Wanted to do some art of @circusinarun's swap AU of warrior Penelope (here). I want to do art and so much other stuff for the EPIC musical in general (especially since the last saga is so soon RAH), because it got me back into mythology. But I don't think I'll be doing any until after it's over.

But that doesn't mean I can't do AUs! (Hope you don't mind I used my ver. of Ares for this Kobi; it let me figure out more of his design like changing his helmet)

. . . they are best friends, right? They probably aren't, but Ares isn't that well liked by the other gods, so I think him being best friends with Penelope would be cute! Idk, it's probably me just being a fan of Ares that I don't want him to be friendless lmao.

I'm so curious on how this AU would flow, you know? Like, is Calypso a human in this AU that replaces Antinous in Little Wolf; and if so, who's on Antinous Island (don’t mind this question I can’t read)? Does Calypso trap Penelope there, if she is a goddess (ignore this too I still can’t read)? Who would Ares argue with in place of Aphrodite, or would she be in the challenge of God Games anyway? I'm assuming Eurylochus is replaced by his wife Ctimene, but is Polites in the same role?

It's a lot of questions that aren't that serious, it's just a fun AU, but I'm a curious person who loves details. I especially like thinking about how God Games would go, since no one really likes Ares other than his family, lover, and those who associate with him like Eris. It'd be on hard mode for him and it makes me sad to think about, yet so intrigued on how he'd convince them all; especially Hephaestus and Athena, but I feel like she wouldn't be so hard to convince... just stubborn against her brother to agree.

This account is actually a side blog (not even it’s own blog, just a side one) because my main account is followed by my sister and I’m sorry, but I am not letting her see the art I made for a Percy Jackson/Epic the Musical fanfic that I wrote. Basic summary: ghost Odysseus and Perseus end up haunting Percy and become his New Dads™️ (Poseidon fucking DESPISES them)

Do I know how anatomy works? No. Am I going to learn it all? Maybe. Am I going to learn it all for some silly little sketches I made for my fic? Of course not. People who actually know how to draw anatomy (or just draw in general), I sincerely apologize.

This one was because of a Tumblr post I saw at 11:00 PM and I thought ‘oh, this fits them perfectly’ and then spent thirty minutes drawing this before immediately going to sleep. First time I ever drew Percy. Never again. (The first guy’s Perseus, by the way. Second guy is Odysseus.)

This happened because I was talking with someone who was commenting on Like A Victorious Hero and they mentioned a scenario where Zeus attempts to hug Perseus and Perseus immediately starts cursing him out and telling him to go away. It tormented me for about a week before I gave in and drew it since I didn’t feel like writing it out. I chose Neal Illustrator’s Zeus design for it and if you look at Perseus for like, two seconds, you’ll see some minor similarities (mostly the hair).

Maybe I’ll add some more another day. Not now, though, because it’s late and I’m tired. Please don’t kill me, I know I’m not Good At Art.

MONTHLY MFIP UPDATE✨✨

9/24 | Month 2 | Next Month | Month 1

Hey folks 🦐 I finally got the chance to make this month’s MFIP Update cuz god damn life was kicking my ass. College is fine for the most part tbh, just a lot of reading and writing cuz of the specific classes I chose. HOWEVER I have 💥FUCKING PMDD💥 so um skill issue on my part but it’s why I’ve been kinda exhausted as shit this week and was late with the update so my bad folks! (Also for more info on PMDD, click here! I don’t wanna spend this post yapping about it but wanted to leave a resource to spread awareness just in case :3). Also, Imma be tagging some of y'all who have been reading/supporting MFIP consistently just for this post, so yk you guys actually know these updates exist. I was gonna do that for the first ever update but as with many things, I forgor, so I'm doing it now! They’re supposed to come out on the 18th of every month, but yk sometimes life happens and I’m a lil late. It won’t be any earlier than the 18th tho so look out for these once it hits that date! Anywho, cheers to this month’s update!

Alrighty folks we be starting with the Art~!

Alrighty so obvious new thing, WE GOT RAPH’S REF SHEEEEEEEET TEEHEEEEEEE

BRO IM SO HYPE ABOUT IT! It turned out so genuinely amazing and I’m ridiculously proud of it! Especially cuz I honestly thought Raph was gonna be a harder design to figure out yk? I’m not used to drawing his body type, I wasn’t as familiar with his outfit, and even tho I’ve sketched him a few times before, I was just a bit nervous with Raph. Funfact, he’s also been the hardest to figure out how to write back when I was first starting MFIP. I genuinely don’t know why, but I got there eventually (I actually really love writing him now—) and same thing happened with his design!

Since MFIP’s taking place a few months after the Krang invasion, i’m able to take creative liberties and update the boys’ designs more! For some clarification btw, in my story’s lore, the invasion took place in September 2020, and MFIP starts on March 2021. Anywhizzle, my ideas for the boys’ designs is to combine their movie look with their show look, cuz while I do LOVE the black on them, it doesn’t feel right to me to not make them still unique in their own ways. These guys are all about authenticity, so why make their gear exactly the same, ya get me? I basically recolored his show gear to be black and red (and added a lil asymmetry on his legs) cuz I think it makes Raph feel older and more sure about himself, just feels right for him! I also just think the red fade on the black is hella cool! Fun lil color theory i think application, the black is more of a really dark, inky blue, so it makes the red pop out even more! I decided to make a bow out of his mask tails, too! I don’t wanna spoil the entire lore reasoning for it yet (it’ll pop up in the story), but I can indeed say it’s intentional that it looks a little like a lunamoth with damaged tails :3 I also took a BUNCH of creative liberties with his sais’ handles, since we haven’t really seen it much so like idk gaslight yourselves into thinking it’s always been this epic✨✨

Also I gave him his shorts back because FUCK YOU I LIKED THE RED TRIMMMM—

OH I ALMOST FORGOT yes he has longer eyelashes! I saw he grows to have really pretty eyelashes in the future cuz of his turtle species, and I wanted to lean into that by showing they’re starting to grow now :3

Bullshit Gag Because Yes‼️‼️

There ain’t shit to say about this, I just pulled a silly. I saw the fact Donnie was supposed to have a “Doctor Donatello” persona in the deleted episode where Dale turns into a werewolf. I’m really heavily on the train of Leo being the team medic and into medicine in general. I don’t think it makes sense for Donnie to be the medic judging by his sensory issues and this mf being as much of a germaphobe as my mom, and in my opinion it felt too stereotypical anyway to have Donnie be the medic. Ofc, to each their own, and this is just my interpretation of it, but I thought it’d be funny if Donnie still had this persona and was passionate about it, but was like horrifically bad at being a doctor. I made this dumbass sketch that I’ll finish sometime in the future (it’s gonna be a chapter in Arc 3 probably) and I just wanted to share it with yall~

I'll talk about them more another time when I have all of them on here~

Chapter Progress Time Whoop Whoooop‼️‼️

I didn’t make much progress on anything this month due to college—again, it’s fine, but there’s a shit ton of time management going on in my part to just manage everything and make sure I’m on track—BUT I am indeed still working on chapter 10. We’re up to 20 pages now which is only two more pages written from last month, but it’s kinda cool writing Donnie and I feel like I’m getting a better understanding of him! One thing I’ve been tryna do is understand autism better as a condition cuz I do wanna acknowledge and show bro’s autism instead of just ignoring it due to a lack of understanding. Donnie ain’t Donnie without it, ya know? I don’t know everything and tbh I would say I still have A LOT to learn on the subject matter, but I’m tryna expand my knowledge every opportunity I get and experimenting with how to better show it! This is to say tho, I’M NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, NOR AN EXPERT ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM. This is what I’m finding and comprehending via my own research, and can tbh end up being wrong so please don’t quote me as a reliable source, I’m still learning ;v;

I remember one of the things I kept hearing about was autism leading people to struggle with empathy. The best way I heard it being described was someone bringing the example of when their friend was upset. That person can’t truly feel their friend’s emotions because they’re not the one experiencing it, so can’t properly understand how it’s making their friend feel. But they can see that their friend is communicating their sadness, and they still try to comfort them and make sure their friend knows they’re there for support. I understood it as bringing logic to emotions in a sense; collecting data and figuring out how to handle the situation based on the data rather than using intuition alone.

I’ve been using that to figure out how Donnie might handle more emotionally subtle situations, where he might try to rationally work through what’s happening and kinda substitute it in place of natural empathy. Like the little tidbit I gave above! Instead of just automatically being able to get vibes that the other person is upset, I felt maybe Donnie would instead notice the fact their tone is kinda different from before; it’s basically a data point. With that data point in mind, he could connect it to past experiences where a tone change could indicate a mood change, and as a result he might conclude that Salena’s tone change means she’s upset. I comprehend it as manually working through empathy rather than it being second nature, if that makes sense. Obviously and thankfully Donnie isn’t gonna spend the entire chapter playing a guessing game or anything with Salena’s emotions, it’s just one lil moment that I thought was cool challenge to myself with when writing him! I really love putting myself in the characters’ shoes when I’m writing them or their dialogue. I highly recommend it as a tool too, since it's helped me a lot with staying in character!

Last Lil Segment Y'all

Aight so, I wanted to try doing something cool if y'all are up for it. I really love rambling about my story and lore and characters blah blah blah, but I don't really know how to do so tbh. I'm not that familiar with how social medias work cuz I just never took it seriously, and I don't wanna just keep being like HEYYYYY ASK BOX IS OPENNNNN like I'm screaming from the top of the hill either. Sooooo insteaddddd

I think it'd be fun to do Q&As here! Or at least something similar. I'll open my ask box again and feel free to send any questions you want; it can be about the story, past lore, design questions, getting to know the characters, absolutely anything! Then when I'm gonna do my update for the month, I'll compile all y'all's asks, (prolly will have to tag to make sure you guys know I answered it, or if you ask anon then uh idk look out for the monthly update) and then answer them during the monthly update as the last section! I think it'll be a cool way to make this feel more interactive, and gives me an excuse to ramble. Don't be afraid to ask potentially spoilery questions either! This is a fill for today’s @flashfictionfridayofficial [#FFF291 Stuff of Legends]  as well as my   @character-a-character-b    Rair Pair bingo C1 square:  A&B pulling a prank on someone together. 

Fandom: MCU/Marvel Pairing: Scott Lang/Clint Barton Rating: General Tags:  Avengers Compound, Avengers as Family, Pranks, Pining,, Love Confessions Summary:  Clint and Scott plan a prank to get their teammates to confess their attraction to one another - but things don’t quite go according to plan. Word Count: 974 words 

 “This would be a lot easier if we were tiny,” Scott muttered, following Clint through the air ducts of the Compound.  They were in the process of setting up what Clint claimed would be the most epic Avengers prank ever. ‘You know, stuff of legends-level!’ 

Scott wasn’t sure about that,  or whether the bruises and dust-bunnies were worth it. And then there was the dubious morality of the prank itself -  but getting to spend time with Clint? That was worth all the hassle.  Besides, Scott knew he had a habit of doing weird stuff to impress  a crush.

“I thought you had to be wearing a suit in order to shrink,” Clint replied over his shoulder,  “and I don’t think Hope’s would fit me.”

“Theoretically, the Pym particles don’t require the use of a suit. After all, An-tonio got sized up with no ill effects, as best we can tell.” 

“Yeah - I’d rather not take my chances,” Clint shot back, a grin in his voice.  “Here we go!”  He taped a speaker and a can  of house blessing spray  to the back of the living room air vent,  then attached the remote controlled gadget Scott had designed that would trigger the spray, along with the recording  they’d made earlier in the day.   Once everything was set up, they wriggled their way as quickly as possible back to Clint’s room. 

“Make sure to clean up a bit before dinner,” Clint warned him with a wink.  “Wouldn’t want them to suspect anything.”  

“Will do - see you in a bit!”  Scott made a mock-salute while trying not to fantasize about getting naked and wet with Clint.    He ambled back to his own room and took a quick and unfortunately solitary shower before joining the rest of the team for their weekly pizza and a movie night.   

It was Tony’s turn to choose the movie, so they’d probably be watching some sci fi action film that he would snark his way through, at least until Steve or Bucky asked him to stop.  It was clear that there was some serious UST between the three of them, and hopefully their prank would help clear the air, so to speak.

They waited until everyone had finished eating - no reason to ruin perfectly good pizza, Clint had reasoned - and had settled into their accustomed spots around the room.   As usual, Steve, Bucky and Tony claimed the largest sofa, conveniently located under the air vent  Clint and Scott had booby-trapped.   

Once the opening credits rolled, Clint glanced over at Scott and gave him a nod.  Scott pressed the button of the small remote hidden in his pocket.    Mere moments later,  a cloud of mist  billowed out from the vent, and a booming voice (actually Scott’s own, with a fake foreign accent and run through a modulator) announced.   “Foolish Avengers - did you think I could be so  easily vanquished?   Nay- and now I wreak my revenge - casting a spell that forces you to confess that which you have hidden from one another!”  

Steve and Bucky had leapt to their feet at the sound of the first word, which meant they both got a face full of the vapor.  “What the…” Bucky exclaimed, before a coughing fit overtook him. Steve was gagging and hacking as well; apparently super-soldiers were super-sensitive to aerosol sprays. 

“Friday? What’s going on?”   Tony asked, pulling the collar of his Black Sabbath t-shirt up over his mouth and nose as he pulled his companions back down to the couch. 

“I’m not sure, Boss.”   Scott was both immensely proud and a little ashamed of having hacked Tony’s AI so his and Clint’s venture into the HVAC ducts wasn’t observed and recorded.  “I’m having trouble identifying the makeup of the spray.”   

Time to roll out the next part of the prank.  Clint took the lead,  scrambling to his feet, dramatically placing one hand over his chest.  “Natasha - I’m so sorry!  Budapest - that was all my fault!” 

“What?”  Scott didn’t know what any of that meant, but he couldn’t tell whether  the shocked expression on her face meant Natasha was playing along or not.  His own declaration hit a little close to home, but Scott figured it might  encourage their targets to bare their souls a little as well. 

“Clint - I’m head over heels in love with you!”  Scott announced, throwing his arms wide.  The expression  of happy surprise  that crossed Clint’s face looked almost real, and Scott’s traitorous heart skipped a beat in return.  

“You are, huh?”  Clint pulled him into an embrace.   “Turns out I’ve kinda been carrying a torch for you as well, handsome.”  

The blood rushed to Scott’s cheeks even as he reminded himself that this was just part of the prank.   “Anybody else have something they feel compelled to confess?”  

“Uh….” Steve rubbed the back of his neck.  “Bucky and Tony and me have been stepping out for awhile.” 

“And by ‘stepping out’,”  Tony added, with a hint of a smirk,  “he means screwing like bunnies.  I’m surprised no one’s asked why I’ve been walking funny lately.”

“I didn’t need the sordid details,”  Natasha shrugged.  

Bruce sighed. “At least you’ve kept your amorous activities out of the lab….. right?” 

“I can neither confirm or deny.”  Tony shrugged apologetically before turning to face Clint and Scott, who were still standing with their arms around each other as they absorbed the results of their prank.  “It’s about time you two ‘fessed up to your feelings -  we were ready to lock you in a closet!” 

“What?”  Scott and Clint said practically in unison.  

“Bozhe moy”  Natasha muttered, shaking her head.  

“It’s like a forest’s worth of pining between you two,” Bucky groaned.  “Just go ahead and  kiss already.” 

“That’s an order,” Steve added in his Captain America voice. 

“Sir, yes sir!” Scott shot back, just before Clint took his breath away..

Epic the musical Catifed: I remade Penelope’s Ref!

AAAAGHH DJDHFJRHJDHSHD OKAY OKAY, so Ive been meaning to redo her ref for quite some time now, and it happens that I’ve been stressed enough lately to draw her! She’s literally one of my very top comfort characters for me right now, to be fair all of my comfort characters are extremely important but for this situation I’m in right now the comfort I need is from people like Penelope or Willow (from Wings of Fire).

anyways this ref has really helped me decompress and calm down, drawing Penelope has made me feel so safe and secure, literally I love Penelope in Epic so much.

I looove how she is in Epic the musical? Idk I feel more drawn towards her and more interested in her then the Penelope in the Odyssey.

though I guess in general when I say “I love -insert character who appears in EPIC” I’m usually talking about specifically the interpretation of Epic. Though I do have a genuine interest in Greek mythology and I want to get into more media that’s about it, the specific characters I’ve grown attached to are the musical ones!

like- people need to understand that Epic isn’t just “the odyssey as a musical” it’s a transformative retelling! And in many ways is it’s own story.

like- I think everyone can Agree that Ody in epic is a lot more nicer and moral then Ody in the Odyssey,

they literally aren’t the same character, and I hate when I see people bash on Odysseus in Epic because of their opinions of him in the odyssey.

Don’t get me wrong I LOOVE LOOVE the Odyssey and Iliad and other Greek myths but that’s simply just not the fandom I’m apart of.

Yes, Epic is still based on the Odyssey and a retelling of it, but it’s still Separate, and people shouldn’t act like it isn’t or act like what happens in EPIC reflects onto the odyssey. Like- don’t say “oohh but Odysseus isn’t that bad because in Epic-“ Stop. Don’t say that.

if you see them as separate from eachother then it shouldn’t matter to you people’s takes of the characters in the Odyssey because they aren’t the same as in EPIC. And really that goes for everything?

I’ve seen people bring up PJO(somehow???) a lot or that Circe book (literally don’t know the name of it) in regards to Epic and say “but in this!” Like- dude they are literally different retellings and interpretations it’s not like every Greek mythology story is connected or idk- canon to the Original Myths??? And don’t get me wrong you can make crossover AUs! I honestly LOOOVE seeing all of the PJO x Epic things I see!

but anyways stupid ramble over, I LOOVE LOOVEE DESIGNING PENELOPE! AAGGHHDHDHD I wanted her to appear very regal and well kept, she is a queen after all. But further more Penelope in Epic is a character who isn’t much of a physical fighter, rather she stands back and watches with calculating eyes and prudence. She has an unwavering will and a strong composure in the face of 108 nasty Suitors. She’s wise and clever. With all of this I wanted to give her more lengthy and soft features, as Penelope is someone many don’t expect to expertly win a battle with wits. She simply just seems to be the face of royalty. But I also gave her a strong long/thick tail to show her strength, she absolutely can beat the shit out of you with that tail, but she won’t. Because she doesn’t need to, since she has other more “civil” methods of wits to break you down. but in general EPIC Penelope is more reserved and calm, she doesn’t need to gaslight you or manipulate you, she just needs to trick you. She’s understanding and gentle, yet serious and worried. she stands tall hence why I made her that height. she’s also one of Odysseus’s leading motives, and a major support for him. I wanted Penelope to come across as someone you turn to for guidance or you lean into to cry. She’s a sturdy yet soft shoulder to cry on, something Odysseus desperately needs. (also Penelope just HAS to be taller then Odysseus I’m sorry- if you don’t make Ody in epic shorter then practically everyone what are you doing? /j)

First post yipee,this account will mostly be focused on posting epic/ odyssey content,mostly desings I do,starting with the bad guy cuz I had so many concept and ideas (sorry for the lack of consistency in faces)

First we gave the facial traits. I wanted to give him more wolf-ish traits or traits that are uncommon in humans and that even if,they are beautiful they would be seen as “this guy is not human” Wich shared with his personality will fit.

Or the “husky aesthetic” wich I made up while writing lmao.

Now bout the clothes and general looks. At the start I thougth this guy was sort of a contrary of odysseus

So I made him big,buff clashing with ody being a short king and not very buff

Then I realized it was the other suitor who could be more antítesis so I decided to still keep the body shape like that to do contrary with telemachus hence he has a beard and and more bodyhair despite (in my desing verse) him being at maximun 22

Now again about the clothes and jewerly

Based on the answer of hymnoneides(sorry if I wrote it bad) on how they see him as a rich pampered young man wich has sense after all I don’t think some guy could d try to woo the queen but again I wanted this “I’m so full of myself I show my body”(it doesn’t works)

His palette is mostly redish(with gold,greys and browns) we all know what red means:

Blood,violence,anger even passion wich mostly for bad than good are traits that represent this guy

Also a contrary of my telemachus design wich has more blueish calm colors

The jewerly is mostly me just drawing gold not more explanation

Same with the wolf pelt is based on the user that I put in the third image but other than that it’s just the vibes

If you asking why I want to do some telemachus-Antinous antítesis with looks n all

It’s just that for me they are like in very very simplified terms the good guy(tele) n the bad guy(Antinous)

Soooooo you know how you said I seemed like a Percy Jackson fan a while ago? Well I kept hearing it was good and eventually someone told me they were about to start reading it, so I decided why not? I’ll read the first couple of chapters!

That is to say, I just finished the first book!!!

I will say it’s not an immediate “I LOVE THIS SO MUCH” but I do really like it! The more I talk about with one of my siblings who’s never heard of it the funnier I think it is and the more I love it! It is a WILD book. Yknow George Washington? Yeah obviously he’s the son of Athena. THE GREEK GODESS OF WISDOM AND WAR. I just find it so funny how they explain real history with the Greek gods and goddesses XD

Also I KNEW IT. I LITERALLY WROTE IT DOWN BC I KNEW LUKE WOULD BE THE LITTLE BACKSTABBER VFEIHNCEFJINECFJINCFEIJNC

The chapter titles are genuinely so funny to me. Especially when I reach the chapter and I’m like, “oh yeah, that makes sense.” For example, the chapter title “We take a Zebra to Vegas”

OH AND POSEIDON!?!? BRO. YOU MEAN TERRIFYING, RUTHLESS POPO FROM EPIC, IN THIS UNIVERSE IS JUST SOME CHILL FISHERMAN!???!?!?!?! I love it. It was SUCH a shock tho. I had heard Poseidon was pretty chill in these books but I was NOT expecting that. And on that train of thought, literally all of the Greek gods are so goofy. Big scary Zeus looks like a grumpy CEO, Popo is a chill fisherman, Hades is honestly scary …until you get him on his rant about the traffic and expenses of the underworld XD and Ares’ design fits pretty well but it’s still funny that he’s just some punk biker. (I love all of them though and they have really great serious moments to)

The New World

Synopsis: When Y/n visits her ill grandmother, she is given an ancient red amulet along with a few cryptic last words, before her grandmother's death. Following her Grandmother's funeral, Y/n is inspecting the amulet when the starts above aligned in a mystical way, opening a way for Y/n to get sucked through worlds and find herself, unconscious in the middle of a hunting ground in a world she assumed was fictional. Watching a strange woman magically materialise in front of him, Bhallaladeva is starstruck and decides to take her into custody and seek her medical attention to find her identity and intentions.

In the midst of her routine, Y/n's world was abruptly disrupted by a phone call. On the other end of the line was Gowri, her closest friend and her grandmother's devoted caretaker.

“Gowri, what’s up?” Y/n asked casually as she balanced her phone on her shoulder, leaning her head down, sideways to keep it in place as she carried boxes.

“Y/n… I’m getting really worried about Grandma… She’s looking worse tonight than she usually does.” Gowri’s quiet and unusually worried voice, caused Y/n’s eyebrows to scrunch up in confusion as she placed her boxes down and held her phone using her hand.

“What do you mean?” 

“She just looks very fragile. I mean- She always does, but tonight it’s just… You should come visit her.” Gowri said.

Y/n wasn’t one to argue much, and she wasn’t one to decline an invitation to visit her grandmother either.

“Alright, don’t worry, I’ll be there soon,” Y/n answered, determined.

After closing up the antique shop for the day, Y/n hurried to visit her beloved Grandma, entering her room with a sense of deep concern etched across her face.

There, she beheld her grandmother, who appeared extremely frail and unwell, yet her spirit remained as mischievous as ever.

"Grandma… How are you feeling?" Y/n asked softly, her voice filled with genuine worry. Grandma mustered a weak but warm smile. 

"Oh, my dear Y/n, you worry too much. I'm just an old woman catching up with time." Her eyes twinkled with that familiar mischievous charm.

Y/n couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. She had been raised by her grandmother and shared an unbreakable bond with her. Seeing Grandma in this state was deeply painful.

The two talked for a while, reminiscing about old stories and cherished memories, their laughter occasionally punctuating the conversation.

It was a bittersweet moment, knowing that time was slipping through their fingers.

"Remember when you were just a little girl and I used to tell you stories of brave warriors and epic adventures?" Grandma asked, her eyes distant yet filled with nostalgia. Y/n nodded, her eyes misting with tears. 

"Yes, Grandma, those stories were my favourite."

Grandma's gaze became more intent, her voice gaining a note of urgency. "Well, my dear, I want you to have something special. Something that will keep those stories alive."

With a feeble yet determined hand, Grandma reached beneath her pillow and retrieved a small red amulet, placing it onto Y/n's palm. Y/n looked at the intricate design and felt its smooth surface against her skin.

"Grandma, what is this?" Y/n asked, her curiosity piqued.

"It's an heirloom, my child," Grandma whispered. "An ancient amulet that has been passed down through our family for generations. Keep it close to your heart, Y/n, for it holds a power beyond imagination."

The red amulet, a mystical relic, hung gracefully from a golden chain. Its circular pendant, meticulously crafted, bore a diamond-shaped pattern on its top. The gem, encased in a thick, pure-golden outer layer, radiated an otherworldly enchantment.

The surface of the golden casing was adorned with inscriptions in ancient text, weaving an aura of mystique around this cherished heirloom.

Y/n looked down at the amulet in her hand, its intricate design fascinating her. 

"But what is its significance, Grandma?"

"Dear one, this amulet you hold carries the whispers of forgotten worlds. In time, it may become your guide to a realm where dreams and destinies entwine."

Y/n's eyes widened with intrigue. 

"What do you mean, Grandma?"

Grandma continued, her words measured and enigmatic. "When the stars align, trust the heart that beats within. Decipher the path it chooses."

Y/n felt a shiver down her spine as the weight of Grandma's words sank in. 

"Grandma, this all sounds… foggy. What should I do with it?"

Grandma's eyes held a deep wisdom as she replied, "Keep it close, my child, and let your heart be your guide. The amulet will reveal its purpose when the time is right. It is a connection to something greater, something beyond our understanding."

As Y/n clutched the amulet, a sense of curiosity and anticipation filled her.

As Y/n left her grandmother's room, she clutched the amulet, her mind still swirling with the cryptic message.

Her footsteps were slow and contemplative as she walked back home.

Seconds turned into minutes as Y/n reached her own doorstep. She was deep in thought, trying to make sense of the cryptic message her grandmother had left her. The world outside was quiet, and she was about to unlock her door when her phone rang again, and it was Gowri.

Y/n picked up the phone, her voice hesitant. 

"Gowri? What's wrong?"

Gowri's voice, although filled with sadness, was more despondent than terrified. 

"Y/n, you need to come back to Grandma's place. Now."

Confusion washed over Y/n as she struggled to comprehend the urgency in Gowri's tone, barely being able to understand anything Gowri was saying through her choked sobs and tears. 

"What do you mean, something happened? Is Grandma okay?"

Gowri hesitated for a moment before delivering the heartbreaking news. 

"I'm so sorry, Y/n. Grandma... But you have to come immediately! Now!"

Y/n's heart seemed to stop. Y/n sprinted back as fast as her legs could carry her. When she arrived at her grandmother's place, her heart sank as she saw Gowri sobbing uncontrollably over Grandma's limp body. The room seemed to blur, and Y/n's world shattered into a million pieces.

She dropped to her knees beside her grandmother's lifeless form, her hands trembling as she reached out to touch her. The realization hit her like a tidal wave—Grandma had passed away in the few minutes that Y/n had been away.

Gowri's tear-filled eyes met Y/n's, and there was no need for words. The pain, the grief, the profound loss—they hung heavy in the air. Y/n's throat tightened, and her chest ached with the weight of her sorrow.

The amulet, once clutched tightly in her hand, had fallen to the floor unnoticed. In that moment, all that mattered was the emptiness left by her grandmother's departure.

The world had gone silent and still, and Y/n could do nothing but sit there, her heart shattered, as she mourned the loss of the woman who had raised her and who had left her with the amulet that now seemed insignificant in the face of her overwhelming grief.

The amulet, sensing the emotional whirlwind within Y/n – her grief over Grandma's death intertwined with the deep connection she had developed with the character Bhallaladeva – began to radiate with a mesmerizing light.

The glow emanating from the amulet grew brighter, casting an ethereal illumination in the room.

Y/n watched in awe and astonishment as the amulet's light danced and flickered, responding to the depths of her emotions and the celestial alignment above.

In that moment, Y/n sensed that something extraordinary was unfolding. She felt a connection, an invisible thread linking her to an unknown destiny.

As the celestial alignment painted the night sky with its rare and dazzling display, the amulet's latent magic awakened in response to this once-in-a-lifetime event.

It was as if the amulet had been waiting for this very moment, a convergence of cosmic forces that would set its mystical powers into motion.

In an instant, Y/n found herself transported through space and time, leaving behind the familiar world she had known, with nothin but the amulet inher hand.

The kingdom of Mahishmati materialised before her, or rather she materialised in front of it, its grandeur and mystique unfolding in breathtaking detail.

It was a bright, clear afternoon, with the sun ascending to its zenith, casting long, dramatic shadows that stretched across the majestic landscape.

When she materialized into this unfamiliar realm, Y/n found herself standing in the heart of a sprawling hunting ground that sprawled on the outskirts of Mahishmati.

This hunting ground was a wilderness of immense proportions, a realm where nature reigned untamed and untethered. Dense forests, their canopies reaching skyward, embraced the landscape, their shadows playing intricate games with the golden sunlight that filtered through the leaves.

In contrast, lush meadows rolled out as far as the eye could see, their verdant carpet interrupted only by the vibrant bursts of wildflowers that painted the scenery in a riot of colours. Nearby, a meandering river glistened under the radiant sun, its waters sparkling with a life of their own.

This sprawling hunting ground had long been a favoured haunt of the royal family, a place where they ventured for grand hunting expeditions.

But today, it served as the stage for an unexpected twist in the narrative, as Y/n, an outsider from another world, stood amidst its awe-inspiring beauty, an unwitting participant in the epic tale of Baahubali.

In the blink of an eye, she materialized out of thin air, as if summoned into existence from the very ether itself. One moment, there was nothing but the serene expanse of the hunting ground, and the next, Y/n stood there, disoriented and utterly perplexed.

“This way, I think I hear some kind of deer approaching.” 

“Over there!”

“What in the world…”

“My goodness…”

“This- This can’t be real…”

Bhallaladeva, a formidable presence leading a hunting party through the untamed wilderness of Mahishmati, and his hunting team were the first to witness Y/N's abrupt and mystifying appearance.

The very air seemed to ripple around her as she materialized before him, and for a moment, his keen eyes could scarcely believe what they beheld.

His initial reaction was one of sheer shock and alarm, his instincts as a warrior flaring to life.

In an instant, he brought his mighty steed to an abrupt halt, the powerful beast rearing up as it obeyed his command. The soldiers who followed in his wake did likewise, their horses snorting and whinnying in a chorus of confusion.

Y/N, meanwhile, still reeling from her sudden and inexplicable arrival in this foreign world, crumpled to the ground, falling unconscious on the lush green grass.

Bhallaladeva, his gaze fixed on this intruder, was immediately on high alert. His knuckles clenched tightly around the reins of his horse as he pondered the situation before him.

The soldiers under his command mirrored his uncertainty, their hands hovering near the hilts of their weapons. They could not discern whether Y/N posed a threat or if she was the unwitting victim of some dark and malevolent sorcery that had brought her here.

“What do we do Your Highness?”

“Should we perhaps lock her up?”

“Don’t be ridiculous! She could be an angel! Look at her clothes!”

“Or she could be a dark magic practitioner!”

“Maybe- Maybe a fairy of some kind? She sure looks the part.”

“Really? A fainting fairy? What’re you, six years old? Clearly, she’s some kind of evil witch!”

“Maybe use your brain for once. What if she is a poor subject to a dark magic practitioner? Look at the poor girl…”

Bhallaladeva’s soldiers argued as he stared at the girl in silence, pondering what to do. 

As the seconds ticked by, the hunting party remained suspended in a tense tableau, caught between wariness and curiosity.

Bhallaladeva, a complex figure known for his strategic prowess and unyielding resolve, faced a conundrum that defied easy answers.

With a composed demeanour, Bhallaladeva made a decisive choice. He decided to take Y/N into custody, not out of suspicion, but rather to determine her identity and intentions. Such a measured approach was characteristic of him.

“Let us take her into our custody,” He ordered, “There, we can determine her intentions and her identity.” Bhalla took a look at the unconscious girl, feeling an odd sense of concern for her. ��Till then, one of you needs to safely take her to the medical house and seek her immediate medical attention.”

He issued a firm command to his soldiers, instructing them to handle the unconscious stranger with care and delicacy. Y/N's still form was carefully lifted from the ground, and she was secured onto a horse-drawn litter.

As the hunting party set out toward the palace, the news of this mysterious appearance spread like wildfire among Bhallaladeva's retinue.

Questions swirled like leaves in a tempest. Who was this stranger, and what brought her to this ancient kingdom? The attire she wore, so distinctly strange and unheard of, baffled those who caught glimpses of her. How could she have seemingly appeared out of nowhere, defying the very laws of reality? Was she truly an angel?

After drawing straight through a dnd campaign session! I’ve finally finished! Happy early Lunar New Year @itoshisoup!

What do you get when you cross a Hell Fic alternate universe with a tragic ending, a Touya with bad coping mechanism, and a multiverse-hopping quirk? HTTM DTTS: HELLVERSE!

Ok, so, I finally read Hell fic which is really good! I’ve been keeping up with the blog for a while, so I was a witness to the 2022 descent into Dabi Hell along with the bajillion Hell fic aus that popped up. Earlier this month, I hit my mha phase, read Hell fic, and understood what the hype was about. I kept thinking of those aus and how they were perfect for a spiderverse-style crossover epic. So fueled by writer’s block for a completely different project, I made a mockup poster of the concept!

this was hard. Dabi’s anime hair is stupid hard to draw. The flame effects covered so much. I’m glad I didn’t do shading. Also, super proud of myself for figuring out a way to draw anime hair! I took inspiration from an across the spider verse poster with all the characters facing the camera head on. Because I had less characters, with designs similar to each other, I had to modify the poses to give some more character. Not sure how well I did on that. The white shape in the center represents MC, and I wanted it to look like the shape’s been erased from the canvas, cutting through all the Touyas.

the touyas (top of left column to top of right column, like a horseshoe), individual art notes, and story notes:

Normal fic!Touya. From default/default adjacent Hell fic universe. Don’t have much variation to go with, so he’s a ‘normal’ Dabi. Not much to say here. I think I drew him last? Was weirdly hard to finish.

jjk curse au!Touya. None of the other Touyas know what the fuck he’s talking about. What do you mean curses? What do you mean you’re dead? In universe, he and MC are HS second years/16-ish, so I made his eyes bigger, face softer, hair fluffier, tried to make him look youthful. I think you noted that this Touya didn’t look much different than normal, but as you can see, I made him blue. I think it’d be cool if he had fire glowing from beneath his scars. I thought about replacing with burned skin with exposed muscle (also blue), but decided against that for ease of drawing. His uniform’s white, because, y’know, death.

Villain au!Touya. From the au where Touya and MC ran away to become horny villains together and Touya makes a ‘no bitches’ joke to Shigaraki. He gets a matching tungsten ring and a smile! I envision him as the first alternadabi to pop up in Normal’s dimension for some reason. Maybe because he’s the most similar?

Pro-Hero!Touya. Is miffed and yet not surprised that so many of his counterparts are villains. The most well-off financially of the Touyas. The Touyas raid his agency’s fridge at some point. There are so many awesome hero au designs floating in the fandom. I came up the outfit on the fly and it probably needs to be redesigned a few more times before I’m personally happy. Still, it serves its purpose. This Touya gets gold-plated piercings because he’s worth it.

Toxic WLW!Touya. TBH I don’t remember much about this au. Does it take place in the MHA world or is it a mundane au? Either way, this Touya was the first one I had concepts for. I think every Touya is a trash gremlin no matter the gender, and I didn’t want her to lose that aspect. I gave her a new, pushed-back hairstyle because I didn’t want to draw 6 versions of the same hair, and canon Touya looks really cute with his forehead exposed. The nose piercings are replaced with eyebrow rings to take advantage of that.

late 20s!Touya. From that concept you had about an older Touya having a happy ending. This one is stable, happily married, and is a good parent. The others totally aren’t jealous at all! Why hasn’t the rogue Touya who started this mess try to take over his life? Uh…something something this reality too unfamiliar to him…too used to destruction and dying young…can’t fathom having a life like this where he builds instead of destroys…would rather tear open the multiverse than face the prospect of internal change. This Touya is more often than not the holder of the sole braincell and is trying to wrangle his younger selves in more positive directions. Assigned Responsible Adult (tm) despite not hitting 30. Wears sweats the entire time.

- I see late 20s!Touya as entering the story in 2 ways. Doing laundry and getting sucked into a portal waiting for the washer to finish (1). Seeing his alternaselves in the distance, calling his MC, and being like ‘I’m gonna need to leave for a week I have to stop myself from doing something stupid’ and following after (2).

I thought about doing a version of this for MC, or Shouto, but I never had a solidified design for MC, and Dabi was the funner brother to come up with concepts for.

The Touyas without the flames:

Gonna climb on my cinephile soapbox for a minute. The original Gladiator won 5 of the 12 Oscar nominations it had in 2001 including Best Picture and Best Actor. ( Yantzy also won costume design for her work and she's going to again with G2 just wait). It also swept the Critics Choice awards and was nominated for multiple other awards. It is a classic, well loved and respected film that stands the test of time. It is still to this day one of the best movies ever made. The thing with Ridley is he is a brilliant director and has earned his place as one of the best, even his absolute failures are better than a lot of what is made. But his style is rapidly becoming old school and dismissed by a younger online generation of audience who were not raised in the giant sweeping see it on the biggest screen you can epic film generation and that is truly sad. He's 86 he deserves the praise for even the small snippets we have seen. There are a lot of people, myself included, who have waited YEARS for them to get this film made (I've been invested since the Nick Cave days) It looks lush, expensive, and deliciously deranged. It is going to be fantastic. It is also going to be a huge hit. The tiny little corner of the internet that cares about who JQ slept with almost 3months ago is not going to make a dent in the box office or awards lol. Joe is a brilliant actor, he had brilliant direction and so did all the rest of the cast. This will be a huge film come awards season which includes many many other awards in addition to the Oscar.

I don’t know if I would call him brilliant with what I’ve seen. He’s certainly an actor. Maybe this role will show if he is brilliant. Psychotic characters are usually enjoyed by the masses. But AQPD1 and ST didn’t blow me away or anything. I haven’t seen Hoard tho.

I really don’t think anyone in the JQ fandom thought their lack of enjoyment of the movie would discourage the masses from seeing the movie especially since there are way bigger names with much bigger fandoms in the same movie.

Yanqing for the blorbo bingo?

time for some hsr content! here goes yanqing

initial disclaimer: i totally adore this guy. he’s the same type of character as sora and young john connor for me (forgive the wide ranged associations), meaning a very unapologetic twelve year old rascal who thinks he can fistfight god (will try if prompted. might succeed because of some great and devious skills that they definitely shouldn’t possess at such an age, if at all). immaculate char vibe, if you ask me, 100% unhinged fun and will surprise you, probably also pretty childish (happens to people who are, you know, children) and annoying to add some more 3d-ness

so. yanqing. the deep-seated reason mentioned is precisely him fitting right into the specific archetype i just mentioned above. young prodigy (gifted child, if you please) motive maxed out — extraordinarily skilled, with certain abilities and competences much outranking his age, but still a damn overconfident kid that needs his wholesome father figure, an in-game protection squad and a few good words of advice when he gets too cocky. well written, definitely, precisely because of this balance! and well designed, while we’re at it — i love his color scheme and the swallow ornaments + visual motifs are just too cute

i mentioned he needs a protection squad because yanqing would challenge the hunt aeon to a sword-fight if given the chance, but will also cry “hey, that’s unfair!” if someone scores a hit on him in-game. for that reason, i’d really hate to see him face a challenge too daunting for his age (not skills even, but that also) in the plot. must protecc. simultaneously, he’s a little menace with a very sharp blade, hence the wood cutter. hope you get me

not enough canon (it’s never enough canon, somehow). i haven’t gone past the first half of the luofu quest (is the rest even available already?) but i need to see more of him on screen, doing things in the main quest! he should have an epic cutscene where something is in the process of handing the trailblazer’s ass to them (like the abundance abomination deer) and yanqing is introduced resolving the issue — or at least helping jing yuan with some adequate matter. i’d kill for some wholesome family-like scene with them too, for that matter. no child traumatizing though, thank you, get lost, leave my boy alone

the “don’t typically discuss irl” box is, like, half-colored? i don’t mind talking about him in general (the fandom isn’t that delusional about him as far as i know), but i’ve met a couple of folks who headcannon him to be an older teen/young adult, which just immensely doesn’t fit with what i think of him and sort of negates most of what i like about him? i know canon ages aren’t confirmed and i have no issue with people having their own takes, but for me if yanqing was older than fourteen-fifteen his character loses that gifted overconfident adorable arrogant kid vibe

Albedo Piazzolla: Best Villain

      If you’re a Nintendo fan, you’ve probably heard of the Xenoblade Chronicles series. Well, a couple of years prior, Monolith Soft released a trilogy of games known as Xenosaga on the PlayStation and later on, remakes were released on the DS only in Japan. This was Tetsuya Takahashi’s second attempt at creating an epic sci-fi story spanning multiple games, anime, and manga. I could go on and on about this game, but then this essay would never end. One of my favorite villains ever hails from this game. Let’s talk about Albedo Piazzolla. Also, there will be spoilers for all of the games, so please stop if you don’t wish to be spoiled. Anyways, I’ll start with the basics.

         Albedo has a ton of qualities that make him unique, charming, and terrifying. First of all his design is striking, especially with the sharp shape of his cape and the overall white everywhere. The cape provides him with a unique silhouette. His English voice actor, Crispin Freeman, surely brings this character to light expertly. His theme is brimming with madness, which is fitting for a man as insane as Albedo. Most characters in fiction who are deemed “insane” are simply sadistic sociopaths, but Mr. Piazzolla is truly insane. This is seen in his encounter with MOMO, which I’ll go into more detail in the fourth section. He’s also hilarious at times, especially with “Yo, Rubedo.” It’s such a great line. Even his name is significant. Albedo is one of the steps of the alchemical process and he has relationships with Nigredo and Rubedo, the other two steps of said process. Now, it’s time for his backstory, as it ties to both Rubedo and Nigredo.

         Albedo’s and Rubedo’s connected pasts is the main aspect of Episode II. All three of them are Realians, artificially made humans, created by Dmitri Yuriev to combat an entity called U-DO. Because they are unique, they’re bullied by the other Realians. Albedo, protecting his twin brother Rubedo, beats up one of the bullies. Alby doesn’t understand why it’s a problem, considering that he thought that all of them had the ability to regrow limbs. It is here that he realizes that both Rubedo and Nigredo will die before him, and he breaks down into tears while hugging his beloved twin. After a while, the encounter with U-DO arrives. Rubedo receives a vision of the destruction of the universe. This freaks him out and he cuts the link, leaving all of the others to die or to be driven to madness by U-DO. This gives a proper reason for this man’s insanity. While we’ve seen his past and come to know his general traits, let’s look at a few scenes to really illustrate my points in action.

         Albedo Piazzolla has some of the best, most memorable scenes in all three games. In Episode I, he kidnaps a young Realian girl named MOMO, and he sits on a pile of her sisters’ corpses, holding one in his arms. He breaks the arm of the deceased girl and tosses her aside like a doll. In the Japanese version, he brandishes a knife, but it was removed in the American version, which honestly improved this scene. He dismembers both his arm and his head, showing his immortal power, all while a choir of haunting voices fills the atmosphere up with utter dread. Another significant scene is when Albedo learns that his healing powers are unique to him. First, he demonstrates his powers to Rubedo and Nigredo by blowing off his head and instantly healing. The two are surprised. Albedo realizes the implications and runs to his brother, hugging him and begging him not to leave him, tears leaking out.

         This essay spells out Albedo’s backstory, specific moments, and overall character to showcase this insane mad lad. Usually, I’m not a fan of insane villains, but Albedo is the exception.

Enstars x Genshin au? Nah. How about

Enstars x Honkai: Star Rail au

I’ve just got rambles cause yeah I wanted to draw the designs but adhd brain hit like a freight train “oh I wanna draw this design” “n o.”

Anyways yeah just just rambles

How I’ll do this is “Enstars character takes Star Rail characters General role, however I’ll give them wiggle room and they keep their personalities, maybe even tweak their backstories”

So generally ALKALOID takes the Nameless/Trailblazers roles,

Hiiro takes Dan Heng’s role, however he’s not exiled for a past life’s actions, rather he “ran” from home and joined the Trailblazers to find his oldest brother (Rinne, who doesn’t technically take a role, I mean right now you could say in a way he takes a combo of Bailu’s and Dan Heng’s as well if you really want but yeah he’s pretty much role-less, free from the binds of the story) who was supposed to be the next Vidyadhara High Elder but ran away across the galaxy for unknown reasons

Also I say “Oldest brother” because I know in canon Rinne is Hiiro’s only brother, but in this au I’m gonna do a funny thing and make Luka be their middle child brother in the au because come on look at them, which means (besides NPC’s) he’s gonna be one of the few un-booted-out-for-Enstars-characters-to-steal their-lives-characters who just vibe for an epic crossover

Also yes this means Vidyadhara Rinnie, Luka And Hiiro

Or Luka is just adopted-💥

Then there’s going to be Mayoi as the MC, well, technically, he doesn’t take the Protagonist role in this au, Hiiro does still, So like. Imagine if Dan Heng was the protagonist/MC of H:SR instead like does that make sense?

I also think Mayoi would die if he was given the Main Protagonist role- Anyways why am I giving him a side protagonist version of Caelus/Stelle? Well one: he was my first favorite in Enstars, ever, and two: anxious wall gremlin is a very good stand in for feral raccoon (wo)man

And yes this means he’s now an artificial human with a stellaron inside him and could explode at any second

I also had the idea of Aria as March 7th, I…Don’t have anything for that except how they just make me think of the other, so that’s not really in stone

And Akiomi as Welt, just cause why not

Madara and Kohaku take Clara and Svarog‘s roles, (Madara Svarog and Kohaku Clara to get specific)

For this au instead of Kohaku being a shy little orphan like Clara, he’s just a random teen that ran away, found Madara and they ended up as friends somehow, but technically Kohaku is in Clara’s role here, like just

“Yeah I found this big fucking motorcycle transformer cowboy thing and it’s my mom friend now”

Also I’m changing the type of Robot Madara is, instead of being the giant robot Svarog originally is, he’s now a transformer that turns into a motorcycle, because why the fuck not, it doesn’t matter as long as he has Svarog��s capabilities as well

HiMERU takes Tingyun’s role (starts slowly descending away, evil cackling in knowing both Enstars and Star Rail lore as I refuse to elaborate, but if you play both games like me we can evil laugh/cry together :))

Jin takes Jing Yuan’s role, why? *drops a second infodump*

It’s literally perfect to me, first of all, they’re both eepy old men who have the :3/=w= faces

Also I say “Old” but if Jing Yuan aged normally and wasn’t immortal he’d probably be like 40’s and Jin is 30’s, and I don’t think that’s actually old I just say old cause they both call themselves old at at least some point and the entire fandom and their mothers call Jing Yuan old/hj

They’ve also got a few similarities:

They both took paths their parents didn’t want them to (Jing Yuan being with the Cloud Knights when his parents wished for him to inherit the mantle of a scholar or official at the Realm-Keeping Commission and Jin being an Idol, when his parents wanted him to be a Doctor),

-They both lost one’s close to them (Jing Yuan losing his mentor (who is still alive but eehhhshshs he technically lost her-) and old friendships, Jin meanwhile lost his whole ass older brother)

-Both seem lazy but whenever it’s the right situation (For Jing Yuan it’s literally any situation where he’d absolutely need to take action, for Jin it’s his students in danger) Shit gets real

Also I just really want a situation where he’s constantly sleeping on the desk while Mayoi, Aria* and Akiomi* are just staring at him like “:/ are you sure this is the real general??? Are you sure this isn’t just a random lost guy?????” Maybe even finding him sleeping while standing up in hologram form

(*swaps aren’t in stone but what I’m going with rn)

EPIC the musical: proto- catifed Odysseus design

At this point I’m just exited to post about EPIC AHDJDVHSHDVDHD

anyways, Odysseus actually doesn’t have a design yet! Which is why these are more of a prototype/concept! My twin @thequasarwinds is actually in charge of designing him (Btw design Odysseus Quasar) but I’ve sorta been drawing him a lot lately and we both do have a general idea on what he looks like!

anyways he’s of course going to have more accessories then the headband he has (which he gets after Polites death, since the fandom all agree that Polites has a headband) but of course we don’t really have that down yet! I do know however that Ody will have some owl feathers like his son to symbolize his relationship with Athena! anyways his scars for the most part are just random things I added to his design because I could. I mean dude would have a couple of scars after everything right? some of the scars are more specific on when he got them and are all just pure headcanon. Like the scar on his mouth/lip area! He got that from Eurylochus in Mutiny! Is that canon? Absolutely not, but since they’re cats and they’re mostly wielding weapons with their mouths it makes sense. Also I just like adding scars onto characters.

hi. I refuse to tag this in fear of being perceived so this will either appear on some poor man’s fyp or my mutuals page

I am . Very insane about gigizetz’ design for hermes. I don’t know if it’s just a me thing but the way he’s drawn is so nice to look at and I am also a mild sucker for analyzing character design and he’s surely something to admire

I like how . How do I explain this hm. I like how they really show that the instrument he’s representing is the synth (if I remember correctly) with his blue color schemes and his petasos having little shades built in is so cute. I also think the design very much fits the voice given to him in the musical? I’ve seen almost every hermes design and I have a top 3 favorite and this one. This one is definitely on the list. Yes, he is a god, but he also looks like a boy at least in his early twenties (or maybe a straight up teenager) looking to cause mischief and have fun and get groovy

He’s also like. The only hermes design I’ve seen with blue. A lot of the designs use yellows and greens, very rarely maybe even red (this is a shoutout to wolfythewitch’s design because it’s the only hermes design I’ve seen involve one of his animal symbolisms into the mix) but he uses BLUE and blue means a variety of things like freedom and understanding and the general idea of open space like being outside at night. (Note: I am biased because blue is my favorite color ((sorry)))

if you like greek mythology and you like musicals, go listen to the first two sagas and snippets of EPIC. If you like animatics with your musicals, I’d definitely recommend gigizetz but there are also a TON of other artists you should totally watch too. Please don’t limit yourself to one this entire community is so creativ
