Emilia Smith (Female Yandere x Female Reader)
Contains: Emotional Manipulation
Emilia meets someone who's indifferent to her charms.
Tumblr media
Emilia was used to getting what she wants, may it be attention, clothes or anything else that wanted, she was not only pampered by her Aunt and Uncle, but she was also pampered by her peers.
There was something about her that made them want to protect her or do everything that she asks.
Because of that, she has a bad reputation from girls because she's stolen their boyfriends from them.
She was always being cornered by the girls and being intimidated by them, they were so annoying, so she decided to use her charms to her advantage and would target her bullies and turn people against them.
So Imagine her surprise when she had first met you, people often complimented her looks, even the people that had just met her, often telling her she was like an angel.
Though, they don't seem to know her true form.
The two of you met at a library, she was out to read quietly and couldn't reach a book she was eyeing since the books placement was too high up for her to grab it, though a hand had already grabbed it and handed it to her.
Her wide doe eyes looked at your tired ones as you looked down at her, she had flashed you an innocent and bright smile as a small 'thank you' left her lips.
You had just nodded and went to another section of the library, looking for the book you needed to read for a report.
While you left Emilia alone, she stared at you with her mouth agape.
You didn't react?
Like at all??
No, maybe it's because you were a girl that you didn't budge much from her charm, you'll come along when the two of you met again.
And boy was that day too soon.
Apparently, you had started becoming a Professor's assitant in the college that Emilia had been studying at, it was like pure coincidence.
Whenever Emilia saw you, she would bother you with questions about the teachings that you help with, just wanting to get some sort of reaction from you.
But alas, you were more harder to please than she had originally thought.
You were strictly professional, you weren't kind or laid back as a Professor's Assistant, you took your job seriously and would be super focused during discussions.
It made Emilia feel weird.
No man has ever made her feel this way, so to think that she is feeling this way because of you, a woman, was indifferent to her charms.
Little did Emilia know was that she didn't feel that way towards any man was because she wasn't actually into men.
She only wanted their attention.
~♥~
Another one done!~ This was sitting in my drafts for a bit because I didn't know how to continue Emilia's story.
But anyways, I hope you enjoyed this! If you want to send me asks or requests about my current oc's then let me know!

Oasis Springs Side Quest: Part V (The Finale)
This tarot-reading pose pack by @radioactivedotcom is the main one I used! Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck and spreads by @the-dewofthesea with some personal tweaks by me.
Previous / Next
Transcript under the cut.
Celeste: “Now, darling, what question will we be posing to the universe tonight?”
Helena: “Oh, I… Well, that’s a pretty loaded question in itself. Maybe we should just ask what I’ll have for breakfast tomorrow morning.”
Ulrike: “Take this seriously, Zhao!”
Helena: “I am. But what if I ask the wrong thing and learn, like, the exact date of my death?”
Ulrike: [chuckles] “I don’t think that’s quite how it works.”
Helena: “Fine. Then I guess I’ll ask what my final year of college has in store.”
Celeste: “Good. I’ve cut the deck. Now, choose four cards at random and, without looking, place them face down in the center of the table. Let’s see what the cards have to tell us about your future. They’re more illuminating some days than others, so we must be receptive to whatever they’re willing to divulge.”
Helena: [nervously] “So what are they saying so far?”
Celeste: “Patience, dear. The full meaning will not become apparent until all the cards are laid out. We must reveal the fourth before we’ll know. Oh. Well, this certainly makes things more interesting.”
Helena: [groans] “Oh, God, what is it?”
Celeste: “You’ll not want to take this one at face value.”
Helena: “Just show me!”
Celeste: [holds up the Death card]
Helena: “Oh, you have got to be kidding me! Damn it, Faust! Why did I let you talk me into this?”
Ulrike: [cracks up] “The way you jumped like Grim himself just entered the room.”
Celeste: “Death is almost never meant to be taken literally in the context of the tarot.”
Helena: “Almost never?!? That seems to imply that it sometimes is!”
Celeste: “Let’s take in everything we’ve got here before jumping to conclusions.”
Helena: “Well, the Lovers has to be us, right? Oh, God, our relationship is going to die, Ulrike.”
Ulrike: “Will you stop freaking out and let her do her job?”
Celeste: “This spread is all about transformation. Many changes are brewing, some more difficult than others. Your relationship will be one of them. You’ll find yourself up against a great obstacle, and the outcome of that struggle will determine if the connection between you and your partner strengthens or weakens.”
Helena: “Okay... And what about the Magician? How does he fit into all this?”
Celeste: “Well, the Magician may symbolize self-actualization. You’ll have to tap into your inner strengths to face the decisions ahead. But it can also be a warning.”
Helena: “A warning of what?”
Celeste: “Illusion, deceit, manipulation. Perhaps a situation that is not as it seems or an untrustworthy individual.”
Helena: “Please don’t tell me I’m going to fall for an MLM scheme.”
Ulrike: “Helena!”
Helena: “What? It’s a valid concern.”
Celeste: “Whatever or whoever crosses your path, the Queen of Swords reminds you of your fortitude. She advises you to remain clear-headed, rational, and objective in your decision-making.”
Ulrike: [snorts] “You’ve already got that part down, Zhao.”
Celeste: With Death comes rebirth, and it is up to you to determine what you make of this new life when it arrives.”
Ulrike: “What’s the verdict? Are you a believer now?”
Helena: “Eh, not really. Transformation, hard decisions, inner strength… It’s so vague! She must follow the same script every time.”
Ulrike: “That Death card got you pretty bad.”
Helena: “It just caught me off guard is all.”
Ulrike: “And all that talk about deception?”
Helena: “I doubt I’ll be meeting a con artist any time soon.”

It’s as if you are born once again in a pristine body devoid of any memories.
Except that it wasn’t in any way pristine, nor were you a newly-born infant.
You are lying on a ruined land, rough ground forming blisters on your bare back. When you sat up, what daunted was a doomsday: a village piled with carcasses, full of dead bodies. You are the only one alive—no, you are the only one unbruised out of all that had died. You don’t remember anything.
It’s as if you are born once again in a pristine body devoid of any memories.
Except that it wasn’t in any way pristine, nor were you a newly-born infant.
You are nothing. In a vast space with nothing but carcasses, the only thing you have is a body, not even clothes that the corpses wear.
It is until a blonde man with a beard and glasses spoke from behind, “Aren’t you cold?” He knelt and wrapped you up with a thick white cloth. “That’ll do for now, would you mind? I can’t afford my soldiers blushing amidst this tragic scene.” It sounded like a joke — at least you had the baseline comprehension to understand so. “Yelena, it’s all clear!”
“Who are you?”
He put his hand on his chin as if to think about it, so lack of seriousness and urgency as if no one’s dead at all. His face soon changed when he laid his eyes on you again, “Shall we have a deal first?”
“Who are you?”
“Look at your surroundings. Do you have any idea what just happened?”
Roaming your eyes all over, your question really did change. You gulped as fear reckoned inside, “What happened?”
“You killed them. All of them.” And unlike his jokey tone, he scooted his face nearer to whisper with dead eyes, “And I could do the same to you right now with one wrong move.” If his goal was to intimidate, it sure did work; your primal urge to survive kicked in, proving a semblance of humanity in your empty vessel. “I won’t make things complicated. All I want is for you to accept my deal.”
You stared at him, blank and confused, and thus his face turned casual again.
“Don’t get too scared, though! I’ll give you the benefit of a decent life despite all the lives that you took from my men!”
That was the last ping for you to understand the gist of your disposition. He really wasn’t lying because lots of corpses are wearing the same uniform as him. Fear reeked further inside with nothing in mind but the primal desire to survive.
“What’s the deal all about?”
The question was followed by a painful injection shot on your nape. Zeke got a bit surprised but it was followed by a chuckle, “Don’t just strike from behind, Yelena.”
“You can save the talk for later, Zeke. We should neutralize her first. Who knows what she can do?”
You resisted out of impulse, but the said Yelena grabbed your head and shoved it at Zeke’s chest. You can almost feel your neck tear apart with the reeking pang of fluid. You can hear it gushing. You can feel how huge the needle is. You groaned and wiggled away, but Zeke caught you in his arms with soothing hums. It won’t take long, it won’t take long. There, there, young lady. You can do it.
When the fluid emptied, Yelena harshly dropped you and then tied your arms behind your back. The cloth fell off; she heeded it no mind. Zeke let out a light tsk, “Have some pity on her. Can’t you feel how cold the breeze is?” But then he got distracted by the blister on your stomach. “Oh, poor you. We have to treat this later on.”
“Quite unique that your eyes are not lurking around her boobs."
Zeke shook his head in dismay then nonchallantly wrapped you up with the cloth again, “That’s very untimely, Yelena.”
“Continue your talk. We’ll be waiting at the base."
You felt utterly dizzy. Your vision is wobbly and Zeke is multiplying kaleidoscopically. He knew it well hence he held onto your shoulders for support. “So speaking of the deal…”
“Deal…” you blankly muttered with the last bits of consciousness.
“There, there,” Zeke’s palm caught your cheek that was about to fall on the ground. “Be a good soldier by my side and you shall live that undeservingly decent life. That’s a bit generous offer, don’t you think?”
“H-huh…”
“Think about it, I couldn’t be so generous anymore if you were to turn me down. The least that I could do by then is make you choose how you want to die.” He tapped your cheek. “Hear me? Oh, don’t tell me you’re about to faint. You hadn’t even told me your name yet!”
“H…hah…”
When your consciousness fluttered away for good, you felt him catch you. The kaleidoscope roamed all over your vision until it was no more. His soothing voice slowly transitioned into tip taps of the water, and the reeking smell of corpses changed into a rusty chamber. When you opened your eyes again, what daunted is still a blonde, but it’s not Zeke anymore.
“That’s quite rude, spacing out in the middle of a life-changing contract.” Erwin deadpanned.
“What?” roaming around the surroundings answered the prompt. You’re in a torture chamber and the Commander is forming up a shenanigan. “The deal, yeah, we’re talking about a deal.”
“A loyal wildcard that wouldn’t break for me in exchange for a decent life amidst the crimes you had done with my men — was my offer too much to handle for your consciousness to slip away? I thought it was a generous one.”
Oh, nothing had changed. From the first memory you ever had of this world up to your tied-up figure now, you still have nothing. Nothing but generous offers of blondes who would kill you in a snap for noncompliance.
“What do you know about me? Let’s start from that before running through the deal.”
“You’re speaking as if I could offer you another choice.”
“I can’t deal with someone who doesn’t know the hell he is trying to pry in.”
The Commander nodded at the given point, impressed. Without further ado, he shoved the medical equipment away and pulled your chair so you’d hear properly the things he was about to say. “The mysterious massacre at the Marleyan port involving soldiers and citizens alike. I heard that caused an impediment with the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers and yet…” he tipped his head to the side, looking a bit too curious about the answer. You’re uncertain if he’s just messing around or he really doesn’t know. “It was reported that the instigator was safe kept by Zeke and masked as a newly recruited underling. Oh, if only there weren’t any witnesses.”
The Commander stood up and walked behind your back and — much to your uncomfortability — glazed his fingers on your nape. He lightly pressed on a spot in the middle; the jitters ran through your nerves, roaring your heartbeat louder. “And as we speak, serum fluid is running through your nerves. How cruel of him to put you on a leash without your consent.”
Your breathing went labored, hands went colder — this man really knows what he’s talking about; he very much knows the hell he is trying to pry in. Maybe—just maybe—he even knows more than you.
His hands slid towards your shoulder next. He leaned his head, mouth nearer to your ear so you’d hear the first package of his deal, “Since it’ll be your first job under my command, I won’t impose much burden on your hands. All you have to do is prove that you really can be an unbreakable weapon for the Scouts.”
Despite the utter feeling of powerlessness, of lack of control, of lack of everything since the day you got “born,” you kept yourself intact. “How would I do that?” The question was muttered with no hint of bother, just as you vehemently attempted so.
“You just have to wait until he screams. If you turned into a titan, then my soldiers would release you of your despair. If not, then you don’t have to prove anything else — our deal officially starts by then.”
You just have to wait until he screams. If you turned into a titan, then my soldiers would release you of your despair.
If you’d be honest, your powerlessness includes ignorance. Not even you know the answer to that question — that’s what tied you to the sweet ruthless Zeke after all.
However, despite the looming answers, you had quite a twisted wish.
You wish his scream would really turn you into a mindless monster, which Erwin’s crew could dispose of so quickly. The most pleasant deal you’ve gotten so far was his, after all. The pleasant deal of releasing you of your short-lived despair — of the lives you took, of the leash tied at you, of the shackles wrapping your hands behind your back.
The best deal you’ve got was with the Commander of this hell of an island.
With that in mind, you looked him in the eye and nodded, “Not like I have something else to lose.”
The Commander, now satisfied with the ordeal, offered you a cordial smile. “Worry not, I swear to treat you better than they did.”

WELP… that took quite a dark turn. for context of this AU, i’m exploring a rather dead theory about how ymir just altered the canon timeline so eren would have no choice but to do the rumbling! i don’t believe in that theory myself but for the sake of this fanfic, this will revolve in a setting where:
mikasa ANSWERED eren properly (you're not just a family something something) and so they ran away together. BUT DON'T worry, eren will still run behind the curtains. his characterization just wouldn't sit still, i know) and;
both armin and erwin lived
but why these two variables? why did ymir not alter the timeline in favor of the rumbling? that’s where you enter the picture. good luck!
ALSO, sharing this colossal titan!erwin smith. whew.

MOVIES I WATCHED THIS WEEK (#197)
"How did she get forgotten?"
BE NATURAL: THE UNTOLD STORY OF ALICE GUY-BLACHÉ (2018) was one of the best documentaries I saw last year. And because I focus more and more on women-directed movies, I had to watch it again. What a unique, fascinating pioneer she was, and how much did her amazing achievements change the world. Narrated by (another prodigy) Jodie Foster. Like ‘The Méliès Mystery’ biography, these two are a must-see for any serious film lover. Even in re-view, the story moved me greatly. 10/10. ♻️.
Extra: Another film essay about the same topic, FILMS DIRECTED BY WOMEN IN THE SILENT ERA (2013) tells of some of the 80 women who directed 850+ movies between 1896 to 1927 (but not too well). [*Female Directors*]
🍿
"Do you think we can go for a walk with a lobster...?"
THE WHEELCHAIR (1960) is my second bizarre black comedy by Marco Ferreri (after 'La Grande Bouffe'). A different kind of an anarchistic story about a 70-year-old Spanish man who's determined to buy a mobility scooter, a motorized wheelchair, like many of his invalid acquaintances, while his tyrannical family would rather commit him to an insane asylum, for spending their inheritance. It's just so wild and so fresh. The copy I saw was extra-crisp, and included the dark ending which Franco's censure board forced deleting. (Screenshot Above).
The trailer.
🍿
2 WITH BRITISH CHILD ACTRESS PAMELA FRANKLIN:
🍿 “For those who like that sort of thing that is the sort of things they like…”
THE PRIME OF MISS JEAN BRODIE (1969) sparkled because of Maggie Smith's spectacular acting. But her frustrated spinster, an uppity teacher at an all-girl boarding school in 1930's Edinburgh was such a confusing character; Stuck-up and prissy, fascistic and manipulative, eventually she loses your sympathy. She is a strong, independent feminist, but also a fascist follower of Mussolini and Franco [But not Hitler - that would have been a politically-incorrect step too far]. And when the sex undercurrents start boiling over the surface, and the teachers start sleeping with each other and with their teenager girls, things get grotesquely complicated.
🍿 (Extra: A sketch from S8E10 of the CAROL BURNETT SHOW, where newly-famous movie star Maggie Smith comes to visit the home of her old collage friends. I never watched any television with laugh tracks, and I'm not going to start now). 1/10.
🍿 THE INNOCENTS (1961), a Gothic ghost story of a governess caring for two children at a remote country estate. Based on a Henry James novella, with a script co-written by Truman Capote, it's a formal British Victorian Gentry fantasy about inexplicable "possession". 11 year old Pamela Franklin gave a wonderful performance as the little haunted girl, but the whole premise of this glorious upper-class supernatural world, and Deborah Kerr's always 'proper' and sexually-repressed personality, were not for me. 2/10.
🍿
KEANU REEVES X 2:
🍿 First watch: The classic dystopian fairy tale THE MATRIX, which went on to spawn a $3 billion sci-fi franchise. There were plenty of visual flourishes, and original special effects in it [The 'digital rain' code, slow-motion 'bullet time', the Kung-fu wire photography, jumping from building to building, the stylized action scenes], but I hated it from the very beginning, and for the life of me, couldn't understand how this ever become a Thing: The fortune-cookie pseudo-philosophy, the faux mysticism and cyberpunk "camp" aesthetics are just not for me. Once you don't accept that the "Red Pill / Blue Pill" metaphor is a legitimate thought experiment which is worth taking seriously, the rest of the mambo-jumbo nerd-bubble becomes just a stupid teenage game. Yes, we are all slaves, living in a virtual reality simulation, but this is not a Plato's Cave allegory. Not even 'Blade Runner'... 2/10. [*Female Directors*]
🍿 ANYONE CAN QUANTUM (2016), a self-congratulatory trifle narrated by Keanu. Another speculative science-fiction piece in which Paul Rudd plays Quantum Chess with Steven Hawking. Silly. 1/10.
🍿
FELA KUTI, LIVE AT GLASTONBURY, a 1984 concert film of the legendary Afro-beat musician, political activist and band leader. He was an improvising innovator genius, somewhere between Frank Zappa and Miles Davis. The concert included only 2 of his very long songs, some of his own fantastic drumming, and lengthy dancing-twerking by some of his 27 wives. But it wasn't his best music or performance. Also, the YouTube copy was of poor quality: I hope that in 3-4 years we'll be able to re-watch it on a highly-upgraded A.I. version.
🍿
BILLY WILDER DIRECTS X 2:
🍿 WHAT WOULD BILLY WILDER DO?, a new 'Every Frame A Picture' video essay. A return to the original old style of Tony Zhou & Taylor Ramos!
🍿 ... But Wilder's 'comedy' STALAG 17 (1953) didn't age well, for me. A POW Camp that is run like a German Bed & Breakfast, and where the chummy Nazis treat their prisoners in a courteous and friendly manner, was too irritating and far-fetched. The only redeeming quality was lead actor William Holden. Otto Preminger played a buffoonish Nazi officer. 2/10.
(In Israel of the 1950s–1960s, "Stalag" was a generic term for pornographic material with a theme of sadistic sexual activity between female SS officers and prisoners of war. I read a couple when I was 10-12.)
🍿
THE HANGOVER, the terrific comedy about the antics of the four members of the 'Wolfpack', each with his distinct and well-defined personality. A perfect script and dialogue, so dumb and so funny. It's clearly about 'Acceleration', where each new step drives the story higher into more outrageous & absurd levels. Again, it's hard to imagine that such harmless throwaway foolery grossed $1.4 billion! 9/10. Re-watch. ♻️.
🍿
MILK X 2:
🍿 According to IMDb, there are over 100 movies (mostly shorts though) that are titled 'MILK', not counting many TV-episodes. Why is that?
MILK (2020), a vegetarian German short with the most disgusting soundtrack, which asks the question: What would happen if people were to be used in the same way as dairy cows?
🍿 MILK, my third by British Andrea Arnold, her debut short from 1998. A story of a woman who gives birth to a stillborn baby, and doesn't know what to do with her sorrow. [*Female Directors*]
🍿
2 MORE FROM ERIC KISSACK:
🍿 'The Gunfighter' was one of the best short films about invisible voices in the Old Wild West. His new THE MOVE is somehow similar in that there's a science fiction kink to the physical reality, which cannot be explained. But while Amanda Crew (Monica Hall from 'Silicon Valley') is still cute as a button, the boyfriend who moves with her into their new apartment with 'the portal' is just an irritating dude.
🍿 WEREWOLVES (2014) also reminds me of 'The Gunfighter'. Obviously, some of the same people, arguments, inner logic. Who's the Werewolf?
🍿
A BUNCH OF SHORTS:
🍿 RELAX WITH GEORGE CLOONEY AT THE END OF A MOVIE: Michael Clayton dreams of 'The Descendants' watching 'March of the Penguins'. Can be used for a chill session.
🍿 THE PROCESS OF MAKING A CELLO is a 27 minutes of wordless zen: Watching a Japanese master craftsman hand-build a cello in the course of 6 months. Perfect for another chilling out evening.
🍿 HOW IN THE WORLD ISN'T THIS FILM A CLASSIC? is the latest from 'Moviewise', an intellectual essayist with an indefinable accent. I've seen a bunch of his videos before, as well as the subject of this terrific analyses, John Farrow's stylish 1948 'The big clock'. A great introduction to both film and reviewer. 9/10.
🍿 The 'Script Sleuth' analyses some SCREENWRITING TIPS IN 'GOODFELLAS': Character, The Story World, Dramatic Irony, Narration, Humanity and Consequences.
🍿 TO YOUR HEALTH was a cute animated PSA, commissioned by the Michigan State Board Of Alcoholism in 1956. Cheers!
🍿 THE LANGUAGE OF FACES (1961), my first film by humanist John Korty, the man who inspired Coppola and Lucas to move their studios to Northern California. It's a visual anti-nuclear essay about pacifism, which was sponsored by a Quaker group. It describes a vigil that 1,000 cold-war protesters held, standing in silent for two days in front of the Pentagon.
🍿 THE HISTORY OF THE PINK PANTHER FILMS - Should i watch 'The return of the pink panther'? or 'A shot in the dark'?
🍿 THE QUEEN'S MONASTERY (1988) is a British fairy tale using watercolor animation. [*Female Director*]
🍿 I was interested to find movies based on Jorge Luis Borges stories, but the 1971 Italian THE MINOTAUR MASK wasn't it. A man with a plastic King Kong mask pondering his existence in badly-lit cellars and uttering philosophical platitudes was experimentally silly.
🍿

Loving is Easy
Tumblr media
Part Eighteen : Lover,Lover
Negan Smith x Reader
Rick Grimes x Reader
Modern AU
Summary: Life becomes complicated as you try to maintain relationships with two older men, your boss and an old family friend.
Warnings: Angst
The usual knock on your door came. Rick entered even though you didn't say anything.
"Sweetheart, are you mad at me?" He asked.
You didn't look up from your laptop.
"Are you acting this way because I told you I love you?"
"That's not a conversation I think we should have here."
You continued typing as he observed you.
"Well I called you yesterday, you didn't answer. So, when will we talk about it?"
You looked up then. He was making sad eyes at you, a thing that had worked on you before, but not anymore.
"Let's talk after work."
"Carl's staying at Lori's tonight. We can talk at my house."
"Yeah, sure. See you then." You said offhand, trying to keep your attention on your work.
He stood there. Waiting. You were not going to let him guilt you into spending more time with him than was absolutely necessary.
When he still didn't leave, you told him you had a lot of work to get done and didn't have time for lunch today. He sighed, an all suffering sigh and left.
•••••••••••••
Standing outside of Rick's ostentatious house, your stomach felt queesey with anxiety. You rang the doorbell. You waited. After a minute or two he opened the door.
"Hey," He hugged you, but you did not return the hug. "Come on in."
You walked in ahead of him through the hallway into the living room.
"Can I get you anything? Do you want some water-"
"I heard you talking to Maggie the other day." You interrupted. "I know what you two have been up to."
Rick kept a neutral expression.
"I don't understand."
"You want to get married. You want a wife and Maggie talked you into thinking it would be me."
"Now, wait a minute. You're makin' it sound like there's some kind of conspiracy-"
"Isn't there? Didn't the two of you conspire to manipulate me into marrying you?"
He crossed his arms over his chest.
"All Maggie did was give me advice on wooing you. What's wrong with that?"
"But you do want to get married?"
"Yes, but-"
"To me?"
"Of course to you. I am in love with you!"
You glared at him.
"I think I understand why you're so angry with me." Rick came and sat next to you. "You're in love with me too and that scares you." He took your hand in his. "You don't have to be afraid. I'm not gonna hurt you, Sweetness. I'd never leave you."
You looked into his eyes, his beautiful blue eyes. You weren't the least bit conflicted.
"I don't know what you overheard, but I was probably anxious because you've been pushing me away. Maybe I was even frustrated, because I see my future so clearly with you and I worry that you don't see the same in me."
He caressed your cheek and jaw.
"You are so vital to me." He squeezed your hand lightly.
"I love you."
There were those words again. The last time you heard them they had made you want to run. This time however they made you want to punch him in the face.
"I'm offended that you thought that would work on me, Rick. I know I can be a mess, but I'm still a fucking therapist and I know manipulation and gaslighting when I see it." You stood up.
After meeting with Daryl and realizing how much pain you had caused him the guilt and shame you felt were immense. You had promised yourself that if anyone ever entrusted you with their heart again you would treat them better than you had treated Daryl. Now, seeing this man use love as a way to get what he wanted out of you was making you sick.
"I know what Maggie is capable of and I know damn well what I heard. Lori was right about you. You are a condescending manipulative asshole. I mean, really, did she ever really say she slept with Negan or is that another lie?"
"You have got to be kidding me. You can't take anything my exwife says seriously. She's bitter. She doesn't want me to be happy. Look at how she's coming between us -"
"You can go fuck yourself. Consider this my two weeks notice. You'll have an official letter of notice tomorrow morning." You turned your back on him and made your way back outside.
•••••••••••
You didn't bother with a hello when Maggie finally picked up.
"What the fuck did I ever do to you?"
"What? Who is this?" She asked, confused.
"What's a matter? Try to manipulate the lives of too many people lately to remember which is which?"
She said your name.
"That's right. Now where the fuck do you get off trying to maipulate me into marrying some guy?"
She huffed into the phone.
"I wasn't trying to manipulate you. I was trying to help you sort out your life. It's a mess. If you keep going the way your going your gonna end up heart broken and alone. I don't want that for you."
You clenched your fist.
"That wasn't for you to decide. You know I hate it when my mom oversteps. Why would you think it was okay for you?"
"Look, Rick isn't a bad guy. He's supportive, he's honest and kind. Why wouldn't I want someone like that for you-"
You cut her off.
"He's not honest and he's not kind. I trusted both of you. I told you things about me that I don't go around sharing with everyone. You ignored what I wanted and tried to decide on my future for me. This isn't something I'll just get over, Maggie. You betrayed me."
"I'm sorry you feel that way, but someone had to do something. You needed an intervention." She didn't sound sorry in the least.
"I can't trust you. So, I won't let you be a part of my life anymore. Good Bye Maggie. Even though you back stabbed me, I still wish you and Glen the best." You told her.
"Wait. You can't be serious? I'm your best friend-"
You hung up on her and blocked her number. You didn't care what else she might have to say. There was no room in your life for people that weren't going to respect your boundaries

I feel like people try too hard to keep Sauron "in character", to the point that they super-impose the 3rd Age LOTR Sauron onto the 2nd Age TROP Sauron. To the point that people attribute everything he does to a manipulation, thinking that the guy does everything as planned, as if he can't do an action because he just feels like it, or make a decision based on emotions. That is just... Not how I saw even LOTR Sauron. Plus, a lot can happen to a guy in several millenia, yk? (And I believe we will even see this road of his in later seasons).
I will give you the scene where he apologises for killing Galadriel's brother, for example.
Rewatching it, you can absolutely tell that Sauron seriously intended to stay in Numenor and do nothing but simple smith work.
He wasn't lying later to Gal when he said he had all but given up at this time frame - he really did. In that moment, he believed himself to be a giant failure, all his plans had fallen through, even the orks mutinied against him and his close servant/friend (because it is obvious he and Adar were close - 1) how else would one disembowel fucking Sauron unless he trusted his back to that person? 2) he would NOT act THAT angry if that betrayal wasn't personal on some level) betrayed him and murdered him - so at this stage he is in the "to hell with it all, I give up, I am a loser, let me just smith cutlery and horse shoes in peace" frame of mind.
But then comes Galadriel asking him to help her take the Southlands, refusing to take "no" for an answer.
As a side note, I find this part of the scene interesting:
Tumblr media
Love the actor's work as well here - how his stare becomes vacant as he loses himself in the dark memories.
(And he is turned away from Galadriel here. She doesn't see his face at all. At. All. So, unless he is trying to manipulate coals, the emotions on his face are. All. Real.)
"You don't know what I did. How I survived...
And, as he gazes into the fire, it's not his memories that come (as would be expected out of this cimetographic tactic), but the present scene of the villagers submitting and kneeling to Adar and the orks.
Tumblr media
Legitimately, his words here are narrating over the people kneeling to Adar. Right over this moment. I kid you not, go rewatch it, if you do not believe me.
This, here, is a 100% tell that, at least in this story, as TROP authors intended it, the idea is that Sauron's continuous service to Melkor was a matter of survival. You don't make such an obvious parallel unintentionally.
So, while he came to serve him probably out of his young foolishness and ambition, but that, down the road, it became simply impossible to change sides, even if he wanted too, unless he was willing to sacrifice his life for it.
Going back to the point. So, Sauron, as Galadriel asks him to abandon his own plans and help her with her quest, demands that she gives him an honest answer why she pursues her goals.
She turns away from him in tears and:
"The company I led mutinied against me"
Mmmm?🤔
"My closest friend conspired with the King to exile me"
MMMMM?🤔🤔🤔
(what could it be reminding me of I wonder??)
Tumblr media
What? What is it, Sauron? Why are you making this sad version of a surprised Pikachu face?? And to her back no less, where she can't even see you doing your obviously manipulative surprised sad faces😆
(Seriously, guys, he even does a small gasp here)
And Galadriel's next words:
"Because they could no longer distinguish me from the evil I was fighting"
...beyond being a hilarious irony (because, yk? said evil is standing right behind you, Gal), are supposed to clarify for those that didn't get it from his shocked face what exactly ran through Sauron's mind at that moment, that surprised him so much:
"We are alike".
Bingo. So there you have it. What made Sauron change his mind and follow Galadriel was not some masterplan where he decided that her quest to the Southlands would be very beneficial for him - but simply he recognised a kindred spirit and he felt he could understand what she was going through and empathised with her, decided to help her.
Bonus - after he just discovered for himself that they have much in common and apologised for killing her brother, she says:
"Your sorrow cannot ease my pain.
And nor will a hammer and tongs ease yours.
There is no peace to be found for you here.
And nor for me.
No lasting peace in any path, but that which lies across the sea.
I have fought for centuries to earn mine.
This is how you earn yours."
(even her words here are perfectly paralleled, casting them as mirrors of each other)
And after saying this she leaves. And he stays looking like this:
Tumblr media
- which, again, no one is witnessing, except the empty smithy.
So, in conclusion, Sauron follows Galadriel because: a) he feels a sense of guilt towards her; b) he cannot ignore it because he understands her and he feels they are alike; c) a person he feels they have a lot in common with is sure that "there's no peace to be found for the likes of us here", so yes, it makes him first hesitate and then change his mind about staying in Numenor and living a simple ordinary life; d) while he did plan to just live as a simple smith in Numenor, it was never what he actually wanted for himself. His failures together with his guilt made him give up, but Galadriel gave him hope that he could be something more and do something good. And that was always his dream and his ambition.
I believe it's not before they came to Eregion and he heard about the mirthril and the Elves' plight that it all came to him how he could restart his previous plans that he had abandoned because of continuous failures (and Adar physically banishing him from existence).
PS: and no, it is not Galadriel's fault, because nothing she said here was wrong. Sauron stood on a crossroad and he had a real chance here - where he was wrong-footed and doubted all his previous beliefs - he had a chance to choose the right path. But instead he chose subjurgation of others (and I do not believe it was because of his nature as Dark, but because of his previous experiences, what they shaped him out to be). If anything, the one to blame is Adar with his untimely volcano show, because - who knows? - had they had more time, maybe Sauron could have found the right footing. Instead, before he could unlearn his worse life lessons and learn new better ones, he, sort of, came to the Tree of Knowledge in Eden.

Reader ideas I think would be cool in a fic but also stem from daydreaming:
(Below the cut cus’ I wrote a lot)
• Reader who works at a nightclub/rave type-scene, just a bunch of neon lights and loud music and are dressed like head-to-toe in full neon clothing like true coolest look ever.
• Reader who’s like one of the mutants from “Legion” like Sydney: Physical touch can cause them to switch bodies like the kiss or even Lenny’s projection powers and whatever she does.
• Moon-knight! Reader
• Reader that’s like Alice (in wonderland): constantly floating away and dreaming of a better odd-er reality, maybe even takes [character] with them.
• It/Sad girl! Reader. Sad girl: I always envision this one while listening to specific songs like “Brooklyn Baby” or really any Lana song.. cries beautifully while smoking a cigarette, or even like the woman form Scarface. It girl (if you can even call it that?..): more like a quick-response woman, as in if you say something stupid she’ll never hesitate to let you know just how dumb that sounds. Constantly out-smarting the other and doing anything to see them fall. (So basically like Angelina Jolie in “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” is what I’m picturing.)
• Reader that can manipulate reality. I don’t know how to actually describe this one but there’s always a scene in my mind where the reader would be in danger and almost everything around them would change form: like the walls to squares that rotate that basically confuses the enemy but only they have the power to navigate this weird Rubik’s Cube looking room. Or maybe even Wanda in “WandaVision.” Just really crazy sh*t.
• Reader with Angel wings/is an Angel: Yeah this one’s pretty basic lmao, there’s a million and one angel!reader stories but still I think the thought of having giant Angel wings is just sick in general. Along with the thought of how truly gorey that must be, I mean protruding wings the size of a monster truck and plus? Is your spine okay Y/N..?
• Reader who’s like Angel Salvadore: If you know who Angel is this one is pretty self explanatory, however if you don’t Angel is a character that appears in “X-Men: First Class” with fairy-like wings. Basically like a butterfly’s, along with spit that’s extremely dangerous. Stay Clear!
• Devilman! Reader: Yeah so if you’ve been sticking around for a few short (?) months you’ll know this is an idea I had back when I actually finished DMCB. Just a fun little one to think on.
• Meister/Weapon! Reader: Soul eater? Really? I thought of this one at random but to see [character]’s reaction to either their Reader wielding a weapon that they could’ve sworn was just a person?.. Or the reader being that weapon is amusing to think about tbh.
• Just a really really badass grandma. This one I want to envision fezco’s grandmother from “Euphoria” I mean come on.. shooting someone in both knees while their naked below the hips is really badass to see, especially in her case. Seriously you guys, what’s not to like here!?
• Nanno-like! Reader: Nanno in her glory as we all know her, the bringer of bad luck and punishment. Maybe I’m the one out of the loop and this has been done maybe over 10 times but hey, what’s the harm in having some more? The reader does wrong to those who have committed it, pretty simple lol.
• Reader like Emma Frost: Who ISN’T in love with Emma’s fashion and attitude, I mean come on being so close to murder in an all-white outfit? That’s definitely badass. I’ve seen fics with a reader who can alter their skin as she does but it was just a fun thing to add because I just really love this idea.
• Let’s get straight to the point with this one because I have no idea how to describe it. Reader is basically a loyal woman/man/individual who will go extra lengths for their love, not in a yandere way but in a “my lover is an extremely dangerous individual but there’ll always be someone closer who’s even worse, and god help you if you cross their path if you’ve done something to agitate their s/o” way. Basically two lovely people in love who will and can slaughter anyone in their way for eachother. But we’re focused more on the femme-fatale energy Y/N’s putting out here.
• A reader who’s just as deranged as the girls from the purge: if we’re all going to be totally honest here, who wouldn’t want to murder people in adorable outfits and a blinged out car? (If you don’t then think of the circumstances while in the purge maybe it’ll help.) This idea came to me when I was reading a riddler fic, yk his whole murder on stream thing? Yeah maybe the reader could be like that too but they have the most energy that anyone can enjoy, what they’re complimenting people and are dresses really cutely who cares about the man screaming? With this reader though I almost ALWAYS imagine them having a little posse. I mean a group of gal pals (or just pals) to murder with while also looking like the girls in “California Girls”? Literally what’s there NOT to like!
• A reader who’s like “The Countess”: we all know Lady Gaga’s absolutely iconic role as The Countess in “American Horror Story”, and who wouldn’t love to output that kind of energy? It’s just a fun time for everyone isn’t it.
• A reader like Michiko Malandro! (A.K.A. The baddest): A reader who’s recklessness leads them and their sidekick on a journey of mystery and searching, how fun! Michiko’s all over the place attitude is just what some of these characters need, and why not be the one to give it to em! The reader would most def drag them around while they’re insanely confused. Who cares let’s get back on that bike and ride to another country!
Jesus if you’ve stuck around till here you must be ready to close your eyes , thanks for reading my random thought post of stuff I think I would like to read!

You Can't Save Them All Prologue
Tumblr media
Attack on Titan Modern Detective AU Hange Zoe x Fem! Reader Series Masterlist
Synopsis: Hange and the rest of the BAU take on the case of Y/n L/n, an international superstar who is being plagued with a relentless stalker.
Prologue
"I like when you get mad"
Hange Zoe scrambled into the conference room where her coworkers awaited her arrival. The entire Behavioral Analysis Unit has been chattering and gossiping about the latest case revolving around the international superstar Y/n L/n. Hange, knowing nothing about the woman, was absolutely clueless as to why everyone was making such a big fuss over things, but she figured she would be briefed for hours on this girl by the unit supervisor Erwin Smith, so there was no need to do any outside research just yet.
As Hange entered the room and took her seat, Erwin sent her a curt nod and began the meeting.
"I'm sure everyone is familiar with the case that we have been given so let's dive right into it. Y/n L/n, lead singer in the band 'Corruption at its Finest' has been dealing with a stalker recently. Unlike any ordinary case, this case is to be handled at top-level security because of the status of this celebrity which is why we were brought in instead of the local police force," Erwin begins.
Hange looks at the image on the projector and sees the h/c female who looks to be in her early twenties. As Hange looked through the folder with all of the images for facial recognition, she noticed a few things. The dark circles under her eyes that were poorly concealed, the lack of a smile in any of the pictures, and the cold dead look in her eyes. Just looking at the pictures sent a shiver down her spine.
What the hell happened to her that made her seem so lifeless?
"I can't believe I'm going to get a chance to meet her. I've been a fan of her since I was in middle school!" Armin Arlert, the technical analyst exchanged conversation with Historia Reiss, the communication and media liaison.
Historia smiled and nodded her head enthusiastically, obviously agreeing with Armin's statement.
Eren Yeager, a rookie field agent fresh out of training, rolled his eyes at the two.
"Are you guys seriously fangirling over her? She literally looks brain dead in most of these pictures. A drug addict if I've ever seen one. The only reason she isn't labeled as one is because of her status," Eren scoffed.
Hange listened carefully between the exchanged that the other agents had and realized she had no idea who this superstar was.
"I'm sorry but, I've never heard any of her music," Hange retorts sheepishly.
Armin and Historia's eyes widened at Hange's lack of knowledge of the superstar and Eren rolled his eyes yet again. Mikasa shot an apologetic smile to Hange as if she knew what was going to happen next.
"Come on four-eyes, you're telling me you've never heard of her? Even I have and I just switched to a smartphone from a blackberry a few months ago," Levi chides, making Hange laugh.
Armin and Historia rush over to Hange and Historia pulls out her phone.
"You have to listen to her songs! She's literally amazing. There's a reason she's been nominated for a Grammy every year since her debut in high school," Historia explains.
Hange looks at the contents on Historia's phone and sees a music video being pulled up.
"The goodbyes are getting old, Next time you can go ahead and go I'm tired of begging you to love me"
Hange notes the restraints on the young girl in the video and takes note of the minimal visual effects which adds to the eeriness of the song.
"Why do I cry to sleep? Goodness gracious I'm replaceable You say that I'm too crazy. I guess you were right I guess you were right"
"Well this girl is obviously facing some unresolved trauma. Maybe from a past relationship? We can start there. If her songs are a direct representation of her feelings, then there's evidence of obvious gaslighting and emotional manipulation. Whoever was the influence behind this song could possibly be our lead," Hange interjects when Historia pauses the video.
"That's a good connection Zoe," Erwin remarks.
"Well we have a lot of exes to sort through. She previously dated the bassist in her band Jean Kirstein, and there's an on and off platonic relationship with her best Ymir Fritz. Those are the most recent ones but they started dating after this song came out," Armin chided.
"I can't believe you guys are whipped for this woman and you haven't even met her," Eren scoffed.
Hange quirked an eyebrow at Eren's foul mood, but eventually brushed it off.
"Well I think it's very interesting and I think the better we understand how she became the girl we see in the pictures from today, the easier we can establish a connection between her and the stalker. It could be someone close to her," Hange retorts.
Levi gives Hange a knowing look.
"I understand you want to help her, but this is strictly for the case shitty glasses. Don't go getting attached to her with your hero complex. We don't have the time nor resources to save every overworked celebrity that develops a drug addiction," Levi says.
"I'm not trying to save her! I'm just interested," Hange defends.
Erwin notes the exchange between the two and nods his head, agreeing with Levi.
"Just remember Hange, this case comes first and personal feelings come after. You can't save them all, especially when they don't want to be saved," Erwin says.
Tumblr media
A/N I'm actually really excited for this fic! It's the shortest one so the chapters will be a lot longer than the rest. I can't wait for you guys to read the finished product!

Harry Potter Clown Takes—Part 4
Featuring more fandom myths, a Le Guin quote literally nobody asked for, Rowling’s ~surprising knowledge of what she has been literally writing, and fansplaining about how Actually, Dumbledore Being Gay is Homophobic If You Think About It.
“Marauders Mah Bbys!!!1!”
Tumblr media
If Rowling were so opposed to depicting non-blood related families, then she wouldn’t have made the blood relations so abusive and have Harry be unofficially adopted by non-blood family. As it is, it’s one of the main themes of the series, which focuses a lot more on non-blood friendships and relationships. Even Sirius doesn’t really count as a blood relation.
That said, to give OP due, it’s clear Rowling depicted the Marauder generation as an inferior version of the new, more enlightened generation, with key parallels already picked up by fans, who ironically tend to love the Marauders more than the books themselves. Sirius was a father figure, so regardless he’d get the axe, but Remus’ character very visibly deteriorated as the series went on (unsurprisingly, though. Remus’ internalized self-hatred was well-established early on). His and Sirius’ friendship was not strong at all, with Sirius still more emotionally invested in his friendship with James. But that is all part of the growing up—shedding your illusions and the tendency to hero-worship people.
Tumblr media
…So the other characters “bullied” Lupin into being with Tonks, eh?
“I’ve said all along you’re taking a ridiculous line on this, Remus,” said Mrs. Weasley over Fleur’s shoulder as she patted her on the back.
“I’m not being ridiculous,” said Lupin steadily. “Tonks deserves somebody young and whole.”
“But she wants you,” said Mr. Weasley, with a small smile. “And after all, Remus, young and whole men do not necessarily remain so.” (624).
Monsters!!!
(But seriously, if anything Clown OP is the one who is condescending and patronizing towards Lupin. Absolutely nobody forced Lupin to be with Tonks, let alone marry her; it was his decision. No part of his union with her can be said to be toxic at all.)
“Retcon!1!!1”
Tumblr media
Tom Riddle’s love potion-based sociopathy is a clear fandom myth. Rowling clearly stated that love potion conception was meant to be symbolic, not part of the HP universe, and that had Merope survived to raise her kid, Tom Riddle would have turned out quite normal. Or, well, capable of loving and knowing love, at least.
That said, to give OP’s due, there is a reason why this mythconception is so prevalent. Voldemort’s backstory is fascinating, no question—Rowling consistently shows her understanding of intergenerational poverty and the cycle of abuse. And yet despite the fact that his background alone would have been enough to drive him to seek power at all costs and corrupt him—loveless marriage, orphan, poor—Tom Riddle is very much sociopath-coded. It’s still better than the terrible Damien-from-The-Omen creep portrayal of the film version (at least the actor sold it well), but it does undermine the message of choice vs. abilities somewhat. It would have been just as psychologically true if Tom Riddle had been a driven, ruthless striver doing all he could to survive, and then to reach for power, charming and manipulating along the way. In his quest to immortality, he loses his humanity and thereafter descends into tyranny, abuse, and terrorism. There is definitely some hints of this in HP—compare the way Voldemort manipulates Slughorn with the way he manipulates Hepzibah Smith.
There is also the matter of a possible retcon. Voldemort states in CoS and GoF that his father left his mother when he found out she was a witch. In HBP we learn that his father was a love potion victim, and when Merope most likely stopped using the potion, his father left. Retcon or not? Occam’s Razor says Voldemort simply assumed it was his father at fault. But then there is the strange assertion: “He didn’t like magic, my father.” Is this another assumption, based on prejudice? Or did Voldemort, before he killed his father and grandparents, confront him directly? It’s possible Riddle Snr.’s trauma could have manifested as a hatred of magic, if he even realized himself that Merope was a genuine witch.
Tumblr media
Well, this is awkward. I feel the exact same way about Le Guin’s own writing: “The Ones Who Turn Away from Omelas,” her most anthologized short story, and the first Wizard of Earthsea book—y’know, the one Harry Potter was accused of plagiarizing at one point along with other. I found it cold, emotionally distant, overly abstract, morally and ethically indifferent, with no life and zero substance. There was nothing in it that did anything remotely special to the Hero’s Journey template—except make the hero a shade of brown. #representation
By contrast, a great deal of Rowling’s writing in HP is quietly deconstructive, writing against the Bildungsroman core of assimilating to the status quo. The tension between the Hero’s Journey storyline and Rowling’s own purposes is probably what made the series such an unprecedented success and why it does deserve to be called original. Rowling managed to keep the charm of the fantasy by imbuing it with a sense of social and material reality—and at the same critiquing the conservative values underpinning that fantasy. It was the literary embodiment having your cake and eating it too. I grant that Le Guin may have been critiquing the first few HP books—but as it is, this is straight up writer envy.
Tumblr media
“Surprising knowledge” lol, OP, you crack me up.
Occam’s Razor here, Rowling knew exactly what she was doing. Like Hermione’s distinctly white feminist activism, Slughorn’s middle-class soft bigotry is just one tiny but explicit example of the wizard’s overall dismissal of Muggles and Muggleborns, slowly built throughout the series. The revelation that Dumbledore himself once harbored anti-Muggle (or at least the liberal version of anti-Muggle sentiments) is the conclusion of that thematic arc. Rowling was writing a spectrum, not two poles. It is clear the Death Eaters are at the extreme end of the spectrum.
“Dumbledore Being Gay Is Actually Homophobic!!1!!”
Tumblr media
In what world does Clown OP live that says teachers should divulge their personal life and sexual/romantic partners to their students?????
This isn’t the 2020s where US teachers info-dump their personal life unto the students or students even want them to. This was the 90s where nobody gave a fuck. Teachers were there to teach and students to learn from them. Some teachers were really likeable and warm and wise and personable and everyone liked them—and you still didn’t know jack shit about their personal lives except very accidentally. Maybe that they were married or single at most. Because it just wasn’t relevant to the subject. I know, because I was there.
In HP we never come to learn the personal life of the majority of Hogwarts teachers, much less their sexuality. Because it’s simply not relevant. Dumbledore’s backstory with Grindelwald does become very relevant to the Deathly Hallows, and so does his relationship for Grindelwald.
Tumblr media
McGonagall got married once. She had an offscreen forbidden love affair with a Muggle and got all of (1) marriage proposal, which she turned down several times. None of that backstory was in the books proper, but in Pottermore. Harry had all of (1) kiss with Cho Chang and (1) on-page one with Ginny. Snape’s great love for Lily is revealed literally at the last quarter of the last book, the definition of last minute.
If anything, this series is priggish about sexuality and eroticism in general—this started, of course, as a series for middle school children. Where romance does occur, it’s almost always a fiasco, part of growing pains, and/or ends tragically for plot or character-related reasons: Harry/Cho, Cho/Cedric, Ron/Lavender, Hagrid/Maxime, Lupin/Tonks, James/Lily, unrequited Snape/Lily…if anything, you could conclude almost all straight couples in the HP world are doomed to fail or are tragically cut short, ha. Dumbledore/Grindelwald fits neatly into that general pattern.
Also. The fact that some people cannot accept Dumbledore’s offscreen forbidden gay romance as Word of God canon and yet easily accept McGonagall’s offscreen forbidden straight romance as Word of God canon is very telling to me. It’s almost like an aversion or something. You know, like a phobia.

Hello, I have a thing I like to do on my blog with some of my favorite characters where I make a playlist for them and then explain some of the songs I chose, and I was wondering if I could do a few with your OCs (Allison, Hendrick, Greyson, etc. I don't know their "group name") . If so, would you mind giving me as much information as you'd want on the characters? I managed to get some info from your posts on them, but not as much as I'd like. If not, that's perfectly fine as well.
I'M SO SORRY FOR NOT ANSWERING SOONER!! But of course you can!! Here's some more information on the main group of my ocs, but some of it just slips my mind so if you want to know anything specific feel free to ask because I'll be happy to answer! :D
Dominic Darthen: Cocky and selfish, a prince who is willing to do whatever it takes for ultimate power. Controlling towards the people who are close to him and likes things going to his set plans/specifications even if that means he has to emotionally manipulate people to get it. Is never seen smiling and takes things extremely seriously.
Greyson Slauter: Although outwardly intimidating (because of the way he kinda looms over people because he slouches along with the way he words things (my man is just bad at social ques no problem with that) he's really the most big brotherly. Think like billy hargrove but a lot less openly a dick asdfghjk He's often sleep deprived so has a more slowed down vibe (some people mistake him for being high).
Allison Cassitone: Sarcastic and a bit jaded from a rough childhood, has a conflicting relationship with religion and although she considers herself religious she's more about the suffering parts of it. The collective big sister and is there to give tough love as well as be the voice of reason (this feels like such an obscure reference but she acts like Ben from the Sacred Heart graphic novel??)
Alexander Issac Wholeheart: (Technically the way Alexander acts is because he's possessed but he's possessed by Galante for most of the content I draw him in so that's what you're getting asdfghj) Childish and carefree, positive in the way where it makes him seem unhinged, often acts extra kid like in order to get people to do things for him because he's pretty lazy XD Often feels like he has to keep his emotions down because he thinks his friends are dealing with things that are way worse.
Henrick Smith: Our favorite pushover!! Jk jk Henrick isn't necessarily a door mat he's just terrified of Dominic and if doing whatever he asks prevents him from being the victim of Dominic's abuse then he'll do it. He grew up pretty poor and considers himself lucky to have gotten a job as Dominic's servant, is a bit competitive and although submissive in nature would fight to keep his position as a servant. Often swallows his teeth and doesn't have any one close enough to vent to so he's a ticking time bomb.
Tess Hart: A commoner by blood and raised by a baker family, the nicest of the group and is just a very genuine person. Unfortunately very forgiving of Dominic's actions because she cares about him too much, and knows about his trauma so she never holds him accountable. Tries to be kind to everyone regardless of whether they seem (even though deep down she gets easily scared and is terrified of what Dominic became/is becoming).

hiiii, can i please request some levi ackerman headcannons where he has a badass girlfriend? she is shorter than him but she is literally so badass,, i see alot of stories with levi and a s/o who is really sweet and caring but never with someone who is cool, caring, badass, and can take care of herself,, thank you!!
Being Levi’s Badass Girlfriend would Include...
Tumblr media
Growing up with Levi in the underground, both of you taking care of each other for as long as you can remember
Being a few years younger than Levi, running into him after desparately looking for somewhere to hide from the men you stole bread from
Finding him nearly starved and deciding to sharing your food, becoming inseperable ever since
Levi squeezing your hand when you’re nervous
You singing to him when he’s stressed but too prideful to admit it
Learning knife skills from Kenny when he took the two of you under his wing, and getting frustrated that you seemed to lack the Ackerman natural talent
You compensating for it with your charming and, when you wanted, manipulative nature
Typically being underestimated for your smaller stature, but taking that as insentive to work twice as hard to prove people wrong
Reminding him that he wasn’t alone after Kenny abandoned you two
"We're going to get through this, Levi. We'll be okay, I promise."
"Stupid, I know that already."
Being one of the only people who could make Levi smile
Getting mugged quite often when you walked anywhere alone, to the point where Levi wouldn’t let you out at night without him
Becoming annoyed at this treatment and deciding to take up martial arts more seriously
Fighting people more than twice your size when needed, and coming out victoriously nearly every time
Living together, and having to follow Levi’s meticulous cleaning rules in whatever living space the two of you occupied
Always being less closed off to others than Levi, despite being calloused by your hardships all the same
Your teen years going by barely scraping enough money to survive,
You always trying to stay positive regardless
Taking over jobs and caring for Levi on the rare occassion he got injured or sick, with him doing the same for you
Occassionally finding yourself blushing when you first realized he had started gaining muscle
An overwhelming urge to scold him if he’s gone for too long, especially after taking on an extra dangerous gig
Realistically, just being worried for Levi’s safety or being afraid that he had left you
Being proven over and over again the latter was never an option
Him buying you small things on special occassions, like hair accessories or trinkets
Chastising him for wasting money when he did
"I told you! There’s no point to having this kind of stuff. You should've used the money for something we need."
"Do you like it?"
"...yes."
"Then shut up. Happy birthday, (Y/N)."
Smiling and treasuring each gift with your whole heart
Building a reputation alongside Levi as a notorious power duo, with people just assuming you two were together
You handling the connections and networking aspects of business deals with your superior social skills
Levi insisting on taking you with him when me moved in with Farlan, making excuses that you’d probably be all dirty and unorganized by yourself
"It's okay to just say you'd miss me, you know."
Being happy to add another person to your small family, and becoming fast friends with the dirty blonde
Laughing that Levi finally had someone else to pick on about their “unsatisfactory” cleaning habits
Being the one to negotiate for ODM gear, and learning how to use them suprisingly quickly
Sometimes flirting with men to get what you wanted, having learned how to use your feminity to your advantage as the years passed
That not always ending well
Having to save each others’ lives on multiple counts, some instances with you two just barely escaping
Holding Levi close on nights you nearly lost each other
Him wanting desperately to give you a better life
Viewing Isabel as the little sister you never had once you met, teaching her everything you’d come to know living in the underground as a fellow, smaller woman
Suprisingly, finding yourself having brief moments of contentment, despite the tough days
You being in on the deal to join the Survey Corps kill Erwin Smith in order to secure citizenship on the surface
Becoming emotional at the opportunity to go above ground, never thinking it was possible
Grabbing Levi’s hand excitedly after breathing fresh air for the first time, missing the way he smiled softly as you pointed at the hundreds of things you’d never seen before
"Look, Levi!! Real clouds! And is that how tall trees are supposed to be?"
The happiness not lasting long
You trying to stay strong for Levi after the death of Isabel and Farlan, knowing he believed it was all his fault
Still crying on days where no one was watching
Getting through the loss together, just like everything else
Staying in the military and silently vowing to always be there for Levi, knowing you’d go wherever he did
Taking a while to adjust without your friends
Trying to be thankful that life had less hungry nights and unsafe circumstances
You and Levi becoming squad leaders fairly quickly, having proven your skill and loyalty tenfold
Having a titan kill count that rivalled his (which you’d nonchallantly remind him of, once or twice)
Quickly gaining the respect of your team
Your fellow comrades realizing that your pretty face and short height yet kickass persona were the epitome of how “looks can be deceiving”
Not being afraid to put recruits with egos in their place
Levi keeping an extra eye on you during missions whenever he could, even though he knew you could hold your own
Sneaking into his room when the nightmares became too much
"Just... wipe your feet before coming in, (Y/N)."
Late nights in his office ensuing where he listens to you reminisce about the past
And it hitting you suddenly, a few years later, that you were in love with Levi Ackerman
The affection being triggered by the simplest of things: him brushing those raven bangs out of his eyes mid-conversation
Realizing you always felt this way, and you might have even realized it sooner if you both weren’t so busy trying to survive
Wondering for weeks if you should say something
Deciding he most likely didn’t feel the same way and pushing your feelings aside, falling back into the regular dynamic
You daydreaming about what a possible future together would look like
Levi kissing you for the first time before an expedition outside the walls,
Him wanting you to know how he felt in case it was your last night together
Confessing that you’ve loved him your whole life, and telling him you think it was always meant to be that way
Fiercely taking on each task the Titans threw at you, empowered by the fact that you had something to live for
Him becoming more protective than ever, which although frustrating at times, you found endearing
Drinking tea together on your breaks and stealing kisses across his desk
Levi Squad teasing their captain about his fondness for you, on days where they feel extra cheeky
Both of you planning to get married after the war
Just allowing yourself to be fully happy for the first time, basking in the fact that you get to spend the rest of your life with the man you adore
"I love you, Levi."
"I've only ever loved you."

The Signs’ Face Claims
I had this idea for a while: Personification of the signs. I always wanted to write a story that presents the signs as people, with the same features and personalities that the signs are said to have, living their lives, interacting with each other. Here are a few ideas for each character, if I get to the actual story, the characters will develop a lot of course. Please inbox me your feedback, if you would be interested in a story as such.
Here’s an idea for the face claims. (the actors’ actual sun signs don’t have anything to do with their roles):
Henry Cavill as Aries, the impulsive soldier.Strong-minded and brave, but a hot-head, which makes him dangerous in a fight. He often throws caution to the wind and goes straight to the point, which he may regret later. He lives for today, is initiative and ambitious, lacks certain gentleness, humility and sense of social act, hurts people without even intending to. He’s restless, vital and always looks for new challenges and adventures. Deep-set eyes and dark eyebrows give him the severe, serious but handsome look. He’s not into love, but does like sex. He rarely gets attached to people, only lives for war and winning battles.
Tumblr media
Zoë Kravitz as Taurus, the confident, self-sufficient, but sensitive girl. You can rely on her, she’s honest and respects good manners. Patient and cautious, she knows what she wants and won’t let anyone stop her. She keeps her feet firmly on the ground, doesn’t like to dream or wish, she strongly believes that if you want something enough, you have to go and get it. She’s practical and responsible, but easier to break than she’ll ever show. She loves strongly, and passionately, has a big, loving heart, but knows when to let go, she doesn’t put herself down for anyone. Her doe-like, big, brown eyes will make you trust her with your life. She is exactly who a woman should be, if you could say that, confident, strong, independent and intelligent.
Tumblr media
Tom Hiddleston as Gemini, the sweet and funny, blonde, curly-haired sunny-boy. He can seamlessly change everything, from style, ideas to work or partner. He is easy to adjust to significant changes. Surrounded by a little nervous energy, he is brilliant but sometimes emotionally unstable. Being bisexual, he likes to sleep around with different people, but doesn’t really mean to intentionally hurt anyone, he just expects other people to take life and relationships as easily as he does. He’s humorous, energetic and cheerful, but doesn’t let anyone see his sensitive side, that’s why his mysterious way seems very attractive.
Tumblr media
Andrew Garfield as Cancer, the typical sweet boy, who likes to play with fire and often gets burned. He can go from being in a great mood to suicidal thoughts in a second. His heart is easy to break and he doesn’t know how to get over it. Trying to bring an order to his chaotic feelings, he starts writing. For himself at first, but that’s how his talent as a writer gets discovered. It helps at first, but his vulnerable nature wants him to take revenge on those who hurt him, which starts to destroy him slowly.
Tumblr media
Madelaine Petsch as Leo, the Queen Bee in Louboutins. She likes expensive clothes, always looks flawless and knows it. She appears even more confident than she actually is. As a struggling actress, her life hasn’t been the easiest. Trusting and a little naive, she’s often been used and lied to. She likes to manipulate people, but sometimes ends up being manipulated herself. Trying hard to hide her generous, forgiving heart, she thinks that the key to success is heartlessness and diamonds. Her brutally honest personality gave her the name of a “bitch”, which she enjoys at times, it gives her a painful kind of satisfaction to be hated, but admired at the same time. Her long, red hair perfectly matches her ever-red lips and green eyes, that roll so often. She enjoys her naturally good looks and knows how to use it for her best.
Tumblr media
Jamie Chung as Virgo, the beautiful healer. She’s a doctor, she lives for helping people. But the sad truth is, she doesn’t always know how to help herself. Being a gorgeous, strong woman, she is full of insecurities, no one can understand. She is ready to sacrifice herself for others, even people she doesn’t know, because her own life doesn’t mean anything to her. Attentive, with great analytical skills, she seems to see everyone's personality through, she sees when somebody’s hurting, when somebody's lying, her eyes don’t miss out on anything. She loves to bring order into the chaotic life, and tries to make the world a better place by being considerate and organized. Being wealthy, she doesn’t like expensive and unnecessary luxuries. Taurus is her soulmate, but unfortunately, there are many struggles that come in their way. Their love is beautiful and innocent, but leaves them both heartbroken, more than once.
Tumblr media
Shay Mitchell as Libra, the girl next door. She has always been a girl who went by unnoticed. A wallflower kind of girl as they say. She never minds, she doesn’t like to show off, doens’t like to shine. Simple clothes and sneakers, ponytail and barely any make-up, that is her every day look. She has a soft personality and knows how to handle troubles, a diplomat, religious, fair, justice has always been important to her. People usually think that she is a depressed teenager, but that isn’t true, life is going as she wishes it to go. She doesn’t like to be pushed, pressured, she prefers to leave responsibility to others. Sometimes, she feels a little basic, that’s all. But the girl will find her place in this world very soon.
Tumblr media
Michael Ealy as Scorpio, the blue-eyed devil. Despite what people said, he isn’t all that bad. The often call him “the evil eye”, if your eyes meet, you always move first. He can kill you with a look, undress you with a look, send you to hell with only one look. He’s never easy, everything is important to him and he takes everything seriously. All around him is black or white, nothing in between. The only people he can call friends seem more like loyal servants. It feels like he never tells the truth, he’s mysterious to a fault and will never tell you his opinion about anything. Don’t do him wrong, he will never let you leave with it. He scars a lot of people. Not always intentionally, just by being himself.
Tumblr media
Will Smith as Sagittarius, the short-tempered cop. He’s charismatic and respectful, a real fighter for justice. Straightforward, he will shoot arrows, he can’t leave anything unspoken. If you’re in the wrong, he’ll make you crack. He does have strong relationships with people, but only the ones who deserve it in his opinion. Quite tolerant, he will accept a lot of your flaws, but never cross a line, he can cut you out of his life in a second. He’s living on the edge, taking risks, jumps into danger, whether it’s about work or love. Being short-tempered, he gets angry fast, screams, even gets physical, but calms down fast and often regrets it. He does have a good soul, but not many get to see it. Mostly, all they see is a man fighting for the good in any possible ways.
Tumblr media
Keanu Reeves as Capricorn, the lone wolf. He never really needed anyone. He was fine being alone. Growing up in an orphanage, he was used to it. Not knowing love, no one to care about. But still, he got through, fought for his degree, became a teacher, not even knowing what for. He doesn't really fall in love, he doesn't really get attached, he doesn't really need it. His good looks and seemingly cool nature attracts a lot of people, he’s interesting, mysterious behind closed doors. But no one really knows him, not even himself. At times, it feels like he's ready, to be a part of the world, to take care of people, but he struggles to believe that anyone would put up with him. He always was so ambitious, so determined, but he came to a point where nothing makes sense anymore. That's the moment he meets him. Better said, he reads his book. A book about retaliation.
Tumblr media
Margot Robbie as Aquarius, the sharp-tongued beauty. She grew through struggles and insecurities, which turned her into this perfect human being. She was abused, betrayed and had to fight to survive, just to become a brilliant thief. She’s a woman who gets what she wants, with her intelligence and incredible looks. She considers herself a visionary, she has her ambitions and desires, she’s close to the spiritual world and has a great imagination. Overly dramatic at times, she knows her worth, and knows others better than they know themselves. People bore her quite easily, she expects mystery and entertainment from others. Sexually passionate, she suffers from lack of permanent feelings. Her life has to be a never-ending adventure.
Tumblr media
Jared Leto as Pisces, the lost soul. He'a a musician, struggling with drugs and alcohol abuse. His curious and creative mind can't manage between his will to get inspiration and his addictions. He always needs more, whether it's whiskey, love or music, he can never stop. At times, it feels like he's at the end, that he can't do it anymore, but only one shot, and he's back, writing, singing, playing guitar. He falls in love with creative souls like himself, struggling, even dying. For him, it's always over. Every day, can be his last and all he does is singing, dreaming, he always took the path of least resistance.

who am i?
also what am i? i think im going through an identity crisis, dont know what kind of identity crisis im going throgh yet, but when i figure it out ill update!
just drank a cup of tea which means ill go to sleep soon. i know im going to look back on this blog and cringe more than ive ever cringed before (just the word cringe makes me feel weird) but while i got to live my weird days of being a baby gay on tumblr and just liking posts i never really got to that stage of blogging and ive always found it fascinating that you can just put words out on the internet and people can read them.
i believe that ive grown out of my “need to write perfectly to be taken seriously” phase so i really just dont care anymore about what i write incorectly. so just deal with it.
lately ive been listening to the smiths more and more, as the matter of fact im listening to them right now and maybe that makesme a hypocrite because i told this guy that its weird hes listening to the smiths since hes a man, but im not a man so its okay right? i feel like as a person whos lived their whole life beng treated as a woman (gender wise i identify as gender fluid)  i get to say that a man listening to the smiths is weird and male manipulator-ish.
i already know my other blogs probably arent gonna be as long as this one but i just felt like blogging about my life so i can keep a more public diary because i feel likea diary doesnt really help me mentally, it never really has to be honest, i just need assurance that theres at least one person out there who might read that. with a diary i know no one wil ever read it (except maybe my mom when she snoops around in my room) and i know no one will ever know what i feel, yk?
anyway i decided that whenever ill talk about people here i obviously wont be using their real names because i really do want to stay anonymous. maybe one day when i grow closer to someone and meet someone whos company ill never get bored of, ill show them this. who knows.
im really tired right now because of the tea. im like an old woman, i swear.
anyway, goodnight <3

A/N: English is not my first language. I don’t own The Punisher and Legacies characters; they’re, respectively, Stan Lee and Marvel Studios, L. J. Smith and Julie Plec. Also, this is my Billy and some The Punisher events will be changed due to the story's course!
word count: 2243
warnings: minor character death (flashback)
────────── ★ ★ ★ ──────────
"Trust isn't a word on Tissaia's vocabulary", I say to Billy. "She doesn't trust the bank or any ally."
"That's a safety measure", Billy waves his hand while walking to the counter to pour himself another drink. I'm not a whiskey fan, but I have to admit that I need some alcohol to talk. When the subject is my parents, the Mikaelsons must be included, even when I don't want to. And if Billy finds my explanation too shallow, he'll probably torture me.
"But her safety measure is insane." And stupid. "When you have allies, you have to build a bond with them, trust them enough to intertwine your business. Wanting or not, you'll have to sacrifice something."
"I know, love. Money is always the easiest way."
I nod. "People tend to associate money to power. However, trust is the lead to power. Trust is everything."
"'Cause it needs loyal partners to conquer. Or to stay in power."
"Yes", I pause, trying to do a comparison. "What would be of Arthur without Lancelot?"
"Alive." Seriously? "You know I'm not wrong, sweetheart."
Billy's looking at me with that damn smirk behind the whiskey glass. I almost take a deep breath. Almost. "Lancelot was loyal... in his own way."
"Yeah, like fucking his king's wife and causing a war is loyalty."
I huff in anger. He really knows the true story. Usually, people think the original version is actually the most famous adaptation: the knight and the king were best friends, and when Arthur went insane when Gwynevere passed away, Lancelot died to protect him on the war provoked by Morgana.
"Ok. Then, what would be of Sherlock without Watson?"
"Now you got the right example, love", Billy winks at me, and I roll my eyes. He really knows how to piss me off.
"What I'm trying to say is that Tissaia is an amateur. If she really was something, she'd be trusting her allies and seeking respect and fear instead of money."
"She's famous by her manipulations and robberies, isn't that enough?"
I scoff. That bitch just thinks she is manipulative. She doesn't deep spy on her target or try to slow build a bound to then betray them. She usually just appears out of nowhere with a cute smile and good actions until she finds what she wants. You see, my biological breeders mistake real manipulation to falsity. They're not like my family, and certainly — thank God —, I'm nothing like them.
"Of course not. She kills innocent, real innocent people", I look deep at Billy's eyes for him to know I'm not kidding. "They break families, and not just financially. Tissaia usually persuades the pure hearts to shelter her, while Andrew seeks the wealth during their stay. Me and my sisters used to be the distraction. One morning, the family wakes up with nothing", I sigh. "You must know what people do to survive, how love is really put on the table."
"Have you ever seen them after everything? The families."
I nod. "I used to sneak around a lot. When I was 7, I met a man at an alley. He was my family's latest victim. Old, scrawny, sick... His wife abandoned him and became a whore, and him... waited for death."
"What was it?"
"Tuberculosis. He was doing treatment when he sheltered my family."
I don’t tell Billy that this is a half lie. I actually met the man when I was curled up in a box trying to get warm and sleep. But my attempt was interrupted by an endless cough; and there was the old sick man. He remembered me, saying I was the shy kid that talk so little that he and his wife had thought for a moment I was mute until I had asked to help her with the dishes. But what impressed me in that night was that the man didn’t harm me at all. Actually, after a long talk, he sang a song for me to sleep.
When I woke up, he was dead, with a blood flow coming out of his mouth due to his illness. I’ve never learnt his name, but I wish I had to honor such a pure golden heart… His death grew my hate of my family.
A long and tense silence reign over me and Billy for a few minutes, when suddenly I come back to myself. He’s flavoring his expensive whiskey when I look again at him, just to notice that he was glancing me this whole time, waiting for me to talk. There are no pressure nor judgement in those dark eyes of his, just... understanding?
"That's why people don't like them. They break the few pure hearts in this world, they fuck with their lives, Billy."
He rests his glass in his left hand. "Is all dirt money, then. So dirt that even criminals are disgusted."
"She doesn't use credit card because of that. They could track and kill her."
"Who are their enemies?"
I scoff. "Got a hunch of my suggestion for you?"
"Maybe, sweetheart." He knows. Allie with their enemies before going after them.
"Ok", I sigh and stretch my neck. "Canadians, Irishes and Norwegians... A few British, a lot of Brazilians, allies of the American Russian mafia like Balakin and Novikov... Soliel Alvarez... New Orleans."
"Entire New Orleans?"
"What? You really thought my father would've allowed his little girl's awful parents in his town?"
Another minute of silence. I can practically hear the gears working on Billy's brain to form a plan. He's moved to his office's double height, staring at the transparent glass and probably incentivating his employees to work more with this angry boss face on. Classic.
“How are you adopted and Rina and Katri aren’t?”
"They didn't want me, so I found dad, and he found me. End of the story."
He doesn't insist, which I thank in silence. Even almost 10 years, I still can't get over the argues between me and my parents, the guilt and critics I had to take every single day before that night. The night where my own mother battered me and no one — not even my father or sisters — did anything to stop it.
I went through that door and never came back, living up to my promise to not tolerate that — and any other — toxic environment anymore. But I sneaked into the police station to see if my family have searched for me, hope fading every time I found out they hadn't.
I can still remember the helplessness of being totally alone, the coldness of London streets, the disgusting smells on the alleys I slept, the sensation of being a nothing as the only clothe I had was fading away by the dirt, the judging and pitifull glares... If it wasn't for Elijah, I'd be dead for a long time ago.
I'd never been in one, I said when he brought me to his hotel room.
What? He frowned in curiosity. In a hotel room?
In a bedroom.
He sighed. Where did you sleep in your house, Katherine?
On the couch. The bedroom's for Rina and Katri. They're the oldest and were the planned ones.
Planned ones?
They didn't see me in mom's belly.
My vision begin to blurr with the memory, and closing my eyes, a silent tear runs down my face. In a hurry, I wipe it away, hoping Billy didn't see it. Even dead my father is my fatal weakness, and I think he'll always be.
"Are you familiar with their enemies?" Billy asks. "Those you said."
"The Norwegians, New Orleans and Soliel. I have an old story with Kage Novikov too."
"So you know them."
I shrug, trying my best to appear relaxed to him. "You can say that."
"Do you have their number? Any of the enemies."
"No, but I always can count with Soliel at Amsterdam."
He turns to me with a raised brow. "The city of weed."
"Tequila is her speciality", I wink, knowing he'll get the hint of the baptized tequila. "But and you, Russo? Do you know any of those enemies? Or are you just asking my acquaintances to make more allies?"
He scoffs. "I don't need more."
"Oh, yeah? What do you have, then?"
He smiles in the smug way that makes rage fill my whole body. I swear he's the most confident man I've ever met. "Aside the whole USA? Let's see what do I have... Some of the Irish, a little bit of Serbia... Russia."
I almost choke in my own saliva, not caring for his smirk as he walks towards me. Sure, I know — and worked for — some entire mafias too, like the Italian and the Norwegian, but the Russian and its fellows is almost impossible to know it all. "Entire?"
"Entire."
"How?"
"I was at the Marine, forgot it?" Billy's now in front of me, and he kneels to talk face to face. "So here's what's gonna happen: I have a weapon deliver next month in London, and you're coming with me. Then, we'll go to Amsterdam and negociate with her." My expression must've made a silent question, because he answers after a minute: "I'm not gonna use the Russian mafia to seek my ex, Katherine. This is fooliness."
I shrug. "Never said you would."
"But your face did", he sighs. "I'm not an idiot to debt myself because of this."
"Ok... And the dossier?"
"We'll work on it. And that's why will just seek your friend next month. Our proposal must be undeniable."
"You want me to tell you all I know about everything and everyone then."
He smirks, putting the empty cup on the table. "Good to know you're still clever after your fast."
I clench my jaw in anger, missing the cuffs clicking. I'm almost seeing red, and now I seek Billy's neck to choke him just to be stopped by my own hands. When I look down, I notice that the handcuffs sound were Billy taking advantage of my fury to unchain me from the chair and lock up my other wrist.
He takes all of my senses away, taking advantage of all my emotions and distractions. It's like I'm just an inexperienced girl again. An amateur.
I hate him. I hate him so much.
"C'mon", he pulls the chains to stand me up, and grabs my waist in precaution, probably. Billy still thinks I'll try to run away, but little does he know that I don't have anywhere to go, or anyone waiting for me, wanting to be with me.
The road back to his penthouse is silent, and when we're there, he pulls me on the soft black couch like I was a toy. "Dom and Dante will take care of you", Billy signals to the huge and broad men. Both are with suits and have brown hair and golden tanned skin. They must be brothers. "You remember Dom, right? You stabbed his foot." He points at the one with hair to the shoulders and a death glare at me.
"It was self defense. Nothing personal."
"Go fuck yourself", he says, and his brother smirk.
Billy gives us a mocking laugh and approaches me. "What will you do?" I ask.
"To you? Nothing... for now. To your family? I'm not suicidal. But to your biological ones? Hell."
"Will you kill them? Torture them?"
"No, sweetheart. Death is far too good for them. They deserve to live in misery, don't you think?" I stay silent for no reason. Maybe is because Billy's with such a powerful and stern posture that makes me understand why people are usually afraid of him, why they don't want to challenge the Anvil CEO. He lifts my chin with his long calloused fingers, and murmur on my ear to not be heard. "Do you know what I'll do, Mikaelson?”
"What?" I whisper back.
"I will bankrupt them. They'll go broken."
I look at him with widened eyes. This a terrific idea and I'm crazy to see the Morris' suffering, but I didn't see that coming from him. I thought he was crazy in love with Rina. Is Billy the serious jerk kind of man? The dark one that makes their "loved ones'" lives hell when they betray him?
"Where are you going?"
"None of your business!" He screams back, slamming the door.
Now, alone with 2 guards — the brothers Dom and Dante —, I look down just to see the chains are still on my wrists. Stress fill my veins more than the usual, and I take deep breaths to try to calm myself down. Minutes passed and the breathing exercises — even with closed eyes — and good thoughts fail, so I start to look around to seek for a distraction. It's night in Manhattan, the building's lights seeming stars on the sky when viewed from the penthouse, which is really clean. There're no mess on the kitchen island or the counter of the huge opened living room. Billy must pay someone to clean it all for him.

A Comparison of RTD and Steven Moffat: Saving The Day
So for this analysis I’m going to compare when Moffat and RTD save the day well and when they save it poorly. There are a few bits of criteria I need to explain.
First I will only be including main series, no Torchwood, no spin-offs, and no mini episodes.
Second, I have to define what makes a good and a bad ending (my examples will come from episodes written by neither of them):
Bad endings include when the sonic saves the day (see The Power Of Three) (there are exceptions, see below), when a character spouts some useless technobabble that doesn’t make any scientific sense/when it doesn’t make logical sense in general, when the Doctor invents/presents a machine/equipment that miraculously stops the baddy and is never referred to again (see Journey To The Centre Of The TARDIS), and any other ending I deem to be bad (see The Vampires of Venice)
Good endings include when the sonice activates a device that has been well established to save the day, when technobabble is used that actually makes some scientific sense, and just generally when the baddy is destroyed in what I deem to be a creative manner that makes sense with all the things that had been set up in that episode (see The Unquiet Dead).
There will also be cases where there isn’t really a day to be saved, however this happens more often with Moffat.
Let us begin (obviously there will be spoilers but the last episode in the list aired nearly 4 years ago so what you doing with your life).
RTD:
Rose: Bad
What even is anti-plastic?! Like seriously, he’s faced the Autons loads of times and has never thought to use it any other time.
The End Of The World: Bad
The Doctor just goes up to the appearance of the repeated meme (ha meme) and rips its arm off. He then just summons Cassandra back by twisting a knob which apparently everyone can do if “you’re very clever like me”.
Aliens Of London/World War Three: Good
Just nuking them all was a bit dodgy but I’ll give it to him purely because it had been set up earlier in the episode and it is a genuine option that could have been taken.
The Long Game: Good
The heating issue was set up within 2 minutes of the episode starting. It’s always good to see the Doctor using his enemies weakness against them.
Boom Town: Good
Only just. It’s technology that hadn’t been showcased ever before and came out of nowhere, but I’m allowing purely because it was setting up The Parting Of The Ways.
Bad Wolf/The Parting Of The Ways: Good
See above. It was set up the story before so it works.
The Christmas Invasion: Bad
This was so close to being good. If RTD had just let the Sycorax leader be honourable then everything would have been fine. Instead he had to let him be dishonourable and then the Doctor through the Satsuma at a random button that for no apparent reason caused a bit of floor to fall away.
New Earth: Bad
It only makes sense if you think about it for less than 10 seconds as just pouring every cure to every disease ever into a giant tub and then spraying said supercure onto them all, then having them hug each other to pass it on. That is suspending my disbelief just a bit too far.
Tooth And Claw: Good
Everything is set up in the episode so I’ll allow it but I fail to see how Prince Albert had the time to ensure that the diamond was cut perfectly.
Love And Monsters: Bad
It’s Love And Monsters. Need I say more?
Army of Ghosts/Doomsday: Good
It was very clearly set up throughout the episode.
The Runaway Bride: Bad
I don’t like how a few bombs can supposedly drain the entire Thames.
Smith And Jones: Good
All the events were well established
Gridlock: Good
It’s a fairly bland way to save the day, just opening the surface to all the drivers. But how else could he have done it?
Utopia/The Sound Of Drums/Last Of The Time Lords: Bad
As much as I like the idea that he tuned himself into the archangel network, he basically turned into Jesus. It is arguably the least convincing ending in modern Doctor Who history.
Voyage Of The Damned: Bad
Why was he the next highest authority? If he’s the highest authority in the universe why didn’t they default to him in the first place? If not then why not default to Midshipman Frame? And if he’s somehow in between them then why? Also Astrid killed herself for no reason when she easily could have jumped out of the forklift.
Partners In Crime: Good
It works in the context of the episode, but I don’t see why they needed two of the necklace things.
Midnight: Good
It’s human nature, you can’t get more well set up than that.
Turn Left: Good
It works logically
The Stolen Earth/Journey’s End: Bad
Donna just spouts a load of technobabble whilst pressing buttons and then the Daleks are magically incapacitated.
The Next Doctor: Bad
Why do the infostamps sever Hartigan’s connection with the Cyberking? As far as I remember it ain’t explained.
Planet Of The Dead (co-written with noted transphobe Gareth Roberts): Good
A good couple scenes are dedicated on getting the anti-gravs set up.
The Waters Of Mars (co-written with Phil Ford): N/A
The day isn’t really saved cause everyone still dies anyway.
The End Of Time: Good
Using a gun to destroy a machine is much better than using the sonic to destroy it.
Summary for RTD:
Out of 24 stories written by him, I deem 10 to be bad endings with 1 abstaining. That’s 41.7% of his episodes (43.5% if we don’t count any abstaining).
Steven Moffat:
The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances: Good
You’ll see this a lot with Moffat, he knows how to explain things without stupefying levels of technobabble. “Emailing the upgrade” is a perfect example of this.
The Girl In The Fireplace: Good
Some basic logic, the androids want to repair their ship, but they can’t return to it, they no longer have a function so they shut down.
Blink: Good
Always loved this one, getting the angels to look at each other, however they do look at each other sometimes earlier in the episode.
Silence In The Library/Forest Of The Dead: Bad
This is more of a problem with the setup of the episode, I don’t like that he can negotiate with the Vashta Nerada. I’d rather see them comprehensively beaten, but I guess it’s good for the scare factor that they can’t be escaped from.
The Eleventh Hour: Good
He convinced the best scientists all around the world to set every clock to 0 all in less than an hour. In the Doctor’s own words “Who da man!”
The Beast Below: Good
The crying child motif pretty much ended up saving the day (well for the star whale, life went on as normal for pretty much everyone else).
The Time Of Angels/Flesh And Stone: Good
The artificial gravity had briefly been set up earlier so I’ll allow it.
The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang: Good
Everything had been set up perfectly, the vortex manipulator, the Pandorica’s survival field thingy, the TARDIS exploding at every moment in history.
A Christmas Carol: Good
Literally the entire episode is the Doctor saving the day by convincing Kazran not to be a cock.
The Impossible Astronaut/Day Of The Moon: Good
The silence’s ability to influence people is their whole thing, so using it against them is a good Doctory thing to do.
A Good Man Goes To War: N/A
The day isn’t really saved, Melody is lost, but River shows up at the end so is all fine? I love the episode it’s just the day isn’t really truly saved (yes I know Amy was rescued but she still lost her baby).
Let’s Kill Hitler: N/A
There isn’t really a day to be saved. They all get out alive but no one is really saved other than maybe River but we all knew she was gonna live anyway.
The Wedding Of River Song: Good
Whilst opinion is divided on the episode, the ending still works. the Tesseracta was established in Let’s Kill Hitler, and the “touch River and time will move again” was established well in advance.
The Doctor, The Widow And The Wardrobe: Bad
I don’t like how the lifeboat travels through the time vortex for no reason but to rescue the dad. It don’t make no sense and I don’t think it’s explained
Asylum Of The Daleks: Good
Oswin had access to the Dalek hive mind so of course she should be able to link into the controls and blow everything up.
The Angels Take Manhattan: Good
Paradoxes really do be something powerful, and they even acknowledge how nobody knows if it’d work so I’ll let it slide.
The Snowmen: Bad
Lots of people cry at Christmas, why are the Latimers anything special?
The Bells of Saint John: Good
The whole episode is about hacking so why shouldn’t the Doctor be able to hack the spoonheads
The Name Of The Doctor: Good
It was the story arc for the season pretty much, so of course it was explained well in advance.
The Day Of The Doctor: Good
Both the storing Gallifrey like a painting and the making everyone forget if they’re Human or Zygon works in the context of the episode.
The Time Of The Doctor: Bad
Since when were the Time Lords so easily negotiated with?
Deep Breath: Good
I like the dilemma over whether the half-face man was pushed or jumped.
Into The Dalek: Good
It’s set up well with this new Doctor’s persona of actually not being too nice of a guy (at first).
Listen: N/A
There isn’t a day to be saved. It’s just 45 minutes of the Doctor testing a hypothesis and I low-key love it.
Time Heist (co-written with Steven Thompson): Good
It works logically so I’ll allow it however it isn’t very well set up at all.
The Caretaker (co-written with noted shithead Gareth Roberts): Good
The machine to tell the Blitzer what to do was set up well in advance so I’ll allow it.
Dark Water/Death In Heaven: Good
The fact that Danny still cares even as a cyberman is set up fairly early on after his transformation.
Last Christmas: Good
He does use the sonic to wake up Clara but he convinces the others to wake up through talking so I’ll allow it.
The Magician’s Apprentice/The Witch’s Familiar: Good
It’s set up well with that little scene from actually inside the sewers.
The Girl Who Died (co-written with Jamie Mathieson): Good
IDK why the vikings would randomly keep electric eels but they’re set up well so I’ll ignore it.
The Zygon Inversion (co-written with Peter Harness): N/A
Not including this one as it’s only the second part and I’d argue the ending is most likely Harness’.
Heaven Sent/Hell Bent: N/A
Again there isn’t really a day to be saved, yes Heaven Sent really is amazing but it’s only the first part and, being completely honest, he dies several billion times before finally getting through the wall.
The Husbands Of River Song: N/A
Again there isn’t really a day to be saved here.
The Return Of Doctor Mysterio: Good
He gets Grant to catch the bomb which is good. But he does just sonic the gun out of Dr Sim’s hand and says UNIT is on its way which just sort of wraps it up very quickly.
The Pilot: N/A
No day to be saved here.
Extremis: Good
You could technically call it the sonic saving the day, I consider it to be the Doctor emailing the Doctor to warn him of the future.
The Pyramid At The End Of The World: Good
The fire sanitising everything makes sense and it’s in character for Bill to love the Doctor enough to cure his blindness in return for the world
World Enough And Time/The Doctor Falls: Good
Yes it is the sonic just blowing the cybermen up, but it’s blowing them up with well established pipelines so I’ll allow it (also the story is amazing).
Twice Upon A Time: N/A
No day to be saved here. Just Doctors 1 and 12 getting angsty about regenerating.
Summary for Steven Moffat:
Out of 39 stories written by him, I deemed 4 to be bad with 7 abstaining. That’s 10.3% of his episodes (12.5% if we don’t count any abstaining).
Conclusions:
Moffat was much better at saving the day than RTD
Moffat liked telling stories where the day didn’t actually need to be saved
I’ve spent way too long on this and I need to sleep
If I spent as much time on this as my coursework I’d probably pass
If you’re still reading this, you probably need to get a life
