Pixel Blue: 3DS VIRTUAL CONSOLE (2016) by @calybunz ! ahhh this was such a cool one to read! id see updates on it incidentally n i can tell a lot of work went into it- it was definitely worth it! its well written with a lot of heart.. maybe im just a sucker for stories that focus on a sympathetic blue.. the ending made me so SAD dude what the fuck. though my favorite parts were probably the dream sequences- godd the imagery of it all was fantastic!

Glitchy Red: Retold by @lycankeyy / @glitchyred (idk which blog youd rather have tagged sorry). so i saw this when the official ao3 repost went up or got mentioned or something and it. really. resonated with me. like its hard to put my thoughts into coherent words, other than i had to just. Lay Down for the rest of the night after reading it and just feel whatever emotions struck me. it cut really deep but honestly- that's just fantastic. it's not often that i read something that makes me feel as viscerally as this rewrite did, and i have nothing but adoration for it because of that (we do have the plural bias which doesnt help regarding this lol). in my mind this is the definitive version of glitchy red.

Hey there lovelies. Been a bit of a time huh? So much has happened in just a weeks time... David Lynch passed, The Gaza Ceasefire was announced, the inauguration in the US happened (I'm about a week late on this edition which is why there's a time discrepancy.

It has been a complete shit show everywhere, and I've seen a lot of different emotions bouncing around. First and foremost, grief, sadness, fear, but also hope, and perseverance.

Whatever big feels you're feeling right now, please know that they are so incredibly valid. This shit is hard to live through, so take a break, cope how you need to cope okay? You take care of you, and let us know if we can help somehow. I wanted to share this here because I wrote this the other day as kind of a love note that couldn't wait for a recap, and a way for me to express myself with all the muddled feelings I was experiencing, it's about community and your individual impact. I sat in the cold dark basement shivering. I had been stripped and beaten for days now and I felt like there would be no end. Cuts and bruises formed along my arms and legs where he gripped me violently to continue his torment.

I took a shuttering breath and tried to center my breathing again. I stupidly recalled a commercial I had seen for some relaxation app that had breathing classes and the one they displayed in the ads was helping me relax a bit . I laughed weakly to myself wondering if I should download it if I get out of here ...I was becoming delirious. My thoughts wondered to Spencer , my dear friend and coworker who I had the biggest crush on. I wondered if he was fighting for me . Huddled over the evidence, eyes scanning for clues as his brain worked overtime to find something, anything . I hoped with all my heart he was doing okay. I was sure flashbacks of his own kidnapping were probably keeping him awake at night , wondering if I was getting even half the torment he got... or more.

The door creaked open and I didn't move from my crumpled form on the ground, it was pointless and I knew if I fought against him he'd make the pain worse. " ohhhh my dearest pet" he hummed patronizingly " you are all tuckered out" I had a few choice words for him that I bit back . " its time once again for my experiments " he cooed and yanked the chain holding my arms behind my back. He hauled me to the same place on the wall as always , my legs barely able to hold me up. I pressed against the wall and tears already were dripping down my face. " now today I have an interesting theory" he said casually " I want to try and peek a layer of skin off" I went dizzy for a second at even the notion of a blade sliding against my skin like a potato peeler. " enough of that " he snapped and pressed a button linked with the shock collar around my neck. I yelped in pain as he sighed " now back to business " he said walking over with a knife . At that moment Spencer burst through the door gun out stretched and a haunted look on his face as his eyes met mine. " FBI DROP IT" he yelled . Shocked my capture didn't drop it and instead held the knife dangerously close to my throat . " drop it" Spencer said again steadily but I could hear his rising panic in his voice. My legs were shaking and I felt a prick from the knife leaving a trail of blood spilling down the same clothes I had been wearing the day of my abduction, the same ones he kept me in day after day as if mocking my old life pre capture.

Spencer closed his eyes and let out a slow breath " let em go alright? We can work this out" the Unsub shook his head emphatically , he was starting to get riled up too," no because I've bested you , all of you in the FBI! I've taken one of your own and now you will watch as they die" he rose his hand to stab me and that was all he needed to do for Spencer to shoot his hand holding the knife . The Unsub screamed in pain as the other agents subdued him.

Spencer rushed over to me immediately wrangling with the shock collar and chains to free me " are you okay , of course you're not what am I saying" Spencer stuttered I could tell he was holding back tears. I took a shuddering breath as the chains fell and instantly wrapped my arms around him sobbing into his chest. He squeezed me tightly " I thought I lost you ...I couldn't lose you." He rubbed my back and burrowed his face in the crook of my neck . This was the most pain I had been in but being so close to Spencer felt so good I ignored it. " guys the ambulance is here " Derek informed softly . I could feel Spencer jump a bit as if he thought we were alone . He quickly nodded his head and helped me up , offing to carry me to the ambulance but I declined. There was some power in physically walking out of this fucking nightmare, and I needed that. Though the second I was outside them put me on a stretcher and rushed me off to the hospital.

Days of being half conscious in the hospital had come and gone like fleeting memories and soon I was home. Spencer and Garcia had loaded me up with all the snacks and things I could ever need to recover and I was grateful but, there was still one thing I needed. " Spencer " I called before he left. I saw Garcia have a light smirk in her face as she quickly left. " what is it do you need anything else before I go" he asked his eyes wide with concern. I shook my head " no... it's just... when you're in a position... like I was .. you get a lot of time to think, and for me , all I could think of was the fact I may never see you again ." I saw his pupils dilate as I said this , " really...me?.. why?" I sighed and grabbed his hand gently and looked up at him again " Spencer I love you, I've been in love with you for a long time now. I love the way you talk, your humor, how smart you are and most of all , that big heart of yours. Any time I'm sad or upset or just lonely I know I can call you and you'll be there. You're my best friend and I'd love ...I'd love for us to be more" his mouth slacked open and he quickly nodded " i honestly never thought you'd say that to me, ever , I love you... so much" he wrapped his arms around me so gently knowing how much pain I was in. " you know I can stay here for a day or two... to help you out and all that" he whispered gently . I felt my smile grow wider," that would be incredible "

Hey hi hello!

I have some things to say about new merch and jo merch in general so this is gonna be a litrle longer post and actually I think I should cange my semiotics theme (which is already about jo) about how bad their merch design is.

First of all little disclaimer: this is all my humble opionion based on what I learned in my one year of being graphic design student and an artist and designer on the internet for last 4-5 years. Before going to uni I learned most of about art and graphic design stuff by reading books and watching tons of yt videos. Second of all this critic is just coming from place of love for this band because I see so mucb potential and they could do some amazing merch designs if they give it a chance and I am fully aware how expensive the touring is and why they had to cut the quality of merch products.

So far my favorite jo band merch designs are cds (that probably required some designer to make), condoms (because they are really funny, genius, nicely designed and unique merch that fit the vibe of the band and matches their songs as well) and the new tshirt from last merch drop (which design is made by one slovenian fanartist : link.

Main reason that made me want to speak up is seeing that this merch drop will only have 100 products (my friend said that could mean 20-ish shirts per size) which how big this fandom has gotten in last year is pretty really dam limited. For a limited product I am really disappointed and I hoped for more. For such a limited product that design is the most default design they could have gone for and I am so sorry for Damon because his work is goregous, amazing, breathtaking and I could talk about it for ages and how inspiring it is but this shirt design isn't serving.

If they wanted to do bare minimum of design with those 5 images here is some of my ideas (unfortunately I don't have time to visually show them to yall on a mock ups because of finals that I should be studying for instead of writing this so try to imagine what I am trying to say and demonstrate). First is just simple instead of white choose black shirt or even better a thisrt. If you want it to go a stepp further is using their name logo font (font name is Avaline btw if anyone wants to download and use it for their designs :))) and either put it how they did when they promoted the everybody's waiting or to write idk therapy sessions or anything related to the band or it can even be some inside joke.

Something like this would make design just a bit more intersting but still bare minimum but amazing for regular merch. If they want to go a step further but want to keep the long sleeves (this idea was suggested by few people I talked too) they could put pictures vertically on the sleeves. I would find it a bit cooler if it is on the right sleeve out-side and then they put their band logo (the heart one) on the left side of the shirt where people's hearts normally are.

After exams I would definitely like to try to make some designs and just limit myself with this 5 pictures and play with typography and photoshoop to make something interesting.

Another I want to mentioned is how in my humble opinion if you are gonna sell limited edition either make it really pretty or good quality or really cursed and funny with inside jokes.

I think people (and me first) would eat tshirts (but also other merch designs) with some cursed designs or just texts that say "sparklative" or "slay pose" or "I feel SloveNACE" (this 3 were suggested by amazing people in tumblr discord server) or even let Jan photoshoop their faces on most random picture. This 5 guys with their gen z humour could make and do some hilarious merch like how amazing idea the condoms are.

Last thing I want to say is how many amazingly talented fans are. I mean even Damon was so shocked and moved by amount of talent and art made in this community. Furthermore I know (some of them as online friends and mutuals, others as just artists from same fandom) who are also either graphic design students or they work in art/graphic design/entertainment fields and some of them (including myself) would be so happy to even make few merch designs or art for them for freee or for a ticket for their show. Personally I would die from happiness if I get a chance to work with my favorite band that inspires me so much everyday to the point people at my uni think I am from Slovenia and know slovenian because of how much I include them in my uni work and how much fanart and designs I made because of them in last 6 months.

I just think there is so much potential guys might not be aware of (Idk honestly because who knows what is going on backstage in their lives). But yeah they could have even asked Damon to help them with composition of the pictures on that shirt or even hire Racik to make some pretty art or any fanartist honestly. I could probably go more in depth and give more ideas how to improve merch designs the cheapest and best way as possible but still trying to keep the quality good as it needs to be. I know there is still gonna be people fighting for this shirts and people are still gonna buy their merch but just it hurts my art/designer soul seeing this bad designs when there is so much potential and they have amazing fans and amazing crew and they work with so many talnted people and they themselves are so talented and their music inspired so many and so much.

Alright, normally I don't talk about drama but at this point, I'm pretty tired of it, so I'll just get this off my mind, because it's not like I'll change anything, but YALL ARE BEING SO FUCKING WEIRD WITH THIS LANDO AND MAGUI BULLSHIT.

I've never looked into it, but I'm just trying to scroll on tiktok or instagram and every few weeks I just get like 10 posts like "oh, Lando is in *place*, guess who else is there?", or I'll get a random clip of Lando in public that seems perfectly normal, oppen the comments, and everyone is saying that he's carrying her phone or something.

I can not understand why people care so much, it's not confirmed weather they are dating or not, it's literally just fans making speculations that have gone so far there are literal people who think they are in a public relationship because of so many people posting them and saying that they are 100% dating. If you want to speculate, do whatever you want, I can't stop you, but please just stop spreading misinformation.

If you want to know what I think about them, tho: from what I've seen it seems like he doesn't even interact with her but she just keeps trying to chase after him, I saw on tiktok a few months ago that she posted a picture of her infront of his apparent building or something and dating or not, I think that's freakish behaviour, and I really think she should delete that if she hasn't already, atleast for his privacy if not her decency because that is making her look like a hella obsessed fangirl. Obviously, I didn't randomly start thinking and ranting about this, so I'll tell you that what made me do this if a reel that popped up in my instagram feed from a f1 gossip accont of them being spotted togeder at a new years party in Dubai. That clip is gross to me, because you can see him ducking away from the camera and it was even mentioned in the caption, and people in the comments were laughing because "oh, he's so ashamed to be with her" or that they were holding hands (to me, that just looks like he was holding her shoulder, some people also said that she grabbed his hand when he pulled it back but I didn't see that)

Honestly, whatever, if they're dting, good for them, if not, also good for them, people alredy ruined Landos last realtionship so I completely understand him wanting to keep this secret if they are, even tho she keep hinting at it, but maybe she's just an obsessed friend, who the fuck knows?

I also won't post that clip, because I can't download it and sharing the link could show my account, so I just won't do that, which is probably for the better, we should just respect his privacy, because none of us would like being recorded 24/7 and posted online, even if that is part of his job, just let him live his life off the track.
