Fun Fact! Even with Kai being Lloyd's favorite growing up, Cole took to Lloyd easier. Cole hopes if he ever had children, they would turn out like Lloyd.

How painful do you think it is for them to not have their hoard in the kraang timeline?

Immediately after having to leave it behind, it’s rough. That's like their home within the home, a safe space for them and all who enter. But ultimately, they know their lair won't be a safe space for long, and they'd rather leave it all on their own accord than to see it inevitably get destroyed. They each take a little piece, though, for sanity's sake.

(To keep my dash somewhat clean:)

Mikey, unsurprisingly, is the one to accept the loss the easiest, though it still hurts to think about too much, even at the very end. He holds onto the first coloring book he's ever had like it's a treasure, because it is, but takes comfort in drawing on whatever surface/paper he's able to find.

Raph kept a stuffed bear from his childhood, one that's well worn and was given to him by all of his brothers at the time when finding gifts was the hardest for them. He lives by the out-of-sight-out-of-mind motto, choosing to pretend his hoard is still safe somewhere and not crushed under rubble, even though he knows that's likely not true.

Leo wanted to take a bat figurine, because it's wings were so realistic, but ended up snatching a decent sized bird plushie, purely so that Raph could technically have two hoard pieces. After Raph's death, though, he lets Junior hold onto it the most. His coping comes mostly through seeing others happy. He does feel better once Donnie makes him his own wings... but that's only until they're destroyed.

Donnie, fortunately, never experiences this pain the same way they do. His tech is necessary. Yes, he left a lot behind, and it hurts to see anything get destroyed, but, ultimately, he's never had to experience the loss of the entire hoard all at once. You could argue it's worse, since he feels the striking feeling repeatedly after every mission leads to a new crushed tech piece, but its honestly nothing compared to just abandoning it all. ;w;
