haloheads can you tell me: how does space travel work in halo lore? like, are we doing faster than light travel? wormholes? i know there’s some stuff about cryosleep that spartans get put in i think? how do they go from one planet to the other basically

#like. how feasible would it really be for the characters to travel in between planets if i were to use established halo canon #rvb clearly has SOME travel time for interplanetary stuff. like it’s not instant.#but how not instant are we talking here #they seem to get from chorus to earth pretty fast in season 16 #but donut and doc take a minute to get to chorus #but that could also be like. securing a ride. and also like… it’s donut and doc.#i wouldn’t exactly think of them as the fastest ppl to get ready in the world. donut has to PACK!#the other interplanetary travel stuff in 15 is much vaguer…#i guess they do seem to be able to get to the beach wash and lina are on pretty fast?#which all of this makes me think of like. wormholes.#but still. curious about what halo has #so i can decide whether or not o want to discard it
