💭 What is it?

This is a guide both for those in the Daydreaming Community, or want to learn more about it. It is meant to be an archive of all things relating to MaDD & ID, and is curated/run/owned by yours truly!

💭 Can I link this on my blog/post/etc?

Yes!! The whole reason this doc was made was so that it can be passed around as a general resource, so you are more than welcome to link it anywhere you want. The same goes for anything linked within the doc itself -- not that I own any of it anyway lol.

💭 Can we give suggestions?

Suggestions are highly encouraged & appreciated! I am only one person running this doc, after all, and will not be able to uncover/document everything without some help. You can send me stuff through DMs or my ask box.

💭 What happened to the original doc?

EDIT 3/27/24: the original document had gotten marked as spam by Google. This issue has now been resolved, and it's back up & running! The backup will remain, but not updated as often as the main doc will be. Sorry, I know it's a huge mess 😖 links have been updated to the main/original doc.

I wish I knew! It was brought to my attention that it had gotten flaged for review for...some reason. I've tried figuring out how to request a review for it, but it won't work. So I've resorted to just making a new doc. Sucks, but that's all I can do right now.

Because this is a whole new doc, I'm going to be tagging some people so the word gets spread a little bit. Sorry!

Hello and welcome to my daydream blog, my name is Ash but you can call me Peach or whateves, here on this blog I post about the inner machinations of my mind and try to make them less of an enigma both for myself and whoever happens to stumble across this blog.

I really like media and making my own stories with characters from said media or with completely new characters that come up with myself, most of my stories are silly and lighthearted with moments of heavy events here and there but they dont last long, I also like throwing in some romance or cute and friendly interactions between my paras, emphasis on the words CUTE and FRIENDLY because as a demisexual, I doubt things are gonna get too hot and heavy, it's mostly gonna be cuddling, a few kisses, light teasing--nothing too risky.

Along with my own paracosm and para content, I'll also be posting cool daydream stuff from others in the daydreaming community, while I do use MaDD terminology, I'm more of an immersive daydreamer than a maladaptive daydreamer, I try not to overstep my bounds with it comes to using MaDD terms, I fully respect and support my MaDD homies

(also my dyslexia is a shadow that haunts me in my room, so bewarb)

Ask anything and everything related to one of my paracosms and I'll tell you what can about it, even if it's a paracosm I haven't talked about in a while my brain does this weird thing where it just needs a jumpstart to go on and on about a certain topic that once held my interest..

🥧= Humble Pie, a former bully turns to his hometown, and feels incredibly guilty for his past actions, and tries to make amends while at the same time he befriends (and falls for) the new nerdy girl in town

🌆= Casual Nexus, a sandbox paracosm where my parame hangs out with cool paras from my favorite shows, games, books, and movies, they roam around town looking for cool, fun stuff to do

🏘️=Homecoming, Vanessa travels back to her old town that she built by herself when she was 8, she left the town in the hands of one of her favorite citizens and wants to visit again. On the ride there she bumps into a lost boy who seems disoriented he talks about how he came from a void of nothingness and wants to find an old friend he had made before everything vanished. Vanessa suspects she can help out the lost boy find his friend in her old town...

☕= Honey Love Love, a Hetalia based paracosm, set in a cafe AU, All the countries work at cafe that's in need of help, the owner seeks out help from a new girl in town named Indigo, an aspiring pastry chef, will Indigo be able to work on her culinary craft or will she be too busy falling in love?

🌌=Portal House, Brooke was planning to spend her college years traveling the world, but when she misses her flight to Europe, she comes across a mysterious cat who leads her to an even more mysterious house filled with doors, intrusted with both the cat and a ring of keys, will be Brooke able to finally have the adventure she's been looking for?

🌼 = The Floating Isle, a sandbox paracosm, set on a floating island where my parame is free to terraform as much as she likes, while taking care of the animals on the island, doing some baking and a few picnics here and there as well.

Paracosm Map Challenge!

Hey! Pixy here! If you immersive daydream, are a part of the MaDDer community, or are, as I call it, a paracosmonaut, you should check out the Local Paracosm Travels Map!

If you have a paracosm that takes place on Earth, an alternate version of Earth, or in a place that has an earthly equivalent, please feel free to put a pin in to mark your travels!

Leave as many pins as paracosms you have! Just label them with your paracosm's name (if it has one!) and feel free to leave any description you want! You don't have to know exacts (one of mine is just ~Scandinavia~ since it takes place in a parallel dimension and I can't decide on a particular city) And please, if you can, tag others and pass on the map so that our community can try and fill it out!

It’s all coming together 🌸

So, with things moving along - I’m hoping to have St. Agatha City’s demo out by the end of the year at the latest - which admittedly is a little more difficult with my job (which I am very grateful for, but still) I’d like to talk a bit more about the upcoming features and my creative process! Normally, I kind of worry this sort of thing may be considered, well… with a little ire? I followed the YanDev thing and I do not want to pull a whatever that is.

However, excluding my week long break in July, I have been spending three hours a day, as I promised myself I would, on St. Aggs as usual, and since I have a grand total of 14 followers (ily guys, thank you so much 💕) and have not yet taken anyone’s money, I’m allowed to gush a little about future ideas, right?

I’m going to post concept art, ideas, and my mechanic workshopping a little more, especially during my editing phases of St. Aggs :)) I have a bunch of ideas for the future, both the finished base game, and DLCs, and having your reactions would probably be pretty helpful ^^

As such, please expect:

🎀 A series of posts discussing the purposes of the side characters (Nazir, Bailey, Giv, Eddie, etc. there’s quite a few who will be included in the polished base game that you haven’t met yet! Especially if you aren’t familiar with my characters from my art and daydreaming blog, @maddgicalgirl!)

🎀 Discussing the source materials of the main cast, how that affected them, and how I adapted it for St. Agatha (both art wise and reconciling canon) - as all of the featured characters originate from stories I have written who I decided to throw into a dating sim 💖

🎀 Showcasing and workshopping nonspoiler features, like the inventory and inventory items, as I develop them

🎀 and, of course: Proper character intros as I begin making the required steps in Sprite artwork, CGs, and story progressions!

Thanks for looking at him. My Claggor post is officially my most popular art! This isn’t an Arcane blog (though arguably my main, @chainsawgirlfriend is haha) this is my art and game dev blog where I’m working on developing my visual novel, St. Agatha City. However, I couldn’t not celebrate. So, here’s Powder congratulating Clag on his accomplishment! I loved their dynamic ;-; he is such a good big brother.

Push Ups

In a recent daydream, Hero! Beau and Dev took in a robot they found on the side of the road, he was pretty banged up but Dev was able to put him back together and get him working again. The robot's name is Luvi (pronounced like LOVEY), he was a companion robot built to be a friend (kind of like BMO)....

He's based on the real companion bot called Lovot

Also to make sure he's in shape, Beau like to test his strength by doing 50 push-ups with everyone in the house on his back (one by one), since Luvi recently joined the party he decided to try it out with him, and well...

This comic is HEAVILY is inspired by this really cute star wars comic (x)
