You crafted the story very well... but I'm curious... how would you imagine "childe, itto, thoma, kaveh, aether" if they were actually being choosen... will the scenario be the exact same with the gaming one? or different? because the gaming one really relates to his personality and that what makes it special (this is definitely not a fic request though, just wanna hear your thought/headcanon as the author, about how you'll imagine each scenario if the subject chosen were different) Have a nice day by the way! Hi hi!!! ^^ Aww I'm honored you would re-read my fic! And thank you for asking. My 2-part fics are actually all written in a way that I really see different outcomes depending on the winning option, so not just same plot different lee, or same scenario but with a different quote.

So in this case with the Lyney's Trick fic, I think what I had slightly in mind for each option was:

Childe: Ofc I don't know their exact canon relationship yet and if it's gonna be revealed in the new update (have yet to play) but since they're both fatui I imagined them more to have a brotherly rivalry, so Lyney would've been very smug while getting Childe in the trick position, and maybe they would've been able to tickle him a little until Childe breaks free and just... retaliates. So it would've probably been more lee Lyney and very much Lyney VS Childe focused with the happy ending that Lyney's predicament equally cheered up his siblings.

Itto: Could've been a really fun one with Ayato making some funny remarks while Itto is screeching. I pictured Itto to be as naive and fun as Gaming but then in a sillier way, shamelessly enjoying himself and making funny remarks.

Thoma: Also in this case Ayato (and Itto) would've gotten involved since I grouped them together. Knowing myself I'd have thrown in some flirty thomato stuff, as well as some very cute remarks about how gentle and humble Thoma is even when he's getting tricked into a tickly situation like that. He would've been very blushy, very confused, very cute hehe, getting tickled like that in front of the eyes of Ayato.

Kaveh: Since Kaveh was at the Sumeru table this would've gotten Alhaitham, Cyno and Tighnari involved as well (more than in the eventual outcome where Fontaine gang- Neuvillette and Wriothesley were the main audience). Kaveh would've been a little harder to break, and also to convince in the first place for cooperating, but with some motivation from the others he's more like okay sure why not. And I definitely wouldn't have missed the chance to throw in some bad bad Cyno-jokes.

Aether: Aether would've been a lovely lovely looovely lee, but as the premise already hinted, it was Aether's party with many of his friends there after all. So even if Aether would've been the winning option, I still would've juggled 2 options: his friends either all love to tease and bully him so they help Lyney inc. to wreck him, OR I would've let it turn out into a scenario where they come to Aether's aid which would've turned Lyney into the main lee again. Depending on my mood I would've picked a few main characters to involve, probably Childe, Kaeya and Venti.

Gaming:

That wasn't all btw.

It was already hard to pick between all the lovely characters to put in the poll for this fic. Others I had in mind were:

Chongyun: ofc with some Xingqiu, duuuhh, also involving Xiangling, Gaming and maybe even Shenhe as audience/side characters and maybe even fellow ticklers and teasers. Ending with yang Chongyun ofc and a very confused and surprised Lyney & siblings like omfg what have we done to him.

Xiao: Precious Xiao would've been the perfect person to ask, sitting awkwardly to the side. Might have needed some Aether influence to be convinced into joining. His own polearm could've been used to spread his arms and *wiggle fingers* poor thing. I would've let Venti join in for sure.

Tighnari: Very curious to try the trick. Definitely a lot of Cyno in it as well. Also very flustered and having some adorable reactions.

Scaramouche: What trick? He is above this. This would've been very funny now that I recall this option, oof.

Bennett: Unlucky boy would've been a great target. Razor would've been in this version.

Albedo: Would also have been curious but a little sceptical. Still cooperative. Aether and Kaeya would've been some others to be mainly involved.

it starts with ayato at the top because he is a TALKER and also he is a whiney little guy. he talks and talks and TALKS and i will say his dirty talk is both rather poetic and also rather flustering so its not necessarily bad that he talks so much but it is slightly embarrassing when he says the most shameless stuff ever. ofc that amuses him though when u get shy so thats why he does it. but yeah he also is just a very vocal guy in terms of whining and breathy moans so i place him at the top

then we have wrio. he is honestly a pretty close second. he talks a lot too but a bit more smug. more teasing and the tiniest bit condescending but light hearted enough that it just makes u huff. he just really likes to get under ur skin and bother u with his teasing and he also is the tiniest bit cocky but we all know he def walks the walk while he talks the talk so its fine. he also is very vocal in terms of noise but he grunts a lot and its deeper and less whiny and more gruff. still very very attractive though 11/10

THEN we have alhaitham who can easily be on either side of the coin. it depends on the mood and setting and where he is mentally. like if hes fucking to blow off steam or hes having a rough day hes much quieter and his noise level hardly goes past a few grunts and MAYBE some breathy panting but if its a very romantic/soft sex sort of moment than he can easily be just as vocal as the first two but much more sophisticated. bc he is a linguist after all so he says the most obscenely romantic things and sometimes, when he feels a little smug, he might even tease about how ur clenching around him so u must like what hes saying

and last we have kinich. i do think hes not exactly quiet i think hes pretty vocal with noise but not so much words. not at first at least. he makes more sharp gasps and low groans but he doesnt say much because a part of him is a bit stunted emotionally so he doesnt know how to speak his mind and tell u intimate feelings but then another part of him is also just. a bit shy. its cute too. like the other guys are all a bit cocky in their own rights but kinich is a bit shy when it comes to romantic feelings so saying anything remotely filthy is so hard for him at first. but he slowly really enjoys praising you and quickly learns when it comes to complimenting you he has little to no shame when it comes to speaking his mind so slowly over time he gets talkative too. not nearly as much as the others but its pretty decently enough

A/N: Let’s pretend I didn’t expect you to pick this pairing or that you’d request me a fic at all, hahaha, hope you enjoy ~

Summary: After a few attempts, Thoma decides to use the next card up in his sleeve to wake Ayato up

As the clan’s leader, lots of different responsibilities fell on Ayato. One of them was to attend meetings, such as dinners or parties, to keep up the diplomacy between the nobles and leaders of Inazuma. 

However, those meetings would turn into a pain for Kamisato's young master. Not because loud and drunk people or the ones simply interested in his role, no, Ayato was far too used to dealing with those kinds, but because they would end horribly late.

He was a very disciplined man, followed routines and scheduled every kind of thing, but one of the things out of Ayato’s control was his sleep. And with parties going all night long, not even the archons’ might would wake him up in time once he laid down on his bed to rest. But Thoma was no archon, nor needed to use might to get his Ayato awake.

After checking the time, he knew what was the next task in his agenda. The blonde walked across the hallways and stopped in front of a huge door. Gently pushing it open, the housekeeper put his foot down quietly inside the room, making one gentle step after the other. That place was familiar to him, and because of that he could walk in the darkness carefreely, being sure he wouldn’t hit or stumble into anything. Thoma made his way to the window of Ayato’s bedroom, opening the curtain and letting the light fill the dusky chamber.

The brightness, however, did close to nothing in the task of getting the clan leader awake. It didn’t even seem to bother Ayato. The young master kept resting among his blankets, his loose hair falling over his face, the half-open cotton yukata falling over his shoulders and- was he drooling? Thoma chuckled and sighed, a mix of awe, embarrassment and worry. Maybe not even Ayaka could imagine witnessing her brother in such a state.

“Good morning, my lord. We should start getting ready, you have a meeting with Guuji Yae regarding the discussion of the next events of the shrine.” The blonde announced, lowering his head and waiting a few seconds. No answer.

Usually, the next attempt would simply be spoken louder, but he worked for the Kamisato clan for enough time to know that it wouldn’t take him anywhere. Thoma approached the mattress, kneeling next to Ayato and placed his hand over his shoulder. “My lord, it’s time to wake…” He cooed softly as he shook him a little. 

A muffled groan escaped his lips, turning to the opposite direction to keep ignoring the call. Was this really the same person who conducted the speech yesterday, Thoma questioned himself. Well, if that wasn’t going to work, then…

“My lord, you will get late,” he said with a playful smirk on his lips this time. If Ayato was deeply asleep, there was one last option (which could become the first depending on his mood) he could resort to. Moving his hand from his lord’s shoulder to the back of his neck and gently dragging a finger down his back, tracing a line over his spine. 

An effortless act, yes, but he could already spot how the other shivered adorably. “Are you really asleep… or were you just waiting for this, Ayato?” He spoke gently, dropping the formalities. Repeating the action and eying the top of his back, seeing how his muscles tensed as his finger slowly reached the top of his back.

Thoma took his hand away from a second, hearing his master sigh, as if in relief for the teasing to have come to an end. The housekeeper, however, far from done, pulled the clan leader by his shoulder, making him lay on his back before leaning over his waist. The blonde placed his hands on Ayato’s stomach, roaming them around a little before starting to dig his fingers into his sides, wearing a grin on his face. “I won’t allow you to get late, my lord.”

The reaction was much more visible this time, his lips twitched, forming a messy smile. It didn’t take long for giggles to make their way out of his mouth and a pair of hands tug into Thoma’s wrists. “Ahahah, Thoma, s-stohohop it!! Let me rehehehest!” The clan leader tried to order between the half asleep laugher, attempting to pry the blonde’s hands off his torso with no avail.

“I can’t, my lord. You still have to get yourself ready, have breakfast with your sister, then visit the bridge’s construction site before get to the meeting with Guuji Yae,” he casually remembered him of his schedule with other minor events, not that Ayato could actually pay attention with Thoma pinching his lower ribs, but as a good housekeeper, he would always remember his master of his affairs.

“Noohohoho! I get it, I gehehet it, you cahahan stop! Thohohoma!” 

“I have to be sure, my lord, you still have your eyes closed… how do I know you won’t go back to sleep?”

“Becahahahause you ahahare tihihickling me!” He cackled, throwing his head back and pressing it into the pillows as the housekeeper clawed at his middle. The Kamisato’s master weakly kicked his feet, turning the bedroom scenario even messier as he tried to avoid Thoma’s touch, which followed his moves with ease.

“I’m awake! T-Thomahahaha, I’m ahahah- ah… I’m awake, Thoma…” He panted, feeling how the other slowly stopped. 

“Good morning, my lord,” he said, a pleased smile on his face as he got back on his knees and helped Ayato sit down, trying his best to not chuckle at the chaos the bedsheets and his master became. “I’ll get your clothes ready, my lord,  just a moment, please,” the housekeeper explained, standing up and getting the things ready to help Ayato prepare for another day. 

“Right… good morning, Thoma,” he replied with a chuckle, gladly accepting the housekeeper’s help.

He's always teasing you, telling you to give him a kiss and he will let you use him as your ac. Of course, one kiss for ten minutes if yoh want and hour you have to kiss him six times.

If you whine about his behavior, he will simply tease you;

He would pout be sad if you avoid him. Sometimes he look at kaeya with envy, his vision was keeping you away and he wished to have any other one.

His vision may come handy in winter, but summer is another story.

You don't mean to avoid him, but his pyro vision makes you unbearably hot and no one likes being hot in summer.

You try to be as close to him, but you still stand a two feet away from him. You crack up jokes to lighten his mood but it didn't seem to work very much.

At night, he would leave the window open and would not cover you with a blanket. Till now it has proven to be successful.

But still, sometimes you hear him mutter;

“ two more months before summer ends, i hope winter last much longer...”

The neutral one. His vision doesn't affect him much, maybe he will be a tad bit hot/cold depending on the season but nothing like cryo and pyro.

After the long hours of work, ayato likes to join you in bed at a cool summer night. He hugs you from behinds and kisses your shoulder.

When given free time, he would take you on a walk. But this time with less clothing than his usual formal attire, he says it's too hot and he can't bear it.

Taking you to chinji forest, he would only stare at you as you admire the view letting gasp and aww of wonder. Asking him about his day, his work, his health as he often neglect it.

Ayato would always tease you sometimes, the heat of the summer won't save you;

“ mmh? My day you ask? It was neutral, but seeing your smile made it brighter. Oh? Are you flustered? Fufufu, don't worry i only speak the truth. My, you have gotten redder now..”

Another neutral who isn't affected.

Zhingli lived through many summer, he knew the season all to well. And given his archon body, he —of course— was never bothered by the heat. The same can't be said about you,

Zhongli tend to forgot a lot sometimes but he always remind you ti drink water, mortal like immortal, all need water to stay alive. Even if his need of water is close to nothing the same cant be said about you.

Aa such, instead if his wallet, at summer zhongli bring a bottle of water with him everywhere he goes.

When you begin to overheat, he gives you the bottle with a smile. –Drink–, he says.

Zhongli would also ask hu tao how to deal with the hot nights of summer, even ask baizhu for medicine against heatstroke.

Overall, a sweet lover who is better prepared than you at something he isn't bothered by;

“ my love, you seem to be dehydrated, here. A bottle of fresh water, doctor baizhu recommended to drink two bottle per day. I shall leave the window open tonight..”

hiii so this is a long one i am so sorry 😅😅! so i wanted to ask how genshin men for example diluc, kaeya, ayato or xiao would be like with like a… how do you say it… morallly grey/(wrong?) reader/partner. like due to some sort of trauma or hard life they had, they aren’t really a good person? they arent outright a whole villain that goes around and kills and does the most horrible stuff but for example if they saw someone getting harmed or in trouble (to a certain extent obv), saw someone stealing, someone getting embarrassed, stuff like that, they would do nothing/ turn the other cheek and think “thats none of my business”. (you rlly could call them an npc basically 😭) and they do bad stuff as well, and sometimes are a shit person to others. like they have issues and persons say stuff like “youre not a good person” and stay away from them. and the s/o acknowledges they arent a good person and try to better themselves but they struggle and overall just accept it. how would the men react? would they support? would they leave? give them space? how would they help them through it?

Kaeya

Out of all the characters you mentioned, I feel that he'd be in the top most supportive? Well, I find him a liiiiiiitle bit unhinged and unpredictable and I think he doesn't mind someone like the reader

He probably finds it amusing it how easily the reader ignores the need for help of people around them and at some point, he made it into some game. How many people and troubles the reader ignored or avoided in a day, maybe he'll find out what cracks them to lend even a pinky to help.

"Oh~? Aren't you gonna help the poor old man up? His falls seemed pretty painful and that 'thud' was pretty loud... hm? No? If I fell, would you also ignore this poor Calvary Captain?" Teases them a lot honestly.

Depending on his mood, maybe he'll even join them in their path of apathy as well. Ignore a few brawls, no he doesn't see that person getting mugged in the alley, definitely not, and neither does he see the other little group of people huddling and passing around something suspicious. It's his self-proclaimed day off! Plus, doing the reports is such a pain! Just for a day, he's just Kaeya, not Captain Kaeya.

I think he'll try to help the reader a tiny bit, but just enough so that they can escape the scorn of some people. He probably doesn't mind if they don't change, unless he gets bored of they, he won't really be doing anything drastic. Plus, they are self-aware(as in they know themselves) so he'll most likely leave them be. But of course, if the reader clearly states to Kaeya they want help, he'll be a little more proactive in helping them, not by a significant amount, but it's there.

At some point, they'll inevitably have a few haters. Whispers and rumours of them about how heartless they are and very likely, Kaeya will be the first to hear of those.

"Did you know that some people refer to you as a heartless monster? Do you want to do anything about it? Or do you not care about it either? It's alright if you want to set them straight too, you know."

Sometimes, he gets carried away with his teasing so he'll end up coming off as insensitive. But nevertheless, I feel he's the best choice to stick to for now. Plus, he enables the reader sometimes when no one's watching. Just that when they're caught in the act, he takes no part in it, again unless he feels like it.

Diluc

To some extent, Diluc would get it because honestly? It just takes too much energy to care about problems not your own

Of course, there's a line he draws, especially when it comes to the wellbeing of people. So he'll definitely feel iffy if he sees the reader simply ignore someone being beaten up.

As a not so secret protector of Mondstadt, I think he does have a bit of hero complex so he does end up helping the victim fend of the attackers.

But now he's kind of... wary(?)... of them? He knows they're not exactly the most sympathetic or empathetic person but they had the power and ability to help the victim in some way, so how far does this apathy go?

If more incidents like that continue happening with the same reaction, he might confront them about it.

"What is something that'll trigger some sort of empathy/sympathy from you? To what extent will you 'not care'?" Could've honestly phrased it a little nicer Diluc smh

So this is where Diluc gets to unlock the reader's tragic backstory and that's when he'll gain a better understanding of them after hearing about it.

"So I see. I guess everything makes sense now. It does get quite tiring taking care of other people's problems. Do you want to try to improve this trait of yours? If you are up to it, I am here to help you along the way."

I think he'd be surprisingly and also unsurprisingly supportive. Surprising because for someone with his personality, he just openly admitted to them that he'd help them and he really does help them! He's not super strict about it but like he does it in more of a prompting way, a nod to the beggar, a shift of the eyes to some thief with sticky fingers, just little prompts like that to practice a little bit of empathy. He mostly won't be disappointed if sometimes, reader doesn't feel like doing any acts of charity for the day. Small steps.

Unsurprising because for his background, he has definitely been there before, so gets it. He really, really, really gets it. So one of the reasons why he offered the reader help is so that they won't lose themselves. Yes, they're not tipping the scale to the 'evil side' yet, but who knows what will happen in the future if he lets them be? He won't take that chance, so of course he'll help the reader. His past experiences can also mostly likely help him in handling and teaching the reader.

Of course, just be careful about being too apathetic. Because stoic and calm as he may seem, Diluc is still prone to suspicions, distrust, annoyance and more. Most days, he can be patient, but some days, some events, if the reader chooses to be a passive bystander, Diluc might just lose his temper.

"You're not helping yourself like this, you know? Are you making me waste my time? If you don't want to help yourself anymore, then inform me so I can save my time."

Xiao

I'd say he's around the same level as Kaeya, but with a different reason. He doesn't really care either because he will simply just handle everything. Simple as that. The help is appreciated if it comes, but if not, he will clean everything up.

After all, it's not the reader's job to do the protecting, so he doesn't care (to an extent) when they simply ignore the troubles of the people in Liyue. He's fine on his own, he can handle it if they don't want to. Plus, he really doesn't expect anything from the reader. Not in a bad way! It's just because he relies on himself, and mortals are weak. Their bodies are so fragile, so he'd rather deal with the troubles himself and have the only casualty be him rather than risking taking care of a fallen mortal. Troublesome.

Let's say the reader then asks Xiao for help in bettering themselves. Not exactly the best person to ask for because for him, it is a job that needs to be completed. But for them, it's because of the human emotion "empathy" that they want to help people. So it's a little hard and awkward for him to "teach" them how to be more involved in helping people. Maybe he'll simply ask the reader to fight that hilichurl with him or simply just stand beside the victim to make sure no harm comes to them, stuff like that. Accidentally makes the reader his little shadow now.

However, if there ever comes a time when they intentionally harm a civilian, more so a citizen of Liyue, he'll be a bit troubled. He knows of the reader's past, and he also can't help but think of the past Yakshas. Is it time? Is the reader going to lose their sanity soon? So, he makes sure to approach them and straight up ask if they're feeling murderous or something like that.

"Human, what's wrong with you? Why did you feel a need to harm another? Are you going to harm more? Do you feel like harming more?"

He feels really relieved when they said no. He's not going to take it as face-value though, so he'll definitely be keeping an eye out on them more often, just in case they really do snap. He still trusts their word about wanting to better themself but humans can be quite fickle, and some, their will weak. Nothing really changes after that save for how his eyes are sometimes glued on the reader.

Just that, if the day ever comes when they lose their sanity, he's prepared himself to take them down as painlessly as possible and to be left alone once again.

Ayato

Out of everyone mentioned, he'll definitely be the most disapproving. I think he has trust issues that stemmed from the past assassination attempts on him, so if the reader can't show loyalty or that he can fully trust them, I think he'll definitely want to stay away.

As the Yashiro Commissioner, he's extra mindful about the events and people in Inazuma. So if he finds out the reader was in the scene the same time a robbery happened, he'll question the reader about it.

"Why didn't you do anything to help? It's fine if you couldn't help with catching them, but you didn't even want to bother to remember the robber's face? You really just walked away? The amount of work for me to do has increased yet again."

No mercy. Just an absolute smackdown. He's tired, he's stressed, he hadn't had his lunch, he's sleep-deprived, and now this? He might apologise the next day when he's feeling better for being so harsh. But, if it occurs too many times, well, he won't even feel sorry.

Like seriously, did they just ignore some poor kid being made fun of by others? If they can't be bothered to think even just a little about others' feelings, why should he bother to care about the reader's? Anyway, it's not like they care, right?

"You said you wanted to improve yourself but are you really even trying to improve this personality of yours? Honestly, I don't see you trying. Really, how do you expect me to trust you like this? You seem like you'll also turn your head away if you ever saw me being stabbed- well, if you aren't the one stabbing me. I think it's best we separate ways."

Because for someone who very much values loyalty and obedience, a personality like the reader's will always turn out very iffy to him. He can't see himself fully trusting them, even knowing their past. Yes, he's quite sympathetic of that, but he's just appalled at how far their "I don't care" attitude goes. He doesn't really have time and energy to wait for the reader to become a better person, especially with his work and taking care of Ayaka and the household. So, if they're going to plan to never change and just "accept it", he truly think it's the best choice to not see each others' faces again.
