I hate that you go thru so much stuff before you get to that one person that changes life in every way for you; it ruins you. The best versions of you get taken away, and all the trauma and angst catches you at your worst times. Before you know it the one person that you have least deserves the treatment that they get. You run them off with your emotional and mental BS. You start off this amazing person. These relationships get thrown at you. Then you end up being the worst to someone who doesn’t even deserve it. Start changing your ways. Notice what you do. Don’t blind yourself with your own emotions. Because before you know it, you end up with the person you most wished for, and you end up losing them.

Contrary to popular belief I did not grow up in a religious family. However, I did grow up listening to the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack. That probably is where that comes from.

Despite the O Brother soundtrack essentially being the soundtrack to my own childhood I still need to actually watch the movie. That is on my to do list.

My Grandpas!: All three of them to a degree! On my moms side is the Arkansas/Missouri Southern Baptist Preacher who loves Cowboys, probably secretly is autistic, and spends most of his career preaching for truckers at truck stops and doing funeral services. Then my dad has his bio dad, who is a liar and a charmer and a jerk who shouldn’t have had kids but is very successful with people. And my dads stepdad who was a bit of a loud and rough guy, but he was very kind and always was making jokes and breaking rules whenever he could (we went to a museum and a guide had to follow him around to stop him from just touching everything that had a “don’t touch” sign on it).
