B) maggotfig is my httyd oc who is a very good viking boy who dreams of not very viking appropriate things, like what the best kenning for a zippleback’s teeth might be. his right eye is covered because it causes him a lot of pain and is hyper-sensitive when exposed to light, leading to a lot of migraines. it’s a good thing gormworm (or “gormy”) guards his blindspot…

As much as I would enjoy a kiss at their reunion, I do think the dragon prince crew would do something softer when (not if <-clown emoji) Sorvus is made canon. I'm picturing Corvus and Ezran and Callum arriving at the castle like in the promo image, them checking up with Opeli and she reveals everything is fine.

But Corvus asks about Soren. "Where is he?" he asks, his mind already wandering to the possibility that Soren...hadn't made it out. He will himself to remain strong for his king, but his body fills with dread. Thankfully, Opeli points him to the river.

There, Soren sits on the banks. Corvus sits beside him, noticing the same pained look in his eyes that he had seen on the ramparts the day Soren asked him to become a crownguard. Now, that same pain encompassed how he sat, how he stared mournfully into the waters.

Corvus asks is he is alright, and Soren can't even answer, holding back what emotion he can to maintain his cheerful attitude. He is failing miserably. Something more terrible than the Storm Spire must have happened. Something worse than Katolis burning down.

Corvus lays his hand over Soren's on the rock. Soren looks from it to Corvus, then shifts so that he can hold Corvus's hand back.

Like Janai and Amaya, its a confirmation.

oops! it has been a while. i wont ramble at length about it (at least not up here), but i've been working at remaking my art style from scratch

it isn't a lot atm, but its enough that i wanted to post something so here!

ill keep further ramblings below a cut lol, but yes hi yes im figuring out how to draw again and im actually enjoying it for the first time in a while ^.=.^

but yeah lmao, i kind of hard fell out of love with my art style due to it being a Lot of Effort for what was ultimately... flat (at least to me), so i kind of didnt have the energy to continue doing it, especially when i couldnt get the results i wanted.

so! this is where im experimenting with now, kind of trying to hard mimic traditional without caring for keeping it "clean". that means for me keeping my sketches as my lines, and not using masks for my colors so they bleed through underneath, all that

but yes, that's all! should hopefully be able to find the time to draw a bit more often now that it doesnt quite feel like a soul-wrenching chore <3

Fluffy dragon, I heard that you're not feeling very great lately, and I'm really sorry if anything in this world has hurt you. It's a harsh existence. Sometimes teeth and claws aren't enough to get us through. Sometimes our horns and spikes don't protect us. What I like to remember when I can't find a way to stop the barrage of stress is that time moves on, on its own, and that the struggle can not last forever no matter the size. You've already made it past everything life has thrown at you before today, so you know you have the power to make it through this as well. Keep your eyes pointed towards your future. Your draconic strength will get you through. Your wings will hold you strong in the air, and your tail will curl around you when rest comes, and it will be a time of peace for you. I hope that time comes soon, furry friend.
