I saw a tiktok about Ron yelling at Hermione and embarrassing her in public (he would never), and Draco punching him in the face and I am so. Tired.

Like. We’ve already established that once Ron is committed to his relationship with Hermione, he’s peak husband material. He’s lovely. Househusband extraordinaire. But the idea of Draco Malfoy beating him up???

I like Draco as much as the next person, but we need to acknowledge that he’s a lil bitch. Every time he pisses someone off, he eats shit. Ron beats that twink into the ground on the regular. Come on people, let’s be real.

Things about Manacled by Senlinyu that randomly come to mind:

Hermione conjured a patronus so powerful that A. It changed form B. it nearly took the *entire* British population of dementors.

And the memory that allowed her to produce this? Draco whispering to her in the dark of night that she didn't have to be be lonely, that he was going to take care of her, and Hermione saying it back over and over.

The runes may have fuelled Draco's already possessive and obsessive nature but that patronus was all Hermione's conviction for him and them.

(8th year) How I view their dynamic

They grow to like each other after being forced to work together for a several month long project

They love to banter and are often seen spending time together in the library or walking hand-in-hand by the lake

smart Draco. Hermione enjoys researching and debating with him

They still fight ofc. It can be explosive

but they make sure not to leave it brewing for too long to affect their relationship

The type of couple who'll peck each other on the lips before storming off in separate directions after an argument lol

They hug each other extra hard once they make up, probably even cry a bit.

The whole school breathes a sigh of relief now that they don't have to deal with an irate Hermione and a sulky Draco patrolling the halls and taking away everyone's points for the littlest thing.

Manacled: an astounding & dark story (fanfic) by the dearest @senlinyu; and this marvelous trailer is simply heartwrenching. The end of this story ruined me. Full of hope and life and the after effects of all that they went through.

i just finished reading manacled for the 4th time and i am broken. this time it was chronologically. i have no words it hurts just as bad (if not worse) every time i reread it (not to mention the pain of reading all the chapters in order oh my god)

I don’t understand why she looked at me like she was going to fucking cry. What did she expect? She knows who I am. It’s not like we were ever friends.

She needs to leave me alone before someone gets hurt. She needs to stop acting like this is all a silly game—like life is some giant fucking snowball fight. What’s going on is bigger than some waste-of-time schoolyard game.

You can play with snow. Snow melts and disappears. But blood? Blood sets and stains. It sets us apart. It leaves permanent marks. And it's inevitably on the horizon.

After all, this is war.

The Wail (Short Fiction)

This one.

THIS ONE.

Dramione Short story.

It starts low and gradually builds in volume before it drags out in one long wail of something terrible. Its frightening and heart breaking. A pillow over her head before she stuffs cotton into her ears. And still, it does nothing to drown out the echo residing inside of her. And so it is with a sense of dread and determination that Hermione finally jumps from her bed. She throws on her coat, her slippers and stuffs her hands into her pockets as she leaves the warmth of her home.

A bit of a ghost story. A bit of a love story. A lot of both.
