What if Drix powers is basically having a “hive mind” meaning she can control a bunch of people at a time and well….yeah turn them into a hive mind.

And the reason I’m saying this is because it would relate to her being a bug (you get it? HIVE mind? I know she’s not a bee but still) and since the forbidden five are supposed to be super menacing and scary, I think that power might be insane and horrifying, so it would fit pretty well.

i wonder if wu caused the merge to save the realms from ras's master, who we know wants to reverse the merge, hence why he said 'only unity can save us', so maybe the merge prevents ras's master, whoever that may be, from enacting his true plans somehow? and that's why he's trying to undo the merge, so he can.. evil all over the place. idk. it's like 1 am and i'm half asleep.

So, I was thinking about Ninjago in the shower, as one does, and I realized the Nya would probably have to end up facing the fear she saw in the cave.

Anyways, then I remember the mirror from the fire chapter, where she was scared of being normal, zane was scared of losing his humanity, and lloyd didn’t want to be like his father. All of those came true. Zane became the ice emperor and completely lost himself, becoming a tool for Vex, Nya would lose her powers after she was revived from the sea, and Lloyd became an oni during the battle with the overlord.

We also know that Jay has, in fact, lost his memory and does not remember nya, but also, Sora’s fear might come true, since we know lloyd saw beatrix in his vision. Wyldfyre saw that dragon diseas that Egalt has, so her fear may or may not have happened. I don’t entirely know about arin though, we don’t known much about his parents, but who knows, that one might come true too. Kai may have had a vision about losing Nya and/or lloyd, OR he had a vision about something bad happening to them without his protection, and with him in the inescapable place, that’s a likely fear.

So, that’s my theory, I guess. Cheers to ranting

So I have a thought about Arin's spinjitzu.

We know that Shatterspin is based on strength, and Dragon Rising is based on motion; they're likely tied to the Source Dragons that embody those concepts, as well. but Arin struggles to learn the kind of Spinjitzu that leads to Dragon Rising, as he can't connect with the motion of the universe the way Egalt wants him to.

What if Arin's spinjitzu isn't based on strength or motion? what if it's tied to another one of the source dragons, like life or energy, or one of the three we don't know yet? it would explain why he's been struggling to improve under Lloyd's mentorship, and would open up an interesting avenue for him to invent a new, unique technique in the future. He might even come up with a form that combines multiple different Sources, becoming the greatest ninja just as Lloyd knew he could.

GUSGUYSGUSY I was just rewatching the administration and it got me thinking (dangerous)

so jay works in the department of reassignment right. whose main job description is finding/dealing with people lost in space bubbles riiiight.

so he must have been a field agent at some point to have been promoted to a management position !! so what i f !! hear me out !!!! what if he started working at the administration in the hopes of finding his friends !!

and - okay stick with me. their teleportation technology probably isn't that old. sure there's a possibility that the realm of madness had been developing it before but their realm wasn't that big what would they have needed it for? even excluding that it's the realm of *madness*!! there's a good chance it isn't safe tech.

They almost certainly haven't done too much testing on it. And teleportation is serious business. Scrambling all your particles could have any number of unintended consequences, especially if you're doing it regularly.

i really want dr jay to be like. an office worker but he's still the spooky soul guy. i haven't actually watched the trailers so this is purely going off fanon theory, but i want him to be a normal office worker as a front, as a disguise. he's still the spooky soul guy on the side.

but i also want him to be known throughout the office as a threat. maybe they know he's the spooky soul guy. he's scary, he's dangerous, and everyone knows that.

i have a scene in my mind of him like. snapping his fingers or w/e and the office workers do what he wants

but he's pathetic about it still

I just had a dream that Morro had a redemption arc in Dragons Rising. So like, following the theory that everyone got displaced during the merge, Morro and Kai got displaced to the same place, some sort of tornado swept through the place, and Morro saved both their lives by lowering them down slowly from being in the tornado

If I don't see a Morro redemption arc in DR now I'm gonna be sad lol

NEED people to remember that the point of Arin is that he's just a normal kid. Normal kid, no powers, no genetic ties to important characters, nothin. That's the basic premise of Arin as a character and as a person. Always ALWAYS remember this.

Tried to categorise every known element to each Soruce! I think that the new elements could have been made when Riyu was born and those could be "his" elements but I could be wrong hmm

Went with "Flow" and "Stillness" for the Water and Ice Sources just for the sake of them having a name, 7th one is still an enigma tho, Balance is kinda just a place holder name lol

My reasonings for Tech being under Energy and Heat under Motion is because I think that when the Tourney starts, the current Ninja team will have a representant of each Source, so with Jay and Kai out of the picture, Sora and Wyldfyre can fill those slots

Also ngl was so hard to do anything for the Ice Source lmao

Do you guys think that the reason that doc Wyatt couldn’t say arin parents name because, both or one parent(s) would probably meet the ninja(s) , or most definitely sora . But neither the ninjas nor the audience would be able to to know that these are arin’s parents ( they probably changed a lot since the merge) , and either the ninjas or the parents let slip out that they know arin , and they all latter have a realization

So, like. that scene in ep 9 where Ras beats Arin ass and then basically makes him an offer to take him in? yeah how we feeling bout that one gang?

That shit has been on my mind since I first saw it— It’s not that I think Arin would completely turn evil, but I am a firm believer that he will make some sort of very stupid mistake (aka helping Ras, or one of his minions, perhaps only in some small way) that is going to fuck up everything and make him feel even worse.
