HOW I THINK C!DREAM SMP CHARACTERS WOULD REACT IF THEY FOUND OUT YOU SELF-HARMED!

Dream ☆ he'd be shocked at first, why would you do that to yourself? ☆ then that shock would seep into his brain and try to convince him that you were trying to leave him. ☆ "why would you do that to yourself? do you not love me?" ☆ it's like a fight in his head between two sides of himself. that little voice that tells him you're trying to escape from him, and the other wants to lock you up in a tower forever so you can never leave his sight.

Technoblade ☆ he understands, though he'd harbour some guilt for not catching on quicker. ☆ the voices would overwhelm him and try to convince him to go after the people who made you feel that way, but he pushed them to the side as he needed to comfort you first and foremost. ☆ he's not the utmost best at comforting people, but he can offer his presence and his time. ☆ he most likely starts paying extra attention to you and leaves you small things around the house, like maybe putting a journal on your bedstand or leaving you a few items he knows you like.

Wilbur ☆ feels like it's his fault (most likely because of how focused on L'Manburg he is) no matter how much you try to convince him otherwise. ☆ starts becoming overbearingly protective of you, like one of Tommy's jokes would hurt your feelings (spoiler, they don't) ☆ eventually he just breaks down in your arms about how he doesn't want to lose you. ☆ plays you songs when you're upset about something so you can keep your mind off things. ☆ he's so used to being in control and the self-assured guy everyone can rely on, it's something he never took into consideration that you'd be going through. ☆ somehow losing you seems far worse than losing the war.

I've always admired Y/n. I did then, and I still do.

Since I first saw her at the locker next to me in sophomore year, something just, clicked inside of me. At first, I originally saw her as a locker-hallway crush only, until classes got changed due to a teacher leaving. Suddenly, the hallway-locker crush turned into same-classes crush. For some odd reason, the teachers would also often pair us in the same partners and groups, and we would sit near or next to each other sometimes. I kind of just played it off as pure luck on my part.

I would see y/n in about 90% of my classes, but we were assigned permanent partners one day in English for the rest of the year. I got to talk way more to her in class, and we even hung out a few times. I eventually did get her number and we started to hang out more, but not just for study sessions. We eventually had a really strong friendship, but I still admired her.

Time skip, but one of my friends who was dating y/n's best friend told me that y/n actually liked me back, and she had for a while. At first I didn't believe him, until y/n texted me to meet up at the stargazing hill we always went to and told me she liked me.

After that, we started dating. I started my Twitch and YouTube around then, and started blowing up very quickly. Y/n was always there to support me and what I wanted to do, and I was eventually invited to the Dream SMP, which also quickly raised my following and reputation even more. When I got an invitation from Toby and Tommy to meet them in the UK, Y/n also came with me. She's always been at my side, streamer or not.

I spinned my chair slightly to the left, focusing my eyes on the other monitor that showed StreamLabs and the chat. I scanned my eyes over the chat, and a few messages caught my eye.

I sighed loudly enough for the microphone to pick up. I looked back over to chat and saw moderators turn off chat to send a warning message and put it chat onto "emotes only" mode.

I laughed. "The fact some of you guys are so confident in stealing y/n from me is actually very funny." I stared into the webcam. "Y/n is my girl, nor does she even want any of you all."

Let's just say y/nboo and that clip was trending on Twitter for a little while.

OH IT WOULD BE CHAOTIC BUT AT THE SAME TIME SO FUN AND HILARIOUS

So the thing is- Cala could go horrible Dungeon Master mode and win the game quickly by making them be level 1 and letting them fight tarrasques. That would be easy right? But no- Cala is very fair in what she wants to do. She could rig it up SO EASILY, but she knows if she does then it would give Quackity all the more reason to do it on his end as well as Sam. So she would make it fair and very balanced.

She would definitely help with making their characters. Like genuinely help them sort it out and make sure they’re not cheating on their end as well. It would lead to her having to redo Sam’s sheet because he would make his character overpowered.

Quackity and Sam i feel would make characters that are very similar to them but not actually them- and Cala would allow that uwu

Sam would definitely be a Paladin and Quackity would be a Rogue. :3

Quackity would attempt to cheat though first session in by bringing a loaded set of dnd dice- very custom made and beautiful with the 1 being a duck and a 20 being :]

However Cala would remedy that problem quickly by saying that they have to use dice that is in the dice bucket she has. And it’s just how it sounds- a bucket full of dice.

Quackity would try to convince her and she would immediately just, ���oh if you want these dice to be put Into play then i Can use them then!! :3”

That makes him use the bucket.

First session is a classic dnd quest: helping a town with their giant rat problem. It’s something simple of Cala would make them think outside the box. As well as that Cala would sprinkle some in game lore here and there, but not too much.

Cala gets very serious when she DMs. She isn’t a scary dm but she really gets into the role of telling her story. She usually would be very spacey or fidgety but it all goes away when she’s in the middle of explaining the story.

Quackity would think it’s just a one time session- all they have to do is beat this quest and that’s it— but that’s when Cala would pull in a cliffhanger of a bigger problem right at the end of the session and she just smiles and goes: “Well- that’s the first session! So same time next week?”

Quackity would immediately be surprised and ask what she means and she explains that this isn’t a one time thing- just because they passed one quest doesn’t mean they won the whole game. So until they beat basically the main storyline she made then no one has won yet.

Sam immediately would understand what she meant, and she’s right- the terms were if either of them won the game and them beating the first quest only helped a small bit with their goal. They still have a long way to go!

So they would play dnd weekly- or biweekly since Cala is busy. And Cala also made Quackity agree to the terms that neither Sam or him can torture Dream in between sessions. I feel like that would be in exchange for Cala making the session balanced. This also means Cala would drag it out as long as possible. Because she knows what she’s doing.

Obviously it would get harder the more she plays with them- she would make it more difficult; make puzzles, riddles, any solution that would be different to the actual one. And also some of the quests as well as the npcs are a bit… familiar to Sam and Quackity.

Like an alcoholic satyr who is the leader of a country that’s on the midst of a revolution.

Or a triton who loves to build and is the demigod of the sea and lightning.

Not all of them are like that, but she defintiely sprinkled some familiarity with them. They would either love it or hate it.

And if you think Cala would ignore the backstories the two made for their characters, even if they were poorly made, you have another thing coming because she would adapt those stories and manage to put them into the session seamlessly.

Cala loves to tell stories no matter what, and she does her best even in this situation where her and Dream’s lives are on the line.

I feel like Sam and Quackity would have a guilty pleasure of doing this- like they enjoy it but they’re salty that they are. Quackity would try and rig the game up and Sam would try and intimidate Cala but she usually doesn’t take their shit.

It would genuinely be a 50/50 on if Cala would win or Quackity at the end too- but she would make it fun and make it last as long as possible.

okay my brain came up with the idea “c!dream kidnaps c!tommy for… obvious reasons and c!delulu to use as leverage against c!quackity and hurt her further and c!tommy has to try and keep a terrified child calm in a hostage situation (c!delulu is the hostage c!tommy is not for trade ☺️) while actively facing the trauma of his abuser, c!delulu has been kept isolated from c!dream and has no idea he’s actually as dangerous as he is and is mostly just confused (c!tommy deliberately keeps pissing c!dream off to keep the worst of his Behaviour onto him), and c!tntduo Scheme because c!dream did the exact thing that’d piss them off the most and that’s how they get revenge” how tf did my brain turn c!delulu into angst

So I’ve been thinking quite a bit ab this.

I can’t in good conscience support Dream, so I’ve been considering rewriting my fic to take him out of it (which wouldn’t take a whole lot of editing, and it’s not centered on him anyway)

I want to hear others’ thoughts on this decision

Well let me tell you, we have 25 traffic series art pieces, 30 dream smp, 7 empires, fully FIFTY hermitcraft art pieces, 5 lifesteal pieces, one each from MCSR, naked and afraid, scenario SMP, sleep deprived smp, smpearth, sos smp, and witchcraft smp, 2 from pirates smp, 9 from QSMP, and 3 from ygoscast.

There are fantasy aus, space aus, "this guy is an android", "these guys are a boy scout troop", pern au, parkour civilization, amongus, homestuck, sentient weapon au, selkie, my little pony, flower fairy, cowboy, late night tv, modern mafia, dark monarchy, reincarnation, mermaid, college au— and I assure you I have just scratched the surface of what is in this spreadsheet.

We have two needlecraft art pieces, 3 videos, 1 cosplay, 1 game, 2 music pieces, 1 animatic, 1 minecraft data pack, 1 minecraft map, 5 web weaves, and a LOT of digital and traditional art. People have made reference sheets. Comics. Headshots. There is SO MUCH. 145 art pieces from all over MCYT ready to go. The artists have been working for a month to make fantastic art pieces depicting their favourite AUs, ready to inspire a fic, and boy have they delivered, and now it's time to sign up and go ME, I want to write something with THAT art. Propaganda : its so big. Its so so big. Look at a map of the dsmp. Its just a black void bigger than l'manburg was. You look at it and you just know it's something terrible. the obsidian walls, lava, the iron. It's just there. In the middle of the ocean. It does not fit in and its scary. the AMOUNT of redstone and functions it go is AMAZING. the only way to enter is through a portal that then leads u to the nether and has to be manually activated again by the warden. So to enter you literally NEED the wardens permission. All the bridges and all the door. It's so fucking cool man what can I say. The amount of security. the lore that happened inside pandora as well. Pandoras arc was the best arc of the whole of dream smp and I stand by that. There is so so much to unpack. Sam and Dream could have just built some shitty obsidian box and called it a prison, but no they made PANDORAS VAULT

The Prison of the Iron Crocodiles:

Contained : ForgeLabs, unsortedguy, okrobert

Series : Scenario SMP

Propaganda : A work of tactical mastery and raw function. Sean's team only had three people including himself, whereas every other kingdom had around 10 players. In order to even the playing field, Sean's plan essentially involved using the rules of the Scenario to their full potential -- players were not allowed to break blocks while in enemy territory, so anyone dropped into the pit trap contained in the castle's gates would be stuck and forced to drop their weapons and armor or risk being murdered by a very angry crocodile. Was a working prison for quite some time, including being used to hold one of the rival leaders and more than one of his people hostage for a good amount of time. It's probably not much to look at compared to some of the other builds here, but it made up one of the central tactical plot points of the entire GoT scenario. The ripple effect of this prison being built can't be understated -- its usage completely reshaped the political and tactical landscape of the server. ...I mean, Forge didn't win, but it still reshaped the way he lost. Also it was just a very cool tactic.

obviously the dream smp's ending doesn't matter and wasn't Meant to matter, we can do whatever we want.

But It's Still Insane To Think About.

wilbur left tommy alone on that beach On Purpose, knowing full well that dream had already abused and Killed tommy before. and we have to assume that he thought that dream just. Wouldn't do that. we have to Assume that wilbur genuinely didn't realize that tommy was in danger. because no matter how ridiculous that assumption Feels, how ridiculous it makes his character Look, we know he wouldn't have done that knowingly.

and then tommy died.

and then tommy did something Worse than die.

He Was Fully Reset. every memory he had of wilbur, of their life, every hand print that wilbur had left on him. Gone In An Instant.

And Wilbur Wasn't There.

wilbur is going to keep living while tommy is trapped in this cycle without him.

he's going to grow old, to live a life, To Change. and tommy won't. tommy Never Will. because he's trapped in a Literal cycle, being Reset no matter what.

either wilbur never sees tommy again, or he Does. and both of those scenarios are a tragedy.

in all the ways that matter tommy is dead.

at Least if tommy had been allowed to simply die he would've been able to Remember wilbur. at least they could've found each other in the afterlife somewhere in infinity.

I just had a though about Doomsday trio and it's making me sad - so I'm inflicting it on ya'll too. (Pardon the rambling)

Something something - Dream for a lot of the SMP was valued for the fact that he had resources and power. He had the TNT he had the armor, and even his relationship with George ended up where it was mostly about the things he could give to him - first the crown and then the armor. And how once he exhausted his resources... people abandoned him. Like even in Prison, Quackity only valued Dream's life because of the revival book - no one would care if Dream himself died (he burned those bridges long ago).*well except for Sam, but that's a whole other can of worms

So immortality/longevity makes it so that attachments to places or objects is not really a thing - and I mean this in the sense of if you lose all your riches or your house/castle you have more than enough time to amass more and rebuild, (it'll suck - but there's time). The loss mostly comes from the people you've met in your lifetimes, because they're not replaceable.

So I've imagined a scenario where... Dream does question his relationship/value to Techno, and by proxy Phil. Because why would they care, once Techno has the info for the prison - Dream has nothing else to offer. Would they leave Dream imprisoned. And why shouldn't they? Even the revival book (if we're looking at the angle of Immortal and Married to Death) isn't really something that necessary to Phil and Techno. Does Dream himself have value, or is it only what he can bring to the table? And of course Phil and Techno have no need for any of what Dream is offering, they never really did.

And I think that's why I find their dynamic (in AU) so interesting - because they have everything Dream could/now can't offer... and they still care about him. How would that turn Dream's views on himself and the value of his time on it's head?

not to have a moment but like. what did dream expect? how could he not think that announcing that his idea for the exact same server concept after quackity’s giant project has just started would look awful? when quackity is a spanish-english streamer who is deeply and personally connected to this concept, and dream is just like... mmm how about we do six languages! because that’s more than two!

especially because like, as far as everything has ever proved, there can only be one popular smp at a time (hc and adjacent being its own thing). there just isn’t room for multiple successful smps, both in how much time streamers have to split, and how much viewership can be split between different servers. there will always be one smp that comes out clearly on top (smplive, smpearth, then dsmp have been the top dogs). and it takes a lot for a new server to really succeed! luck and planning and the right people and time!

so for dream to just bulldoze through that and try to announce a competitor is absolutely a “play stupid games, win stupid prizes” scenario. if you wanted everyone to be friends, maybe you shouldn’t have announced a nearly identical version of your “friend”’s server days after people started playing on his.

also, since I’ve seen some qsmp fans upset-

as someone from a server that went through similar nightmare internal fuckery and that having wild consequences on the story except this time we’ve got the baggage of one of the main writers being an abuser and sex pest- things have only been like 100% better ever since the server full stop ended. like, was deleted from existence. idk what’s going on fully with your guys stuff but like i promise you. the dream smp fanbase only got better with the death of the dream smp and i promise you. in the worst case scenario the qsmp over forever no more it’s literally deleted. the fandom will still exist. the ccs will still interact and talk about their storylines. there will be more and more fanart and fanfic produced with the full knowledge of the plot now. genuinely this is fine. y’all didn’t even have to end it on “actually maybe you should kill yourself if you’re traumatised that’s probably best” like we fucking did you’re probably in for a better ride genuinely don’t panic.

Hello, everyone! In this post I shall explain the basics of what text roleplay is and how to do it. Many people nowadays are interested in roleplay, but have either had minimal experience with it or have only roleplayed with bots before. This post is the very basics which might help you on your journey!

What is Roleplay?

Roleplay is a process in which you pretend to be someone else, a character. You mimic them, describe their actions or talk as if you are them.

Roleplay is not a new thing at all, I mean, take play pretend games as an example. I'm sure most people have played doctor or a family or even just made scenarios with their toys.

Kinds of roleplay.

Roleplay can take on many different forms, including but not limited to:

Text-based roleplay

This is the type that our group is focused on. Text-based roleplay is essentially like writing a book with someone else. You write out your character's actions, they write out their character's actions in response to yours. Your characters interact and a story is made.

Tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPG)

This kind mixes tabletop games and roleplay. Depending on the game, rules can be very different, but the gist is that you describe your character's actions and other people describe theirs. Tabletop game mechanics are used in situations that are uncertain, for example to check if your character managed to jump over a ravine or not.

Live-action roleplaying games (LARP)

This type has you not only describing your characters actions, but actually acting them out. You can dress up as your character and act out situations with others. This is the most involved roleplaying game type, essentially.

Examples of text-based roleplay.

"Theory is theory, but how do I actually do it? How do I roleplay?" - I hear you ask me. And I shall provide. Let me show you an example of a short text roleplay. For this example, the first person who's roleplaying will be blue and the second red.

- Luna is running through a dense forest. She saw something, something in the treeline. The girl doesn't look back at the creature, she's too scared to. Suddenly, Luna runs into someone, knocking them to the ground.

- Alex was definitely caught off guard by the girl. He was simply hiking and then, a moment later, he got pinned to the ground by this madwoman!

"What the hell?! Are you crazy?!" - He shouts at her, scooting away.

He grabbed his white and blue cap that fell off when he got tackled and got up from the ground.

- "I- I'm sorry there's just a- a monster-" - she stuttered out.

Luna got up from the ground quickly, brushing dirt off of her jeans. She didn't have much time before that thing will catch up to them.

"You need to come with me, come on!"

The girl grabbed Alex by his hand and started running again, pulling him along with her.

Hope that made things a little clearer! Writing styles and uses of punctuation may vary, but that's the gist of it!
