despite Laios low self esteem making him think that if he’d been eaten, Chilchuck and Marcille wouldn’t have helped Falin,

theres a small part of me that thinks the reason Chilchuck stayed with the party and went back in the dungeon in the first place was because he didn’t want to leave Laios alone. That Laios was moreso the reason he stayed.

Laios is on a first name basis with him for a reason.#He also worries probably more than anyone about Laios #And his biggest criticism of him is that hes “reckless”#he’s comfortable around Laios in a very specific way and so is Laios around him #and in the series he shows many times that he’ll risk his life to protect Laios #Like staying with him to confront the elves because he was worried Laios would say something stupid #Hes the first one to run up to him when Falin punches him #I mean I think he was also going back for Falin like its not like I think he doesn’t care about her or anything #He clearly does #But I don’t know if he’d have gone back if Laios hadn’t #And if Laios had been eaten I think he wouldn’t have even had to be convinced by Falin #I also think Marcille would’ve gone back for him but probably more bc Falin was going back #Like sort of a reversed thing #AGAIN not that I don’t think she cared about Laios at the beginning either #But she before the story she was mostly Falin’s friend who knew Laios through Falin #She only really got to know him when Falin got eaten and they had to do a team building exercise #Though now I sort of want to see an actually reversed scenario #Bc we also know that Chilchuck is sort of uncomfortable around Falin (said in relationship chart)#So I would love to see them be forced into a team building exercise to find a person they both love the way Laios and Marcille were

I’ve relatively had how fish is made twirling around in the back of my head these past few weeks since playing it one night randomly and I think it really is one of those rare cases where a game just gets it—or I guess specifically, gets me. And I don’t even really know how to explain what that means but it somehow managed to completely break down a particular line of thought? emotion? that I’ve been trying to pin down for years. And the inherent genius of portraying it all with the creative usage of fish will never not get me jumping off the walls holy shit like it’s so good? it’s so good. When someone else’s art is so good you physically can’t look at it because of artistic jealousy

#Y’all do this to me on a daily basis I swear #I literally can’t follow some people because their stuff is so good it breaks my heart #I think the art world has a lot of envy and competitiveness that no one really talks about #Sure we’re all for self expression but so many of us are so used to being “the art kid” that anyone else taking or sharing that spot feels #like losing a peice of your identity.#I’ve had some artist friends who dealt with their jealousy by tearing others down or justifying their art by going #”Well you’re bad at ____ but I’m better at ____”#Or they would give unsolicited critique that was more like gently worded criticism than friendly advice to help someone reach their goals #And because of those experiences… I never want to become that person #I definitely get the surges of jealousy… But I very much try to remind myself that fellow artists are my friends-not my rivals #The people I feel the most envy for are often the people I hype up the most #And beyond that- nobody in the art community is trying to gatekeep information from you.#If you want to learn skills from other people- don’t hesitate to ask them. happy Kirby... Kuesday (I am once again late). Have a Kirby dragon (ish) design

+Headcanons/Design details below cut

The fluff on their body is neither fur nor feathers. It’s a secret third thing that feels like something between the stuffing inside plushies and clouds!

Has extensive cheek and neck pouches for both the storage of food and (when wanting to fly) air.

The blue speckles on them were not there originally. Like Meta Knight, Kirby developed it due to exposure to their friends :)

SO KITTEN CODED. That was a main reference for this design, shown in the triangle ears and short but angular tail. Ears were also an attempt on my part to emulate the shape of Kirby’s canon limbs.

Has tiny little nubs on their back that will eventually develop into full wings!

they are so full of love it makes me sick. look at their face. please i am so proud of how adorable it turned out. i love you Kirby.

#Every once in a while I think. It’s not too bad home. I’m over dramatic. It’s not bad and it won’t be bad when I go home and never been bad #Then actually think and remember #I shouldn’t have been hit as a small child. I thank god that my parents stopped that with me.#But also. I should have been taken seriously when I went To them with concerns and shouldn’t have been brushed off.#But also to be a 14 something year old and to realize your parents aren’t in love is a crushing feeling #Since that must have been when. 13-14. Appa passed. Pandemic times. I’m sure my father. Since this would have been the last time I saw Appa #We went down to visit. Dad didn’t go he had work. He sent us off. I remember sitting in the passenger seat by mom in driver #Dad praying for our safe travel and for him going in for a kiss and the moment of hesitation and unwant from my mother #And the awkward silence and the way everything seemed to just shift to the side #That was summer of 2019. My first time realizing my parents weren’t both in love happened when I was 13-14.#I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.#And going to college has me feeling so guilty. Like I fucking ditched my siblings? The kids I raised as a child myself?#(I had to go. I don’t know if my scholarship would have held I don’t know if my financial aid would have held. I couldn’t have waited. )#(I would have likely done something bad to myself. Genuinely. If I weren’t able to be here. If I had to stay. I wouldn’t survive that.)#my siblings are fine. They have no responsibilities. My sister is manipulative. They will manage. They want me to get the education I need #They aren’t going to have to use their own college money to pay to be able to eat because the parents won’t feed them for the summer #I went into college with at least a couple hundred less than I should have. Because I had to parent. I had to feed my siblings.#And I had to pay to fill the gas tank on my father’s gas eater truck. We couldn’t be home because of the selling home situation.#I had to do something to get us out and to feed us but I didn’t get paid back for anywhere near all of it #I don’t regret it. But a kid shouldn’t have to pay for them and their siblings to live.#But then I remember the dread I have for returning ‘home’ for the breaks. I don’t know what I’m going to do.#If I can’t work all of the breaks then I either won’t be able to pay next semester #Or I’ll have almost no money in savings. Like nothing to my name. Can’t buy gas. Can’t do anything. Can’t buy food.#Unless the next scholarship stuff I’m doing pulls through. But I’m willing to work the whole break just to get away from either house.#I want to violently shake my parents and get them to comprehend #Father you have dropped 260$ into my bank account in the last two weeks. Why could this not be earlier in the semester.#Why couldn’t that be in the time and fashion you FUCKING PROMISED for helping me pay my schooling?#You have money to spare. Stupid.
