Dwarf Fortress is a really good game because the cyclops that comes to your fort and kills four people is an intellectual, and also horrified by the dwarves it chased down and pummeled dying.

I always hesitated at making a comic, because of my drawing speed. Time is indeed scary to waste, but when I look back at things I drew just for fun without looking at clocks, they remind me of the real reason why I'm an artist.

A very peculiar mystery!

Looking at the colours, it's likely it's Gabbro, Andesite, or Phyllite.

I initially also thought it could be Limestone, but the comparative between the two makes Limestone too blue in compare.

I'd not be the first to say a guide on Dwarf Fortress is warranted, and it seems like this one is going to be in full colour, with images, and other small quirks.

I've picked it up myself, along with the Expedition Journal, which you can pick up alongside it at a discount.
