TWO VERY IMPORTANT DWARF FORTRESS MODS

Dwarf Fortress is a big complex game, it's bound to have a number of issues

one of these mods fixes a very GLARING issue in the game, while the second one is simply a quality of life mod, if you want a more vanilla experience that simply fixes a big issue, just install the first one if you'd like, though I'd personally strongly recommend both

Some comparisons for how far I am in the graphic pack I am working on.

I have completely redone the dwarf faces, hats/helmets, and 10 animal people, and selected new colors and adjusted to fit the hair, armor, and clothing. For those who aren't familiar, original graphics are first, then my sprites.

I’ve been playing a lot of modded Dwarf Fortress lately and was in the mood to draw the two most interesting characters from my current fort!

Enissa (he/him) is the leader and broker of a warren of lapines. Keekeek (she/her) the ratfolk came to the warren as a bard, and despite her grumpy nature, she fits in surprisingly well with the rabbits. together these two make quite the strange pair of unlikely friends.

Blind/BlindIRL's playthrough of this truly cursed map is a sight to behold - an expert playthrough of truly one of the most horrifying maps I've ever witnessed.

I would seriously recommend watching through the video, and supporting the creator where you can. It's an absolute masterpiece.
