The Earth started out as a flat disc, but over millions of years smoothed into a sphere due to gravity. It is believed that in 1.1 billion years the rotation of the Earth alongside the cooling of the core will result in the Earth becoming a donut shape.

Prompt: Create a comedy thriller movie concept about agents who work in the secret government service that is in charge of creating and spreading new unhinged conspiracy theories to prevent the conspiracy community from finding out about the real and just as unhinged conspiracies that are actually going on (e.g. The earth is neither flat nor empty, these are covering up the fact it's donut-shaped and the moon is the donut hole, lizard people don't rule the world, but they do indeed rule the IOC etc.)
Theory of Distraction
Logline: In a world where truth is stranger than fiction, two mismatched secret agents in a government conspiracy-spin department must fabricate outlandish theories to distract the public from uncovering the real, mind-bending secrets of the universe—while inadvertently stumbling into a conspiracy even they can’t explain.
Tagline: The truth is stranger than fiction... but they'll make sure you never know!
Main Characters:
Agent Jack Ruse (50s): A jaded, wisecracking veteran of the DUP. A disgraced ex-CIA agent, Jack’s years of spinning absurd conspiracies have made him a master of deception.
Junior agent Paige Reel (early 30s): A brilliant, no-nonsense data analyst with a knack for spotting viral trends. Recruited from an intelligence think tank, Paige is socially awkward, but hyper-logical and driven by the need for order, making her the perfect foil for Jack's chaotic energy.
Director Ava Lark (60s): The agency’s enigmatic head and puppet master. Ava knows every conspiracy ever spun and is willing to sacrifice credibility, ethics, or even sanity to keep the real truths hidden.
Zeke “The Leak” Watts (20s): A conspiracy-obsessed blogger whose relentless pursuit of the “truth” inadvertently threatens to expose not just the real secrets, but also the agency itself.
General Draco Vermin: A reptilian overlord who serves as the leader of the IOC's covert lizard council. Charming yet menacing, he's busy orchestrating an intergalactic plot through competitive sports and global media.
Plot summary:
Meet the Department of Unbelievable Plausibility (DUP), a top-secret government agency tasked with creating and disseminating the wildest conspiracy theories to mislead, amuse, and exhaust the internet’s most devoted truth-seekers. The DUP's ultimate goal? To ensure no one ever stumbles upon the real—and even crazier—secrets hidden in plain sight.
When veteran "Conspiracist-in-Chief" Jack Ruse partners with rookie recruit Paige Reel, their mission is to debunk a rogue blogger's post attempting to reveal the world’s actual truth: that the Earth is donut-shaped and the moon is its missing middle.
But things spiral out of control when their fake theory about an alien-powered TikTok algorithm accidentally run into an entirely different conspiracy they're also supposed to cover-up: a sinister plot by lizard people (who do not rule the world, but are in control of of the International Olympic Committee) to rig the next Olympic Games.
Now, Jack and Paige must race against time to bury their mistake, appease the lizards, and convince the world that nothing weird is happening at all. Armed with a mix of absurdity, tech wizardry, and a healthy dose of slapstick espionage, they discover that in the age of information, the most dangerous weapon isn’t the truth—it’s what people choose to believe.
Tone
Think Men in Black meets The Office, with a dash of Archer. A fast-paced, laugh-out-loud ride full of ridiculous theories, sharp satire, and unexpected twists.
Main Themes
Truth vs. Perception: The movie explores how belief can be manipulated, and how reality is often stranger than fiction.
Mistrust in Authority: The plot satirizes government secrecy and the extent to which institutions control narratives to maintain order.
The Power of Ideas: The movie examines the viral spread of misinformation and how even the most absurd ideas can gain traction in a digital age.
The Absurdity of Human Nature: A celebration of the ridiculousness of human behavior and our tendency to search for meaning, even in the nonsensical.

I love that Dungeon Crawler Carl is fairly new and I'm here for the start.
I've shared lots of quotes from it on here and every now and then I'll get tumblr notifications like:
The person liked your DCC post
The same person liked your DCC post
That same person even reblogged your post
And they added their own tags
And it's just like, "oh, I can see another person has fallen down the rabbit hole and has started search for DCC on tumblr."
Welcome to the world dungeon, crawlers!!!

big mac and donut joe?
Pear Cobbler runs a dessert delivery service out of Sweet Apple Acres! She’s certainly no snob when it comes to the fruits she uses, but apples and pears are especially near and dear to her heart.

Donut: CARL IT IS ANOTHER VILE MURDERER. Carl: I don’t think so, not this time. Also, I know you don’t have to type in all caps. I’ve seen you do it before. It makes you sound like you are yelling. Donut: I AM YELLING CARL.

I made this because I know that there are at least 4 people out there who sit in the middle of the venn diagram, ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl fans’ and ‘Baldur’s Gate 3 fans’
