Souleater Au where Eddie is a meister and Steve is a weapon.

Steve comes up to Eddie on day one of school and basically tells him that he's going to be Eddie's weapon. Eddie takes one look at Steve's preppy, uptight everything and basically says "pass".

He comes to deeply regret this when they do their presentations with the whole freshman class and Steve turns into the most badass greataxe/electric guitar he's ever seen.

He begs Steve to take him back but he turns up his nose at the offer, saying he'll find someone else.

Steve cycles through a bunch of different meisters but none of them are ever completely in tune with him. Meanwhile, Eddie has been trying to win Steve over this entire time, showing off his guitar skills and strength at every opportunity, never trying to pair with another weapon unless it's mandatory for class.

At the end of every week he asks Steve if he's changed his mind, and every week Steve says no he hasn't and Eddie leaves a little dejected but determined to try until Steve picks a permanent meister.

In the end, Steve agrees to give him one try. If they can soul resonate on the first try then Steve will agree to be his weapon, if not he'll keep looking and Eddie will leave him alone.

Much to Steve's eternal annoyance, they resonate almost instantly.

I've noticed I've started to like songs from Jazz a lot more than I used to. That used to be one of my least favourite albums, but I've listening to more songs from it again and I realised songs I thought I didn't like as much I really do like.

I think the main reason I haven't been listening to them as much is because it's one of the albums I don't have on CD or record and I listen to my CDs a lot.

I used to not care about Dreamers Ball, regretfully, but now I love it. I think it's probs my second fav song at the moment.

And I've had In Only Seven Days stuck in my head all morning, but it's only 7:30am so that's not really saying much

Summary-

She had eyes like starlight and a grin that could outshine the moon, "We'll rule the world."

"What if we fail?"

"Then we'll burn it all down."

In hindsight maybe it could only have ever ended like this. Making a man who was never made to rule, High lord. This was all inevitable.

With his Court in ruins and everyone gone, Tamlin lives amongst the broken pieces of his Court and has no intentions of changing that. Lucien, however, will not stand to leave his oldest friend alone.

When Lucien takes Tamlin back to the human lands, they discover a darkness coming for Prythian. If something does not stop it, it will completely rewrite the way Faeries and humans alike live as they know it.
