I am $150 short of what I need, by tomorrow, if I don't want a late fee on my rent. Taxi dispatch is super dead today, so in an attempt to drum up the cash I just drew a Cash Cow sigil on all the tires of my cab, under the theory the spinning of the tires might generate a charge like the spinning of a prayer wheel.

This is Random: I know.
But I think I am going to try to do something that people have been telling me to do for ages: I might go ahead and start a Podcast. O.o
Why? Well, for YEARS, people have been telling me that they like listening to me. Or that I am entertaining. That I am very animated and just enjoyable to listen to. They tell me I am in the wrong business all the time and that I should do Podcasts or Radio or Voice Acting. (I will dream about Voice Acting. That... is a biiiig stretch.)
So I might go ahead and try!
The issue - What the HECK do people talk about on Podcasts? What do people want to hear? Especially from ME? What am I supposed to do? What SHOULD I do? Omg ... this is why I never really tried. BUT WHO KNOWS NOW.

Scary Sunset.
I'm concepting things way outta order in this story, but I'm sure you can piece things together. Context is for a storybeat where, after defeating and capturing Adagio (thus having all three sirens in her possession), Sunset enacts her revenge plot to release the sirens on Canterlot as Thea discovers she's been manipulated. In a confrontation, the two scuffle and fight over the siren orbs while Sunset struggles with her conflicting wants and emotions.

Which is made even more fascinating because we don't get his POV.#But we get so many insights! His loss of control and his firmness all contrasted against how he trembles.#And all of that wrapped up in a wonderful self-loathing bow! You go Lan Zhan! Saying that shen jiu's abuse of luo binghe is "not necessarily evil" because abusing others can be a "cry for help" is surely a take....a very awful take. Yes he needed therapy, A LOT of therapy. But HE didn't want help, by that point he was committed to keep being miserable and make others suffer too, he wanted lbh to die, how the heck is that a cry for help?
He was a very traumatized adult in a position of power continuing the cycle of abuse, very aware of what he was doing, and who should have never been in charge of children

'lloyd is very weak now and needs to marry so he'll have someone to protect him'- lloyd has the only grandmaster on the world following him around like a puppy. he has the most terrifying motherfucker on the world wrapped around his little finger. he has the one person in the world who can hit an absolute in the head and get away with it swearing in his heart to protect him no matter the cost over and over again.
