Thats Carolina ^_^ let me talk about her miserable life under the cut. Its under a cut cuz uhhhhh sensitive topics below. Also long as hell

Carolina is my fallout oc/sona/its complicated. We'll say shes an oc cuz shes only really a sona when im playin the games and when thats happening the pronouns are they/them but since its just me playing the they/themming is only in the head.

Shes in 3/nv/4 and dear god she goes through so much trauma. Shes a mute chick w huge anger issues who tries not to show it by constantly being @_@ about life. She had a tumor in her throat when she was 1 yr old, which if it wasnt removed would have traveled to her brain, if it didnt close off her ability to breathe first. She had to have surgery to have it removed, taking her vocal cords in the process.

She has a huge love for repairing tech such as computers and bots, and when she was in the vault she dreamed of being the person to maintain the water chip. But as you know f3 story she never got the chance, only ever being a pipboy repairmen (which she did enjoy but due to how isolated she was she wanted water chip job more so she could be more important and liked). She has an incredible memory too ✌.

Cuz of her mutism she had like almost no friends aside from amata + a few adults, only furthering her @_@ ing and not showing her emotions. This leads to FURTHER isolating cuz everyone just thinks shes weird. She struggles a lot w her self image due to this isolation and kids pickin on her for being mute + tall, leading to struggles w anorexia. Throughout the 10 yrs old f3 to f4 she tries to recover from this, but cuz the apocalyptic world is harsh she doesnt get well off at first, becoming an alcoholic alongside it, due to in f4 shes brainwashed/reprogrammed (cyborg from nv dlc) into believing shes a 200 yr old mom searching for her son. Not only brainwashed but had surgery to look like the original nora. This only worsens her self image problems when she realizes the truth. The reason shes brainwashed is cuz Father believes shes incredible, and due to her work in washington/vegas, believing she should take his place. Originally he thought she was a true vault dweller, having no radiation. By the time he found out she wasnt, it was too late. But he persisted anyway, still considering her determination and the charisma she would gain from nora to make her an excellent leader.

When she realizes shes actually NOT nora, and that they gave her a dead womans voice, thoughts, face, this leads to her almost going over the deep end, for a moment considering horrible things from making her anorexia worse for a sense of control to simply finding a hole to die in. But in the end she decides instead to combine her personality w noras, since nora is now stuck inside her. Nora is a "program" of sorts, existing in the cybernetic part of carolinas brain. She was scanned from the original noras head, who died during the capturing of shawn. Due to her being a corpse there were a lot of memories gone, so a lot was filled in or simply left blank. Shes a ghost of herself but she doesnt wanna die again, so she stays alive through carolina, the two becoming a new one. Carolina is now more vulnerable, with new thoughts, but in a way she finds a peace in it, feeling less lonely even if the company isnt entirely true. They ofc arent totally harmonious, at times being completely separate mentally, but they over time find this to be a good thing, always seeing things in a new way, coming up with better ways to solve things. Her only other constant company is f3 dogmeat, who stays by her side ever since they met. But that changes when she has to take care of shawn, who believes shes his bio mother. Now she has more company with him involved.

Originally carolina doesnt wanna take care of him, being very traumatized by what happened w Father, but in the end he wins her over, so they travel together. Ofc carolina tells shawn the truth, that shes not his mom. But he in the end decides it doesnt matter, that shes really cool and he wants her to be his mom. With this relief, she changes her face back as much as she can, and removes noras voice from her. Because of their new relationship, carolina opens up more, having a healthier lifestyle to set a good example, and making promises to not be as reckless in battle, cuz he worries about her :(. Over time she starts expressing herself more, still ofc sometimes @_@ but thats cuz she has apocalyptic autism and Is Just Like That. But overall she learns to laugh and actually be happy cuz she has someone to love again, and this time she doesnt let ppl step over her. As she recovers and loves, she gains more weight and becomes fat and strong ^-^ leading to her passion of engineering being more easy due to having more energy.... Not to mention the flustering attention she gets cuz shes a beefy woman in the apocalypse.

Tldr: i take yer gruff depressed middle aged man w daughter and raise you: gruff depressed middle aged woman w son. + cute doggy :)

Danny is done. He is tired. He is dead. He deserves a sweet treat and to hibernate under fifteen weighted blankets for nine years.

Instead he is standing in the Gotham City cross country bus station with a dead phone and no sweet treats. He had had the misfortune of having avid ghost hunters as parents, who had demanded he help them with their latest invention instead of joining his friends on a fancy bus hired by Casper High to take them on a multiday, multicollege trip. Apparently they had made an agreement with the school that as long as he met the school trip in one of the cities and still paid for the whole trip, he could still take part and at least catch the school bus home.

Of course, exhausted after helping his parents, catching up on homework, and taking out some ghosts Danny ended up falling asleep on his bus. Now he was standing alone, cold, half-dead, in Gotham City’s main bus center with a dufflebag of clothes and backpack of ghost supplies his parents forced on him.

The school trip was, thankfully, passing through Gotham as one of the universities but they had multiple cities to hit before they got to Gotham. According to the itinerary it would take at least five days for them to hit Gotham and even then theyd be arriving late in the evening.

Danny had to find a place to stay for five nights and something to do for five days. Thankfully, Gotham city is seeped in ectoplasm which means its full of ghosts. Ghost who are more than happy to help a lost boy find a place to stay.

Danny chats with some ghosts, being pointed this way and that before he finds a nice old man dress in a fine suit with an unfortunate gunshot wound to his chest. The man offers to lead Danny to an excellent and cheap place to stay and Danny… is too tired to care honestly. He follows the ghost across the city, hails a taxi, repeats the address the ghost gives him, missing the taxi drivers shocked stare, and falls asleep in the taxi.

He is woken up by gentle taps on the glass by an older looking man and gives a half asleep mumbled thanks to the taxi driver as the old man takes his bags inside. Even in his tired state Danny has the sense to offer to carry his own bags but is politely and sternly refused by a british accent which is enough to wake him up.

Standing in the entrance way of a luxury… hotel? It doesnt seem to have a reception, though, and the decorations feel far to personalized. He glances around to find the helpful ghost staring wistfully at one of the larger portraits. A family of three, a beautiful woman with shoulder length dark curls, a young boy with dark hair and a bright smile, and the face of the kindly ghost.

The butler(?!) calls for Danny to keep up and he rushes to catch up, more out of instinct than sense. The ghost wanders casually after them, pausing to admire artwork every now and again.

The butler drops Danny’s bags in what seems to be a guest room, or maybe this really was just an incredibly fancy hotel, the room had its own ensuite, desk, and empty closet and chest of drawers. Honestly Danny couldnt even hazard a guess anymore.

The butler(manager?) informed him that breakfast was at 8 am sharp every morning and dinner was 6 pm sharp every evening. Danny gave a dazed nod which was apparently all the older man needed before he vanished back into the hallway. Almost as quickly as the ghost did after giving Danny one last cheeky grin.

Queue Danny being weirdly introduced to the Batfam and doing his best to avoid the adoption papers at all costs while also trying NOT to be eldritch and strange around this also eldritch and strange family.

Not gonna lie it is quite emotionally dispiriting for a certain category of people online to treat me like i'm a flagrant covid denier who doesnt mask or care about disabled people simply because i'm like "oh hey, your grandmother who doesn't wear a mask is a victim of the same systemic forces as you." or "hey, profound social isolation takes a toll on people that impacts their health and their behavior and that must be included in our risk calculations and mitigation strategies whether we like it or not"

but even if i never did any of those things, i would not deserve to get sick and die, because there are no morally acceptable COVID deaths, no matter what choices a person makes or doesn't make, no matter which mitigations they do or fail to do.

one of my close friends just got fired because her boss said she was "taking covid too seriously." that's the kind of evil we are up against here. not like, your friend's friend going to a concert and forgeting his mask in his other jacket that one time. that guy's still doing better than 90% of americans by having a mask he carries around with him in his jacket. he's not some eugenicist demon. he's some guy living in really miserable and difficult circumstances who made a to-be-expected-sometimes human error. and your grandma who has been propagandized into believing that COVID isn't a big deal (while in actuality being quite high risk herself) is a victim not an evildoer.

i saw a post the other day about how house ruins everyone that interacts with him and i went into full on protection mode. so lets talk about this.

yes, house is an asshole! thats a major part of his character. but he's not JUST an asshole, and he isn't a bad person. house cares so so much about his friends and his patients and the life he lives. he cares so much about the people around him, even though it's hard for him to show it! i've talked abt my house abuse thoughts here before but he grew up constantly moving around and never being able to make friends, and he also grew up being abused. it is not at all surprising that he is afraid of connection, of intimacy.

the thing is though - house shows again and again how much he cares. he cares so much about the people around him. he offers to kill thirteen when she can't handle it anymore. he's in love with wilson, even if you only want to see it platonically. he cares about patients. he cares so fucking much, and yet people, in the show ajd in the fandom, constantly try to describe him as someone who doesn't care at all. he doesn't just hurt people for fun.

the reality of the situation is that house has trauma and doesnt have an easy time showing it, and throughout the fandom and the show he is treated as some sort of monster. he deserves better across the board

✨Kaiju Siblings!!✨

Did something small & simple just to take things easy & also while having fun. I often enjoy drawing these two interacting with each other. At least in my version of things, they are in fact siblings. They both share a lot of things together & of course are the future heir to Godzilla’s name & status. However, each are very different in their personalities. At least how they treat & do things:

Junior is the more curious outgoing type. She loves meeting new friends & generally seeing/learning new things. More so, she’s the one to start conversations & ask a lot of questions. To her, she likes getting to know others better (for that reason she has a lot of friends). Junior can also even be more confrontational whenever necessary to be. Putting her skills as a kaiju to the test & being able to stand herself strong. She’s not afraid to intimidate (she can be pretty brutal with downsizing the other if deserved (I’ll provide an example later ^^:). But for the most part, she’s very sweet & overall very adorable in how she does certain things (making her more serious moments more unexpected lol)

Minilla on the other hand is very awkward & less outgoing like his sister (pretty much the opposite; an actual introvert). He always wants to prove that he can be just as strong & be a great kaiju like their dad. But in the end, he lets fear overcome him or suddenly the thoughts of failing already overwhelm him into thinking it would happen. Along with the thing that he doesnt exactly like confrontation or being outed as much. If anything, he prefers if all could get along peacefully (which isnt anything easy in the kaiju world. But however, he still wants to work on being more confident so he often looks up to others he sees as role models. Minilla’s own role models happen to be: Godzilla of course, Ultraman (he happens to be Ultraman’s biggest fan actually), & even his own sister. He’s still very much going at it. No matter how many times he fails, he still keeps going. Shows that he’s got a very strong will & pretty sure he’d be great as the next Godzilla

Junior very much deeply loves her own older brother (Minilla’s the oldest & Junior’s the youngest btw). She understands his struggle more than anyone, for that reason she’s more than willing to helping him out. She’s quite literally his biggest supporter & always brings to his attention whenever he did something well or showed improvement. As a matter of fact, Minilla has their own burst of celebration whenever they’re able to successfully accomplish something (think of it as a lil happy dance he does). She hugs him as a reward as a good job & despite her being younger than him, she has the big heart to care after him too (as a way to show her love). Minilla always loves watching Ultraman whenever on tv (in this universe, Ultraman both doubles as a celebrity superstar & actual hero for both the humans & kaiju; well, more of just a celebrity to the kaiju at least) & taking inspiration from his favorite hero. That way to boost his motivation & even getting ideas on how to be a more powerful kaiju. Minilla does in fact have to deal with Gabara in this version too. Despite of how much Gabara has made him feel afraid from being bullied by him, Minilla’s ready to fight back thanks to the help from others with him

Well those were just some of my own thoughts. I also gave them some outfits that i felt matched perfectly with their described personalities ^^

When you arrived, you felt a cold chill run down your spine, you tried to brush it off as the cold getting to you, but this was different. When you stepped inside, you felt a little sluggish. Muichiro was nowhere to be seen, but that wasn’t too unusual. “Muichiro, im here! Where are you?” At that moment you heard some violent coughs coming from his room. You quickly made your way down the hall and to his room, you didn’t bother knocking when you came up to his door.

When you opened it, you saw him hunched over coughing up flower petals. When he took a deep breath, he looked up at you. You stared at him in a horrified expression. “Hey y/n, I’m glad you made it.” You quietly shut his door as you walked to him, you kneeled down beside him as he grabbed onto you. “Hey are you okay?” He shook his head. “No, I don’t know what’s going on.” You sighed. “Basically it means you are receiving punishment for loving someone who doesn’t love you back. If you don’t get help you’re going to die.” He looked at you shocked. “But, I thought Iko liked me.” Oh yes of course, Iko. Poor Muichiro didn’t realize the girl was using him for her own gain. It pissed you off whenever he spoke so fondly of her, but you overheard her talking shit about him. “Y/n, how can I get helped?” You sighed as you shifted beside him. “Well, you won’t like it,” you breathed, “you’ll have to get a surgery, and unfortunately that means you won’t ever feel those feelings for that person again.” He took a painful deep breath. “But, I can’t stop loving her, I just can’t.”

Your anger got the best of you. “Dammit Muichiro, don’t you see?! She’s killing you. She doesn’t like you!” You had tears in your eyes, this selfish bitch was killing your best friend. He deserved someone better, someone who could treat him bet-wait..why did you care so much? You’re just friends, right? “How could you say that about her? She doesn’t know what she’s doing. Don’t ever speak about her that way ever again. You know what, just leave.” Your heart dropped as he said that last sentence, but you knew you had to go. You hesitated to get up, but when you did, the both of you felt cold. ————————————————————————

You hadn’t heard from Muichiro in a few weeks, but you had heard that Iko was now taking “care” of him. It pissed you off. Just thinking about her being with him in such an awful state made you mad. But why?

You knew his condition was worsening. You overheard from some of her friends how his state of health was, and it didn’t sound good.

You heard a knock on your door around a month later. You went to see who it was, only to be met by Muichiro. “Muichiro! Hi.” The look on his face looked apologetic. “Hey. Can I come in?” You nodded as you let him come in.

The two of you sat in silence in your living room. Muichiro decided he would be the one who broke the silence. “I’m sorry Y/n.” “It’s ok.” He tried to say something, but he couldn’t form any words. “So how are you?” He looked up at you and back down. “Um, well, I’ve been great. I uh got that surgery.” Your eyes went wide. “Really?” He nodded. “I overheard Iko talking about my condition to one of her friends and I decided I didn’t want to be inlove with her anymore. Especially when there was someone better all along.” Your heart thumped louder in your chest.

“Who are you talking about?” He looked into your eyes, signaling what you thought. Your eyes went wide as you blushed. Suddenly, he moved closer to you, closing the distance between you. Suddenly, he kissed you. It felt great, it really did. When he pulled back you touched your lips. “Why did- why did you do that?” He sighed. “Y/n, when I got the surgery it opened my eyes. Everything replayed in my head and I remembered how you acted whenever I mentioned her and it all clicked, and so did my feelings.” You blushed. “So you’re saying you like me?” He nodded. “Do you like me Y/n?” You sat there for a moment thinking. Is this why you had been so jealous? You couldn’t ignore the way your heart beat a little faster when you saw him. So maybe it was love?

“I do.” He smiled at you as he pulled you into a hug. “I’m glad. Thank you.” You smiled also. “For what?” He pulled back from the hug. “For reciprocating my love.” You blushed. You would do anything for him, and he knew that, and this was something you could easily do. ————————————————————————
