I come from Katee's Instagram account, my friends in the Facebook group "bokadin witnesses" have conveyed this news to me.

Din and Bo cosplayers from Las Vegas had posted images from their upcoming wedding and Katee shared them on her stories.

She tagged Pedro Pascal and The Mandalorian series profile.

I only have 3 things to say:

I feel very happy for the cosplayers, I can see that they are people with big hearts, I congratulate them and send many blessings for them and their next stage. It makes me very happy to see that the community of Star Wars and DinBo cosplayers is growing a lot.

I love being able to find healthy people in the fandom.

Second; I love how Katee is so committed to her fans and I think it is a very nice act that she shares material from her fans. It just shows what a great human being she is.

And finally; I'm going to take this as anything, because it could be that. Or maybe it could be a loving gesture that they are going to show us something spectacular between Din and Bo.

I'm not going to speculate, because I want Katee to be calm and free of toxic fans (I've seen what they are doing with Amanda from the acolyte, there are definitely very dirty people)

It can be understood that there are people who don't like the shipping or things in the series, but insulting and harassing, that's not okay.

I just want to say that this type of post gives me a lot of hope, a new hope (wink) and a lot of faith in continuing to believe in this clan, in this shipment and that the two will be together in the film, living together as a family and as a healthy couple.

This is the way. So be it.

Technically, I only have 32. I would personally count all of my collections and challenges as separate fics, but I'm honestly too lazy to format them that way. (mostly thinking ab wcc here)

I have a total of 200,985 words right now. Didn't realize I'd hit the 200,00 mark yet!

3. What fandoms do you write for?

I think it's safe to say Pedro Pascal is my fandom. I have no objections to writing for any other characters though---in fact, I've actually featured some Oscar Isaac characters in my fics before. I also have an unpublished Marc Spector fic that's been sitting in my docs for a while 🤭

I honestly have a habit of making most endings happy 😂 I don't feel like digging right now so I'm just gonna say What Matters. (Age gap Joel Miller x f!reader) This is also my most popular one shot on Tumblr with over 1,000 notes.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not too much, but I have gotten some shit for little things on TTF. This rly sucks because I let it get to me too much and I end up getting into a slump.

No idea. I honestly think that sometimes I kind of lock in and am able to write immaculate stories, but most of the time they're just meh. Great at description at these times.

Fantastic if used right! I love little terms here and there depending on the ethnicity of the character and their first language since it definitely adds to the authenticity. I do like for the translation to be at the end of the phrase/excerpt though instead of at the end of the fic.

Why do I worry that if/when Dinbo becomes canon, the rest of the din shippers are just gonna flood the tag with nasty and terrible things? Its happened in so many other fandoms to where the actual shippers have to go pretty much into hiding. Im not calling out a particular subsection of mando shippers but I also am ***

i know there’s a lot of people against dinbo and that’s perfectly fine! as long as you aren’t harassing the people who do ship it and tagging your negativity correctly so that people who don’t want to see that can block the tag but you gotta admit they are a family now. romantic or not, the three of them care about each other a lot and are a little family in some way now. and i love that for them. all three orphans all alone now have each other. that’s beautiful.

I have no angsty endings. Either it ends happy, or it doesn't end at all (like I will simply never write an ending, it goes on and on...).

All happy endings. Happiest? Probably a 3-way tie between A Marriage of Convenience, A New Creed, and Arms Wide Open.

No, I've been fortunate so far.

Rarely, pretty non-descriptive and minimally explicit. It almost always has some sort of asexual spectrum undertones to it, too. See question #16.

My first and favorite ship ever is obscure - Colleen and Andrew from Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. I think I enjoyed that Andrew supported Colleen's plans to become a doctor and appreciated her skills in a time when women were not respected in medicine. Guess what I do for a living...

15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

The only one I may not ever find the motivation to finish is Trusted Friend which I started for a DinBo challenge - it's a stretch for me because it's planned to be a very smutty, friends-with-benefits kind of thing. It's just not quite as personal to me as my other fics which are more based in my own experiences.

16. What are your writing strengths?

For sure nonsexual and nonromantic intimacy. I started writing to represent the diversity of asexual and aromantic experiences which I don't see in this fandom, and I think I do it pretty well. My fics run the gamut from conventional romantic/sexual relationship to QPR to platonic partnership, and they all have some basis in my own life (or my own fantasy scenarios).

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I definitely rush to get it out once I start writing, and I feel some of my fics read a bit choppy. I also tend to go too heavy on dialogue.

18. Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

I personally find it a little distracting, so I don't do it. Just an occasional Mando'a endearment.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

This is hard, but I have to say A Marriage of Convenience which depicts a non-sexual, intimate QPR. This was my first fic which I literally wrote during a time of crisis IRL to portray the kind of marriage I wish I could have had (if I'd understood my aroace identity). I've explored so many aspects of asexuality in particular in that fic, especially relating to physical intimacy, and I've gotten amazingly satisfying feedback on it. I even wrote two alternate endings to explore how sex might fit into that relationship structure which was a really fun exercise, too.

Sabezra DinBo Solidarity Week Day 1

The fics I have been b*tching about for the last two months can finally come out to play.

This is my debut Rebels fic!

This is a long-dormant MRR story, the first of many for this challenge that got a bit out of hand.

Are they on a mission? Are they on a date? Is the date a mission? Is the mission a date? Does anyone involved even have clue enough to know????

The way) I do have to say your positivity of this season is refreshing. I feel like I’ve been defending this season all by myself. Dave and Jon are excellent writers and I trust them with my whole heart. This season has really focused on the subtle plot choices that are going to come clashing together and make sense.

I love this! Thank you so much for sharing these thoughts. It's so nice to hear from other voices who are not so quick to jump on the negativity bandwagon. The Mandalorian tag has definitely had its ups and downs over the seasons. I can remember when the chief complaint was that there were too many episodes with canned plots that were "filler" or "slow" or "side quests" and everyone kept asking "where is the plot?" Of course, the overarching plot (that all those canned episodes contributed important pieces to) always came crashing down in the last few episodes of the season and they complained about that too.

This season has seen a lot more world building and has been incredibly focused on character development. The chief complaint I've heard now is that Din's character is "regressing" or being "sidelined". In the first two seasons, Din's priority was a) keeping Grogu alive and b) getting Grogu to a permanent home. Since The Book of Boba Fett, Din has accepted that Grogu is now his responsibility for the long haul. That has shifted his whole world. He can't keep dragging a baby on bounty hunting missions and even if he could, he wants something better for Grogu. He wants to give him a home and people, a stable lifestyle. Bo-Katan can make that happen and he is willing to support her in any way possible to help her succeed - not just for his and Grogu's benefit - because he truly believes in her.

And though I understand and respect that Dinbo is not everyone's cup of tea, I do believe that is the direction the writers are taking their relationship, especially in light of the fact that Bo has voluntarily (with zero prompting from Din) assumed a motherly role with Grogu. For me, I just really want to see these characters find some peace and happiness. I know that in Star Wars peace is always temporary, but it would be very satisfying for me to see Grogu, Din, and Bo (three characters who started this journey utterly alone) become a family. They have each grown so much over these three seasons and the writers have spent the most time focusing on them for a reason. I believe their story can be told well without detracting from the bigger picture of restoring Mandalore and pushing back against the restoration of the Empire.

We know that Star Wars fans are a toxic bunch who aren't happy unless they're complaining. I'll be the first to admit, I went through a phase where I really hated on the sequels (even though I was actually enjoying them until TRoS). We've all done it. And let's be real, there are legitimate reasons to be critical of some of these shows/movies. But I really do believe that a lot of the negativity over this season of The Mandalorian has been predominantly from fans who were just salty that their hyper specific headcanons weren't coming true or because they jumped the gun and judged it before they got to the end. If I had a nickel for every complaint about loose threads, I'd be rich. Even before the season is complete, the vast majority of those threads or pieces have become relevant and now everyone can clearly see why those were important. Patience is a virtue, y'all. Let the season play out and just learn to enjoy the ride. Save your criticisms for after it's done - you'll probably have a lot less of them and you'll undoubtedly feel less stupid when that plot thread you thought was just dropped actually became relevant (looking at you people who thought they went through all that trouble with IG-11 for no reason). Maybe we should all start meditating on my new favorite Mandalorian proverb:

"One does not speak unless one knows."

It sounds a lot like this other favorite of mine:

i personally dislike it. i think it does no good for either of their characters, and while i understand why some people like it, i just personally can't stand it. and it's not that i hate either din or bo in this scenario, but it's mostly because the dinbo fandom is... really... well. how do i say this.

once i found a dinbo art of them making out (it was hella detailed and impressive btw) with the caption "take me to church" 💀 like... guys... that song is for gay people. that song is a GAY ANTHEM. you can't just use that for your comphet ship 😭 it made my blood boil. that, along with the fact that dinbo shippers are using the "clan of three" tag?? that's so wrong. clan of three was coined by the dinluke fandom (dincobb slightly as well) and i don't think it's really that great to take another fandom ship tag yk? maybe i'm just overreacting. i just feel like dinbo is really comphet and i dislike that a lot. also like imagine going through your fandom ship tag looking for some family/clan stuff for your ship and you find a completely different ship overtaking the entire tag that had been used for your ship since forever? that's how i felt seeing dinbo coming to rise. it's not even about the ship at this point, it's about the fandom and how i feel like they're shoving their comphet shit down our throats.

and i often see arguments like "you guys just hate straight ships!" and stuff like that but it's like ??? no??? i don't care about straight or gay ships or whatever. literally does not matter to me. anidala? love it. obitine? love it. dinluke? love it. barrisoka? love it. nitearmor? love it. dincobb? love it. kanera? love it. it's literally not about gay ships or straight ships, it's about the fact that these characters who literally hate each other are being shipped and that content is being forced in everyone's faces.

anyway bo-katan was really racist in general (esp to boba fett) and she called din's covert a cult, which does NOT fly with me. she invalidated him and his devotion to the creed. she was so clearly set up to be an antagonist before s3 came out, idk why they switched it up so suddenly. while they work well together, i don't ship them at all really. at MOST i'll accept like a really weird friendly rivalry but i don't like seeing them together. i do have mutuals who ship them and i don't really care if someone does or not, but i personally dislike seeing it. i'll leave it at that.

When it comes to Boba Fett and Din Djarin I'm a multi-shipper but my preference is definitely them because the time they share onscreen is just amazing and just gives my silly fangirl heart so much love. I wonder if the racism thing is like how people prefer the DinLuke ship or DinBo, two ships that I dislike so much that they are on my block tags. I mean obviously, ship and let ship but I don't have to like it myself. Bo Katan has been racist against Boba Fett but somehow she's still queen boss who can never do wrong in the fandom. The whole of Mandalore is just... white... with Jango Fett being the only POC Mandalorian outside of the clones (who also get white washed) and Boba Fett and suddenly he's not Mandalorian or good enough. But people leapt to ship Bo Katan with Din and same with Luke with Din. Is this what you guys are talking about or is the shipping here more like how I ship Din with Cobb Vanth because I think they definitely have a thing for one another? This is why I'm not sure and am just wondering if my own anger at Bo Katan that makes me despise the ship and annoyance that Luke Skywalker is the be-all-to-end-all for cool Jedi, that it's making me feel this way?

I think you shouldn’t feel guilty for shipping any pairing you like - unless it involves incest or paedophilia. I haven’t seen much of The Mandalorian, so I can’t comment on any of the ships, but I’m sure Din/Cobb Vanth is interesting if you like it!

@palettesofrenaissance-main and I were thinking about how m/m pairings seem to get more attention in fandom, especially if they’re both white. Kylux is a massive pairing in the ST fandom, even though Hux gets very little screen time overall.

I was looking for his profile on this network but I didn't find anything and I really wish I could tag his profile and give him a round of applause for his magnificent work.

This second drawing is inspired by the famous Spiderman kiss. I'm sure that among Oceanee's stories, there was a story that mentioned this type of kiss (I hope I'm not wrong) And if I'm wrong, forgive me!!!

But I needed to see this kiss already captured with the essence of Din and Bo. Because even with a helmet, you can feel that magnetism between them.

I hope you like this art; I will try to do better things for the fans. And I also want to give a very loud applause and congratulations to all the DinBo writers who work hard to bring out such beautiful and magnificent stories about this couple. normally i'd put my thoughts in the tags but not today. this is not a knock to you op specifically i want to make that clear but more about the attitude of fandom as a whole. incestous? are we really doing this over two characters who are not actually blood related. it is perfectly valid to believe that din and bo-katan have a sibling like dynamic and want their relationship to remain platonic but the way this fandom has reacted to the mere idea of din and bo possibly becoming romantic is troubling to me.

headcanons are not actual canon and they are not homogenous throughout fandom. believe that din is gay, bi or ace? cool. think bo is a lesbian or pan or bi? cool. it's your headcanon after all but being shitty about other ships because it doesn't conform to your ideas? terrible behavior.

why is it more acceptable to ship dinluke, dincobb, dinomara, dinboba than to ship dinbo?

there are perfectly valid and normal reasons to not ship something but fandom has been actively hostile and it's tiring.

that said -- do i see these two married any time soon? no lol. they don't seem the type even if they got together but that's just my own opinion.
