I feel like last night's stream hit a lot harder because Phil is usually so disconnected from the lore
Seeing him actually engage is important
That shake in his voice, his lowered tone, even how he's sitting on his webcam, it's so different and it makes everything feel so much more
q!Phil has never really reacted to something happening on the island. Bad things happen and he shrugs and walks away. He gets angry with the code and the feds but thats as far as it goes
Seeing him actually get upset, walk around his home and look for his kids so lost and confused hits hard when he usually doesn't care
And his conversation with Forever too, he lowers his shaking voice because he cares, genuinely. I half expected him to go "you're acting fucking weird, bye" but he didn't and it hurt
He was so quiet and sad the whole stream

hello! i really hate doing this, but my state has been going through the worst flood we've had in over 80 years, and i just spoke to my dad on the phone and he told me there's a high chance the water might've reached the ceiling in our house — and if it didn't, it still reached pretty high anyway, as we've been informed —, which means there's a very high chance we lost everything (or almost everything) we own, except for the things we could pack up and carry with us when we evacuated. the area where we live is completely flooded and the roads are closed, and although i managed to make it back to my hometown before things got too bad and am staying at my mom's house where it's safe for now, i'm still dreading the moment i have to go back, and i don't know what we're gonna do and how we're gonna start rebuilding our lives.
so if you're able to donate anything at all (literally anything helps), here's the link to my ko-fi (e se vc for brasileire e quiser doar pelo pix, pode me mandar mensagem que eu mando a chave em pvt)
if you can't help financially, reblogging this post is also really helpful!
thank you and stay safe 💜

I wonder how many times Mr. Compress used the “sawed in half” trick to swindle people out of their money by threatening not to put them back together lmao
Or he’s made one of their loved ones disappear (they were marbled) and was like “Hmm. I believe I can bring them back for $1000.”
They’re like, “I don’t have $1000.”
Mr. Compress is like, “We can set up a payment plan.”

Every time you think, "Oh, I don't have [x condition], I'm basically cured!" that is the devil talking. You aren't cured, you are likely going through periods of your symptoms waning. Don't cease whatever you're doing to help yourself, like medication, for instance, because it's likely you still have the conditions or symptoms, even if you aren't noticing them as frequently or severely.

Utahime dancing Dabke !! id in alt - as always, from the river to the sea, palestine will be free
Embedded within the heart and soul of the Palestinian people, the dabke – an ancient folkloric dance native to the Levant – transcends mere artistic expression, serving as a resolute act of defiance against the Zionist state's occupation. With each rhythmic stomp and synchronised movement, Palestinians reclaim their cultural identity, defiantly asserting their existence and resilience in the face of systemic oppression, while igniting a flame of resistance that resonates with generations past and present, affirming their connection with the land.
- Fadila Khalid, Dance & Defiance: Dabke as an Emblem of Resilience in Palestine
