Never forget the Great Cats Kittencourse of 2019 where everyone was harassing and screaming at people for including the kittens in shipping and then one person tried to tell everyone to stop shipping Tugg/offelees because Misto wasn't an adult (per Jacob Brent) and everyone else on the crusade just ignored them and pretended it never happened because then they'd have to admit it's all just stupid ship wars at some level but they had to make themselves feel important and superior.

God, going through my blog for the tag over-haul and I just....

Motherfucking Cats fandom.

My friends and I privately complain about people harassing and threatening us and accidentally misgender someone (with immediate correction) and it gets a callout post with lots of notes and people dogpiling on and harassing us, and continuing to stalk our blogs and spread lies about us years later and another fucking server infiltration because they're not content to just chase us into privacy.

An anti openly harasses a CSA survivor, including sexual harassment, and no one fucking cares when people try to talk about it. It gets no notes.

Years of death threats and threats of real world violence and no one fucking cares. "How could you be so mean to the people who said they wanted to shoot you???"

None of you actually fucking care about victims or harm reduction. You just care about "gross" fiction. And almost everyone just fucking lets you get away with it.

So yeah, no, I'm never gonna just shut up about it. I'm done making that mistake started years ago where I'd get disparaged for "causing drama" when responding to people directly and publicly harassing people and I'd actually step back.

I'm not stepping back. I shouldn't have to be the bigger person while everyone treats bullying, sexual harassment, stalking, and verbal abuse as normal, innocent things.

Fuck you Vixy, fuck you everyone on the mod team for that Cats zine, fuck you everyone who would publicly complain and threaten me and my friends by name but would throw a fit and claim harassment if anyone dared to complain about them even without naming them, fuck you everyone who shared that callout and stood by it, fuck you all the people who openly didn't care about the truth and just wanted to be able to be violent without feeling guilty, fuck you Cats fan who saw the real-time response to a 15-year-old in another fandom attempting suicide because of bullying over fiction and decided the people who bullied this teenager to attempted suicide were the right side, fuck you Cats fans openly telling your victim you're going to continue stalking them and then crying "doxxing!" when they correctly threatened to contact law enforcement about your self-admitted crime, and fuck you everyone who just stood by and let these people take over the fandom, abuse anyone they wanted, and treated them like there's nothing wrong with them and like there's any validity to their actions and ideology.

I wanna reblog this again just to say, do not feel bad or guilty for blocking anyone. You're not a politician, you're not an authority figure. You're a fandom blog on tumblr. You don't owe people access to you and it's not immature to block people who make you feel uncomfortable or unsafe. You don't need some grand moral justification to block someone. It's 100% your decision and your right to block anyone you want, don't let anyone guilt trip you over it. Hell, block me if you don't like my response to this, that's your right to do! Just never feel guilty over blocking people.
