my favorite cast member: patrick fabian, rhea seehorn and batsy brandt!! both of the casts are full of charismatic and smart people, but these are just funniest ones, i love how charming and hilarious they are.

my favorite ship: gusmax!!! fits my beloved "partners in crime" trope. ofc mcwexler for the same reason and their sincere attempts for their relationship to work. and also marie and hank! they are obviously not the nice people, but for each other they are very kind, loving, and, most important, accepting.

a character I’d die defending: chuck of course, "he's literally me" (jk, to some extent...). he is not the nice and kind person, but he really is consumed by his mental issues, and the problem is, even the characters base their judgement of chuck on a thought that he's just normal, but awful dude. i believe it killed him, no one truly understood what was going on. but also!!!! in some ways, jesse. as i analyze his path more, i understand he's mostly responsible for his actions and he's done tons of terrible things (but i still think he's not the brightest person and is very influenced, so the people around him contributed to his wrong choices, his parents included). but his sense of justice and inner kindness resonate with me. i like that no matter what happens to him, he still cares for people, loves kids, is willing to help and be open (the last one is at least until his captivation). i appreciate this core kindness in people.

That's it. I've found my most favorite Cdrama character of the year. Do I love everything about him? No. Is he very relatable? No. Is he the best acting performance of the year? No. But heavens forbid if Master Li is written in a way that is just SO understandable and consistent for the setup of a sunny fearless youth who became an immortal and grew weary and bored with time, and decided to just stop with immortality and take one more chance at truly enjoying the mortal world so he could die satisfied. He's just so fucking intriguing to me I could write a 5 page essay about him! I guess I have already written about 2.5!

Further proving how unreliable he is while she is dealing with a sick mother, glory, school, and just her general Slayer duties he puts her and her entire family at risk by going to the suck house (could you imagine the harm that could have been done if someone knew he was the slayers bf and turned him) because he needs to feel “needed” when he IS and WAS needed by buffy but just not in the ways he wanted so he had a whole ass tantrum and betrayed buffy in literally the worst way imaginable and being SUCH a hypocrite after he talked sooooo much about buffy having a thing for vampires and then blames her and spike for his own failings and selfish choices!

And then when he should be groveling for forgiveness he’s like you have to talk to me because I’m leaving unless we talk and you forgive me which is SOOOO fucked up. Like I cheated on you and betrayed you and put you and your family at risk but if you don’t forgive me immediately and accept blame for my failures I’m leaving you and going where I’m NEEDED. The fans have such a strong reaction to him because he is never called out or properly held accountable/villainized for all the harm he causes to buffy in the show and that lack of accountability causes all of us to feel a very justifiable outrage. CAMELLIA GWERM

Camellia is a romanceable companion in WotR who's one of the first party members you get at the start of the game. She's also a serial killer, a cannibal, and extraordinarily horny for murder. She's the kind of person that makes a "getting wet" pun about getting covered in blood while torturing and killing a slave she bought in Literal Hell. The only reason anyone tolerates her is because she's useful in the war you're fighting together, even though she doesn't actually care about the conflict at all and just sticks around as long as you're willing to give her cover for her crimes. Her romance arc is just as ridiculous: the first time you hook up is right after you catch her catfishing and murdering a dude, and her idea of letting people know you're "official" is to turn you invisible, sneak you into a church, stab you in the stomach, and let the congregation see you together when you reappear. There's even times when she tries to be a better person but completely fails just to drive home how nothing you can do will ever Fix HerTM. I think she's hilarious because her cover story is so obviously paper thin that basically EVERYONE sees through it right away, but she still acts like she's some kind of criminal mastermind. She charges into battle shouting things like "You will be today's sacrifice" and "You'll pay with your blood," she wears an amulet that hides her alignment (something no actually good character would do), and she just can't help herself from saying brutal shit around the rest of the party and trying to laugh it off afterwards. At one point the guard investigating her murders straight up tells you they know Camellia is the killer, but they won't arrest her because she's still helping the war effort. She's an irredeemably awful person, a terrible liar, and my fucked up little guy. I love letting her act all smug and enigmatic while everyone already knows how much of a piece of shit she is. My dumb lesbian ass bought the game just so I could mod it and romance her.

Mentioned to be the only one who enjoyed the act of exterminating the Ishvalan race during a civil war/genocide campaign. Finds the sounds of explosions and suffering to be beautiful, and sees the act of killing and destruction to be artistic. Aware that his way of thinking is unusual and is able to act "normal" to the point of passing psychological examinations in order to pass the State Alchemist exam without issue, allowing him to serve as a military weapon. Doesn't care if people die, including himself, and mentions that he finds it enjoyable how he could die at any moment. Very Darwinist point of view, but is genuinely polite and holds deep respect for people with strong convictions who stand for their own beliefs. Remembers the all his victims out of respect, since he's certain that they'll never forget him either. Mentioned to my friend how I liked his character and got asked "what is wrong with you?". Also villain wiki lists his crimes as "genocide, mass destruction, mass murder, and crimes against humanity" and one of his hobbies is "killing people" so he's definitely not a good person lol. Also happened years ago but people on twitter were saying that people who liked him were anti-semetic??

As game Lambert #1 fan 5ever the Nerflix Lambert sucks but not bcs of what people think? (I didnt read book of elves I love and respect myself sometimes )

As in game Lambert is kinda fun in that he got actually defined compared to Novels and Hexer where he did not exist ad character proper. He is deeply mean and sarcasric person, being willing to chew out his closest friends and enemies alike. He isnt as morally concerned abt stuff as geralt and when someone asks him to kill a monster he'd do it. Fuck he'd even go as far as use Axii to make two bandits die in horrific way. This is after all his lot in his shitty miserable life. He hates witchery and witchers and the very concept of this much suffering ("But you kept the table" he says furious to Vesemir as they stand above screaming Uma). His attitude is just such a complete 360° from Geralt' silent acceptance of what was done to them. It truly becomes the only voice of like hey fuck what happened to us, fuck it all to hell. Hes an utter fucking dickhead and hell provoke people for no reason (talkinf abt geralt and triss in front of phillipa for no reason) (i deadass dont think he would fuck up yens stuff on purpose tho #;#&#&)

His main core personal element is revenge. In his short appearence in w1 he proclaims desire to slaughter salamandra for killing Leo. In W3 he goes on massive revenge rampage spanning CONTINENTS for a guy we dont know (and thats pretty cool to me, implying he has adventures outside geralt, both him and eskel). He says his first action after he left Kaer Morhen was to find and kill his dad ( and him being sad he couldnt save his mother his life is all just empty revenges that will never fill the holes of people hell miss).

But also main Core element of Lambert is also love as cheesy as it sounds. He cared deeply for Leo and Aiden and even his own mom. After Triss. Got conked out by a mage guy in witcher 1 he cared for her and watched over her (they were hardcore inplying shipping which is funnt but whatever). He literally puts his life on line dor Ciri and Geralt. The thing is he is dickhead but he will do Everythinf for those few peoples he has left in his life.

The Point is games being games and larger allowed Lambert to have depth and nuance. He is imo one of the most interesting and coolest game characters. Netflix Lambert however did not have the time for variety of reasons to get that.

One is Lambert is very minor person in books. Second is that the show didnt...realy care abt witchers past vesemir maybe. So he wasnt a focus. In the end what we get is disappoitninf character not helped by the fact most witchers in netflix are cannon fodders for baba yaga.

ONE issue that I have is people saying Lambert was a dick to Ciri and thats OOC. While I cant speak from the POV of books (altho my friend who did read them say he is sexist), from POV of game thats untrue. In fact I believe game Lambert would VERY much be a fucking dick to Ciri fron a start. It doesnt even need to have sexist colouring to it. This dude HATES witchering. He hates the mutagenesis and the pain of it all, the destiny in it. I firmly believe he wouldnt be OK with a bew trainee and guess what? While he didnt live through instructors not giving fucks abt new witchers because like 1/20 live to become witchers he LIVED through it. On his skin. I firmly believe Lambert being DICKHEAD to ciri at first is nit only a whiff of the complex game!Lambert but a decent start of its own standalone character.

In witcher 1 also wheb tou tell him Leo died he laments he "was not ready". Leo. Just like ciri never got his mutagens (take this with grain of salt because leos whole character is weird tm). So him being an miserable instructor who will push you until you cry is in character ingame. This guys has ten layers of issue.

What Netflix misses is the fact we dont SEE lambert getting to his relationship Ciri where we see rhem albeit briefly in game (willing to fight to death for her). We just have this awkward jump from utter hostility to them beinf kinda pals after baba yaga fight. In the end netflix lambert is just. Boring.

Dinnertime for the Rick stans. Yummy yum. I love fanservice, yummy yum yum.

Another great episode for season six. This has really been Rick's season so far, huh? Season five leaned that way (he even got an entire episode to himself, which was unheard of at the time), but season six is just like "Yeah, Rick stans, we're just going to give you what you want."

I suspected that this episode wouldn't have a B-plot because I'm not sure how much excitement the writers could wring out of the Smiths going to the zoo, lol. I think that would've detracted from the main plot. Also, it's nice to have a "straightforward" episode once in a while instead of one that bounces back and forth between different characters. This episode makes the most out of twenty minutes.

Still, I hope the next episode focuses on Rick and Morty because this season is in dire need of their dynamic. When I watched the end credits scene, I thought "Finally, Morty has something to do." He and Rick are great characters on their own, but the show doesn't click without both of them.

But yeah, the crew knew exactly what they were doing with that suit, lol. I half-expected it to be a thirty-second gag and was pleasantly surprised when he wore it for most of the episode (lmao why do I care so much? I'm a lesbian. But he looks so cute in it!) It's to the point that his suit jacket magically reappeared in the next scene after he dropped it on the floor during the fight. (Well, I guess he could have picked it up.)

Honestly, I also raised an eyebrow at the fight scene. One second in particular gave me "Look at how his lithe body twists 😏" vibes, especially with the angle. Also, how tall was that bodyguard? He was taller than Rick!

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but eh...I don't think I am. I get the impression that Rick fuckers have entered the writers' room.

Anyway, I was hoping we'd get to see how Rick and Jerry's dynamic has changed after Rick said in Bethic Twinstinct that he got drunk with Jerry one night, gave him the "pillbug protocol" that he wanted and got matching tattoos. This episode was the perfect follow-up.

It was surreal to watch Rick being nice to Jerry. He wasn't even THAT cold and distant with him. Did Rick even really have a reason to help him? He could've let Jerry just have sex with his mom and then mocked him for the rest of his life. Seasons 1-4 Rick would've cracked his shit up at that.

Once, Rick berated and humiliated Jerry at every turn. Now, he carries him through the air duct with a tentacle even though Jerry literally could have just climbed the ladder behind him. He sighs and rolls his eyes sometimes but helps Jerry throughout the episode without pitching a fit. No "Oh my God, Jerry, I'm only saving your stupid ass because my daughter inexplicably likes you!"

This COULD be out of character, but I don't think it was. It's another demonstration of how much Rick's growing and changing. The episode even explained the "human shield" gag from the trailer, which I assumed was the usual joke about how Rick hates Jerry so much that he's willing to let him die. He just did that because Jerry was immortal at the time.

And of course, just like Solaricks, Rick tries to put on his mask again at the end and act that he doesn't care about Jerry. He even slaps him as a last resort. But he can't keep up the act. Not anymore.

This sounds a little corny, but I liked how we saw a good combination of men, women and POC the board room. OK, I know that sounds like I'm trying to insert "wokeness" in a series that's not known for being "woke," but so many shows portray corporations as a bunch of white dudes and one token white woman to "keep the girlies from bitching about it."

Similarly, I liked the Gwyneth Paltrow/Elizabeth Holmes girlboss character. She was evil but not obnoxiously, gratingly evil. I didn't care for the hillbilly guy--he almost seemed like a character from a different show.

Also, random, but I love how the artists draw scenery. It sounds silly, but Panda Express actually looks like Panda Express. The zoo gift shop looks exactly like a zoo gift shop. The artists and animators create vibrant, lifelike scenery instead of generic stores and restaurants that make the world feel "real" and lived-in.

I'm guessing that none of them jumped on the Panda Express counter and demanded Szechaun sauce.

Speaking of the artwork, the art and animation in the last fight scene were incredible. I wonder if the animators were referencing the Run the Jewels "Oh Mama" music video, especially since Rick's wearing the same outfit. The lighting and design were similar.

This isn't a problem with the episode itself, but I do miss the surreal, brightly colored alien worlds from the first five seasons. Rick needs to fix his portal gun already, lmao. I love watching the show push its boundaries, but I don't want it to lose the adventurous, sci-fi aspect that makes it fascinating and entertaining to watch.

Overall, I think season five was the end of "old" Rick and Morty. Some say that it ended with season three, but seasons four and five still had similar tones, humor, plotlines and characterization. Season six is new territory. "Rickmurai Jack" was the transition point--the reveals irrevocably changed the show, and it can't go back now.

Not gonna lie, that was pretty fun. I feel like this was a pretty well-designed map. There was enough pressure to force me to get moving and enough enemy obstacles to make it challenging, but without making it impossible. Same with the turn count.

Ohhhhh, wait, wait, wait. Hapi says she was abducted once for someone's "twisted" experiments. Gotta be TWSITD, right? And she specifically says "her," so Cornelia likely over Kyrona. Because in Hopes she was nervous being in the Kingdom, worried she'd run into a "her." Must be Cornelia.

Honestly, all this "Aelfric's sooooo perfect!" makes me a bit suspicious of him. The game is just pushing him as this totally pure dude a bit too hard, and there's got to be more to him then "saint."

Overall, I feel like this game is doing a good job making Hilda and Linhardt feel relevant to the story, but everyone else feels tacked on.

So if we're visiting Rhea now, does that mean everyone came back up? I'm gonna call BS if Hubert and Dedue just let Edelgard and Dimitri go to this dangerous area without them.

Byleth is so uber special he unlocked the Chalice by himself! It's this kinda stuff that I don't like about Byleth.

Rhea be like, "Here, take some experienced knights to help unkidnap your beloved Aelfric and protect all the heirs to the existing kingdoms in Fodlan, who will for some reason participate in this too." Everyone, "Nah, let's do this ourselves! Who needs experienced knights and extra manpower to save someone we care about! Let's put all of Fodlan's future leaders at risk too while we're at it!" Rhea "Sounds good!" Like I know this is DLC, but there's only so much disbelief I'm willing to suspend.

And now Balthus is like, "Oh, you may be our great friend and trusted leader and we're in the middle of a crisis, but btw, how did you end up here?" Like, I know they want to explain Yuri's backstory . . . but, like, why didn't a Deer, Eagle, or Lion ask that? The writers could've tried a bit harder.

See, this is what I mean. Linhardt cuts in because his crest knowledge is important to the storyline, and the three lords also trail in because . . . they're the lords. Like, don't get me wrong, I love some more Dimitri content, but I feel there's a ton of missed opportunity here with Dimitri having a chalice around that could bring back the dead, new lore for Claude to learn, and new dirt that could get dug up on the church for Edelgard, but like, there's nothing.

So all 4 of the crests needed to unlock the chalice are in the wolves, hummm, this isn't suspicious - at all. Nope.

Constance being like, "oh, mine's a secret even from the Empire." . . . right in front of Edelgard. Not a secret anymore. See, this scene makes more sense WITHOUT Edelgard, who added nothing of substance and makes it more awkward being there.

Yuri is like, "no, this isn't suspicious at all." Actually, yes, yes it is. Dimitri's spot on saying they could've just stolen the chalice if that's all they wanted. There's more going on and Yuri's either unintelligent (or writing forced unintelligence) or deflecting because he doesn't want them to guess.

I have to run around and talk to everyone again 😭😭 I thought I'd get a level to play 😭😭 But it makes sense because we had back-to-back levels, and honestly, not mad about it because that's more tiny dialogue bits for characters I mostly like.

LAMO, I love Byleth's answers for this. Getting flustered about the "date," telling Yuri his smile doesn't reach his eyes (poor Claude isn't unique anymore), or just "not now." IDK which to pick, I think "not now" is funniest and lines up the most with what I've picked so far for Byleth.

Yuri's like, "meet me at midnight, alone." Either dude is thirsty or he should've added "unarmed and possibly drunk or drugged." I wouldn't trust Yuri father than I could throw him. And Yuri's not big, but I'm not even 5 foot so . . .

Sometimes when he's in a silly goofy mood, he blows his goat horn for the specific intent of annoying Martyn; consecutively if he knows Martyn is nearby.

He's a glowy dude. His green streak seems to shimmer when it hits the light justtt right.

Though he rejected Pearl, he is still undeniably worried for her safety, and not just as "well I'll die if she dies". Genuine concern. You can't pry their LL smp dynamic even from my cold dead hands...

Living his best cottagecore life with Cleo! They have frequent meetings where they just vibe and hang out and have a great time. And if it's a bad day where they're getting a lot of damage from their soulbounds, they talk it out with each other and they help each other get through the transmitted pain.

Scott is still holding the grudge of the first session of their souldbounds going off on their own, but between him and cleo, with the right words I think he'd be willing to take them back. It would be awkward as hell when they aren't trying to survive, but better this than your soulbound suddenly dying yknow?

It's Scott's chaotic arc guys! Not that he ever left it but it's definitely obvious here this time. He either comes up with either great ideas or bad ideas that metaphorically (and sometimes literally) blow up in your face in a funny way. No in between. He deserves that after everything.

Every now and then, he feels the phantom pain of his life ending from Last Life SMP due to unnatural it was. He worries that Pearl will feel it through their link.

Martyn

He bounces a lot between groups of other soulmates.

He hates Cleo. Cleo hates him. It's a match made in hell boys. Is still careful about taking damage but sometimes just out of spite he'll make her do all the healing.

He hopes emotional pain can't be felt through the soulbound link. Sure him and cleo hate each other now but... it still stings knowing you got rejected before could even happen.

Martyn feels like an unapologetic person. He only felt a smudge of hesitation before rejecting pearl and going off on his own. Unless it benefits him, i dont know if he'll even want to join up with pearl again, much less scott and cleo.

Ok but like. Totally freeloads off of the other soulmate pairs of the server. Man has become a travelling hobo.

Pearl

Not sure of what yet but I really want Pearl to girlboss just a bit too close to the sun.

She got herself a small quaint home for herself and tilly.

She starts to actively feel guilty when she takes damage and does make real attempts to try and lessen it.

Holding out a tiny bit of hope for the GGG's to make a reunion, no matter how miniscule.

Ok but also... red life GGG reunion and Pearl is the reason why. I will not elaborate.

Cleo

Unlike Scott she knows how to hold a grudge. Earning her trust when you've pre-emptively destroyed it is like trying to feed someone suspicious stew that definitely has poisonous properties and they know it.

Since the last life rule of red lives having to isolate themselves is gone, she'll definitely stick together with Scott if one of them goes red first. Why would she ever abandon the soulmate that SHE'S chosen?

She knows Martyn sometimes doesn't heal on purpose to piss her off and my god does it work. Scott has to keep her from going on a rampage and tearing martyn to pieces herself.

Her and scott made their own thing to represent their chosen soulmate thing; an idea she came up with. Maybe they made flower crowns and exchanged it. Maybe it's something much more meaningful because I'm not that big brain. I like the idea that they represented their soulmate thing their own way.

Alright, time to make good on my word. Here's my Blorpo superhero team.

Listed from physically weakest to strongest.

Columbo: Literally just a normal dude. Doesn't even carry a gun. As a result, he's constantly underestimated by their enemies and usually winds up finding the key detail needed to save the day.

Danny Phantom: His highest calc'd feat that I could find puts him at 533 tons of tnt. However, this feat was measured at the beginning of the series and given how fast Danny has shown to get stronger, it's likely he won't be that far behind for very long. Plus, his Intangibility, invisibility, and general ghost powers help make up for this handicap. He's also the second fastest on the team, clocking in at lightspeed due to the way ectoplasm works.

Raiden: 121 kilotons of tnt. Thankfully, his high frequency blades allow him to ignore conventional durability via vibrating through molecular bonds. Combine that with the fact that he's genuinely the best stealth operative on the team and he more than makes up for his position. He also the most aggressive, slicing the opponent to ribbons whenever they're they're trying to catch Danny or get past Steven's shields.

Steven Universe: 142 kilotons. Just barely above Raiden and arguably tied with him in terms of being the most skilled hand to hand. His shields and healing powers make him the most equipped for supporting his teammates on the battlefield.

Cole MacGrath: 1.8 gigatons. He's easily the heaviest hitter on the "regular" team, clocking in at thousands of times stronger than Steven. To put that into perspective, 1.8 gigatons is equal to 1800000 kilotons. Combine that with Cole's range and he's able to smite any major threat while far away from the action. He's both the heavy hitter and the big guy, a dangerous combination.

Steven Universe (Pink Mode and Gem Steven): 2.4 exatons. Steven, while shapeshited via Pink Mode, was able to completely no sell the powers of all four of the Diamonds and Gem Steven could blast a hole in White's ship just by screaming. His raw power is immense, more than capable of vaporizing opponents on Cole's level. Which, when combined with the trauma associated with these two modes, makes it incredibly unlikely that Steven would willingly use them unless he absolutely had to.

Kirby: Multiverse Buster. Kirby has been stated several times to have infinite power and has defeated a Master Crown empowered Magalor, who destroyed 15 entire universes upon being defeated. Also defeated Void Termina, who can casually create Master Crowns to use as weapons. Needless to say, Kirby isn't so much a member of the team as they are the big gun. The team only really calls on them whenever planet destroying or reality threatening gods show up.

Dynamic:

Steven and Raiden understand each other suprisingly well, given their shared history as child soldiers, experience with PTSD, and complicated parental history. That's not to say they get along necessarily, as Raiden is entirely too comfortable with murder compared to the highly pascifistic Steven. Raiden's idea of letting people live is cutting their arms off so they can't get in his way. They understand each other and that understanding leads to both respect and frustration.

Cole is generally the second most blaise about killing. He'll spare his enemies if he can, but he doesn't lose any sleep if any of those enemies die. Again, conflicting with the more morally principled Steven. Not so much Raiden. He gets wanting to both keep the blood on your hands to a minimum while also being willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Cole and Raiden have a soldier's mentality while Steven and Danny have more of a superhero's mentality of power and responsibility and all that.

Steven is the first person on the team that Danny told about his halfa status and Steven's the one who convinced him the rest of the team wouldn't care and would accept him regardless. Columbo somehow knew already. When asked, Columbo started a long boring story about his wife and Danny subconsciously tuned him out.

Both Columbo and Cole were honestly incredibly uncomfortable with the whole teenage superhero concept and were hesitant to work with Danny and Steven at first. Raiden assumed they were child soldiers at first and... to be fair that's not entirely inaccurate.

Cole and Danny bond over "future me is an asshole" stories.

Kirby is both loved and feared by everyone on the team. On the one hand, Kirby is indisputably the friendliest on the team. On the other hand, Kirby is basically an eldritch god. No one knows how to really feel about it.

Kirby is the one person on the team to have met Columbo's wife.

Columbo isn't underestimated. Everyone on the team has met enough extraordinary normal people to know that regular humans shouldn't be underestimated. Everyone mutually understands that he belongs nowhere near the fighting though. He's the detective who catches the criminal mastermind, not the superhero who beats them down.

Raiden assumes that Danny's powers are the result of his parents experimenting on him. He's still partly convinced the powers aren't entirely accidental even after Danny explains everything.

No one knows how this team got started. They just kinda kept bumping into each other while doing their own things and eventually agreed to team up whenever really important problems showed up.

Izuku Midoriya -

He always has munchies. Will be hunched over in the kitchen.

He’s noticeably calmer. This is the most relaxed you’ll ever see him.

Hates being groggy the morning after. So he only really smokes when he can sleep in the next day. He had only been smoking since he met you. So it’s still a taboo.

Midoriya is the type to reveal his deepest feelings high and completely on accident. He loves you and his friends so much.

He is so panicked when people green out. If you were to throw up he would genuinely pass out.

Overall weed experience - 7/10

Katsuki Bakugou -

Also a snacker. Him and Midoriya are fully able to empty a pantry.

Relatively shitty high. He is calmer but still on edge just enough that it’s not all that fun. Weed is like a last resort for him.

Zones out, will stare at the wall, and will scare the shit out of people.

Only smokes alone or with you, because he knows he can get unpredictable when he smokes.

Bakugou has a low tolerance and often times has coughing fits.

Bakugou is of course worried but he’s bakugou so. He will nag at you for greening out. Of course while giving you water and the care you need but he would still do it.

Overall weed experience - 2/10

Shoto Todoroki -

He didn’t start smoking until he met you and he honestly didn’t think he would like it. Being raised in a very anti-drug household he experienced it to not be as good as it was.

Super giggly when he’s high. The type to say ‘apple’ then sit back and laugh for like 5 minutes.

He isn’t one to go out of his way to get food but if you offer it to him, he will eat it all.

Todoroki ends up enjoying the fuzzy feeling a lot. So he smokes at least every weekend.

When he’s high with you, its a shit storm of laughter. You two bounce off of each others jokes until you can’t breathe.

You know how Edward reacts to Bella being pregnant, that’s what todoroki is like when you green out. He is zoned out and incredibly still.

Ochako Uraraka -

Honestly was scared of ouid, she decided to try it when she saw you and her friends having fun.

The first time she smokes she gets paranoid and starts to freak out.

The times after that you supervise her so she doesn’t FUCKING DIE

When she finally gets comfortable, she mainly ends up being sleepy. Snacks and then sleeps.

Definitely giggling to herself in a corner wondering what the fuck is going on.

Had a really bad experience but got comfy and now smokes every other weekend.

She isn’t panicked but she wouldn’t be sure what to do when someone greens out. She would try to help but it wouldn’t do much.

Just a zoned-out high.

Kind of just sits there looking focused.

He RARELY smokes, like once every 2-3 months.

The first time you green out, iida almost has an ‘I told you so moment’. He helps you and you do smoke again but not after a very long tolerance break.

Smoked before you, but just to vibe with sero and denki.

So maybe like once every couple weeks.

He’d probably purposefully catch you smoking, because he already knew you did, and wanted to invite you to seshes.

Now that you mutually smoke, you guys smoke together ALL THE TIME.

Like full on stoner type shit.

He is SO GIGGLY.

He is FUCKING GIDDY.

He’s like “oooo I luv uuuuu, I luv u so muchhhhh.”

MY BAE. MY SHAWTY. THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. Sero 🤤

He’s so incredibly nice and vibey when he’s high.

he’s JUST like a mom stoner. He is always loaded with snacks and drinks. He also does not judge you when you cough.

He has planned tolerance breaks and will get most of the group to do it with him. He is so worried when he finds out you or denki skipped one. The smoke seshes after are always the best though.

He always comes PREPARED for cuddles. His bed is unbelievably comfy and he’ll literally hold anyone who wants it.

He just loves the feeling of being high and his friends make it special.

He also low key gets on horny high spurts. Like a couple of days where it’s pure horndog then he’s good for like the rest of the week.

He is SO worried when people green out. Will hold your hair back and like force you to consume water.

Obviously he has faults and will smoke A LOT in between tolerance breaks. Is high at any chance he has UNLESS on a tolerance break.

Danganronpa messing up Nagito's character cuz apparently even they believe headcanons

Is it just me or is Danganronpa making Nagito worse?

Like at the start we have a socially intelligent and intuitive paranoid kid who hates despair and gets forced into a killing game that is filled with everything he hates and fears

So he clings desperately to hope as a coping mechanism to deal with everything

And then in the anime, we get a social outcast (for some reason even though people would've loved his hope talks like they did back in chapter 1 since no killing game happens and he is just speaking normally)

who bombs a school (forget his paranoia apparently) and nonchalantly allows himself to get out of the island and accidentally kill 40+ soldiers (again, ignoring his paranoia of his destructive luck cycle apparently)

And then in Danganronpa 2.5 we get a socially inept, clingy hope addict who apparently doesn't have boundaries?

(We seriously ignoring how much he pushes people away back in SDR2, is afraid of having friends due to his luck cycle, respects boundaries to the max, and how socially intelligent he is and his crazy empathy to know people's hopes and despairs?)

(And no even Mikan's motivations he understood, he knew she killed for despair because she literally killed for Junko, Mikan just says he doesn't understand because she doesn't count is as killing for despair, she counts it as killing for love)

And some of the fans defend this and says Nagito is hated or is supposed to have no boundaries because of his social ineptness or inability to properly socialize

Bruh, the guy is hated sure, but boy was he awesome at being a people-person and gathering people during chapter 1

He encouraged everyone with his hope talks and Hajime even kept simping for the guy because of his positivity

And due to the guy's CRAZY HIGH EMPATHY AND UNDERSTANDING, he is able to understand the hopes and despairs of almost every freaking character

He knew Teruteru wanted to continue the culinary legacy and help his mom, that's his hope

He knew Imposter would want to protect everyone no matter what, that's his hope

He knew Mikan killed for Despair, that despair being Junko Enoshima

He knew Fuyuhiko's hope is Peko and that both of them care about each other very much

He knew how similar he and Hajime are and how they are both bystanders and lovers of Hope, for Hajime that Hope being Hope's Peak academy itself and/or having talent

The guy is crazy with how well he knows people, and he is definitely not socially inept at all

He respects boundaries, is able to read the room and the only time he seems socially inept is when he is either trying to purposefully annoy someone to get a reaction or when he is too obsessed with his ideas with hope

The guy is obsessed with hope, yes, but he is not socially inept

That is seriously downgrading how much empathy he has and how much understanding he has for every character

And Nagito does have empathy, the reason why it seems like he doesn't is because he treats the dead people like stepping stones for hope

He does have empathy tho, and too much that it takes a toll on his mental health whenever he sees dead bodies, so he clings to hope in order to cope and tries to pretend that it's okay if people die because there is always hope

(basically, deniability at it's finest)

It's not that the guy doesn't care, it's that he does a little too much

Which is why he laughs, laughing for him doesn't mean he is happy, it means he is surprised (he says this in island mode)

And seeing that his greatest fears are seeing people die constantly because of his luck cycle, wouldn't be surprised that he laughs like crazy in a literal killing game

And laughing out of stress or fear isn't unheard of, I mean there is also a thing called nervous laughter

And jesus christ, CAN PEOPLE STOP TRYING TO USE FRONTOTEMPORAL DEMENTIA SYMPTOMS TO EXPLAIN HIM?

What I mean is, yes he has dementia or is at least diagnosed with it

And I believe that he probably does actually have dementia (not saying he could've lied tho but he could've still been misdiagnosed)

But that doesn't mean he has all of the symptoms

I don't think we can confirm if he does or doesn't have dementia because he might just not have all of the symptoms

But I do know that using the symptoms to explain his character isn't a good idea especially since it usually undermines who he actually is

Like, let me explain

Behavior and/or dramatic personality changes, such as swearing, stealing, increased interest in sex, or a deterioration in personal hygiene habits

- No, and no not even when the killing game started. Yeah sure he laughs now, but that's no different from how he is normally since laughing for him is what he does when he gets surprised or stressed. He doesn't change much in the killing game, he still believes in hope and everyone else, still respects boundaries, still have crazy high intellect and empathy, still pushes people away

Socially inappropriate, impulsive, or repetitive behaviors

- not really, again the guy is a freaking gentleman even during the killing game. He respects boundaries, reprimands Teruteru for sexual assault during chapter 1, pushes people away and distances himself from others, isn't at all impulsive (usually quite the opposite really), and is usually planning and tries to remain calm and composed throughout the killing game (struggling tho cuz yeah killing game)

Impaired judgment

- here, I kinda disagree. I wouldn't say that Nagito is entirely in the right with everything he does, but I understand his views. The guy knows that no one is truly a bad person in the killing game because everyone was forced into it. He knows that even the blackened escapes and everyone dies, it isn't fully a bad thing because that means someone escapes and goes back home to their loved ones while the killing game ends

If a blackened succeeds, the despair would be of course everyone else dying and the blackened going through a lot of trauma, but the hope would be the end of the killing game and the blackened going home or to their loved ones or to their goal in life or whatever

If the blackened dies, the despair would obviously be the blackened dying and the killing game still continuing, while the hope would be everyone else still alive

Nagito isn't exactly wrong in wanting to help the blackened as well, of course, Nagito would want him himself to be the victim so another person gets a chance at escape and no one else would be the victim

Sadly for Nagito, that time never comes

Nagito doesn't want others to be killed, he wants to sacrifice himself instead as the victim instead of everyone else

Apathy

- .....big no. Nonononono. The dude is anything but apathetic.

"Apathy is a lack of feeling, emotion, interest, or concern about something."

Seriously, being a dude who is constantly supportive of everyone and their hopes in life and how passionate this dude gets about hope and despair, and the fact that he is the most stressed 24/7 about something bad happening due to his luck, this guy is seriously anything but apathetic

Lack of empathy

- No. If the guy truly lack empathy he wouldn't need to use Hope desperately as a coping mechanism, wouldn't care about the ultimates and their hopes and despairs, wouldn't constantly be thinking about helping the ultimates and overcoming despair, wouldn't be the most stressed out of everyone, and definitely wouldn't be in love with Hajime or even act the way he did in chapter 1

Decreased self-awareness

- You don't actually understand why you act the way you do.

A good indicator that you lack self-awareness deals with how well you understand your emotions, actions, and behavior. People who lack self-awareness often feel constantly off-kilter, anxious, or angry.

This is not Nagito at all. The guy understands his emotions and behaviors which is why he is able to do the things he does and is able to conduct plans based on how much he understands his own self and capabilities. The guy is actually the most self-aware out of everyone, he knows about how people don't understand him and constantly misunderstand him and his intentions, he is aware constantly of his inability sometimes to properly explain his goals to people.

The guy has a lot of self-awareness and isn't afraid to take responsibility for his actions. Actually, it's because of how self-aware he is of his own self and his destructive luck cycle that he constantly blames himself for anything bad that happens.

The guy is seriously self-aware as hell and it's scary sometimes

Loss of interest in normal daily activities

- Nope, he hasn't shown any sign of apathy towards anything and is usually pretty hyped about doing daily activities. He is paranoid though on the daily because he fears for what his luck cycle might do

Emotional withdrawal from others

- Emotional withdrawal involves bottling up your emotions. It involves cutting out the people who could help us, because we're so used to rejection that we've learned to anticipate it. Because we've learned to disconnect from others, we develop other unhealthy coping mechanisms

Emotional withdrawal is defined as pulling back emotionally or physically by bottling up your feelings or disconnecting from others. Emotional withdrawal can be far more complex at times. It is comparable to a breakup, in every way but physical.

Kind of? Yes, he pushes people away, but he is still willing to spend time with people, especially Hajime, when they really insist. He politely pushes people away, but he isn't opposed to hanging out with people either though it is sometimes rare

Loss of energy and motivation

- .... I already said it before, the guy is full of motivation and energy and passion that it is scary sometimes

Inability to use or understand language; this may include difficulty naming objects, expressing words, or understanding the meanings of words

AND THE FUCKING ENGLISH WORDS HE USES ARE FANCY AND HIGH LEVEL AS FUCK THAT I FEEL SMART JUST READING THEM

Hesitation when speaking

- Definite no, the guy isn't afraid to voice his own opinions and never hesitates and can get very vocal about the things he is passionate about

Less frequent speech

- Again, definite hell no. I wouldn't be surprised if his voice lines are longer than the voice lines of everyone else combined

Distractibility

- Nope. The guy is focused on his goals constantly. No matter what he does, you can always be sure that it is for a certain goal. He pisses of Fuyuhiko? It was to get a reaction from him to confirm his suspicions about the true culprit. He lied about the rope? It was to see how Mikan would react and how the trial would go to confirm his suspicions about Mikan being the culprit?

The guy is focused like a damn soldier

Trouble planning and organizing

-.....do I seriously need to explain? This is Nagito we are talking about

Frequent mood changes

- Not really. He usually acts or reacts a certain way because something happened like someone died or something. He is actually pretty normal with how he acts and reacts and doesn't really change his mood rapidly that much

Agitation

- Yes and no? Sure the guy gets paranoid 24/7, but is still somewhat more chill than agitated to an extent. He is easy going and is just paranoid about what his luck would do, he is vigilant but not necessarily agitated

Increasing dependence

- No. The guy is independent to a fault and only relies on others when his plans call for it. He also usually does things of his own accord and rarely with a partner unless he really needs to or his goal is to help that person specifically, which knowing him is a usual thing

Unwillingness to talk

- Again, no. The guy talks a lot and while he pushes others away, he wouldn't turn down a conversation if the other person wanted one

Lack of inhibition or lack of social tact

- Again, no. The guy is a gentleman and respects boundaries and definitely gets stressed especially in the killing game. The guy is also paranoid 24/7 on a normal day due to his luck cycle

Obsessive or repetitive behavior, such as compulsively shaving or collecting items

- No? Sure he clings to hope but that is more of a coping mechanism. If he isn't in a stressful situation like a killing game he doesn't get that obsessive as much about hope since he doesn't need to desperately cling to it as a coping mechanism

Unusual verbal, physical or sexual behavior

- No? He isn't at all like this. It isn't unusual to panic or use a coping mechanism desperately when in a situation like a killing game, and he doesn't do anything unusual like this when it's a normal day. Sure the guy gets paranoid, but that's it

Weight gain due to dramatic overeating

- No? Actually, I don't really know how much weight he gains to be honest so idk

My main point here is, yes there is a chance Nagito does actually have dementia, but using the symptoms as a way to explain his character undermines who he actually is and can cause a lot of misunderstandings of his character

Especially since I remember being told that they only added in dementia to his character backstory a little late during his character development and creation

It isn't a good idea to use his symptoms because it usually gets his character wrong and sometimes makes them excuse a lot of the things he has done

The guy is self-aware, isn't socially inept, is a gentleman, and socially intelligent as hell

And I really hate how even Danganronpa itself seems to forget that

It's like they forgot who Nagito is, to begin with
