The last dragon the Targaryens ever hatched, according to the books, was described as a green female, "small and stunted with withered wings", and was said to be sickly, though laying five eggs which never hatched. A skull later displayed in the throne room was later described as being "no bigger than a mastiff's skull, and oddly misshapen", likely belonging to her.

I'd seen quite a few fanart of the unnamed last dragon and they usually depicted her with an aspect of majesty and beauty, which sounded odd for what was the dying gasp of a once-powerful empire. So my take on the last dragon is the opposite, an absolutely pitiful and grotesquely deformed freak of nature, with basically everything possible wrong with her, at a glance clearly something not bound to have lived very long. Clubbed feet, a kinked tail, a severely shortened upper jaw that caused painful breathing and eating difficulties, a crooked neck, and said withered wings being hideously disfigured, one berely functional as a forelimb to hobble around on and the other a useless appendage with tangled digits. Unable to breathe fire, fly, or be used for riding in combat, she is a perfect representation of the Targaryen dynasty in its final years: frail, impotent, and a mere pathetic shadow of the glory and fearsomeness of its forebearers.

Sai is still mad at Jeb for urging him into a fake relationship with Kiyoshi. And so so so embarrassed! And poor Jeb is so afraid Sai will break up with him again. He doesn't know what to do.

And Jack and Kiyoshi are having a hard time too since Jack broke up with Kiyoshi and Kiyoshi is fully back from the Tree and they know the truth now...

I have no idea what's wrong with Ji Ho, they had such a fun evening in the hot tub. I guess he feels bad for his friends.

Haha oh my, this lot really has some problems. They never went to where I asked them to when we shot the photos. As if there were invisible obstacles around. And here they don't even stand opposite of each other while giving high-five... And everytime I touched something in build mode, some of them jumped up from where they were sitting ^^'

Poor Saiwa, nothing is easy in this world either... But they are all stuck here now and have to find a way which they can walk together - somehow.

Hi I'm so sorry if this has a really obvious answer somewhere but do we ever learn what happened to morning/why she died?

Nope, sorry, we don't know. Fire & Blood ends on the 16th birthday of King Aegon III Targaryen in 136 AC, about a year after Rhaena rode Morning for the first time. (And less than a year after the death of Rhaena's first husband Corwyn Corbray.) Further details are not given in TWOIAF, only that the last dragon (who was not Morning, she was a small green stunted thing who never flew) died in 153 AC. So we only know that Morning must have died in between 136 and 153, and probably many years before the later date.

The full story will be told in F&B vol 2, which at last report GRRM plans to call Blood & Fire (lol) and won't be out until after TWOW (it hasn't even been worked on beyond the Gyldayn quotes in TWOIAF, and of course the general history given in that book). Personally, I think Morning must have died before Rhaena married her second husband Garmund Hightower (and presumably moved to Oldtown), but I couldn't say why it happened for sure. Maybe something to do with F&B plot danglers, like the witch queen at Harrenhal and her alleged dragon, or Silverwing gone wild and lairing at Red Lake? Or a mysterious illness or something like that? Something that would involve how Rhaena met Lord Lyonel Hightower's younger brother in the first place? I don't know. I'll leave exact details to fanfic writers (and I don't want to write any myself, I've only had the urge to write about Rhaena and Corwyn lol sigh). Or of course, GRRM and Blood & Fire, whenever that may be.

His blunt words startled her. It seemed as though all the things she had always believed were suddenly called into question.
