“I just think you do all this as an entertainment, pretty” morgan said looking across the bullpen, more specifically to the 6’1 nerdy man with the prettiest honey-like eyes.

“shut up, morgan, I’m tired of explaining the same thing to all of you” a sigh escaped my lips while I arranged all the paperwork we had left after a horrible case of human trafficking in D.C.

“what thing are we talking about? ‘cause if we are talking about the missing cookies, garcia took them” prentiss said sitting on top of the desk besides mine.

“we are talking about the not so secret crush our best dressed agent here” morgan pointed at me, making my laugh a little, “has on our I dress like a grandpa doctor”

“oh my god, dereck, that is so superficial of you to say! and is not a secret crush, I like to say nice things to my friends , you say things way out off line to garcia and no one bats an eye, but if I flirt a little with spence everyone goes crazy ”

“sorry honey, but if you think you can hide something while working around profilers, you are very wrong” prentiss taped my nose and standing from the desk.

“you guys make me sick, you know that? I’ll go to spend time with my favorite friend’ I grabbed my coffee and walked to spencer’s desk, escaping the teasing from my coworkers.

spencer was too busy writing to notice when I sat on the desk beside him. his hair was slicked back, making his face look even more sculpted, and prettier, than usual. he was wearing a simple white shirt and a black tie, a casual and comfortable look.

“hi, spence, sorry I didn’t came earlier to talk, handsome, was kinda busy with the pile of papers on my desk” he blinked rapidly when the word handsome left my mouth.

“H-hey” he coughed a little, “don’t worry, I can help you if you want, did you now that a higher percentage of women report feeling burned out compared to men at their level? I don’t mind helping you, as long as you want, of course” spence spoke quickly, making me smile.

“if you want to spend time with me you can say it, you know? I really love spending time with you, spence” I played with the end of his tie, watching his addam’s apple move and his face turning an adorable shade of pink. “and thank you, I accept your help, you are the best spence” I give him a quick peck on the cheek while walking away and seeing morgan with a smirk on his face.

“try not to make it that obvious next time” he pushed me in a playful way, laughing at my, more than spencer’s, red face.

I think the thing I love the most about Boom is that it’s such a simple but effective premise. No aliens, limited special effects, one simple set that’s more or less just a pile of rocks but still choc full of tension. Steven Moffat came back with the promise of Disney money and used precisely none of it lmao.

Summary: morning coffee seems like the perfect excuse to spend some time with spencer.

a/n: you guys??? thank u liking my first fic!!! I’m thinking of doing a flirty!reader series now! tell me some things you would like to read. xoxo

a sweet coffee in the mornings was the best. preferably a large cinnamon latte with a little cocoa powder on top. you ran into your favorite coffee shop every single day without a miss, waking up extra early to not be late to work.

and spencer notice that, and you notices that he noticed, so you came up with the brightest idea, at least to you.

“what do yo think? you asked garcia, sitting right next to her, surrounded by all those weird screens.

"okey, so your way to spend more time with boy wonder is to spend hundreds of dollar on coffee, instead of just asking him out?" she looked confused and almost on the edge of laughing.

"garcia, whe you say it like that is kinda weird" you scratch your head "I just think is something nice to do for a friend!"

"I haven't seen you bringing coffee for anyone here" garcia crossed her arms, raising one eyebrow.

"ugh, okey, so I might have a little platonic, completely platonic crush on spencer, like you and morgan, just friendship"

"no, no, don't bring us to this." a finger waved in front of yor face, "just bring the damn coffee and keep lying to yourself, love you though, remember that I like those chocolate pastries" you laugh walking out of the room.

the next day came, you walked into the office with two cups, going directly at spencer's desk.

"good morning, spence."

spencer looked at you, forgetting all the task he was doing to minimized time. his mouth started to open and close, too stunned by how pretty you looked like that, you were wearing a deep red scarf and a same shade of lipstick. your winter lipstick, as you said once to prentiss.

"I brought you a coffee, I hope you like it, I asked for the sweetest drink they had!" you smile only got bigger when spencer's face transform into an almost sunburned color.

"you brought me coffee?" he repeated looking at the cup and then to your face.

"yes, doctor, I don't like seeing you drinking that awful coffee from the office" you placed the carton cup with spence written on it next to a heart.

Spencer took a big sip of the drink, burning his tongue a little and spilling some of the hot liquid down his jaw.

"carefull there, handsome" you said, grabbing a napkin and cleaning some of the cream out of his face, looking directly at his lips, and spencer noticed that, a million facts run his mind, about how people might gaze at someone’s lips when they are attracted in them at some capacity.

but that was impossible. you could not be attracted to him. but oh man, you were head over heels with him. your eyes went from his lips to his eyes, trying to discover if he felt at least something more than friendship towards you.

but as always, someone interrupted the moment, and that someone was the boss.

"what did a tell you about reid? no fraternization in the workplace. hands out of his face" hotch said passing behind. "you need to go to your desk, I have enough with garcia and morgan ovulating"

"sorry, boss" you got up, slightly touching spencer's lips when getting your hand out of his face. "same thing tomorrow, doc?"

"y-yes, thank you"spencer whispered, not a single thought on his brain, shocking, only being able to concentrate on your smile and how your ponytail moved as you walk away.

"my my, pretty boy, haven't seen you this quiet in a long time, my girl here needs to buy coffee more often" morgan walked past spencer as he chuckle.

spencer continue to drink his coffee, with you on his mind and a smile on his face for the rest of the day,
