Ok, correct me if I'm wrong or just answer this question but did Tommy know the full context of what Quackity was doing for torture or did he just know Quackity was torturing Dream?

Cause I recently saw the clip where Dream went on the whole rant of "I'm going to make your life a living hell" and I saw that Tommy seemed confused at Dream mentioning that Quackity was torturing him? Less so about it happening and more so that it had an impact?

Like, torture is something that has happened on the server before, it's something that even Tommy himself has done, but it was more so treated as a bit usually. The only exception I can remember other then Dream is Connor. So did Tommy know or find out the full context?

Did he he know it was every day for months? Did he know it wasn't stuff like water boarding but with stuff like axes and shears? Did he know the full context or did he just know that torture was happening?

I don’t think it would have changed much story wise since after Wilbur was revived he didn't really get time to think about shit, if he did I think we would have had a revist to that "Wilbur is worse then Dream" comment Tommy made after he got out of prison. Along with the likely realisation that "Hey, Dreams manipulation in exile was eerily similar to what Wilbur did in Pogtopia", I was so close to getting that when Tommy compared the two during the Burger Van arc.

I know Tommy was aware of it, I distinctly remember Quackity told him, I just don't remember what was said. Did he know the full context, also what was his initial reaction in general cause I don't remember that either and for the life of me I can't find the damn clip.

(Also just for some context, the reason I'm asking this is because I'm writing a couple fics where Tommy's reaction to the full context of Dreams torture is important and I need to know if I need to go more canon divergent then I already am.)

The prisoner wasn’t moving. The collar around its neck was pressed firmly against it’s windpipe. It looked uncomfortable. Like it was choking, yet it made very little noise or movement. It seemed to begin to pass out, forcing the tension on the metal to lessen. It stared ahead, listening to voices that weren’t there and feeling the hands of ghosts. It coughed up black, and the blood poured out into disgusting globs on the floor at its feet. Even then it didn’t seem to be panicked. It only lowered itself to the ground slowly. It was perfectly methodical. Each movement was timed as if by some grand puppet master was conducting them.

It sat down silently on the ground and picked up a pen, staring at the implement for a moment as if considering before beginning to carve into the soft meat of its arm. It shoved the pen deep, ink and blood mixing in a poetic display. He stabbed deep into the flesh, deep enough that the blood still poured down their arm. It was thick and viscous, a disgusting display of thick running blood. He pulled the pen out and set it on the ground, pressing his thumbs into the open wound as it spasmed, the magic trying to close itself around the intrusion.

It did not move as the pain flushed over it. It did not flinch as the pain washed in wave after wave as it manually rolled its vein, the fragile tissue popping under his thumb like a water balloon. The blood spurted out, hitting the man in the face and getting into its mouth. Its eyes only twitched as it was bathed. After a moment of the shocks of pain rolling over it in overwhelming waves, it removed its hand from the arm, allowing the wound to close fully. It took barely a moment to collect itself before it stood and calmly approached the clock hanging on the far wall, it picked it up and chucked it into the lava, turning to the camera then to address the Warden.

“Sam!! SAM!!!”

Sometimes I think about this dialogue between c!Sam and c!Techno

"Why did you help Dream to escape?"

"Why were you torturing him?"

His first thought was about c!Dreams torture, not anything else, not even the favor, and it was said with a sadness in his voice

he consistently brought up the torture!

some people think c!techno didn't care because he made jokes about it to c!dream and it feels like such a deep disservice of how kind he was and how good he was at reading people. he knew what dream needed.

and to everyone else, he jumped to point out the torture! it was the first thing he mentioned when talking to phil about why they needed to break dream out and he brought it up at least twice that i remember to sam.

hell, even before that, he was clearly wary of dream's treatment in the prison and pointed out how it would impact someone!
