Urban Legends absolutely DROPPED the ball when it came to even WHISPERING abt Doug Thomas, and the last mention of either Doug or Elaine was this year’s DC Power special, where it just RANDOMLY dropped that both Elaine & Doug are dead like???????????????????? (It was in one of those Character Bio pages and it was so fuckin disheartening to see like 😭 & like I get that most ppl hear ‘dukes parents were jokerized’ and automatically assume that means they were killed via joker venom/gas/etc but like… Licherally just picking up WAR or BatS you’ll see that they’re very much alive in both of those like????)

Only explanation is that (ALLEGEDLY) dc’s editors aren’t actually doing any kind of fact checking or collaborating with their writers. a tiny little zine inspired by @koddlet’s how-to! (i love your zines, they’re so fun and inspiring!) i first just folded it out of a sticky note for fun and put it in my pocket thinking “i’ll fill this in later when i have an idea” and then i looked outside and it was so. fucken dark. and here we are :) i really loved treating it as an exercise in “draw whatever comes to mind, let it be as shitty as possible, just try something” — drawing isn’t something i think of as my strong suit but little doodles sure are fun!

#looking at this again as i add the IDs i think i made the darkness angled the wrong way lol #whatever #this was so fun and freeing!!!#if it was larger i probably would have added another scene and some more commentary to explain the sunset scene—#i get really picturesque sunsets where i live and it’s tempting to take them for granted but i don’t want to #so whenever someone comments on it i make a point of fully getting up and looking and just Appreciating it for a minute #every time #even when i’m kind of annoyed that it’s already getting dark when i need the daylight to motivate me to Do Stuff lmao #(how to make this story more stressful: imagine the book on page 3 is a required reading book and i have to read 8 chapters by the next day #but overall it’s just a snippet of my winter nighttime mood :)#penguin’s ponderings #i hope that’s my tag for og posts. i forget tbh

#saint seiya #saint seiya fanart #los caballeros del zodiaco #sagittarius aiolos #I remember reading somewhere (either a post or some wiki page idk) how aioros is often revered as the perfect saint an almost divine figure #and I’m pretty sure aioros initially refutes being the next pope saying saga would be a better fit (it’s 4am so correct me if I’m wrong)#anyway I watched some of kotz for fun and saw that scene. he seemed rather upset at the news but a sense of distress I can’t really describ #even when keeping in mind that he was only 14 I don’t think it was the responsibility that comes with being a gold saint/pope successor #but more combining the first bit of being highly viewed. he seems like a rather humble guy who’s rather content with risking his life #or has at least excepted that fact. but when seem as more than a simple soldier it makes him uneasy. because he knows he’s not a god #yet is put in such position that when adding his sacrifice at an early age he’s practically legend. and despite the initial denial he will #always be obedient enough to accept the duty placed upon him. this is all to simply say I tried drawing him smiling but it didn’t look righ #so ye. I’ve been wondering if they really did stay the night or if they went home. BUT NOPE.

They fs heard Lanyon and Jekyll last night. And even if they didn’t, still highly suspicious that the two went to Jekyll’s room and didn’t come back out.

I’m so confused on what they know, because Sage said Jasper was off-screen giving Henry a thumbs-up during the kith. But were the rest of them watching?

Jekyll probably would’ve been fine with Jasper seeing the smooch, but I can’t imagine him being alright with the rest of the bunch seeing. Unless he really did say fuck it and was very open about his very not-just-friendly feelings towards his homie.

We definitely have bigger things to worry about, but I NEED ANSWERS.

Hi! These are my TBR shelves. My goal this year has primarily been getting this down to a reasonable number. I made a rule where I can’t end a month with more on my physical TBR than I started with and right now I’m over that and I can’t read enough books before June to make up for it (my preorders this month got out of hand and I’ve been writing more than I’ve been reading).

I’m looking for suggestions on where to cull! So please, please snoop through my shelves and give me your opinions?

I spent 9 hours on an attack and the owner of the character loved it, but only when he reffered to his character as „he” did I realise i might’ve accidentally genderbent him 😭😭😭 i thought he was a muscular woman

I’ll wait for artist’s response but i’m willing to reupload the attack (or at least send a DM) with the correct gender presentation bc the last thing i want is for someone to feel upset over my art (he specifically said he doesn’t want genderbends in his character permissions)

#my posts #rambling #on the character’s page he was reffered to by it/its pronouns; but it was in reference to his abilities #but i read it as in reference to the character; so i misunderstood #I don’t think the artist even noticed the fact i made the character a woman #bc a lot of my characters are gender non-conforming so some of my women just look like men #but i addressed it anyway bc it would be unfair to try to hope that the artist didn’t notice the slip-up #especially when it’s explicitly stated as an issue in character permissions #I should’ve paid more attention or maybe ask next time; tho i like the element of surprise when attacking ppl #but i think the artist’s comfort is more important than surprising them (even if that’s nice)
