9. (Explore) What line from The Narrator do you like the most?

This is a very hard question, because I like a lot of his lines for multiple reasons. The entire speech leading into the Moment of Clarity! In the new HEA chapter, his line of "I hope this was worth it. Genuinely, I do." In the new Cage chapter, the hilarity of the timing and delivery of his usual "If the Princess lives here, slaying her would probably be doing her a favor." His unexpected reassurances to Hero if you successfully slay the Tower, the "Don't let those be your final thoughts" bit. The unexpected heartbreak of, if you choose to lie or tell the truth telling him you're going to slay the Shifting Mound at the final mirror, his "Are you lying? I can't tell," after he's been able to tell throughout the entire game if you're lying...

But I think when it comes down to it, my favorite line from him is a very, very simple one. Even when I'm speeding through things to get to a different chapter or specific choice, I always slow down to listen to the exchange between him and Skeptic in the Prisoner chapter, and his delivery:

Narrator: "And… maybe I wanted to be the first version of me that you met. I didn't want to be confronted by the alternative." Skeptic: "That's pathetic." Narrator: "I never said I wasn't."

His delivery of that last line was the first time I ever saw a hint of vulnerability in the Narrator in the game, a moment of pure open honesty and emotion, and it immediately set me down the path of sympathy. So... yeah. "I never said I wasn't" has to take the cake for me.

13. (Explore) Any Vessel-Vessel you want to see interact?

Ooooh, A LOT actually! A lot of the Chapter II (and Chapter III) "counterparts" could have really great dynamics, especially (IMO) Beast & Witch, Damsel & Prisoner, Nightmare & Spectre, Cage & Happily Ever After, and potentially Den & Thorn. I feel like Happily Ever After could also interact super interestingly with both Den and Thorn. The two Greys could be great together, Adversary!Fury & Wounded Wild, Adversary!Fury & Thorn, even either Fury & Razor...

I also feel like it could be really fascinating to have one of the Chapter II Princesses meet their counterpart's shared Chapter III? Like, nearly all of them I can think of an amazing potential dynamic. Adversary & Tower!Fury. Witch & Beast!Wild (Networked or Wounded). Prisoner & Burned Grey. Nightmare & Spectre!Wraith and Spectre & Nightmare!Wraith both! A sort of "that could have been me" situation where either swiftly or gradually they could come to understand each other incredibly deeply.

(I also feel like Adversary & Razor would have a lot of fun together! Plus, Sal got me shipping Spectre & Witch, so, you know... Them. :D)

I THINK I MIGHT ACTUALLY COMBUST. and bc another anon asked abt how alastor views the violence in voxval’s relationship, i have Another thought on the matter. as much as alastor looks down on vox, they can be Very similar sometimes. they are both egomaniacs and very prideful. i don’t think vox, without outside interference, would ever ADMIT that the violence he faces is 1) something he truly hates AND 2) out of his control. he can’t admit he hates it, because then why isn’t he stopping it? that would be admitting to not being powerful enough or strong enough. and hello, 50’s toxic masculinity coming through, he CANT be a victim of domestic violence. he’s a powerful, rich, and important man. it all comes down to perceived weakness. so, the solution is to pretend he’s mostly fine with it. sure, he can act disgruntled and upset in the moment, but i don’t think he’d ever let himself take it seriously. because then he has to start drawing lines in the sand, and what happens then? will val look down on him? will he lose val? yeah, he is not risking that over a problem he mostly refuses to acknowledge exists. and as you said, this is all happening in the setting of hell, where ultra violence IS the norm, and vox himself is excessively violent. it’s the most delicious 50 layer cake of fucked up-ness.

RANT ASIDE THO. i have a question. 2. do you ever plan on having vox interact with the hotel crew outside of angel? ANDDDD what would charlie’s reaction be to their friendship/situationship/ kinda love affair. i think she could add SOOOOO much hilarity and Intense Emotions to this series. not that the boys haven’t been doing their part in that so far. charlie just intensifies everything she does, god bless her. -🌓

The "getting fucked" bit and the trans conversation bit are directly related to and relevant to each other, and frankly I'm just very happy to be out here writing the specific flavors of deeply queer shenanigans that I'm writing, and to have people actively enjoy that. It genuinely means a lot to me that I've strayed so goddamn far out of the bounds of good old top/bottom yaoi archetypes that introduced me to fandom and yet have a wildly enthusiastic audience nonetheless. So, that was my long way of saying that you bring me a lot of fucking joy, anon, hahaha.

As for everything you're saying about Vox, power, and masculinity: YOU! points dramatically at you YOU GET IT! YOU GET IT!!!!!! Everyone just read this, this is it, this is the thing. I have no notes to add. There is a reason that the main point he raises the moment he actually says something vulnerable about it (before he immediately cuts himself off) is a complaint that he's an overlord, so why—?

And with regards to your questions: I'm not gonna lie, my actual planning for 666 is usually, like, extremely by the seat of my pants. I plan nothing except, "Oh, shit, had an idea for the next one. Lesgoooo—" and that's been the case for literally every single installment. It's all just been evolving naturally and building on top of itself. So! I can't say that I plan to have Vox interact with the hotel crew or Charlie, but I also will never say that I'm actively opposed to it.

That said, I do think a lot of this fic is kinda structured around hitting specific topics that come up in intimate settings between Vox and Alastor specifically, with occasional tag-ins from Angel Dust, so I don't really know if there's anything in particular I'd like to write that I think would work better in this series if more characters got involved. But, hey! Never say never!

Daichi ( Kisho ) is on a mission with Nobara Kugisaki and Yuuji Itadori to exorcise a wasp curse at the abandoned warehouse near a shrine. However, the mission is proven to be difficult until Daichi has an explosive idea for the two to consider. How would this play out? And what would Megumi Fushiguro's response see the outcome? Read to find out! -----

Megumi is now tapping his foot with his arms crossed while exhuming waves of anger while his shikigami Max Elephant hoses building and trees with water to put out the flames caused by his three friends: Nobara Kugisaki, Yuji Itadori and Kisho Hashimoto aka Daichi PhoenX. He got there just in time to see a shrine caught on fire and it spread to a few trees which is stopped thanks to his shikigami.

The mission was to exorcise a cursed spirit inhabiting a old building near a shrine. It was an easy mission so he has to wonder. What in the world did it go so wrong?!

"Care to explain yourselves?" Megumi asked as his friends are sitting on the ground with their hands on their knees, looking down on the ground as they became slient.

Nobody dare say anything because if they say something. Someone is going to get punished.

"We have the entire night...to talk" Megumi said. "Because the mission was to exorcise a cursed spirit not to burn down a building so tell me..how did this happen?" He said so emotionlessly. But they can feel it. it made his three classmates sweat so bad that they sweat bullets as their bottom lips are quivering. They all had one thought,

'Holy shit, he's mad.'

Megumi already knew who was clearly responsible for this but he is going to heard him out.

"I..." Daichi PhoenX opens his mouth and closes his mouth.

"Yes...Daichi? We're all ears." Megumi said.

Nobara and Itadori look at each other with worried looks because they know that Daichi is in more trouble than them.

"Well...it went something like this..." Daichi starts to explain.

----- Hours earlier ----

"Ugh! That was so gross! The curse is so tough!" Nobara yelled.

"I can't even hit it. Not only that there were so many of them!" Yuji groaned. The curse is a bug, it's like a wasp on two legs and it has a crown on its head. Not only, it had its own swarm of flyheads that looked dangerous since they have stingers.

"Same..." Daichi narrows his eyes when he grips his sword. Nobara groans, "So now what?" The mission that the three were sent is to exorcise grade semi-2 curse but it is proven difficult since the curse itself has an army of small grade 3 and 4s, curses that look like killer hornets of the size of a baseball. They were pretty hard to get rid so the teens quickly retreated. So now, they're outside trying to come up with an idea how to get rid of the small fires before getting to the big boss.

Itadori is sighing shaking his head while Kugisaki grumbles. But then...Daichi blinks as an imaginary lightbulb appears on top of his head, "I got an idea! Follow me!" He said. Nobara and Yuji blink so they follow Daichi to his large bag where he unzips and opens it. "Ta-da!" Daichi presents what is in the bag. Eito chirps happily. The two students widen at what they are. Fireworks?!

"Uhh....Daichi...." Yuji is now worried.

"I don't think it's a good idea! I mean....remember last time???" Nobara reminds him. The truck caught on fire when he first use it. In a way, it sounded a good idea even though a truck exploded when the curse was exorcised in that explosion. Megumi was pissed. Daichi sighs, "I know, I know! But this time, it's in an enclosed space and the hornet curse with its swarm will be easy to defeat with this firepower! Think about it!" He said. "We will have the range and advantage. We just need to antagonize the main curse out of its den along her angry swarm of bees or wasps?"

"Her?" Nobara questioned with a raised brow and crossed arms. Daichi nods, "Usually....with bugs like these, it's always led by a queen. So the giant wasp is the queen and she's pretty aggressive if her swarm dies.." "Ooooooh..." Nobara and Yuji nodded in acknowledgment as they get it now. Yuji then asks, "We need to make the curse angry, right? So how would this work." "Yep. We need to take her swarm down so she has no choice to get out." Daichi nodded. "Plus we can attach the fireworks to something to make that work. And I know just the thing!" Something??? Nobara and Yuuji blinked. He goes to take something out of bag. "Ta-da!" He presents them a drone with a remote control. "If we attach fireworks to this, we can have control of the skies and strike the curses from above!" Daichi grinning, as Eito chirps.

Nobara and Yuuji are thinking about the pros and cons about this plan. Although...adding fireworks to a drone, it sounded so.....so...so....freaking insane and cool! This might work! 'Brats. This is a bad idea.' Sukuna's mouth forms on Yuji's cheek opening his eye, giving his own opinion.

"Oh come on, Sukuna! I bet you never tried this in Heian Era!" Daichi stated. Sukuna huffs, "I will use a fire arrow like yours." He says, "What are you suggesting sounds dumb! The fireworks incident got something to explode, remember? How would putting it on a flying contraption would help?"

"Simple. I will add the fire to the strings of the fireworks and then we get the drone in position to fire!" He grins. "Plus I can shoot out a small fireball to lit up it. It's all positioning and planning." "You know...you could put your pet turkey to work!" Sukuna pointed this out to which Eito squawks angrily. Daichi gasps, "I could never do that to Eito! Eito always stays at my side!" Daichi exclaimed making Sukuna rolled his eyes. "Besides...Yuuji and Nobara, what do you say?! We can take this curse down with this plan!" Daichi asked them. Nobara and Yuuji look hestaited but at the same time, they don't have any ideas on how to combat this curse and its minions. Soooo...

"Why not?" Nobara shrugs. "I don't want to deal with those nasty bugs! I just got my hair done! So let's go with this plan. Heck! I want to see how this goes." She smiles.

"Yeah! Those bugs are hard to hit and you have a good idea, Daichi! So let's go with that!" He nods. This got Daichi grinning. "Alright then let's execute this operation Dragonfly!" He points outwards brimming with confidence.

Dragonfly?? The three thought including Sukuna but didn't question it. Sometime later, they set up the fireworks into position as the drone is now ready to take flight. Not before lighting up the strings to the fireworks attached to the drone. Daichi already imbues the fireworks with his cursed technique. Eito chirps.

"Okay! You guys ready?!" Daichi grins as he controls the drone as he had it fly over to the building. Have it aim towards the open window where the curses are residing it. "Yeah!" Nobara and Yuji yelled. And thus Operation Dragonfly has begun as the drone fires off two fireworks into the building. Explosions followed as the wasp curses are screeching as they are dying in the flames. The wasps that survived came out of the building and came over. "Nobara and Yuji! At the ready! FIRE!" Daichi ordered. "RIGHT!" They had their lighters given by Daichi, already lit up the fireworks, and thus the fireworks, just like rockets, shot through the sky and made contact with the incoming swarm. When those mini-explosions occur followed by beautiful sparks in the night sky of that the trio's eyes beam with awe and wonder. The curses were dropping like burnt flies into the ground after their dying screeches. Yuji and Nobara were amazed by this and couldn't believe it. This firework plan is freaking awesome. It's working. Daichi PhoenX is a genius. The swarm dies and another swarm takes its place, coming towards them. The three students look at each other with blinking eyes and start grinning. "HEHEHEHEHEHHE!" They all shared a gleeful expression. With one single brain cell shared between them; Daichi, Nobara, and Yuji decided it was a good idea to use more fireworks at the curses. They were excited to see more mini-explosions. Now they can have their revenge against the curse for being so gross and difficult. Another barrage of fireworks was sent towards the swarm, blasting them into smithereens and more beautiful sparks were seen. The teens were laughing and giggling now. "YEAH! IN YOUR FACE, YOU CREEPS!!" Nobara yelled. She felt like a princess sending out rockets from her kingdom. Yuji roars, "YEAH! TAKE THAT! GET BLASTED" Yuji felt like he was a pirate. "HAHAHAHAHA! FACE THE WRATH OF THE DARK PHOENIX!" Daichi said with Eito cawing to hype everyone up. It's all three felt like kids again. Meanwhile.....Sukuna watches this from his innate domain, almost sweatdropping. He never thought fireworks of all things would work. Fireworks weren't invented in his time and heard they are used for celebration. But to be used as a devasting weapon? He had to admit. It is a good light show. Not only that but putting fireworks on a drone??? It's so freaking ridiculous, it actually works. The King of Curses won't admit it but Daichi's plan might actually work!

But this isn't over yet. Because the ruler of the swarm has come out of its den. The queen. The queen is humanoid but it is monstrous. It is angered by her own being destroyed by the likes of sorcerer children. "Ahhh! Daichi, what should we do?!" Yuji panicked seeing the queen charging towards them. Nobara cries, "Yeah! The curse is gaining on us!" But Daichi remains undeterred by this. In fact, he predicted the angry curse would do something like that. "Not to worry because I knew this would happen, that said...I would have my Dragonfly drone become an honored kamizake!!!" Daichi yelled as Eito squawked.

"Kamizake?!" Nobara, Yuji and Sukuna thought. Daichi already imbues his cursed technique into the drone with his extended technique, Flame Blossom. "DRAGONFLY! GO!" He yelled. Daichi proceeds to ram the drone into the curse, making contact with it. The queen tries to slashes it to pieces and but drone hits into the queen. It explodes, bursting in flames and the flames are inflicted on the queen. The queen screeches as her wings are burned. "WOAH!" Nobara and Yuuji yelled as they went crazy. Seeing the queen now in flames, flying towards....crashing through the building. Suddenly, an explosion ripped through the roof making the three gasped.

"Damn, Daichi! How much firepower you put into Dragonfly drone?" Nobara said. Daichi answers, "Enough to exorcise the curse!" "Holy shit, that was cool!" Yuji yelled. Nobara nods, "Right!?" She grins. But then...something happened. They smell smoke and sees that one of the trees were set on fire. "Uhhhh...Daichi..." Yuuji goes to point at what he's seeing. Daichi turns to where Yuji is pointing at with a dumbfounded look and widens his eyes to see what's happening, "OH NO!" And thus chaos ensues as the fire begins to spread! Then the shrine got caught on fire as well. The three were panicking so the three asked Sukuna for advice. After all...he's the only adult in the room given that he is 1,000 years old. "SUKUNA! HELP US!" The three yelled which got Sukuna's mouth emerged on Yuji's mouth.

"I TOLD YOU DUMB BRATS THIS IS DUMB!" Sukuna yells, "AND WHY THE HELL SHOULD I HELP YOU?!"

"AREN'T YOU THE KING OF CURSES?!" Nobara yelled. Sukuna twitched an eye, "THAT'S THE TITLE, WOMAN! IT MEANS I'M NOT GOING TO HELP YOU DUMBASSES! YOU THREE HAVE STARTED A FOREST FIRE! FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELVES!!"

"SUKUNA PLEASE!" Yuji yelled. Sukuna can't believe this as he facepalms, he did not reincarnate in the brat's body for this shit. Fuck me! Then Eito goes to chirp frantically making Daichi blink. "Wait...use fire against it? That can put it out." "Seems like the turkey is good for something! You need to use new fire to burn out the old one! It works if there is no water nearby!" Sukuna advises. "Okay! Thank you!" Daichi said before going to do what he was told. Yuji and Nobara go to help Daichi. So far, they keep the damage to a minimal. Sorta. It was thanks to Megumi's arrival when he goes to check up on them after he completed the mission with Taz, Yuria and Miko.

And that's how they got to the situation they are now.

---- Present -----

"So let me get straight." Megumi takes a breath before exhaling. "You three decided to use fireworks to use as missiles by having Daichi imbue his cursed energy into them — AGAIN — so you can shoot into the building where the curse resided because of its swarm. And this time, you add fireworks to a drone??? Then once the drone is out of fireworks, you had it kamikaze into the queen wasp curse, sending it into a building, and blowing it along with the building. Where the flaming debris almost caused a forest fire. Did I get all this right?" Megumi asked with his arms crossed, looking down at the three who were down with hands on their knees. Their palms are sweating including their heads. They can feel the intense gaze of Megumi Fushiguro on them when he is getting the full story.

The two students behind Daichi share a thought. Nobara and Itadori are now worried about their flame sorcerer friend. They are thinking, 'Daichi is so screwed.' So screwed!'

"What do you three say for yourselves?" Asked Megumi. Daichi raises his hand up right away, "It is I! I will take full responsibility for this, Fushiguro! I'm the one who proposed the idea!!"

"Really?" Megumi said, "Why am I not surprised?" He looks to the students behind Daichi, "Kugisaki and Itadori?" Megumi said. "What about you two? You got anything to say as well?"

"We just went along with it because Daichi convinced us!" Itadori answers as he trembles while Nobara nods frantically, "Uh-huh! Daichi's idea is the best one we had so far! We had no other ideas, we were stuck!!"

"I see. Kisho, you know what this means, right?"

Kisho is now crying, "Yes!" He is so screwed but he knew the moment he messed up, Megumi has to punish him. It is what he deserves. Megumi summons his horde of rabbits and goes to punish him as the rabbits are kicking and dogpiling on Kisho. The cries were heard making Yuji and Nobara gasp. They begin to apologize to Kisho frantically.

"We're so sorry, Kisho Hashimoto!" Itadori cries as he and Kugaski clasp their hands together, begging for forgiveness while Kisho is being thoroughly punished by Megumi's rabbits.

"Yes! We will tell your girlfriend, Miko, that we appreciate your great sacrifice!" Nobara exclaimed, clasping her hands and rubbing them together.

But then....the two aren't prepared for Megumi's next words as he slowly..so slowly turn his head at them. "Who says he's going to be the only one to be punished?" He said this with unblinking green glowing eyes in a scary tone towards the two.

Eh? The two look at him with dumb looks on their face. The words sink in, making Itadori and Kugisaki slowly widen their eyes to the size of saucers and their faces pale. Wait what?! Fushiguro doesn't mean...

Wow. You two are fucked. Sukuna said in Itadori's head. "WAIT HOLD ON!" Nobara said as she and Yuji are holding hands together. Yuji had his hand up, pleading for mercy. "YEAH! Come on, Fushiguro!" Yuji yelled as the two are crawling away from the shadow sorcerer.

"We're just following what Daichi told us! You're going to punish us too?!" Nobara yelled.

"Yes. Matter of fact, you two were happy that something blew up meaning you went along knowing how it turned out, didn't you?" Megumi said as he slowly smiled. A disturbing smile as his eyes were glowing green making them sweat really hard while the sounds of Kisho's pained cries were heard within the rabbit horde in the background. "Besides...it wouldn't be right that Kisho is the only one to be punished? After all, he is willing to take responsibility while you two keep quiet. So I'm doing this in order to make sure this never happens again." Itadori and Kugisaki are now crying.

Oh god. What did they get themselves into?!

"Now, now, now...Fushiguro! Megumi! PLEASE! Let's talk about this!!" Itadori is now crying. Megumi sighs, "Sorry, Itadori. It has been decided after Kisho confessed."

"THEN TAKE ITADORI!" Kugasaki shouted, shoving him in front of her. "WHAT?!" Itadori can't believe this. Yuji looked at Nobara with a look of betrayal. "I was dragged into this!" Nobara shouted, not wanting to get punished. "Itadori agreed with Kisho and I had no choice to go with it!"

"HUH?! You're the one who say that you won't get in because you don't want your hair to get dirty!!! What the hell, Kugisaki!" Itadori retorted. "You were so into Kisho's plan!!"

As the two argued, Megumi sighs, shaking his head disappointed with his classmates, "You guys..." He goes to call his rabbit horde as one half goes to come over while the other half is still punishing Kisho.

This got Nobara and Yuji are shrieking in terror. "NO! Please Megumi!" They are pleading for mercy right now. They didn't imagine that they would get punished too.

"Okay. Yuji, you're first." Megumi said. Yuji is now shedding tears now while Nobara is now scooting away from Yuji now. "No, no, Megumi! Please! We're doing the best we can!!" Yuji yelled.

If convincing Megumi won't work then maybe asking for Sukuna's help to back him up would.

SUKUNA! HEEELP!

---- Inside Sukuna's domain ---

In the innate domain where the King of Curses resides on top of his skull throne, Sukuna Ryomen is drinking a mug of green tea latte, reading a manga with reading glasses. Where did he get a manga, a drink, and reading glasses? Well, that doesn't matter here. Right now, Sukuna is occupied as he takes a long — a very long sip of his cup of matcha latte.

"Sorry..brat. I warned you and you didn't listen. I can't help you with this. Especially with Fushiguro Megumi so you're shit outta luck here." Said Sukuna.

DAMNIT SUKUNA YOU- AAAHHH!'

A wave of rabbits consumes Itadori as they are now disciplining him with kicks and such. The cries of his vessel brought a smile to Sukuna's lips. "Ah...the sound of suffering..." He hums. Still, he admit what he says.

He is not going to screw with Fushiguro Megumi when he's mad. Nope. "Not getting off my throne. Nope." Sukuna said.

Megumi watches his rabbit shikigami disciplining both boys. The shadow sorcerer turns to the brunette. Now it's Nobara's turn. The girl is now screaming inside and is now clasping her hands in a prayer.

"Hey, hey, hey, come on Fushgiuro! You can't be serious!" Nobara pleaded.

"Like I said, you have to be punished too for your actions."

"Are you seriously going to beat up a poor defenseless helpless beauty like myself?!" Nobara is now shedding the crocidble tears so she can get out of this. But then Megumi lowers his hands, giving a glimmer of hope in Nobara's eyes.

"You're right. This punishment isn't fitting for you. This is..." Megumi does another hand sign summoning a toad with wings. Nobara pales.

"B-b-but!" Nobara is now crying.

"Everyone is equal...." Megumi begins staring down on her, "In the eyes of Jujutsu law."

The frog shikigmai opens its mouth and launches its tongue at her, wrapping its long appendage around her waist.

Nobara screaming, "NO! NOOOOO!" She screamed as the toad pulled her inside of its mouth.

----- 10 minutes later -----

Inside the van on their way back home, the three were slient in the back seat after getting punishment that Megumi handed out. The manager and driver, Nitta sweatdropped as she looks in her rear-view mirror to see the traumatized faces of Daichi, Itadori and Kugisaki.

"So what did we learn today?" Megumi asked making them tremble with fear. Nitta looks to be fearful because she never thought Megumi would be this scary.

Daichi and Itadori are dirty and have some bruises while Nobara is covered in slime thanks to the frog. The three are shaking.

"Not to do dangerous things." Daichi said.

"Not to be stupid..." Itadori said. "And get your hands dirty even if you don't want to..." Nobara said. "Good." Megumi leaves it at that as they make their way back to campus. ----- The next day -----

The three were recovering from last night. Still recovering. Daichi ( now Kisho ) , Nobara, and Yuji are sitting at the table silently. Megumi had to write the mission report given what the three told him last night. So he told them to stay inside. "Guys..." Daichi or rather Kisho begins. Nobara and Yuji looks at him. "I'm really sorry" Kisho apologizes, "I didn't know...." Daichi is used to be punished. But Itadori and Nobara too?! "It's my fault! I should of planned better and-"

"Daichi....stop....it's fine." Nobara sighed, putting her hand. "We knew that we were going to get in trouble sooo..."

"It's no worries. Didn't know Megumi's rabbits could pack a punch. I can't believe you endure all that." Yuji said. Kisho sighs, "Still..." He trails off before becoming quiet. Slience fills the room. "You know...." Yuji breaks the silence, "It was kinda worth it." He admitted, "I mean...putting fireworks on a drone? That's so crazy. It's like seeing a helicopter sending out missiles. I should thought of that!" "Huh?" Kisho blinked at him. Nobara nods her head, "Right? I rather see it again! In fact, Kisho! Where do you get your fireworks?! I want to buy some including the drone so I don't deal with any curses that is so slimy and bug-like!" Nobara whined. "Eh?!" "Yeah...next time...we need to use that if we come across any enemies. We just need to work on the explosive part." Said Yuji. And thus, the three did not learn their lesson regarding crazy ideas. In fact, Kisho or rather Daichi's crazy influence begins to rub off Itadori Yuji and Kugsaki Nobara just a little. What would be their mission next time?

L: How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting?

Usually as I'm writing it (assuming I don't just do it all in one sitting), I'll come back and give it a read over and edit before I start back to work, and then I read over it once more before I post it. that's usually it though. I'm lazy when it comes to editing lol. pretty much all my fics are first drafts.

M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?

well, I do still want to write the fic about Splinter's son (that he didn't know he had) stumbling into their lives post-movie. I have a post about it on here somewhere.

the fic I MEANT to write after I was done with IMBI (before a different AU plagued my brain, which I've been actively working on) is a fic whose working title is "Mikey and Donnie's Step-by-Step Guide for Saving Your Doomed Family," which is the obligatory peepaw fic. It follows Mikey and Donnie, post-movie, building a cross-dimensional time machine to try and save the bad future Hamatos and bring them to the saved present. It's told from Mikey and Donnie's POVs and has a heavy focus on their relationship, both pre- and post-Krang invasion.

I do still really want to write it, it's just that this other thing completely consumed my creative energy. oops.

N: Is there a fic you wish someone else would write (or finish) for you?

uhhh idk. I have lots of ideas all the time that I'll probably never write just because, you know, time and labor lol, but not really any I can think of to put here.

T: Any fandom tropes you can’t stand?

uhhhh I think my biggest thing that is Popular In Fandom but I Don't Like is AUs that bring fantastical canons into our reality and like, have the characters going to college or working office jobs or whatever. so "modern AUs," except it bums me out that that's the name we settled on because actual modern times in the setting of a fantasy canon could be really fun! Like, I don't want the "modern AU" Dragon Age to have Hawke working at a coffee shop and taking writing classes at the local uni, I want it to have them fighting darkspawn on top of a skyscraper. or like, you can have the Gaang going to college, but why can't they bend anymore! just let them have it!

FFXV is one of my favorite canons purely because it actually shows some of the thought behind like, what if a world had normal modern technology (they're driving around in modern cars and using smartphones) but also monsters and gods and magic. but so many fantasy settings in fiction are either medieval or do the bullshit where you have the "magic world" hidden from the "normal world". no! boring! I want to know how legislative proceedings are affected when congressmen can challenge each other to wizard duels. expand your mind!

U: Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.

this is list is not in any particular order:

taizi is an amazingly talented writer, there are so many lines in their fics that make me go "wow", and they have such a grasp on character and emotion. they also have some great One Piece fics!

MagicalSpaceDragon is another absolutely incredible writer. their "theseus, and" series is particularly good, but I actually have them in my bookmarks for one of my favorite ROTTMNT fics of all time, "i guess we've really been out of touch (but can it really be so serious)"

and reccing my friend Kiaxet, who is also an amazing writer who mixes hilarity, angst, and heartwarming moments with a deft hand. I'm so excited for the rest of her "Siblingquest 20XX" fic, but all her fics are amazing!

and while they aren't a TMNT writer, I wanna shout out Asidian, who has written several of my favorite FFXV fics (including and especially "Running Behind", which is one of the best MT!Prompto fics, right up there with "poor wayfaring stranger"), and also has some amazing Rise of the Guardians fics (I especially love "Bits and Pieces", which has my favorite trope of "hungry character gets fed", but "Every Boy And Girl" also makes me cry everytime).

Hi exhausted-impact!!

These are GREAT choices, I feel like I would have more to say if I wasn't so tired but here goes anyway:

Kimberly Garner

First impression: I honestly don't remember much, but one thing that stood out was probably that Artem got his eyes from her! I love finding the resemblances of the NXX team members to their biological family.

What I think now: I like her! Although she's not a perfect mother by any means, I like that she's very casual with Artem. She definitely loves him and wants the best for him, even if she wasn't able to be with him as much as he might have wanted when he was young.

Favorite moment: I'll be honest here, canon and stuff I've read in fic kind of blend together when it comes to Kimberly, but one thing I remember from the game is from the 2023 LNY call. It's where Artem is like, "my mom told me off for not bringing you over for dinner :((" and although it's off screen, it's a fun little interaction. (Non-canon wise, I've written a fic where Kimberly comes over to Artem's place to celebrate his birthday, only to get stuffed into a Trojan horse type thing with the other NXX members to surprise him. Along a similar vein, there's a fic called once more around the sun (i revolve around you) by @samsspambox where Kimberly tries her best to be present for Artem's birthdays after Neil tells her off.)

Vincent Kim

First impression: oh Marius has an assistant! He seems young! Why is he wearing gloves? (<- probably my primary thoughts upon seeing Vincent)

What I think now: I think he's super underrated and underutilized!!! I think there is so much more to Vincent than just being Marius' PA, but the main story almost never goes into these things. I mean, you'd have to be a pretty special person if Marius is going to trust you with research or work for the NXX Investigation Team. I also feel like canon maintains this professional barrier between Marius and Vincent when I think that they should actually be friends outside of work. Because the trust is there, and also because Vincent has canonically walked into Marius trying to flirt with MC. So Vincent has seen things that other people in Marius' life probably wouldn't get to.

Favorite moment: When we learn that Vincent is actually into romance media. It's such a delightful detail to know because it means he's a normal guy, too!!

Zangr Stewart

First impression: ohh fourth wall break guy!!! :D he's so silly. surely he's a one-off guy and won't return later. (also in the Lost Gold event, I was one of those guilty of assuming the picture of Zangr from behind was just Artem. Their hairstyles are very similar from the back.)

What I think now: I'm so glad you asked about him because I love Zangr's character so much, I'm truly delighted every time he appears in an event. Ever since he showed up in Skadi, every time he's not in a major event, I'm a little disappointed he's not going to join in the hilarity.

Favorite moment: My favorite funny moment(s) is probably in the Skadi event when the game mechanic has you approach Zangr to debate him multiple times, because the idea of MC marching up to Zangr nearly every day during her time at Skadi is such a funny idea to me. No matter what, Zangr's not going to get rid of her, and she's not going to stop bumping into him, either. (Slight tangent to this is how I actually don't mind the idea of MC/Zangr as a ship, but with the caveat that it has to be only under very specific circumstances. Otherwise they're like hilarious nuisances that keep running into each other. "Oh no, it's the protagonist debate lady :|" "OHO, it's ZANGR once again >:D"). My favorite serious moment is probably during the Blizzardous Threads of Red event when Zangr has crucial information, but only reveals it when MC goes along with his line of reasoning instead of her usual "because of truth and justice" answer. I think it goes to show that conceptually, MC and Zangr have opposing mindsets and as stubborn as they are, neither of them are willing to give up their point of view for another reason. Which is completely fair, of course, but also incredibly fascinating to me.

Hi darling, so lovely to hear from you! *HUGS* I do see you around, and it makes me SO HAPPY every single time I do. I hope you're doing good?

Oh, how would I want it to play out... I'll admit, most of the time I think about how I find it likely to play out. I guess the main answer is that I would like it to play out hesitant, with the biggest obstacle being Buck and Eddie's own self-doubts. I don't want them to be in agony over being in love with another guy. Maybe a bit of wondering about how they could have been so oblivious for so long, but I want there to be joy, you know? I want there to be JOY in discovering and embracing all of these warm feelings they have for each other, and to both be in a place in their lives where they've been through enough, have seen enough, know their loved ones well enough to know that the "But he's a man... As are you" part doesn't fucking matter. I want THAT to be the point of this 'slightly older guys fall in love with each other' angle to be. But I still want them to be hesitant over the possibility of losing their friendship.

So I would love for both of them to realize their feelings. Maybe even because of the same event? But they're both too in love and too in need to keep the other one in their lives to risk it, so they both decide to bury it. But step by step, things slip through. They notice things. They're not sure if these things are real or wishful thinking. They start consulting one (!) trusted person. Buck obviously turns to Maddie, the person who knows him the best outside his romantic partner. Eddie turns to Chim, the one friend he has who's more or less in the same place in life as him. Both confidants are sworn to secrecy! Maybe some hilarity ensues. And eventually it's Madney's inability to keep things from each other that brings things to a collision at a family dinner with all four of them there.

And I just... after the comedy bits are done, I just want this silence around the table, and this sense of wonder from both Buck and Eddie when they try to digest that the person that they think is the most incredible one in the world actually feels the same way about them. Like, they're just sitting there, staring at each other, trying to process it. And Madney realize what's going on, so they leave, giving them space to talk. Which they're going to! But when they first try, all awkward, and taking hesitant steps towards each other, they find themselves kissing first, because they have been dying to do that for so long, they're practically parched for it.

TBH, now that I think about it, even though They Played Themselves is a circus AU, and the main catalyst for revelations is Chris, not Madney, the resolution dynamics I described here - that's what I was going for there as well. So yeah, I'd really like that. I don't think the show is likely to give us that, but...

CHARACTERS

Aslan Jade Callenreese - Because of COURSE he is. Plenty of places to read about why that is but just know, he is precious and I know he deserved better.

Shorter Wong - Just a funny lil guy. But to know the walls that would have divided Ash and Shorter which they would have broken down to have such trust and peace between them makes everything that happened that much more devastating.

Eiji Okumura - To paint Eiji as some harmless little cinnamon roll does his character such an injustice. He was gentle but he was fearless and could be fierce and had such a teasing sense of humor. I adore him for who he was to Ash but also because he could be sassy and obstinate.

Jessica Randy - Bad bitch with a gun. Adore her for being just as mean as Ash and not treating him like glass but also being sympathetic in those moments where they really connect.

MOMENTS

Admittedly, I wound up having to stop watching Banana Fish part way through because it was so devastating and I was triggered. ✨ Took a month long break before I finished it and I have not watched it since. It just haunts me. I thought I'd read the manga but haven't brought myself to though I did buy Vol. 19 so I could get some closure.

Ash and Eiji's immediate gravitation toward one another from him just giving Eiji his gun?? and from the way he watched with awe how Eiji pole vaulted over fence and effectively saving them. Such a funny way to set up such an unlikely but perfect pair.

Ash shooting from atop the truck and everyone retreating into the Manhattan? river.. THE WAY SHORTER INSTINCTIVELY GRABBED EIJI?

Ash showing Eiji how to shoot in Connecticut, the way he softened up like they were just kids playing but then immediately had to retreat back to being Ash Lynx when he noticed other people watching.

How, even in his betrayal, Shorter did what he could to protect Eiji while in the mansion.

When they busted Ash out of the mansion, that moment of clarity when he realized Eiji was there for him.

Jack-o-Lanterns.

Every single father son moment Ash had with Max.

The moment Max burned Ash's photos. I could actually bawl right now thinking about it?

Yut Lung's revenge on his brothers.

Ash's triumph over Rick Fox.

CHARACTERS (have a funny way of not making it to the end of the series, huh?)

Levi Ackerman - I think I just like people who are burdened and damned.

Hange Zoe - Their personality did not fit the confines of life behind the walls and yet.. there they were. Brilliant, quirky, compassionate and curious. But eventually carried the weight of the whole world which blotted out their smile.

Sasha Braus, Connie Springer, Jean Kirstein - My favorite trio. From Jean's artistry, to Connie's horrible comedic timing and Sasha's insatiable hunger. Just a recipe for hilarity.

Mikasa Ackerman - Admittedly, she lost her edge and appeal later in the series which is such a shame. I mean, they brought it back for the ending but just feel like her being this OP bad ass could have had a personality consistently to match.

MOMENTS

Attack on Titan had such exquisite exposition. This is definitely a series I always wish I could watch and read for the first time again. From the world building to the fact that, just when you get settled into understanding everything, your perspective on that world is completely rearranged. Now as a veteran watcher, crazy to find all the easter eggs that were hidden in plain sight.

The reveal at Utgard tower + their success in the box - As their first line of defense is fighting against dwindling stamina and dulling blades. Offset by the impossible odds of the newbie squads' success. Devastating.

Flegel Reeves' takes on the MP's - THE REVEAL. Also, what a way to emphasize their corruption in front of those shitty run down buildings. It was such a heart swelling moment.

Levi vs. Kenny in the city - their backstory and the animation of him flitting around and dodging bullets.

Battle at Shinganshina - From Erwin's incredible speech, Connie's awful joke and the difficult decision Levi had to make. SO MUCH. Such a phenomenal succession of chaos, honestly.

THE MARLEYAN REVEAL. Bro, are you kidding me??? With a whole new understanding of oppression and classism within the world.

The scouts experiencing life outside of the walls - Especially the clowns, the cars and the ice cream.

Massacre in Marley - The chaos of the attack on Willy Tybur's play to recapture Eren but also showcase the growth of the Scouts in Paradis and the fact that their freedom still came at the cost of other people who also weren't free.

Sasha Braus' Murderer's reveal - Gabi and Falco finding their way to the Braus' was one thing. But to be turned upon by someone who wanted to help them get back home and the only Maryleyan they met because of Sasha while being spared by her father? What a turning point.

Ymir's origin story and how that devolved into the world her descendants suffer in now.

FINDING OUT EREN WAS BEHIND EVERYTHING!? Even the death of his own mother and the slaughter of the royal family perpetrated by his father. All to engineer a future where he, too, knowingly would be killed. Knowing this and rewatching it just... it was there all along.

ALSO Levi Ackerman's back story from the OVA - man has been suffering since birth.

Recalling all of this makes me want to rewatch AOT again, TBH.

Ooh, since you’re a currently practicing bridesmaid, here’s a hypothetical: if Dan and Blair were to get married, who do you think would end up being in their wedding party, and what do you imagine the vibes would be like? It struck me how funny and strange it would be from the outside looking in that Blair’s best friend and likeliest maid of honor pick and Dan’s best guy friend and likeliest best man pick are each other’s first loves and publicly significant exes, and that just made me wonder what the rest of their wedding party would end up looking like and what sort of bizarro wedding events would be born out of that lol

*bride's bestie from grad school is a bridal shop manager for a wedding dress designer so she works in the wedding business and knows all.

but to answer your question..........i don't think dan and blair would really have attendants at their wedding?

i guess the dair wedding for me depends on the context and shape of how they get together/what they want their wedding to be. so like, if we're going with canon (up to s5 because I am who I am), where blair had the big blowout white wedding that became a total disaster, I don't see blair much wanting to repeat that pageantry, especially since to her, she really frames her relationship with dan as Different. ("done with fairytales...time to be real again etc") which is why I really just envision them eloping. because they are also very aware of the...ouroboros that is their family & friends & exes so I foresee them choosing just not to fuck with that at all and elope in private.

but, that does open up its own potentials for drama and/or hilarity. Maybe they do ask a couple people. Maybe the only person they feel cool having witness is Nate and/or Dorota. what happens when they have to tell everybody else? I bet Rufus and Eleanor go nuclear. Alison & Harold & Roman are happy/relieved they don't have to worry about a Wedding. Lily's bummed to miss out planning an Event. Serena is amused but also grateful to be spared the mixed feelings of that particular wedding. Jenny and Eric sit in a corner and watch it all go down with popcorn.

but if we're doing a canon divergence that happens prior to Blair's royal wedding.......I don't know. I still think they might avoid the attendants question --- or maybe dan's would be vanessa & jenny and blair's would be serena & nate. I've explored a little of these possibilities in the wedding fic of the miloverse

Serena & Nate plan Blair's bachelorette, and I see it going very similar to the one we see. dive bar, shots, blair getting arrested for drug possession & harassing an officer (vanessa, who's definitely also at that party, is like "waldorf, I've never liked you more.")

vanessa plans dan's and it's basically just a weed fueled weekend film festival, he gets really sappy and emotional like, "I just love her so much, and she's marrying me." and jenny and vanessa are falling over each other trying not to laugh. and nate has long since fallen asleep because he cannot do subtitles.

what else can I make up? dan and blair have a plurality of parents so they form cliques. eleanor & lily (plus rufus and cyrus just holding their purses and cracking jokes) and harold & roman & alison talking about art and film and hogging all the good red.

uhhhhhh blair can do whatever she wants but jenny claims sartorial control over dan. blair allows it, one less thing for her to worry about.

georgina is told nothing/sent nothing/no announcement, no invite, but she sends a gift anyway. it's sex toys.

they have the wedding at The Strand. they probably sneak off together before and after the ceremony.

Grimmora would also be able to keep her more happy attitude with realism with magic as its more of system/skill. Mags would take death and the undead pretty good as well because. bro is just a lil insane all around. Also consider a skull army that he wont stop lying to and say they'll come back to life eventually. L3sh, Scybe of Technology.

He's still stoic and very immersed in his world, However now with a new technological theming. He makes sure to have the player learn about the intricate details of the tech they use. He's kinda like a happy old I.T. guy, Using all of his tech to its max potential. Its very early and traditional 60's and 70's era stuff, Whereas P03's was futuristic 80's. He tries to make sure that it can be easily grasped for most however most 60-70's tech is just a mess no matter what. He made all his limbs wires that can extend and compress, Expand and slim. So yes he is tall and muscly but also no bro is bobot he aint got shit. This also applies to his hair that flows all the way down his back but he usually doesn't mess with it, In fact the wires there probably aren't even connected to anything he just thinks they look neat. apart from occasionally oh you know. Tearing people apart to try and 'give them a fair playing ground.' he's normal i swear you guys.

ON P0LRIOD/L3SH X phoe

Yes they are still divorced. The same reasons, L3sh is neglectful at times and Phoe can be an asshole. L3sh can be too logical as well and has a rule of 'If you can, So can I. If I can't, then you'll never.' Which can be really degrading sometimes. He would even consider himself better than Peo at times, If not barely an equal. Leshys capability mixed with P03's cockiness makes an occasional asshole. They probably got divorced bc of L3sh's murder experimentation problems and also going weeks on end ignoring Phoe. Bro just check on your husband please.

Unsure of how he makes cards yet, So heres a few options!

-He makes his cards by taking parts of you and tech-ifying you. Your mind isn't necessarily required, As long as he's got like an eyeball and a leg you're fucked. You get transferred once he's finished by 'rewiring and applyinh new hardware upgrades.'

-He still takes a picture, however. its a literal copier. like a fucking business copier but bigger. You know the ones, that are all chunky and shit and have like only 3 buttons and are barely hanging onto life. then you get sucked into the card. This one might be my favorite out of pure hilarity.

-He consumes you with those wires that act as his hair, And then meticulously rips out the most important/cherished parts of yourself out before turning into a card that exits out of his chest plate. This is the most personal out of the options here. and possibly sexual now that i think about it? Have fun dying i guess

All i can think about is Robin while talking to Dusk asks how their brother "Eclipse" is doing or asking Sun how "Horizon" is doing, mixing up the names to either of them but neither Dusk or Sun notice. They just happily talk about their brother and how he's doing.

Robin now sitting there going "well shit these three are related to each other" still somehow not realizing that Sun and Dusk are the same body and is just thinking it's one confusing family.

That would be such a dumb reveal because it's like "Oh I know your brother Sun! He's my neighbor. Why don't you visit him?" and Dusk is just a deer in headlights trying to process everything.

So Y/N does their little test, goes "Hm alright weird coincidence that I work with one and one lives with me, but I guess it's fine? Either I'm good at my job or they don't talk much either since they don't know I know the other. Oh well! (:" and then continues on their merry way

So during a mission, when Dusk shares another story...

"So then we - ugh, actually... It's been funny for a while I but I guess I should mention there's also -"

"Oh don't worry, I know about your other brother. He rents from me."

Robin is so entirely nonchalant by that point, having heard so much private information over the past few weeks that they don't mind sharing this much either, and Dusk bluescreens.

So not only does Robin know about Sun, but they also casually revealed their identity, and somehow still don't know about Dawn?

Takes a moment, but then also figures, that, well... Sun mentioned talking to the landlord more often and a lot about Eclipse, and given the situation, it probably was only a matter of time anyway. This might as well happen style.

"... Half the rent is coming from me."

Now it's on Robin to freeze.

"What?"

"Sun and I are one animatronic. Little bird, did you ever see me during the day? Or him during the night?"

Robin buffers for a moment, thinking. Comes up blank.

Hits him with the flat of their hand in indignation.

"Are you kidding me? You two have some sort of - of - are you literally Batman??? Wait. Wait. I never saw you at home either??"

"We live with you and can't drive, do we look like Batman to you? Apparently, the landlord missed me being mentioned due to being severely sleep deprived."

He spares a second to send them a withering (mock) glare.

"He does undercover missions as Dawn. That's how I get my intel."

Robin closes their eyes, taking a deep breath and mentally counting to ten.

Neither of them are scared, because they also grew closer thanks to how much Dusk shared. They are friends, not just rivals, and no matter what they have that.

Sun gets a very casual reveal too - Moon simply tells him about last night's conversation during the next switch, Y/N already passed out in bed, so it's not a 2 vs 1 situation. Some teasing for sure, but also just amused reminiscing once Sun's shock wears off, and then a seamless transition into "We all know, and we're okay" <3

(tennis players often come from wealth, much like f1 drivers — they can also be sponsored, sometimes by their country, but usually only if & while they're successful!!)

if you do well, you start to win, maybe you make money, more likely you're breaking even for a while (or even still losing). if you do REALLY well, then you're looking at more prize money and maybe sponsors, so then you can start making some real money out of this. but yeah it's CRAaaaaaazy how much money tennis players pay to play tennis lol!! it is 10000% a problem for getting underprivileged kids into tennis, there's a reason tennis is so white!

What episode got you invested in the show? Why?

I was pretty interested in the show from the first episode, but I think I was officially invested when I saw Agony of a Witch. I know it's much later, but that was the series' first major turning point, as many major stuff in the season had been building up to this and the next episode and it absolutely delivered. With Lilith's attempts to capture Eda, Eda's curse, Belos' introduction and of course the whole familial relationship between Luz and Eda. The driving force and heart of this episode. Pushing Luz to steal the healing hat and Eda to fight Lilith in one of the most awesome fight scenes I've ever seen, despite the curse flaring up. And those last moments after it takes over, with her saying goodbye to Luz and Luz having to back alone only to find out Eda had prepared with King a whole surprise for her... Titan, that's good angst.

2. Ramble about your favorite character of all time as much as you want. We're listening

Mmmmm, that's a bit tough. This show has a lot of characters I love, but the favorite of all time is a constant change between Luz and Hunter. Luz gets a bit of a bonus though, for also being my highest kin, so let's talk about her!

Luz is amazing! Absolutely amazing! She's an eccentric, wonderful girl who starts out treating the Boiling Isles as her dream magical playground but then grows to actually understand and love it for what it is, along with all the wonderful people she meets there, who she helps grow just as much as they help her. Also, in that firt regard, and combined with the fact that she gets in over her head sometimes, Luz makes mistakes over the course of the show, but isn't afraid to take responsibility for them (sometimes more than she has to) and try to fix them. And watching her grow, with every mistake and every act of kindness, was a truly wonderful journey.

I've mentioned in some other posts, that I have been in her shoes, spending a good chunk of my life in an environment that wasn't kind to me, but then leaving and finding my place somewhere else, so watching her flourish in the Boiling Isles really resonated with me, as did her whole personality. Apart from that, Luz also reminded me of the girl I used to be: an outspoken, loud little weirdo that wouldn't give up until she was sure she and others like her were heard and understood. A part of me that got beaten out before I found my Boiling Isles, and I still sometimes struggle to hold onto. But then I remember Luz and her story. I remember that it's okay to embrace and celebrate being a weirdo, that I don't have to beat myself up and punish myself for making mistakes, that it's okay if I still need time to figure out some stuff about myself and my life. And that there are people who will love me not despite my weirdness, but because of it.

3. Favorite episode? Why? Ramble as much as you'd like.

Thanks to Them! Without a doubt! (I gave in another ask a brief explanation, but since here I have a free pass to ramble, ramble I shall!)

In all honesty I was expecting this episode to feel small and maybe too fast and lacking, wondering how they would fit so much in one episode (screw you disney again!). But everything in it just fit so well! The opening segment was just amazing, giving us a charming montage of the Hexsquad's time in the human realm and I was sure the crew had fun putting it together.

Speaking of the Hexsquad, they were all so so great. Every little interaction they had with each other was an absolute hit, with moments of absolute hilarity like the exploration of Gravesfield, and also lot of heart like Luz and Hunter's moment in the basement of the shack.

As a matter of fact, much like my other favorite episodes in the show, Luz and Hunter were both in a very interesting place in this story, with the first being the worst she's ever been and the second standing in the middle of the best and the worst, constantly going back and forth. It was a great character exploration for them both, seeing them both trying to deal with the aftermath of S2's final events and how the others tried to help them, before...

Before the final act happened and all hell broke loose once again. No matter how many times I watch it, this part of the episode always hits me like a truck. The amazing build up, the creepy atmosphere, the fight scene, Hunter finally standing up to Belos, Flapjack's sacrifice, Luz opening up and the return to the Boiling Isles with Mama Camila this time... If Agony of a Witch is good angst, this is the best angst! (Flapjack's death crushed me tho. I was nearly catatonic after I first watched the episode)

10. What's something you wished would happen? Can be as nonsensical as you'd like.

There are lots of things I could put here (again screw you and your shortening, disney!), but the first thing that came to mind was having the hexsquad be a bit more involved in the finale. I loved the final battle with the owl fam and having Raine there was also great, but I wish the others could be there too. In my opinion, Hunter deserved to give at least a punch in Belos' face. And Amity deserved to see Luz in her Titan form.

15. Favorite antagonist? Why?

The man, the bitch, the legend, Emperor Belos himself. This guy has got to be one of the best villains to ever come out of a work of fiction, and one of my favorite characters in the show.

Now, Belos is a lot of things: a liar, a necromancer, a murderer, an absolutely terrible person, but above all, he's a tragedy. A tragedy of circumstance, but also most of all, of choice. There are parts of his story that explain (big emphasis on that word) why and how he got where he is, like growing up to be a witch hunter and then Caleb, his only family, leaving him for a witch, but he still had multiple chances to get better, like his brother did. And he just made wrong choice after wrong choice, digging himself deeper and deeper, until the little boy that liked playing with his brother was gone and all that was left was a monster made of mud.

Also, backstory aside, Belos is also so good at being a villain. Every time he is on screen, it feels like everything goes still and everyone's on edge. His scenes as Emperor establish how much of a threat he is, not just because he's a powerful magic user, but also because he is in control. Especially in scenes in S2, like the last scene in "Follies at the Coven Day Parade", where the audience and the heroes know he's up to no good and yet everyone else is cheering for him, completely unaware. And that's the thing. Lots of other villains, when in positions of power, use fear to control the people, but Belos aside of that, also uses and twists good things, like unity, to trick them into falling in line.

Which is why I found his last moments so satisfying. When he tries to pull that shit again and trick Luz and give himself some sense of control again and she is just not having it. *glances at all the fic fragments in my "Ideas I Probably Won't Write" folder in shame* Okay, so I have a few ideas here.

Steve/Thor getting together fic where neither of them realized they were into men until they met each other, so Steve goes to Sam and Bucky for help because they're in a happy relationship and maybe they could give him advice/help him out, and Thor goes to Loki and Valkyrie because they're both queer and maybe they can give him advice/help him out, and hilarity ensues because of all the "helpful advice." I would love to write this fic, but I have so much trouble writing Steve, and humor really isn't my strong suit. I have the whole thing plotted out, but I just don't think I'm the right author for it. Alas.

Another SamBucky fake dating fic. Look, the fake dating trope is one of my all time favorites, and SamBucky is my favorite ship. I just want more of these fics because I love them so much.

This is kind of maybe self-indulgent or whatever, but I remember seeing a post somewhere where someone (I cannot for the life of me remember who) said they wanted to write a sequel to "The Promise of Cheesecake and a Decent Wine." I want to read that sequel. I want to know where they would take the story next if they ever did write it. But also I think this is maybe a little bit of a cheap answer because I think if that author wanted to try to co-write a sequel to that fic, I might be willing to give co-writing a shot? Idk, that story feels done to me, but maybe they have a really compelling idea. I'm just really curious about it.

I could keep going for a long long time, but I feel like this is probably a good stopping point before I just start listing every fic in this file lmao.

Just my two cents as an aro, I love gen fic and theres never enough! But relationships that are open to interpretation as qpps, besties, or as romantic can be fun too 😌 especially if the other characters can not figure out whats going on 😆

Honestly, most of the ships I wanna do just because it's cute, I'm focusing on relationships between a community of people and well... romance can happen in the background sometimes, and also adds bits of hilarity here and there

Elesa/Skyla: Elesa pining despite dating still, getting egged on by Emmet (and now Ingo) to just PROPOSE ALREADY YOU BIDOOFUS, getting one-up'ed by Tiny the gianty birdy stealing her GF's attention, etc. Elesa trying to figure is Dawn would mind her stealing her bird. That kind of thing!

Iris/Cilan: SIBLING OWNING. Ingo and Emmet teasing her playfully, her an Cilan turning around to be either sickly cute or bickering like an old married couple, constant jokes after they start dating about if he's dating her or Ingo and Emmet because hero worship and general train-nerding (*giving her shit*"Wait, that was an option?" "....." "...I am dating you.")

Drayden/Clay: FUCKING. HILARIOUS. DADS MARRIED AND NO ONE FUCKING KNOWS IN OVER 30 YEARS. THEY WORK IN THE SAME LEAGUE, RUN IN THE SAME CIRCLES, HAVE SIMILAR INTERESTS, BUT NO. ONE. KNEW. HOW, FATHER?!?!?!? HOW?!?!?! Also, congrats Clay! (Ingo, Emmet, and Iris IMMEDIATELY turning on the parent/child dynamic with Clay, calling him things like 'Pappy', 'Pop-pop', 'New favorite father', etc. and Clay's just staring them down with a blank-to-unamused face but inside he's all sparkles and happiness)

Dawn/Lucas/Barry: 1000000x funnier if Lucas and Barry started dating after Dawn disappeared, now she's back and they have NO CLUE how to tell her, but then also realizing, OH NO OH FUCK they have a crush on her too! And they both think they're like. Betraying the other until they crack and just stare at each other like 😯😯Now they're like OK CAN WE WORK WITH THIS??? but OH NO WHAT IF SHE DOESN'T LIKE US! OR WORSE!!! ONLY LIKES *ONE* OF US!!! So you've got this pair of dramatic boys trying to figure out how to get their BFF into their polycule and Dawn is over here not noticing a DAMN THING.

Until they bungle it and tell her they're dating but forget to like. Ask if she ALSO wants to date them? So now she's over here crying into her Castillacone because her BFFs are dating and she's happy for them but also sad because she missed it and uhhhh oh is she jealous??? All the while Ingo is just like 'Thank the sweet dragons I'm not a teen anymore'. Emmet - 'Cheers to that!' But like, most of it happens in the background while Ingo, Emmet, and Elesa are like ???????? Are the kids okay?????? Why is Dawn texting me sad Skitty pictures??????? Why is Lucas laying down in that puddle????? Barry... Barry's as frantic as usual but it adds up!

Irida and Adaman is funny in that it explains EVERYTHING about Barry in one fell swoop. And Dawn's over here like 'Man, it really was all just courting rituals!' Ingo - 'Let's not go there please'

And really, do I have to explain why the one-sided Melli/Ingo is hilarious in this context?

And if we add in the Pokemon (I'M GETTING TO GALVANTULA AND GLISCOR) it's even worse-slash-better. You've got Lady Sneasler polycule-ing it up with Excadrill and Chandelure in a weird way that works for them while ALSO winning with her horde of Weavile-himbos. And Archeops/Tiny because BIIIIIRDS and boy is Emmet not ready for THAT ONE. Willow and one of the twins Klinklang, forever destroying Dawn's peace because she DOESN'T UNDERSTAND HOW! CALL HER A DAYCARE LADY CUZ IT DON'T MAKE SENSE! The oddity that is Cress and his Basculin/Quilfish combo...

Pokemon breeding is SO FUNNY when you add in trainers that are utterly baffled.

(And it's so funny because neither Ingo or Emmet even NOTICE. GLISCOR IS SO WHIPPED FOR GALVANTULA AND LADY SNEASLER IS CO-MOM-ING ALREADY AND TINY AND ARCHEOPS ARE MAKING EYES BUT THEY HAVE NO CLUE)
