idk who needs to hear this but if you’re feeling bored and lethargic all the time, can’t draw, can’t game, can’t hyperfixate for longer than like a day, you are experiencing dopamine and/or high cortisol addiction and you need to heavily restrict your social media access and detox for like 2 months minimum. you will be okay. text your friends on discord or something. they won’t forget about you.

desperately need to cut down on Video games, I have pretty bad ADHD amongst other issues and been using it as an excuse but at the same time endulging my bad habbits constantly playing video games taking time away from my actual passions and I'm just sorta upset that I havent been seeing it for what it is and sabotaging myself for so long

somebody needs to write a book about comphet and dopamine addiction in people with ADHD because intentionally giving up the male gaze has profoundly impacted my functioning and that feels important

coming to terms with the fact that i probably actually am addicted to my computer. to video games and gay little tv shows and music. i always hear stuff about how people with ADHD get addicted to stuff easier than neurotypicals and im like haha good thing i don’t drink or use drugs otherwise that could be a problem!! and then turn around and play Tomb Raider from 4am to 10am and miss rehearsal the next day because i decided to take a nap to “rest my eyes” and fell unconscious for 7 hours
