lowkey wanna start a name and pronoun hoard since i dont share my real name online and i like to experiment a bit with it but idk where to start cus I'm picky about what feels good, like I've had vos and rook locked in since i started this account, which i quite like both of them, although they feel slightly impersonal but i chose thistle for using on @tippy-tappy-paws which i do really like, and I'm thinking about using oscar on here (I'd have to retag everything but i think i could work it out pretty easily)

i have a silly cinematic planned but i haven't mustered the energy to check everyone's ref, hence why takemura here looks Like That (i can barely remember how he look like i just remember sad hungry japanese man with a manbun). also an oc ask on discord asked what your v's would do if they weren't mercs and i answered lil v would be a zookeeper with a side hustle as a podcaster who talks about space facts and alien sighting stories, and the more i thought of it the more i go :')) i had to try and draw it.

I Know What The Back Cover Of Pakt Der Yokai Band 26 Looks Like

they tried to hide it from me but my brain is too fat my detective skills unmatched i've never played ace attorney but if i did i would definitely beat every game and i would do it while also beating every professor layton game with the other hand

anyway the german natsuyuu covers are Very Pretty both front and back but more importantly back bc the blueprint for all natsuyuu print volumes, the japanese version, is quite plain

(vol 14 as a reference point)

so most of the other versions emulate or echo this design, using the lil picture there as the main visual element (if there is one)

(english, french, korean, italian & indonesian versions)

anyway that's not the point THE POINT IS using this discovery i have determined with Pinpoint Precision the appearance of the back of the german vol 26 that i previously failed to obtain (once again courtesy of the russian scanlations, thank u to that group i owe u my life)

hi. i hope you dont take offense to this but. dont you think youve gone away from the original shadow moon challenge too much to keep calling your story that. like its not even a legacy challenge any more.

I've actually thought along this line of thinking myself, especially as my posts pivoted to full-on dialogue and storytelling rather than the legacy gameplay I did in stuff like NSB - however, I wouldn't feel comfortable outright changing the name of my project from Shadowmoon to something else.

Firstly, even though I've deviated from what the original challenge required, I am still taking huge amounts of inspiration from the original post outlining each generation's traits, aspirations, plotline, etc. I am putting my own spin on it, yes, but I feel it would fall too much into plagiarism for me to pretend it's not related to the original challenge at all anymore.

Secondly, on a bit more selfish note, I really don't want to go back and retag/edit every single post in the story (of which there are well over 500 between the Caleb side story, Gen1, and current Gen2). This also wouldn't undo those tags on any reblogged versions of those posts either. I may ADD story tags to some of the posts starting in Gen2, but the project is still ultimately a legacy.

Also, @/simbonez is actually following me (not a flex! just a statement) -

- so if they are uncomfortable with what I am doing I hope they would/will let me know, as I never would want the original creator of the challenge to feel that way. But unless they express this I likely wouldn't go through with changing the name and tags.
