But don't forget that in this moment they aren't on great terms.#It's not a knight in shining armor moment - it's a 'you were being treated unjustly and I have the power to absolve you from that.'#And as we are very soon about to see - WWX certainly cannot turn away from those who need aid he can provide.#And like Jin Guangyao; that kindness is also his downfall.#By the way - that you all for the amazing community commentary on the last comic. I'm just going to leave this at that #This was inspired by a dream I had about watching a post-apocalyptic(?) anime movie about two survivors going through their lives #Apologies if that one was yapped before in this blog. Trying to keep repeating statements already mentioned before is a habit I hope to avo #Anyway. It was almost a dialogue-less movie. actually not sure if the characters did say anything #The movie doesn't explain stuff to you. You just got dropped in a world and experience with the main characters for a few days #In the dream after watching that movie I went to Tumblr (naturally. Lol) and theories about it popped out #And there was a connverse cross-over fanart of it. Lmao #One of the main characters was EXTREMELY calm and stoic. And the connverse AU version of it was that's because Steven is in a comma and his #Pink mode activated as a defense mechanism against the creatures around while in such a state. 😭 So Pink Steven from Change Your Mind #And like. Oh? What if he's conscious? He's just watching his body have a mind of it's own and he can't control it? That's kinda terrifying #And of course like most of my dreams about shows I enjoy. Okay went to Petsmart tonight and puppy was a hellion!!!!!! It went like

> my shift ends at 17:30, puppy starts screaming in crate at 17:25

> I clock out at like 17:40 because I have a project damn it

> take puppy outside obviously he has to poop

> puppy won't poop

> okay it's 18:00 we need to buy kibble

> starts screaming halfway through the drive to Petsmart

> pull over at a park where there is a cop, a car with all the doors open, a random dog roaming on the creekside, and a flattened squirrel

> puppy won't poop

> okay the vibes here suck we're going to Petsmart

> puppy screams the whole way there

> get out of the car

> puppy pees like three times

> PUPPY WON'T POOP

> stand in the parking lot awkwardly for 15 minutes because I know puppy will poop inside if he doesn't go out here

season six of boy meets world has honestly just saddened me for the most part and then at other times made me wonder what the heck i just watched, but i genuinely raged at the ninth episode, 'an ode to holden caulfield' - mostly at cory but also at everything taking place??

#i do like that they're trying to make the development of shawn and angela's relationship realistic and show that neither find it easy #and i guess i'm mostly mad about the fact they set up such a heartwrenchingly satisfying dynamic between them only to tear it apart later #which yeah that's on me having grown up watching girl meets world first #but also the execution does pmo #i think the moment angela overhead shawn and slapped him was definitely needed but oh gosh i WISH she had let out all her feelings #hoping it gets better but y'all i'm so scared #in terms of eric rachel and jack #it was a somewhat interesting premise and did remind me a little of season two and feeny's SAT advice to eric #and the fact he was successful in hetting the others to relax and pass the exam reminded me of him teaching the civic class in season five #it was a small glimpse at how intelligent he really is - but ofc like always they have to hammer in how dumb he's become #the only thing that saved this episode for me was rider strong's beautiful poetry #it really touched me #boy meets world #shawn hunter #angela moore #shawngela #shawn x angela #eric matthews #george feeny #my post #thoughts #fandom things #also: i was interested to see what other people thought of this episode and i need to take my own advice not to leave tumblr for this fandom #bc tell me why the only thing i found was some white guy leaving a review of the episode and finding a way to insult angela's natural hair

i really wanted to try and write like, a thing explaining how i think steven universe future is one of the best portrayals (and my personal favorite) of mental illness in media, and how i think people misinterpreted it (me included at first, cause my experience over time has given me new perspectives) but i. AAA i literally dont even know if its necessary cause i dont know if people still think it was bad or a bad way to write steven (it wasnt!!) or like any of that, mostly cause. holy shit its just so obvious to me?

like i watch that show and i relate to him so much that i just understand it all and its so obvious to me and i dont know if other people find it. not obvious. like everything is right there in the text laid out i think

the main thing that i saw get misinterpreted when it aired was the second to last episode where steven turns into a fucking kaiju and everyone, again me included, thought that it felt rushed, but everytime i rewatch it i think... no it wasnt, actually. because we see it expecting a big fight or thinking it needs a whole lot to fix, but it doesnt. its not a fight, its someone having a mental breakdown and thinking theyre purely unlovable and evil, but being made to see that they are still lovable and arent evil even after all the bad theyve done, theyre loved unconditionally, and that other stuff mostly really doesnt matter (and hey, it can be fixed/dealt with later, its fine!)

its just my favorite show ever, specifically future! and i really wish other people would see what i see, but do i even need to try..? i didnt really write it very well anyway, but drafts exist for a reason. idk ive just been thinking about it a lot

TL;DR: i adore steven universe future and im wondering if anyone thinks its even necessary for it to be analyzed for people to maybe better understand it/do you think that there are enough people misunderstanding it that it needs a perspective to maybe help be more understood
