Honestly there are so many ppl I know irl that I will never be able to look at the same again… If you can hear “11,500 children killed” “crushed and buried patients alive with bulldozers” if you can look at videos of children with their limbs amputated screaming and crying because there is no anesthesia and your response is still “free the hostages!” or “but Hamas!” or “Israel has the right to exist” then you simply do not see Arabs as people, you cannot look at brown children and be reminded of your own kids because you see them as Other, and whether subconsciously or not your perception of the Middle East is of an innately war-torn, inherently violent place, and you have conveniently and utterly failed to comprehend how much of that is due to Western savagery and puppeteering. Why do you think it’s in any way acceptable for the US to regularly bomb other countries, but it was considered a war crime to the utmost degree when they physically retaliated against us? Why do you think Hamas holding hostages is the height of brutality when Israel is publicly expressing glee over killing thousands upon thousands of Palestinian children? If you think any of these things, you do not think of Arabs as people, you think of them as Other, unworthy of the protections and freedoms you take for granted.

Tired of seeing hate and antisemitism so much.
People are showing just how antisemitic our society is. Saw someone comment on Facebook "this is proof that Israel has always been evil." Then thanks the xtian prophet. People believing half assed researched "proof" of Israel being evil and supporting this.
Palistine needs to look inward and see Hamas killed our people in the middle of the night after a HIGH HOLIDAY killing 2000 INOOCENT people in one night and taking hostages. The death toll has taken more Israelis than Palistinians if you do math... Hamas does not care about his people, palistine is land stolen from Israel. Israel helped his citizens because he wouldn't. Giving them asylum. There were several offers of peace that were REFUSED BY HAMAS!!! He wants to destroy Israel and every Jew.
The US has committed more atrocious war crimes than even this. Like nuking Hiroshima and it STILL HAS EFFECTS ON THE PEOPLE TO THIS DAY, because Japan bombed one military base. They also let people die when they could have helped. US let WW2 last as long as it did, it has blood on its hands.
Then I want to remind US citizens that the twin towers had a death toll of about 2000. That was in 2001. They still have military power in the region and have killed over ten times more people.
The US is the biggest war criminal in the world. They can't even govern their own country, stay out of other peoples' affairs until your two party system has two working parties, k? Why are you still killing innocent people in Iraq when no one in the attacks was from Iraq.
Your government blew up their own towers, if you know anything about melting temperatures of steel, jet fuel, physics, and just plain knowledge of how buildings like that are meant to withstand earthquakes, so the planes didn't destroy the entire towers. They aimed so high that it would have taken out the top. The bottom should have been intact as in the beams and structure. Why were the beams all cut on a pretty diagonal line in the same way? It was an excuse to fix Bush Sr.'s bad mistake putting terrorists in charge of the country (Iraq) during his term as president.
Put on a big show and get people on board for a war, it happens every time. Do research before you listen to some random information that has no legitimate sources. It's not okay to spread hate.
Antisemitism isn't a good look on your country atm.
I will pray for Israel until my last breath, I believe in Hashem and His words of Torah.
It's just okay to kill Jews I guess. I see it everywhere.
Police say we are safe. Most of them probably hiding fucking hate tattoos.
I want peace, but the human race is literally not capable of peace. Hate IS humanity.

Feels like a great to to bring up when tumblr zionists, hasbara, tried to mock and dogpile someone for bringing up this issue of military greenhouse emissions.
It is well established that israel's bombardment has generated more greenhouse emissions than several countries, combined. And yet, it's a greater issue if the spectre of antisemitism is present??? Give me a goddamn break! It's literally government sanctioned cyberbullying. And whether it's from a unit 8200 bootlicker or a bluemaga brat lib, that shit don't fly🤗
Check out this ACT.IL PROMOTIONAL COMMERCIAL FROM FIVE YEARS AGO they literally give people little mobile app goals to go harass people for posting about Palestine. Not kidding

🚨No peace for genocide profiteers! Home demo outside Elbit subsidiary leader's house in Massachusetts.
Via BDS Boston: "Sunday November 10th: Community members held an early morning noise demo outside the home of KMC Systems president Suneet Chadha. KMC Systems is a subsidiary of Israeli weapons dealer Elbit Systems."
Friendly reminder that the home addresses of bloodthirsty, child-killing Elbit Systems of America's top employees were recently leaked at: scenes.noblogs.org/post/2024/11/03/elbit-systems-of-america-addresses

The U.S. will use its veto power against a Palestinian bid to be recognized as a member state of the United Nations during a vote at the Security Council expected to take place Thursday evening. Vedant Patel, principal deputy spokesperson for the State Department, described as premature an effort by the Palestinian Authority (PA) to gain member status at the U.N. He said there was not unanimity among the Security Council’s 15 members that the Palestinian Authority had met the criteria for membership, with unresolved questions over the governance of the Gaza Strip, where Israel is in a war to defeat and eliminate the controlling power, Hamas. “And for that reason, the United States is voting no on this proposed Security Council resolution,” Patel said.
Earlier it was revealed that the United States was secretly pressuring other members of the Security Council to shoot down a Palestinian state membership so the US wouldn't have to use its veto as that would lead to a wave of local and international criticism for Joe Biden.

okay, but on a serious note, as someone with a degree in history, this is a terrifying event. not only is this showing that our leaders and former leaders are not safe from an attack, but this attempt also happened against a former president that may will use this to his advantage. this man, a former REALITY TV STAR, knows how to play a crowd. he knows how to put on a show and manipulate people to be on his side. he already has an insane fan base who has ALREADY incited an insurrection attempt on the very government they CLAIM TO LOVE.
history loves a martyr, and a living martyr can make things worse. whether this was real or staged, it will be treated as real by every single news source that matters unless proven otherwise -- which could end up being proven years down the line. the right are already using this as a reason to vote for trump. I can't scroll through my facebook without people in every single group I'm in discussing this. all press is good press, especially to the right wing where they can spread their propaganda.
this night is going to be in history books. unless the American people come together, and EVERYONE who can vote against trump, votes for Biden (god help us), this night may very well be listed in the reasons fascism came to take hold of the United States.
you can read the reasons why World War I and II happened, and you can see the clear picture as all of those reasons are laid out in front of you.
Not to fear monger, but World War III's causes are already being laid out in front of us clearly, unless we can work together to stop it. Ukraine, Palestine, and many other places are already the places of first conflict. take a look around. read the news from all angles.
Vote. VOTE. V O T E. FUCKING VOTE. Biden is the much lesser of two evils, and it literally hurts to say that the president currently funding a Palestinian genocide is the better option, and the fact that I HAVE to vote for him in order to keep trump out of power is breaking me and everything I am inside. biden is funding it -- yet trump said he would help israel "finish the job"
donate to Palestinians. donate to the people of Ukraine. vote democrat in the 2024 election.
I'm sorry that this is not the most eloquently written tumblr essay, but I am terrified.

This evening, Israeli residents set fire twice to the perimeter of the UNRWA Headquarters in occupied East Jerusalem.
This took place while UNRWA and other UN Agencies’ staff were on the compound.
While there were no casualties among our staff, the fire caused extensive damage to the outdoor areas. The UNRWA headquarters has on its grounds a petrol and diesel station for the Agency’s fleet of cars.
Our director with the help of other staff had to put out the fire themselves as it took the Israeli fire extinguishers and police a while before they turned up.
A crowd accompanied by armed men were witnessed outside the compound chanting “Burn down the United Nations” (see video below 👇 from Israeli media).
This is an outrageous development. Once again, the lives of UN staff were at a serious risk.
In light of this second appalling incident in less than a week, I have taken the decision to close down our coumpound until proper security is restored.
Over the past two months, Israeli extremists have been staging protests outside the UNRWA compound in Jerusalem, called by an elected member of the Jerusalem municipality.
This week, the protest became violent when demonstrators threw stones at UN staff and at the buildings of the compound.
Over the past months, UN staff have regularly been subjected to harassment and intimidation. Our compound has been seriously vandalized and damaged.
On several occasions, Israeli extremists threatened our staff with guns.
It is the responsibility of the State of Israel as an occupying power to ensure that United Nations personnel and facilities are protected at all times.
UN staff, premises and operations should be protected at all times in line with international law.
I call on all those who have influence to put an end to these attacks and hold all those responsible accountable.
The perpetrators of these attacks must be investigated and those responsible must be held accountable.
Anything less will set a new dangerous standard.
-Philippe Lazzarini, commissioner general of UNRWA

For the record in case he does end up stepping down, as much as the critiques of the democratic party on commie tumblr have revolved around Biden, one thing should be extremely clear
There is no plausible or imaginary candidate for any party whose goal is to lead the US that can in any way, shape, or form meaningfully influence the myriad of imperialist projects of the US for the better. Israel will continue to be backed by the US in its settler-genocidal project regardless of who is President or the color of their tie, not because of any kind of control that Israel has over the US, but because the presence and continued existence of Israel is intrinsicaly linked with the interests of the capitalist class of the imperial core in Southwestern Asia and North Africa. Like Joe Biden so eloquently put it: "[Supporting Israel] is the best $3 billion investment we make. Were there not an Israel, the United States of America would have to invent an Israel to protect her interests in the region." The same is true for every other imperialist action the US has ever committed or is committing.

People have been comparing Israel's atrocities in Gaza to slavery to explain why they're not voting for Kamala Harris ("her position on Gaza is so unacceptable that I can't vote for her even though her opponent is worse on nearly every other issue I care about"), so here's a relevant history lesson.
The 1844 presidential election was between Henry Clay and James Polk. Clay had what we would now consider an unacceptably moderate position on slavery: He thought that it should be allowed to continue where it was already legal but that it shouldn't be expanded to other parts of the country. Meanwhile, Polk wanted to see slavery both preserved and expanded.
To some abolitionists, Clay's position was effectively no better than Polk's, as the Missouri Compromise had set a policy on slavery west of the Mississippi River that prohibited it north of 36°30′ north latitude (with the exception of Missouri itself), and slavery was already legal in every state south of 36°30′. Many voters, unwilling to vote for either Clay or Polk, found someone to support in a third-party nominee: James Birney, representing the Liberty Party, who wanted slavery abolished entirely.
At the time, this position was outside of mainstream politics, and Birney was seen as a fringe candidate with no chance of victory. Sure enough, Birney came nowhere close to winning any state, but he did get 15,812 votes in his home state of New York. Incidentally, the entire election came down to New York, where Polk defeated Clay by just 5,106 votes. Had Birney's voters voted for Clay instead, he would have been elected the 11th president of the United States.
Instead, Polk went on to be the most pro-slavery president in American history, starting a war with Mexico to gain new land that would be open to slavery. A situation that Birney voters thought couldn't get any worse, Polk had found a way to make worse.
Now, 180 years later, people driven by fury at Harris's support for Israel and a belief that Donald Trump can't make things any worse for Palestinians are at risk of making the same mistake. Trump absolutely can make things worse, most clearly in the West Bank, which multiple members of the Israeli governing coalition would love nothing more than to annex completely, something Trump's biggest donor reportedly wants him to allow. Given Trump's transactional nature, it's likely that he would give Israel the go-ahead to fully annex the West Bank, which would destroy hopes of Palestinian statehood for the foreseeable future. Surely those who support the Palestinian cause can't countenance that happening by refusing to vote for Harris, the only candidate with a chance to defeat Trump?
As infuriating as it is that both major candidates are so unconditionally supportive of Israel's actions in Gaza, the fact is that either Kamala Harris or Donald Trump will be elected president in November. Benjamin Netanyahu and his extremist governing partners very much want Trump to win. It seems safe to say that the vast majority of Palestinians who happen to be paying attention to US politics want the opposite: a Harris victory. Please don't let them down.

Here's something really important to understand for the 2024 US presidential election:
Voting for Biden does not mean you are voting to support genocide.
Yes, the US is terrible and yes, thanks to US foreign policy we are complicit in the Israeli government's crimes against the Palestinian people. And that's going to continue until we change the system; the US president is going to continue US foreign policy, we can't change that in a single election.
What we can do, however, is elect a candidate who has taken steps to stop the genocide. An administration that is working to provide aid to Palestinians in Gaza, who has tried to lobby the Israeli government to end their attacks on Gaza.
And the alternative is an actual fascist who has said that he'll become a dictator as soon as he takes power. Trump currently ranks as the worst president in US history in a 2024 white paper and is an actual, provable threat to democracy in the United States. If we're terrible now, just imagine how bad things would get with a fascist in charge.
Here's what it boils down to:
Both candidates going to support Israel, but the Biden administration is trying to end the genocide while Trump will almost certainly encourage it.
We have a chance to push Biden and the rest of the government to change and we know that because he's already been pushed. We have no such chance with Trump.

A pro-Palestenian hacktivist group called SN_BLACKMETA has taken responsibility for the hack on X and Telegram. “They are under attack because the archive belongs to the USA, and as we all know, this horrendous and hypocritical government supports the genocide that is being carried out by the terrorist state of ‘Israel,’” the group said on X when someone asked them why they’d gone after the Archive.
The group elaborated on its reasoning in a now-deleted post on X. Jason Scott, an archivist at the Archive, screenshotted it and shared it. “Everyone calls this organization ‘non-profit’, but if its roots are truly in the United States, as we believe, then every ‘free’ service they offer bleeds millions of lives. Foreign nations are not carrying their values beyond their borders. Many petty children are crying in the comments and most of those comments are from a group of Zionist bots and fake accounts,” the post said.
i don’t even know what to say at this point. this is not activism. this is qanon levels of conspiracy-brained cult behavior. and most importantly, this does not help palestinians in the slightest. genuinely what the fuck.
