in his hof verse, iggy was supposed to die when killing the archdemon. then i went and wrote him in inquisition like an idiot and i've been trying to figure out how he survives ever since. he wouldn't do the dark ritual (the shocking reason here is that he'd rather die than have a kid that he could never meet), and he wouldn't ask alistair to do it. so. i think i'm gonna go with this.
