I don’t know if anyone has said this yet, but I love the parallels between Cinder and Arin.

Small DRS2P2 spoilers below:

The forbidden 5 are able to just use shatterspin whenever they want, but Cinder needs the gong to get him going.

The other 6 ninja are able to use proper Spinjitzu whenever, but Arin’s version is wonky, and needs work.

Both of their respective spins are pretty easily defeated, and while I don’t want to say they’re useless, they don’t offer nearly as much without the spins. In Arin’s case, anyone can do spinjitzu. In Cinders case, there’s 5 people better than him, and each of the forbidden 5 are said to be elemental masters

Yes, Kai is still wearing his Gi while sleeping. A reference to one of the episodes in DR season 2 part one where Lloyd is waking up after a vision in his Gi. Lego, that’s your cue to give the Ninja pajamas.

What if Drix powers is basically having a “hive mind” meaning she can control a bunch of people at a time and well….yeah turn them into a hive mind.

And the reason I’m saying this is because it would relate to her being a bug (you get it? HIVE mind? I know she’s not a bee but still) and since the forbidden five are supposed to be super menacing and scary, I think that power might be insane and horrifying, so it would fit pretty well.

so like based on the Ninjago Wiki, the Forbidden Five are said to be elemental masters. So ONE OF THEM COULD BE THE PREVIOUS MASTER OF WIND WHO WENT CORRUPT.
