doctors are so fucking funny; if you go in like "based on my extensive research and corroborations i think i have this Disease" they will immediately go on the defensive and ask you demeaning shit like "how do you even know this Disease exists?" but if you go in and play stupid and say "gee whiz i'm just a silly little bimbo who doesn't know a thing but i have symptom, symptom, symptom, and symptom" they will very eagerly be like "oh wow, that sounds like Disease!"

Did a little redesign of the 7D, since I was feeling nostalgic! I enjoy their OG designs but I wanted to see what they'd look like using my personal guidelines when character designing, hehee >:] I could probably add my designing thoughts in a reblog, but I feel like most of these are Pretty straightforward. The only reason why Sneezy looks the most different is because I gave him lots of purple and a completely different outfit, which aren't present in his og design at all.

Thinking about bbs au where Tim talked first.

Kon processing the guy he made out with yesterday is also the teammate he just realised he has a crush on an hour ago and that he was just about to break it off with the guy he made out to ask his crush out so was about to break up with and then immediately ask out the same person: ...nothing.

in the au where tim spoke first, kon’s brain would go static for a very long stretch of seconds and he would vaguely consider that he was being pranked (tim somehow? figured out kon’s feelings for robin before kon did and is pulling some sort of? joke??) and tim would be like [fond sigh] you like pineapple on your pizza and you and bart are currently tied in your competition to see who can sneak attack me in uniform and the shampoo at the Tower always makes your hair extra fluffy which you only pretend to hate and also— [launches himself right at kon to springboard off kon’s shoulder in a patented robin battle-and-also-reaching-tall-cupboards move]

kon: [automatically catching him] okay okay OKAY just hold on i’m—

tim: [settling on kon’s shoulder] sure, yeah, take your time

kon: shut up i’m—you’re—the whole time?

tim: unless you think i’m some sort of shapeshifter—

kon: obviously i know you’re not a—are you. a shapeshifter

tim: if i were a shapeshifter i would’ve shapeshifted myself taller than bart by now

kon: fair enough. okay. so you. so i. so we.

tim: [nodding] getting there

kon: so that’s why you were so weird around nightwing

tim: okay, he deserved it

kon: oh my god, i yelled at superman about you. in front of batman and nightwing.

Hi, I have fallen deeply in love with your Down in the Deep au. My brain wants to share some thoughts. 

It would be funny if the ectoplasm was just making sure Danny has a better chance at surviving a new environment with basic adaptation, wonky but works. But now, it begins to mimic the "native" life forms of this dimension to get even better and comfortable. The more he explored, depending on who he encountered, his ghost biology goes, "Hmm, I like this; it's mine now," and Danny just keeps evolving until he's like the apex predator, but due to him meeting Sebastian first, it influenced his appearances to stay similar to the first creature he saw. 

Basically, little baby(fish)man until someone provoked him, then 

The people's misunderstanding can go two ways: either Urbanshade gave this kid the worse genetic milshake combo they could cooked up or Sebastian is going around (wiki said a female angler can have up to 8 males).

Or maybe Danny, with his teeth changing to the new diet, gnawed on Sebastian not knowing that he's basically injecting the man with ectoplasm in small doses. If theoretically, the unexplained DNA in him was the Pressure version of ectoplasm but also not (they're both extradimensional materials) he could become powerful or mutated beyond recognition. Months go by, luck won out and Sebastian realizes his tail is inches longer than it was supposed to be, and there seem to be patterns appearing on his body. Meanwhile, the cause of his evolution is still held in his arms, watching his "guardian" freak out.

still find it crazy that what allowed me to know what the hell the Ravenloft map system is like wasn't reading the map over again. It wasn't my notes and my Google Docs, or even YouTube videos going through it. It was a- it was a video of someone showing off their scale model of castle ravenloft IN MINECRAFT. They even had red stone traps set in place. Seeing someone go through it physically even in Minecraft made the dumb-ass elevator click so fast in my mind. All those stairs, all the connected levels suddenly made sense

...upon googling, this seems well-intentioned but needlessly complicated and prescriptive. I get that Words Have Meanings and Lesbian Has A Definition, but the phrasing of "lesbians are allowed" to feel this or "you can be a lesbian if" that just turns me off in a big way.

To me, the term lesbian can apply to you if you:

are somewhere on the vague Woman side of the gender spectrum (not necessarily she/her or calling yourself 100% A WomanTM)

are attracted to people on that same side of the spectrum. the term usually applies an exclusivity of attraction to women/woman-aligned people nowadays, but there's historical precedent for "lesbian" just meaning "woman who likes other women regardless of other attraction," so...that's complicated

the rest of it boils down to "what am I, a cop?" for me

"but this male fictional character-"

"what am I, a cop?"

"but in the past I had boyfriends-"

"what am I, a cop?" [I had boyfriends as a teen actually. for me, that turned out to not be real attraction. for some people, it might have been! not a cop!]

Again, I think whoever wrote it was trying to help questioning or confused people in good faith. But any attempt to make something so complex and personal, simple and universal, is inevitably going to fail
