roboute squirmed in Horus' arms upon hearing the wailing. The warmaster quickly rocked him and ran fingers through his hair, soothing the boy.
"Is that another child?" Magnus questioned.
Lion grumbled, "I went into Konrad's room and found him now like these two. He panicked and hid under his bed. When I tried to get close, he scratched me and began screaming and crying."
Fulgrim's eyes went wide. He handed Dorn to Magnus and ran out.
"Let me go help," Horus said.
Sanguinius took Roboute from him. Ferrus followed.
The wailing had died down a bit as Horus hurried out. He found Fulgrim lying on the ground of Konrad's room, trying to coax something out from under the bed.
As soon as Horus entered, a scared little cry sounded from under there.
"Come on, Konrad," Fulgrim said gently. "Come on out. It's okay. It's me, your older brother, Fulgrim. Come out, little night haunter."
Konrad let out a hiss.
Horus got down on the ground.
A shivering pale little figure was crouched up against the wall. He stared back with wide and fearful eyes.
"Hey there, buddy," Horus greeted gently. "Do you want to come on out?"
Konrad didn't move or reply.
"We won't hurt you, you're safe."
The boy just stared back.
Fulgrim spoke, "Okay, you can stay under here as long as you want. Are you hungry? Do you want something to eat?"
The lights went out, and they looked to see Sanguinius.
"I have an idea," he said.
He laid down on the floor and stuck a wing under the bed, shaking it.
There was a snarl, and the angel flinched.
He quickly pulled back to reveal Konrad bit onto his wing. The boy realized he was out from under the bed and tried to escape.
Horus grabbed him, and the little being let out a horrifying shriek as he flailed, bit, and scratched.
"Easy! Easy!" Horus tried to soothe.
Ferrus moved in to grab him, the scratching not affecting his metal arms. Konrad went limp and bawled. Mournful and scared.
Fulgrim pulled a thick blanket from the bed and wrapped his little brother in it.
"Hold him close to your chest," the Phoenician told Ferrus.
His brother did so, and Konrad's cries were muffled against his chest. Fulgrim smoothed back Konrad's hair.
"It's okay," he assured. "It's alright. Let's get something to eat."
The cries died away, and Horus turned to Sanguinius, "Is your wing alright?"
Sanguinius nodded.
"Where's Roboute?"
"Getting loved on by Lorgar," the angel answered. "He was dying to hold one of them. You'd think I'd given him some great honor when I handed him Guilliman."
***
Lights in the kitchen were out to account for Konrad's eyes. He was still wrapped in the blanket and sat in Ferrus' arms. He sniffled but slowly munched at a cracker. Fulgrim ran fingers through his little brother's hair, smoothing it back and offering comfort.
"Here," He offered. "Drink."
He helped Konrad sip from a cup before he went back to the cracker.
The third Primarch smiled, "There we go. All better."

Jethro Gibbs x period!reader
title: i only want him ♫ henry come on, lana del rey
warnings: swearing, age gap
a/n: yes he's hot shut up. i got my period so I wrote this, cause I'm dying. for the girls. sorry for typos, i love y'all.
-
When I came into work I wasn't expecting to get my period so early in the morning but that's a stupid thing to think. I was late for a couple days what did I expect?
I didn't want Tony picking on me, I knew McGee wouldn't but who knows, he was always curious. It wasn't my first time having my period at work but it was my first having a very painful one.
I brought painkillers and put them in my desk, setting my bag down, I wanted to bring a hot water bottle or a heating pad but that would make it too obvious. I was too embarrassed, was it something to be embarrassed about? No but I work with three men... One I find very attractive.
Tony glanced at my figure once, glaring slightly I turned in my chair and flared back. He glanced at McGee and leaned back in his chair, "yeah we have a problem, Probie."
McGee looked up from his computer, and looked to Tony. "What?"
He gestures towards me, not caring if I noticed it. "Would you leave me alone, Tony." I snapped a little.
His jaw flew open and gave McGee a look, like he was hurt but we all knew he wasn't. "Did you hear that McGee, she's got a little attitude today!"
McGee rolled his eyes, "That's cause you keep poking at her."
"No, no. Did you see her get off the elevator, she was grumpy when she came in."
"Would you leave her alone." McGee said to him. "She's probably running on low sleep."
Tony gave me an up and down, "looks like it."
I gave him a look, "oh please, even if I looked terrible you know better than to comment on it."
Tony chuckles and leaned back in his chair, "oh yeah? What you think I'm scared of you or something?"
I gave him another look, he tried to study it but it didn't go well. "Damn." He muttered, he was right he is scared of me but didn't want to admit it.
McGee smirked, "what, say it Tony."
He was interrupted, I abruptly jerked slightly at the cramps turning in my stomach and back, they both gave me a look. "You okay?" McGee asked genuinely.
"What? I'm fine, McGee." I say, it wasn't very convincing.
"You sure-." McGee got interrupted by Gibbs appearing out of nowhere like he usually does and it made him immediately look to his computer.
Gibbs sat at his desk on my left and glanced at me, doing a once over. He didn't say anything... But after an hour it started to show I was having very bad mood swings.
Tony would do something id act out a little more than usual, it was annoying really. There was a time I was at my desk looking at the phone records of our suspect I started to tear up at my desk.
Tony gave me a look, teasing slightly. I noticed it and got a little snapy. "What Tony?! Just say it."
Tony gave a look of surprise, "whats got you all pushy today." Tony had an idea what was wrong.
I roll my eyes and stood from my seat. I walked down to the bathrooms and tried to calm down, when I spent 5 minutes in there I left and right when I was about to turn the corner Gibbs was there, it made me jump slightly.
He gave me a look, "is something bothering you y/n?" He was a little angry.
I struggled he seemed stern like he always was and maybe a little mean today probably from the way I've been acting. "I'm fine."
He titled his head slightly, "mind telling me what's got you so bitchy today?"
I breathed deeply, I shouldn't tell him... Maybe I should but that would sound pathetic to him. "I- it's nothing."
He stepped closer facing down at me. "I won't ask again."
I struggled for a second, "I just.. it's cramps." I say quietly surprised he heard.
He chuckled and gave me a small smirk, it was clear I was embarrassed and a little scared. "Why didn't you say that in the first place?"
"I thought- maybe you-."
He cut me off shaking his head, the smirk evident on his face. "I've had three wives, y/n."
I'm blushed, I wasn't able to look him in the eye for a second. "I can tone the attitude down." I tried to make an excuse.
He laughed, full heartedly. "Why didn't you bring something for the pain?"
"I brought painkillers-." He cut me off.
"I meant heat." He said bluntly.
I struggled to find the words. "I thought if I did it would be obvious."
He bent down a little to my height and he spoke. "Go get a damn water bottle, and stop bitching." He said softly, but he was stern.
All I could do was look up at him, he smirks a little as he walked away. My heart was in my throat, what am I going to do. If it was obvious to him maybe it was obvious to Tony and McGee. But that wasn't my main problem.
The way he looked at made my heart do backflips but luckily I was able to hide it. I knew he would probably kill me if I didn't listen to him so I went down to Duckie in luck id see if he had a hot water bottle or something I could use as a heat source.
I made it to autopsy where I found him where he always was, working on the victim we found yesterday. "Duckie?"
He glanced at me. His gloved hands were bloody but I wasn't squeamish. "Oh, hello my dear."
I smile a little, "Duckie do you have a... Hot water bottle down here or anywhere you can think of?" Now that I came down it felt stupid to ask him.
He titled his head a little trying to think, "you can as Mr Palmer, my dear. Is this an urgent matter?"
He gestures, I was too embarrassed. "What? No, I just... Need one."
He smiled a little, "yes alright. Palmer is in there."
He pointed to the door next to the table. I smiled a little as a thanks and opened the door, Palmer was working on the MRI scans. "Oh. Hey y/n." He smiled softly.
"Hey, Duckie told me to ask you if you knew where a hot water bottle might be?"
Palmer thought for a minute, "I don't think we have one, y/n, I'm sorry." He was genuine.
I smiled, "its okay-."
"Is this something you really need?" He asked, looking through his glasses.
"N-no, not at all. Just wondering. Thank you, Palmper." I walked out of the room and out of autopsy.
What would Gibbs do if he saw me without anything, I was scared to sit back at my desk but I did. Tony glanced at me, "and she returns, you better now?" He teased.
I gave him a look and sat back down, Gibbs was at his desk and of course he saw me. He gave me a look, one I couldn't read. "So, Gibbs tells us you have your... Lady time." Tony kept going.
McGee spoke, "knock it off Tony."
Tony smiled a little, Gibbs stood up to look at the screen right beside Tony's desk. As he didn't interfere with the conversation. "Oh come on McGee. Its obvious if she just admits it, I think I'd be satisfied."
Gibbs smacked Tony in the back of the head, Tony didn't even look at him when Gibbs headed towards me and got closer. "I thought I told you to-."
I interrupted Gibbs, "I tried, I couldn't find one."
Gibbs gave me that look again, he smirked slightly and walked past my desk, walking to the elevator.
Tony watches as well, paranoid. "So you are." He said looking at me, waiting till the elevator shut.
"Yes I am, you're a grown man, get off me about it."
McGee smiled as I stood up from myself, Tony just gave McGee a look before looking back to me. "All you had to do was say it."
"I'm not telling you I got my period."
"You just did." Tony mocked.
"Where did Gibbs go?" I was embarrassed.
Tony laughed, "ohh he knows."
"Shut up, Tony." I say.
Tony glairs, "im right aren't I."
McGee spoke, "did you take those pills I gave you yesterday?"
Tony glanced at him and back at me, "now you're sharing drugs. What else aren't you telling me." Tony was clearly teasing.
I roll my eyes. "Yes I did." I replied to McGee.
"They didn't work?"
"No." I say and lean back. I sighed a little and really tired not to make a scene by crying. And when Gibbs came back he had a hot water bottle in his hand, he snapped his fingers for me to stand up and follow him.
When I did he led me to the private room, he sat me in the chair and looked down at me. "I'm going to be right back, you stay here."
I didn't have time to say anything as he walked out the door and shut it... I waited for about 7 minutes before he came back, the hot water filled up and he handed it to me.
He sat in the other chair and looked at me, "is this stopping you from working?"
"No. Why would you ask that?"
He sighs and leans back, "because I asked."
"No." I answered. "If Tony wouldn't have said anything-."
He chuckles, cutting me off, "he wasn't the one who let me know."
I was embarrassed, "what?"
"I've had three wives, remember? I think I'd know by now." He explained, well that made sense but I was still embarrassed.
"Do you need to go home?" He asked, he saw my rosy cheeks.
"No, I'm fine." I replied, when the cramps felt like someone was stabbing me from the inside.
He studied me for a moment before his phone rang, he grabbed it out of his pocket and answered; "what is it McGee?"
There was silence before he hung up, "we have a new suspect. Are you able to come along?"
I nod, "yeah."
I rode with Gibbs, Tony and McGee with each other. When we got to the US department there was a man we needed to arrest as he was part of the murder scene but no actual evidence of murder.
When Gibbs walked in he spoke to another man, asking him where's he been the last 2 days if he's seemed suspicious etc, finding out the man we wanted left before we got there. I stood by him as he spoke, I was cramping but didn't make a scene.
I continued to put my hand over my lower stomach, in hopes it wasn't obvious what I was doing. Gibbs glanced down at my hand as he spoke, he saw that there was pain in my eyes no matter how much I tried to hide it.
He scoot closer beside me, his hand gently reaching to my lower back in secretive touch. The man in front of him wasn't able to see, he gently kept his warm hand on my lower back, and it helped the pain.
I started to relax, and without my knowledge Tony and McGee came up behind me. Tony smirked and looked to McGee. "He has a thing for her, I told you." He whispers.
McGee sighs and whispers back, "would you stop it. She's been in pain all day."
Tony shrugged, "it's not like the boss to ... You know-."
"Show affection?" McGee finished for him.
Tony clenched his jaw and looked at Gibbs hand on my lower back, "well, look at him."
McGee smiled a little, "So what? Maybe he found someone to be fond over, you're mad about that?"
Tony shook his head, "what? No. I was just saying-."
He got cut off when Gibbs turned around, he spoke in his stern voice as always. "You two, go to the airport and find him. His plane hasn't arrived yet..."
They both stood there for a second, "GO!" Gibbs snapped.
They both quickly turned around towards the large doors to their car. Gibbs looked down at me, "let's go."
I followed him to his car, and got in and it was like bricks hitting me at once and I was unable to hid it, I wince causing an unexpected man of pain to slip. "Aah!"
He glanced at me as he started the car, "yeah, you're going home."
"No!" I protest.
"Stop being so stubborn, you're going home. It's not a big deal to just admit you're having a bad period."
I was surprised, I didn't say anything but I was uncomfortable squirming in my seat. He put a hand on my thigh. "Hey, take a deep breath."
He sounded stern but, there was a softness in his voice. "It hurts-." He already knew but I needed to say it.
He nodded a little, "just breathe through it." I cried, unable to take a deep breath. "Deep. Breath." He said again, more stern.
I inhaled and released it slowly, he watched me and smirked. "Good girl."
When he got me to my place I unlocked the door, I didn't think he'd follow me in but he did and I didn't say no. I take off my jacket and put it on the couch. "Do you want something to drink-?"
"Sit." He said, and of course I did. "You have a heating pad?" He questioned.
"In my room, on my bed." I point to the door across the hall.
He opened it and retrieved the heating pad, he smirked at the looks of my room, he liked it. He then got back to me, plugging it in behind the glass table beside the couch and gave it to me.
"Gibbs?"
"Hmm?"
"W-why gave you been so... Affectionate. No offense it's just not like you to."
He smiled and sat beside me, he glanced at the heating pad pressed tight on my stomach, taking a deep breath. "It's not like you to be so bitchy for that time of the month yet here we are."
He was teasing me, I smiled a little shaking my head. "You could just answer my question."
He smirked, "nah. I like to get a rise out of you."
I took a deep breath before the pain hit me again. "Aah!" I cried out. He was unable to help himself.
He gently put his hand on my lower back, his face close to mine. "You need to try to breathe through the pain."
"I am." I say, slightly snapping.
He wasnt mad at me for that, he rubbed my lower back and put his face closer to my ear. "Can't you just listen to me for once?"
I look at him, his blue eyes... His grey hair made my heart go in my throat. "It hurts, Gibbs."
He nodded and sighed, "I know... I know." He kissed my cheek slowly, I was able to lean into it.
"Should you.. go back to work?"
He smiled and looked at the clock on my wall. "It's my break." He smirked and leaned closer.
I let him, as his lips touch mine. He cradled the back of my head and inhaled me, he was gentle but stern with his actions. He put his other hand on my hip and rubbed it softly before pulling away.
"I think I'll stay right here and make sure you're okay."
"It's just a period, Gibbs."
He rolled his eyes. "They're just cramps. Stop crying about it." He teases me.
I smile a little, no he didn't mean it. He gave my thigh a soft hit before he stood up to take off his coat. "Let me kiss you again."

Hallucinations

Pairing:Gally x female reader
Summary:The attack from WCKD left deep mental scars only Gally knows how to properly handle.
Blood.
Blood was the only thing that really made sense that night. Blood was the only thing around. It was the only thing that connected me to reality, the only thing I knew was there, the only thing I knew was real. I had felt it pumping through my veins, the same way I smelt it when I shot Chuck, the same way I saw Y/N fall on the floor clutching the side of her face as it poured through her hands.
Blood.
Blood was the only thing to exist.
We both exist now. She made it through the Maze after a freak accident with a Griever ended with a knife to her eye, I made it through the Maze with yet another sting and a gun, and we got picked up by what was at first just masked weirdos who I wasn't totally convinced wouldn't kill us or do some more weird WCKD klunk.
They didn't though. Right Arm found us, her unconscious from the adrenaline crash and me from having a spear a mere two inches from my heart. She unsurprisingly doesn't like to talk about it. To be fair, she never gets to forget it. When she wears her patch over her eye, people question her about why, if they can see what her eye looks like, how it affects her, if her other senses are good, and every invasive thing they can think of. If she doesn't, they gawk at her like she's their personal entertainment. They act like she's not a person and doesn't have one working eye.
I’m not sure if it's what she experienced in the Maze, the loss of vision in that eye, or a mix, but she experiences all these things that I can't even begin to explain. Night terrors, paranoia, hallucinations, and more. Sometimes she tells me what they are, sometimes she doesn't. Sometimes she lets me know when they're happening, and sometimes she's frozen as she stares at something that isn't real or breaking down on the floor.
She has to avoid certain things more than others. Stress, surprises, sudden big changes, and probably other stuff we haven't figured out yet.
We know about violence though. Violence and loud sounds.
“Absolutely not,”I said firmly.
“We need an extra hand-”
“Then, find one,”I dismissed. Still, Brandon insisted on following me, trying to justify why I should tell Y/N she had to come with us to the city.
“Please? I can't find her-”
“Good.”
“Come on. It's just for a few hours. It won't be-”
“Yeah? Well, a few seconds is all it takes to trigger something. Do you want to risk hurting her like that? And if you're too much of an egomaniac to care about that, you're going to have to answer to me if something happens to her,”I warned, not bothering to look at him. I also didn't have to as he walked off, grumbling something under his breath. Not that I care what. He can call me any name he wants as long as he leaves Y/N alone.
♡ - - - ♡
I was right about having her stay behind. Because they're back. I certainly didn't go into the city with the intention of finding the Gladers, but I didn't plan on a lot of things that have happened to me. I didn't plan on trying to sacrifice Greenie and Teresa. I didn't plan on leaving the Maze. I didn't plan on killing Chuck. I didn't plan on almost dying. I didn’t plan on being in Right Arm. I didn't plan on falling in love with the only person I had left. I didn't plan on sharing a bed with her every night.
I have though, just like I have found connections to our old life that I was sure were as good as gone.
Surprise surprise, Brandon. There were angry mobs, there were bombs, and there were kidnappings. It's almost like taking down a powerful organization that murders people isn't a peaceful thing. Shocker.
She stayed behind, working on the creation of the operation. Planning what the next move would be, finding out what WCKD was up to, thinking of any obstacles, all of it. She's the brains, and I’m the brawns.
So she's not here.
She's not here, and I already know how this will end.
She's not here so I took my mask off and waited for the inevitable.
Thomas stared at me with pure hatred. The rage in his eyes was like nothing I’ve ever seen, chilling me to my core. Not even when I hurt him, did he look at me like that. It was nothing dramatic. No exaggerated wide eyes or open mouth. Just a shocked rage.
As the shock faded, the second he found the ability to move, he grabbed the collar of my shirt and punched me square in the jaw, knocking me to the floor. Staying still, I allowed him to tightly grip my shirt while holding his fist to my face. If he punches me again, he punches me. If he doesn't, he doesn't.
Until I heard familiar soft cries that would haunt my dreams now, that I want nothing more than to be safe and well. But she’ll never be well again. Not completely. She can only do so much.
Not caring about it it made him angrier, I shoved him off of me, pushing him to the ground before carefully yet swiftly sitting with her in the far corner. Not yet noticing, she had both her eyes covered as her sobs grew louder, making her words incoherent.
“Y/N, it's not real. Okay? None of it is real,”I coaxed. Shaking her head, she started rocking back and forth while holding her head in her hands.
She hates it when I do this. She really, really does.
But she needs to see as much of reality as possible. So far, it's been one of the few things that grounds her faster.
Gently grabbing her face, I pulled her head out of her knees, making her look at me. She started shaking while holding her head harder, her palms pressing the back of my hands. Not wanting her to hurt herself, I slowly pried them away while still whispering soothing words.
“Gally,”She just barely murmured before saying something else I couldn't understand.
“Yeah. Yeah, it's Gally, okay? It's me,”I said gently.
“Gally,”She repeated through shaky breaths before throwing her arms around me, burying her face in my neck.
“I know. I know,”I assured her, rubbing her back.
“Thomas. Thomas isn't real,”She insisted. Knowing better than to feed into the delusions and to add something big to her plate when she was in the middle of panicking, I just kept holding her. “It's bloody. The wall’s bloody,”She said through heavy breaths.
“I don't see any blood.”
“I’m not crazy,”She said in a more steady but still barely audible voice.
“Everyone knows you aren't crazy.”
“They think I’m crazy. They don't see the Grievers. They don't see it when they don't have a body. They don't see it.”
“The Grievers are back at WCKD. Remember? They made it to hurt us. And people couldn't be alive if they didn't have a body.”
Gripping my shirt, she sniffled as her breathing started getting a little more even. Knowing she had tired herself out, I kissed her temple before picking her up, pulling her to my chest. Curling up, she gently wrapped her arms around my shoulders as I carried her out the room to get to ours.
Thomas can do whatever he wants when this is over. I don't care if he beats me to the brink of death. As long as I’m good enough to comfort her when she needs it, it's okay.
Walking past the door we leave cracked for exactly this reason, I then shut it with my foot before slowly setting her down on the bed. The second her head hit the pillow, she was out.
I’ll sleep beside her. I always will. I’ll hold her as she takes a nap.
I just need to sit for a moment and keep thinking about the best way to make her better. For real this time.

HOWEVER. HOWEVER. whenever people use that scene in lockdown as proof that cameron never loved chase, an angel loses its wings, because. let's look at this fucking scene.
Chase has been avoiding signing the divorce papers, saying he wants to have a conversation about it first. This is fair enough (and it is Telling that Cameron doesn't want to talk about it), although when Cameron agrees, Chase launches right into it:
CHASE: Did you ever love me? CAMERON: How can you even ask that? CHASE: The first time you slept with me was because you were on crystal meth. CAMERON: I was on the drugs because I was emotional. It was the emotions that led to the sex, not the drugs. CHASE: Not true. After that, you refused to let it go further than just sex. CAMERON: Because I knew I was falling for you and I didn't want to. CHASE: And that never changed. You broke off our vacation because I bought you a ring. CAMERON: I got cold feet. I'm not proud. CHASE: And then you almost called off our wedding because — CAMERON: Don’t — CHASE: And then you almost called off our wedding because — CAMERON: Don’t — CHASE: — you couldn't give up the idea — CAMERON: Don’t! CHASE: — of having your dead husband's baby. CAMERON: [angry] Don't bring him up!
The interrogation starts with them across the room from one another, but as Chase keeps making demands, he moves closer. He is visibly and obviously angry, and he has his arguments ready — but they're pretty fucking biased, he is cherry picking to make Cameron look bad:
He never had a problem about the meth hookup at any point before now. In fact, in Hunting, Chase was the one telling her this should be a one-off. Using it as proof of anything is inaccurate.
Chase referencing the S3 FWB era is true, but so is Cameron's counterpoint. In fact, during S3, Chase himself makes this argument: it was obvious to him that she liked him, that's the whole reason he continued to pursue her. He is also leaving off the fact that she did leave her job in part for him, to be with him.
Chase is fine referencing Saviors here, that is the one moment of Cameron's that is hard to justify. But at the time time: she did come to her senses and beg for him to take her back.
Finally, he brings up the sperm. And guess what! Chase is lying again! He is the one who called off the wedding, because he was worried she "wasn't sure." It's true that Cameron wavered here, but Chase is also the one who told her don't worry about it, understanding (at the time) that it wasn't actually about the sperm, it was about her difficulty letting things go.
At each point, Cameron denies his points. Not only that, she actually goes further than what we saw in canon: she basically implies that during the Meth Hookup she already had feelings for him, which is a total retcon!
But Chase continues to yell. He is in her face, they are both yelling, they are both angry. But he's the one getting closer to her, and he continues to berate her:
CHASE: Because even then, you weren't sure about me. Maybe if I was dying when you married me, it would have been a bit different. CAMERON: That's not fair. CHASE: It's not only fair, it's exactly the point. He was dying when you met him, and he was gone just a year into the marriage. So it was all a honeymoon with him. And I could never match up to that. The first time reality intruded — CAMERON: Stop this. CHASE: Just tell me the truth. CAMERON: About what? CHASE: Did you ever love me? CAMERON: [in tears] I don't know!
Chase probably has a point about the honeymoon thing, although he is very much avoiding that "reality" was "my mental breakdown after a murder," or that Cameron's reaction in Teamwork was actually to try and work things out together; these are hardly normal circumstances for a couple. He wasn't unexpectedly fired from his career, you know?
But he keeps getting in her face and demanding she tell her what he wants to here. These are deeply leading questions: he is telling her, over and over, you never loved me, here's my proof, say it. It is the definition of coersion: Chase already has an answer. He makes her cry. And only then, after minutes of being yelled at and given a biased take of their relationship, does Cameron admit —
Oh, wait. Actually, she doesn't admit it. She says I don't know, a pretty understandable response to all this. And Chase, having gotten the answer he wanted (even if it obviously hurts him to hear), backs off as she starts sobbing.
He has literally bullied and berated and coersed her into saying she doesn't love him, and she still didn't actually say it. In fact, in the next scene of them, what does Cameron do?
CAMERON: [still crying] How do you look so okay? CHASE: I spent months wondering how I made it go bad. If you never loved me, then – then I didn't do anything wrong. [She resumes crying. He goes to her.] Hey. Allison, come on. It's all right. CAMERON: I still don't know why I said that. It's not even true. I did love you. Just… not in a way that would have ever worked. CHASE: Why not? CAMERON: Because everything you said is true. I'm a mess. I married a man I knew was dying. So God knows how screwed up I already was. Him dying messed me up even more. I pushed you out of my life. And I-I'm unfixable. Not you. CHASE: I'm sorry. CAMERON: I'm sorry too.
Here Chase admits his motives. He wanted to blame her, because then he doesn't have to blame himself. So he let himself forget all the times that Cameron was a loving partner and reframed their entire relationship in his head. He made it her fault. This is actually a really shitty thing to do to someone! Let's be clear! This divorce is literally Chase's fault! He murdered a guy, he refused to leave with Cameron, picking House over Chicago. Would they still have split up if they'd followed her plan? Probably! But that's not their current reality.
But Chase wants to feel better about himself. So he blamed her. And, worst of all? It works. Cameron immediately clarifies that she did love him and she did not mean what she just said (funny, how not being yelled at…), but then goes ahead and takes the blame anyway. She is a broken, unlovable, unfixable person. It is her fault they are not together. Chase was right: she is the villain.
Cameron does hit on a couple small grains of truth here. She is a messed up person and always has been, her husband really did do a number on her. She is so afraid of loss that she makes her entire life about never losing anyone, never getting hurt again: she fled to Chicago and refused to even have a conversation with Chase about it, because that would be too painful. But for her to come away with the takeaway that she is broken and permanently damaged, that she doesn't deserve love, that this breakup is her fault? That's fucked up, and that's wrong. And it's incredibly fucked up of Chase to throw that in her lap, too.

If you are still taking Prompts, I would love to know how Danny's Delivery went in your fic Delivery in your Grandfather Clock's series. Like, I'm just imagining him getting shot (not seriously) and Clockwork fussing over him even while he congratulates Danny on doing a good job.
"Okay," said Sam, the minute Danny's parents and the doctor went out into the hallway to talk. "Spill."
"It pretty much went how I said it went," said Danny, shrugging. "I found that guy's notebook and decided to bring it back to him. The Guys in White were there with their stupid ultrasensitive targeting system. I set it off and they shot me."
"Yeah, you're helpful, but you're not that helpful," said Sam. "You'd normally have handed it off to Jazz, since she's got some classes there."
That was true.
"You've done it before," said Jazz, crossing her arms. No help there.
"Okay, you're right, but you have to promise not to get mad," said Danny.
Sam and Jazz looked at each other. Danny would have liked Tucker to be there, just for the sake of Guy Solidarity, but Tucker refused to get anywhere near a doctor's office unless someone was actively dying.
"Go ahead," said Jazz, finally.
"Clockwork gave me the notebook and told me to bring it back," said Danny. "Because, he said, the Guys in White would lose a lot of recruits and that'll be important in the future."
"He sent you somewhere to get shot at?" asked Jazz.
"I knew I was going to get shot at, and I did it anyway. That's kind of what I do every time I fight ghosts, too."
Jazz made a face. "That's true."
"So, it was time agent stuff," said Sam. "That's still working out for you?"
"Oh, yeah, it's great," said Danny. "Clockwork is great."
"I'm glad, but still... I don't like that he sent you to get shot at on purpose."
"But I'm fine."
"And remember what he was like during the snake thing," said Sam.
"I wasn't there during the snake thing," said Jazz. "Because you didn't tell me about the snake thing until after."
"Oh, yeah. Well, he was completely doting on him. Like at the, you know, at the party."
"You can say deathday around me, I'm not going to freak out."
"I know, I know," said Jazz. "We all like Clockwork, it's just that with Mom and Dad... You don't need someone else who cares more about work."
When it came to ghosts, things weren't quite that simple. He didn't think things were quite that simple with his parents, either.
"Yeah, but it was about making me safer in the future."
Jazz's expression softened further. "If you're sure that's what's going on, okay," she said. She sat down in one of the chairs. "But maybe give me a heads up in the future? You nearly gave us a heart attack."
"Mostly you," said Sam.
"Mostly me," agreed Jazz.
"Time out," said Clockwork.
Danny sat up straighter on the examination table. "I didn't mess anything up, did I?"
"Not at all," said Clockwork. "You did wonderfully. Everything is as it should be." He held out a hand. "May I?"
Danny nodded and slid the paper examination gown to one side so Clockwork could see the burns more easily. They weren't serious, and he was already healing quickly, but they were worse than what a regular human would have gotten from those weapons... Which had, at least, made the doctor and his parents that much more angry at the GIW. Although, who knew how long that would last or what excuses the GIW would come up with.
Clockwork adjusted one of the watches on his wrist and passed his hand over the burn. Danny watched as another couple of days of healing passed in front of his eyes.
"I need to learn that trick," said Danny, putting the gown back into place.
"I will be happy to teach you," said Clockwork.
Danny blinked at him. "Really?"
"Really. Time in."

does anyone else feel like sonic 4 is probs gonna be a bit dark
cw and tw just in case cus ya know some dark theories ahead and the k word that means unalive
sorry i was just curious abt this topic that came into mind and wanted to see what you guys thought too
i- look i know there's no offical outline for what's gonna happen beyond "OMG LOOK AMY AND METAL WILL BE IN THE 4TH MOVIE" but with all the villain stone theories sonic 4 has the potential to be dark with stone like funny haha villain (rob) is gone and stone isn't being funny haha rn he's probably depressed and sad and angry
if they do go with the villain stone way then sonic 4 might go beyond just PG (that's what all the movies have been rated) like we could get a scene like oh there's sonic and his friends being funny and all around wholesome and then next scene there's stone's extremely sad and dark atmosphere like one moment we're all smiling and laughing at sonic and the next moment our smiles completely drop so fast like a bowling ball falling from the sky
it could also be dark bc stone could actually almost kill sonic not capture not send him away to another planet no kill
like i said funny haha villain is gone and very upset angry villain is here, cus think abt it in ya know our universe this is all fictional and a kid's movie so we can't let sonic get destroyed or captured we HAVE to expect rob to lose but in the movie's universe rob realistically should have gotten sonic and his other friends by now and should not have lost 2 separate times (i don't think sm3 counts but lmk if i'm wrong) if what the canon tells us abt movie rob is true(which it is) then if rob wanted sonic captured or off the planet or even dead it would have happened already in movie universe but sense this is a kid's movie it can't happen
sense rob didn't get to do that stone will, no probably in the sentence
i will not be surprised if stone is one millisecond away from actually destroying sonic and co and rob comes back alive at the last second to calm stone down cus this will be for revenge bc hell hath no fury like a person in love scorned plus who remembers and saw their love dying
i feel like there's something more to say abt this but i'm too tired to remember so feel free to discuss to your hearts content maybe i'll remember tmrw
#stobotnik#sonic the hedgehog#sonic 4#agent stone#villain stone#a thought i had just now is maybe this can't happen at all anyway cus kid's franchise#and isn't movie sonic and co all like children or are they ageless in the movies too#and i don't think stone or rob would do that#i've been confused abt sonic and co's ages snice i joined the fandom i've been hearing lately that they're canonically ageless outside of#the sonic movies#lmk if i've been misinformed
