Oh yeah to give a reason as to why I wanted to watch My Little Pony is because I loved the old mlp when I was a kid and I infamously had a huge tub of mlp toys that would probably sell for thousands if I still had them. Additionally, I enjoy the fan content so fucking much. I love people's fanart and AUs and headcannons and fanfiction so much. It feels weird to interact with all of it when I've never even watched Friendship is Magic.

Then the thing that pushed me over the edge was uh... so I have a character based on Amalthea from The Last Unicorn, who is a Dutch Angel Dragon. I realized it would be kinda cool to draw her as a mlp character in the style of someone elses AU characters... and then I realized if I was going to go through so many universe jumps to make some art, I should at least try watching mlp lmao.

glasses ? contacts ? : glasses. i have contacts but haven't used them in a while.
