Ok so not because I actually want or believe it to be true, but I think there should be some Alan Alda and Mike Farrell rpf, because I’m a Pervert and I’m intrigued. I had to anonymously get this off my chest thank you for your time
Cannot begin to tell you how absolutely delighted I was to get this message. Genuinely made my evening.
Right from the very beginning of my time in this fandom, I (joined by the lovely @pomegranate) asked one key question: Where the FUCK is all the RPF?!
There should be SEVERAL stories out there somewhere, right? Have you guys SEEN the chemistry Alan Alda had with his two male costars? It was off the fucking chain, and for WHAT? For people to IGNORE it?
If there was any justice in this cold, dark world, there would be ship wars about this. Are you #TeamWaylan or #TeamFarralda? Personally, I'm a strong believer and follower of both. (In the past I have come out as more of a Waylan believer despite being a Beejhawker, but I don't think I stand by that anymore.)
It is, quite frankly, a disgrace that this is not more of a thing, and I have – alongside other brave warriors – been doing my part in spreading the Good Word as much as I can.... and it's out there you know! As far as I was aware, we were alone in this, and then ages ago there was a random twitter poll about RPS that had Farralda as an option and no one EVER came forward about who nominated it, so... clearly it is(?) kind of(?) a thing(?)...
Anyway, we have a saying where I'm from... Farralda real. You'd be surprised how often that phrase can naturally come up in polite conversation. Join us. Pspspspspspsp.

something i wish i'd see more in trigun fanarts is people having vash speak their native/non-english languages completely unprompted, ive seen folks have him speak french, which he canonically knows, but i really do believe he's a polyglot. mostly because of that one time in the desert when he saw the samurai and wanted to greet him in japanese but struggled to remember how to even say hello.
my headcanon is that rem had them learn as many languages as possible but with the big fall and so many people dying, which i think is what led english to became No man's land main (or even only?) language, means that vash (and knives!) both got horribly out of practice and are various sort of rusty in every others languages.
what im saying if there's any pun or joke you've been dying to write but just doesn't work in english vash (and knives!!) are right there!

There are many interpretations of the. Miguel and Gabriella and Miguel situation ans ALL OF THEM ARE GREAT but like...have my 2 cents...just hear me out...
Miguel in canon is an asshole in a major way largely because of his abusive upbringing, getting Eldest Daughtered from a young age trying to take care of his younger brother and protect him from George's violence and Conchata's...indifference/contempt? And he starts getting better once he becomes Spiderman, or at least starts thinking more about the consequences of his actions, and what the people in his life mean to him (shit still goes bad because his comics are insane)
If dad!Miguel never became Spiderman...it's honestly pretty likely he doesn't have that bit of growth and honestly, wouldn't have been a great dad. Not abusive, but I can imagine him being kind of absent and kinda emotionally neglectful, seeing how Miguels everywhere are prone to distancing themselves. Miguel also can't keep a relationship, either by breaking up or Spiderman Branded Widowing, so Gabriella wouldn't have had a consistent mother figure.
Alright, so, Gabriella, here, is being raised by a dad with so much baggage and the belief that its better to just keep her away from it (ei, keep her away from him), no real mom/mom is always changing because of Miguel's turbulent love life, maybe her uncle (depending on. Stuff) and maybe her grandma (depending heavily on Stuff). This is a fragile environment that does love her, but ultimately the adults in her life have too much shit going on themselves to effectively tend to her and her needs, especially as she becomes a tween
But our Miguel.
Our Miguel has every reason to love her wholly and unapologetically. Because he has done some very questionable things to have this child, and he treasures every goddamn second. This is a privilege he has comprised his morals for, and he isn't taking it for granted like Gabriella's actual father.
Meanwhile, Gabriella's dad fucking vanishes one night and the guy who shows up looking close enough to fool adults, he's everything she wanted from her dad. He doesn't raise his voice, doesn't get curt. He doesn't have a new girlfriend every other month. He doesn't have this tense, confused look in his eye whenever he looks at her. The guilt is still there, but it's something else. Its not her dad not knowing how to be better. She doesn't know what it is, but has suspicions.
Her papa looks at her like he's finally figured out how to feel about her, like she's finally stopped being another responsibility or chore to tend to. This one loves her even when she needs help with homework, even when she gets in trouble at school, evening when puberty hormones make her temperamental.
Gabriella doesn't know what happened to the first one, and she never finds out. She just knows that there's something...wrong, with the man she calls Papa now, but he loves her the way she always wanted...so it's fine, right?
Miguel, for his part, sees himself teeter towards their parents. Sees himself have the thing he wants so badly, would do anything for, and skirt the line their parents crossed, their whole lives. And then, that other man with his face dies. Maybe someone else, maybe Miguel really did kill himself.
Either way.
A child gets a parent who loves them, a parent gets a child who they can love freely.
So, it's fine, right?

How did Donnie react to the oops babies? How did he know these eggs were different than the other ones?
oh gosh. vague, unsure hand motions. i haven't thought about it too much yet, since it's not really a part of my plan for the main story and therefore not the focus, and also like. shrugs. turtle biology??? mutant biology??? what a mystery. so idk what exactly a pregnancy would look like for them, though i do think they'd know about the existence of kiddos before any eggs actually entered the world.
i think that donnie would have a lot of feelings about it, like, you know, most people would, and there'd definitely be a lot of fear/anxiety/uncertainty (esp at the beginning) for a lot of reasons. but at that stage of his life, he is also in a really good, steady relationship with his partner,,, and has the support of his family,,, and it's definitely not like he HATES the idea of a Mini Him, he just hadn't planned on it so soon,,, (and also he is kind of, like. curious about the Whole Situation,,, scientist brain lighting up,,,)
he and sorrelshine definitely, like, go over all the pros and cons and discuss it at leNGTH on sEVERAL occasions before they come to any conclusion about what they're gonna do about it. but eventually, it's kinda just like...
fuck it, we ball. y'know?
