The primary, if not only reason, our plurality has been entirely dismissed as nonsense until 3 months ago is that-

My switches were all involuntary.

My intersex puberty gave me a fluctuating hormone cycle. I switched from masculine Jane/John, to feminine Becca, to agender Rebecca to Jane/John again whether I wanted to or not.

And it was fine, no one needed to be conscious of the switching besides Rose. If anything consciously switching would have probably caused more anxiety than necessary. It's only 5 years ago that we were comfortable enough to choose a favourite, only 2 years ago that we were confident enough to get HRT, and only 3 months ago that subsystem Valerie felt comfortable enough to leave front. And now it's helpful to all of us that Rose and Rain are comfortable, the desire to front at-will would have just frustratingly grown had Valerie not let go.

The way our system functioned earlier on, before we were comfortable with it, is the main reason we worry we're hysterical.

But it's ok because that's what we needed at the time.

Needs change and that's what happened.

Apricot was always the one fronting. Everyone else was at most co-conscious or just not where near front.

It's only now that Apricot feels comfortable enough to leave front. And now it's helpful to all of us that paw is comfortable, the desire to front would have just frustratingly grown had bug not let go.

I've never watched Buzzfeed Unsolved before but I needed something low stakes to watch while I work and it popped up in the recommended tab on Prime so I put it on

and, like, the true crime version was good, but then I got to the supernatural version of the show and THAT one is the moneymaker folks

I have never giggled so much watching a ghost-hunting show in my life, 10000/10 definitely recommend
