Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie, Lady Mallowan, DBE (née Miller; 15 September 1890 – 12 January 1976) was an English writer known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, particularly those revolving around fictional detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. She also wrote the world's longest-running play, the murder mystery The Mousetrap, which has been performed in the West End of London since 1952. It seems that not everyone is aware that the Roys from Succession are based on Rupert Murdoch and his family, a real family of Australian-American billionaires who own News Corp, one of the largest media conglomerates in the world whose properties include Fox News, The Sun, and the majority of news media outlets in Australia.

It’s in no way conclusive, but I highly recommend watching this CNN docuseries The Murdochs: Empire of Influence if you’re interested in learning the basics about how this one family of despicable people  have almost single-handedly controlled the Western media for the last 50 years and used their power to influence the public regarding things such as climate denial, Brexit, and the 2016 US presidential election.

I had this snippet of a recording off the TV but I can't remember what it was from?? Probably a history channel documentary. If anyone knows it was on some revised findings/recreations from the 70s about a statue that they didn't know about before. Pre-Roman I think.
