31. First time - deaf!jere and bojan, thank you, i love these!

NSFW ahead <3 A little bit of chapter 10 of the original fic from Jere's perspective :)

31: first time

"You're m...my angel, Jere..."

Oh. Jere instinctively throws an arm over his already flushed face. How can Bojan just say those things? As embarrassing as it is, it makes Jere's heart sing to know that the brunette thinks of him like that. He puffs out a breathy sigh, the pleasure washing over him steadily like the waves of the ocean. Bojan is putting his all into making both of their first time with another man as awesome as possible.

He peeks out from under his arm, somehow magnetically drawn to the sight of his boyfriend on top of him. Bojan's eyes have slipped close in bliss, his eyebrows furrowed in desperation, a gorgeous deep blush staining his cheeks. Jere's expression softens, undeniably fond of this beautiful man. Maybe it's the sex making him feel all emotional but....he's feeling the urge to talk. To speak again, after an entire month of not using his voice around Bojan. He knows the younger man has been dying to hear him. But Bojan has been so respectful of his boundaries, never pushing him to speak, frequently apologizing for what happened between them.

Jere feels ready. Feels safe enough again to share his voice with Bojan. So he takes a moment to catch his breath, to try and gather his words in between the constant moaning.

Eventually he pipes up, bashful, but confident that Bojan will understand the weight behind it. "B....Bojjaaaan...."

Rather comedically, Bojan's eyes fly open, so wide and cute that Jere can't suppress a huge smile. Tears start to pool in those sweet brown eyes. Jere makes a noise of sympathy, raising his hands to wipe at the wetness that soon starts streaming down Bojan's face. His lover leans down to bury his face into his neck, arms shifting to wrap around Jere's trembling body. The deaf Finn gasps at the shift in position, legs automatically wrapping around Bojan's waist, holding on for dear life.

"I love you, Jere, fuck I love you so much...." Bojan whines into his ear, audibly overwhelmed with love and pleasure alike. Jere smiles into the Slovene's shoulder, hugging Bojan close, more than anything just happy to be in his arms.

He parrots the words back to Bojan. The words he's been practicing to say out loud since the moment they got together. Saving them for a special occasion, though he's always loved Bojan.

"I....lo...ah....ove....youuu....."

I may be very biased doing this lmao but the one I had the most fun writing is probably It Started With A Demodog, it’s like a 2-year project, I put in every single headcanon and trope I love in, and so many smaller side stories came out of it that I also had fun writing. I remembered smiling a lot while writing it, so I definitely had fun

And for my rarer pair creelson I gotta say Eddie Munson and His Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Cellmate has a real good second place in my heart. I had a lot of fun putting everyone in jail for this AU lmao. Also, riding off to the sunset with your cellmate is one of the most romantic things I’ve ever written yeah

Definitely Things Left Unsaid, that fic is SUPER angsty with a really sad ending. It's non canon Major Character Death, so of course it's angsty lol.

❣️What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I'm...not sure? A lot of my fics end in happy endings. But if I had to pick the happy ending that made me the most emotional, I'd have to choose Blossoming in the Rain.

❣️Do you get hate on your fic?

Surprisingly, no. I've only gotten support for my fics. Which I am VERY much thankful for. To all of my followers, readers, and supporters...thank you SO much for making my fandom experience so lovely <3

❣️Do you write smut?

Definitely lol. I used to be terrified of writing smut...and then I met a certain someone *cough cough* @mikaharuka *cough cough* and now I've written a lot of smut. This is all YOUR FAULT BESTIE.

❣️Do you write crossovers?

Nope lol. I like to keep my fandoms separate.

❣️Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I...don't think so? But if someone has stolen my fics, please be sure to tell me! I'm not exactly keen on the idea of my fics being plagiarized or stolen.

Again, I have no idea. I don't think it has since nobody has approached me before, so to my knowledge it's a no.

Yes!!! I've co written SO many things with my bestiest of besties @tsunderesalty and I love every fic I've co written with him. He's just the greatest and he's an amazing writer. Check him out!

❣️What's your all-time favorite ship?

Hmm! For Ace Attorney, it's a tough choice between Klapollo and Franmaya. For Stardew, my top ship is my farmer and Sebastian (Sebakonnie)

❣️What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

My flufftober series. I started it in 2022...and it's currently 2024. I just kinda lost steam for that fic. I am very proud of all the fics I've written for it, though. Maybe I should revisit it...

❣️What are your writing strengths?

Nothing.

Ahem, knowing how my dearest besties would respond to that...I guess my flexibility with writing styles? I talked about this with my friends before, but I have multiple writing styles, five to be specific. I can switch between them pretty easily, and I like to think they're all distinct from each other but still being undeniably me. God, I really don't wanna sound like I'm bragging XD.

❣️What are your writing weaknesses?

NOT KNOWING WHEN TO SHUT THE FUCK UP. I literally cannot shut up for the life of me. It is a curse. My fics would be SO much shorter if I just shut up lol.

❣️Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Oh!!! Actually, so about this! For reference, I'm Filipino, born and raised in the Philippines. I can speak Filipino and Tagalog pretty well, and I can understand Bisaya (Cebuano is its official name, but everyone in the Philippines calls it Bisaya) well, but I can speak it only a little bit. Anyway, I've always wanted to incorporate Filipino and Bisaya into my fics but didn't know how...and then I thought of Filipino Phoenix! Happy to say that I'm planning on writing that soon :3

So yeah, happy to include languages other than English! Especially my native language. Otherwise, for languages I don't know. I use Deepl, it's a very useful tool!

I'm all for using different languages in my fics, and when I get something wrong, I'm quick to correct it!

Ah, this is a little sneak peak of the next chapter actually. ^_^

Instead, Iguchi just shoved him back onto the bed, then stormed back over to his own, muttering about what a spoiled asshole he was all the way over.

I started to write a chapter where MC, Shigaraki, and Iguchi go to a climbing/bouldering gym, but ultimately scrapped it. I still like the concept though, so I'll probably bring it back in some form or another in the sequel, though without this particular version of banter, since this takes place when MC and Shigaraki are still trying to deny their feelings for each other. xD

Little more than a paragraph, but I have a feeling y'all won't complain.

“I thought we were already rock-climbing,” Shigaraki said as she knelt down in front of him to adjust the harness around his waist.

“Nah, that was bouldering.”

“What’s the difference?”

“Besides the harness?” she chuckled, then nodded towards one of the walls they were actually going to climb, which was at least three times the height of the tallest wall they’d covered in the other section of the gym.

“Huh,” he acknowledged with a twitch of his mouth.

That actually looked kind of fun.

She secured the last strap and then tapped Shigaraki on his outer thigh for his attention, “Alright, is that too tight?”

He just smirked down at her, “I don’t know. Maybe you should give it a feel and check.”

“You realize I’m in prime nut-tapping position right now, right?” she deadpanned, “Might not want to piss me off.”

Oh, he was painfully aware of her position right now. About fifty different scenarios of her sucking his dick right now had cycled through his head just in the time since she asked that question.

22. do you every worry about public reaction to what you're writing? how do you get past that?

Hmmm, not much. Not anymore at least. When I first started this blog I was a bit worried about potential harassment since I do write dark and problematic content. But I've really only received one or two mean comments/anon messages in the, what, 2 years I've been posting this content? And I just deleted them.

Haha that being said, I think I'm actually a little nervous about whether or not people will like this next chapter. It's pretty much entirely Shigaraki and Iguchi backstory and it also weaves in a lot of really personal viewpoints and experiences with mental illness, so I do hope I do that representation justice.

23. pick three keywords that describe your writing

Ooooh, I'd say angsty and problematic, but also, ultimately healing.

I really love exploring toxic relationships and complicated dynamics in my fics, and particularly I really like to examine how characters can grow from and out of those dynamics and become better people. I love to write growth and character arcs.

...now, would it probably be a bit more moral if I didn't also write these fics as love stories? If Play Nice was a cautionary tale and I wrote about how MC is able to get away from Shigaraki and move on with her life? Haha, yeah probably.

But where's the fun in that?

My line: It had been a confused, last-ditch attempt – and, though she’d never admit to it, she might’ve been drunk – when Belladonna had sent Cassiopeia a message.

It had been very professional, even considering the glass of wine she’d helped herself to beforehand – she rarely indulged in wine, because fruit had a lot of calories, but she’d been in such a bad mood that she’d allowed herself to. A short message requesting a meeting with Cassiopeia, admittedly for personal business, and wondering if she might be able to take the time out of her day.

She’d expected to receive a polite form rejection, or, at best, a response in the same style indicating that perhaps they could meet and discuss concerns. Something very professional, as was always the manner among nobles.

What she hadn’t expected was for Cassiopeia to immediately open a personal channel – Belladonna had sent her message through their usual business channel, as was polite – and respond asking her when she’d like to meet.

My rewrite:

As a last-ditch effort, Belladonna worked up the courage to send a short message to Cassiopeia, asking for her to meet up for personal matters admittedly. She could only hope that Cassiopeia would find time out of her busy schedule to appear. Although she'd never admit it to others or herself, It was sent while in a wine induced incoherent state.

Somehow, the message managed to stay professional despite the alcohol altering all of her senses. Normally, she'd politely refuse the stuff as the fruit to make the wine was full of calories, but with her mood as grim as it was, she gave herself permission to indulge in it just for tonight.

She expected a polite form of rejection from her or, at best, a formal acquiesce to meet in private and discuss vital concerns as was customary etiquette among the nobles. Belladonna found herself stupefied when Cassiopeia promptly opened their personal channel, inquiring when they should meet up. She sent the message through their routine business channel and expected the response in the same manner.

Your line:

As I lay my head on my arms, I ogle the woman across the street, completely disregarding my homework. Before I realize it, the streetlights go on; I should leave, but something roots me in my seat. As darkness continues to fall outside, I spot the woman emerging from the store and securing everything for the evening. Something yells at me to follow her, and I begin haphazardly stuffing my backpack with all my belongings. As the woman begins to walk down the sidewalk, I sling my bag over my shoulder.

"Bye Sam, I've got to get back to the dorm before the RA throws a fit." I lie to my friend behind the counter while keeping an eye on the woman.

“Bye Jung, be careful on the way back." Sam replied gently, something that I always appreciate about her.

As she rounds the nearest corner between the two buildings, I make my way outside. Doesn't she realize how dangerous that is? A stalker or murderer might be nearby, or a rapist, or even... Taking my pale yellow hoodie off, I quickly tuck it into my bag. I have to make sure she gets home safely, right? If I wear this I'll stand out and I might scare her.

44: stalker! Tommy x deaf! Jere I'm so obsessed with this idea now

glad you like the concept anon 😋 (just a disclaimer beforehand that in this AU of an AU Jere and Tommy are not in a relationship before Jere gets abducted)

44: tipping chin up

Tommy's getting a little agitated. Jere has been giving him the cold shoulder for well over 30 minutes now. Which, okay, is mostly the Estonian's fault. He's not proud of it but he did take away Jere's hearing aids earlier. But only so he could take his phone call in peace without having to worry about his Finn hearing things he shouldn't. It had just been Mikke, calling to ask if Tommy knows where his little brother is and getting increasingly more hostile the more the brunette played dumb. In the end, Tommy hung up the phone just as Mikke's angry rant started becoming more Finnish and less English.

Afterwards Jere blatantly refused to accept the hearing aids back. While Tommy understands that he did hurt the other man by practically yanking the devices out of his ears, at some point the ignoring became less justified and more petty. And he's getting fed up with it.

"Jere." Tommy says through gritted teeth, despite knowing that it can't be heard. He forcefully tugs at the blankets Jere has protectively wrapped around himself like a cocoon. A distressed whine comes from underneath the cloth but it's not enough to halt Tommy's actions.

"I'm trying to-" The brunette pants out as the struggle continues. For being in such a vulnerable state, Jere remains feisty as ever. "-talk to you so just fucking knock it off!"

At last, Tommy wins. The blankets are thrown further across the mattress and Jere is finally bare before his eyes. But that Finnish stubborness just won't fade no matter what because Jere still defiantly fixates his eyes on the floor. Out of patience, the Estonian's fingers reach out to grab the younger man's jaw, forcefully tilting his chin up until angry blue eyes glare into his. Jere's mascara is a little smudged and even through the thick haze of frustration, Tommy feels a stab in his chest at the realization that his beloved must've been on the verge of tears earlier.

"I'm sorry." Tommy mouthes the words slowly, lets Jere read his lips. Black eyebrows furrow together at that, clearly not ready to forgive yet, but the fire in Jere's blue eyes is starting to fizzle out the longer the tall man holds eyecontact.

He releases his tight grip on the Finn's jaw, digging around inside his hoodie pocket until he finds two neon green hearing aids. This time, Jere accepts them when they're offered to him, albeit hesitantly. Tommy watches his friend (it physically pains him to have to admit that they're not quite official yet, he's working on it) put the devices back in, allowing him to hear again.

"Hey...." The Estonian keeps his tone soft, as if speaking to a frightened animal. "I'm sorry. Can you speak, please?"

Jere's previously timid expression turns into a frown and Tommy realizes that he's pushed his luck too far. The overstepping of boundaries rewards him with Jere literally turning his back on him. Oh well. Trial and error. Tommy likes to think of this as a learning experience for the both of them.

At the moment I have an outline for maybe nine chapters (or more, therefore the question mark 😁) and most of the first chapter is done.

What in the ever loving hipster hell is this?” His mouth hanging open, Sy glanced around the terrace of what once was ole Hank's fish and grill house. 

There were all different kinds of stools and tables mixed together, blackboards with colorful letters were advertising at least twenty different kinds of coffee, not even to mention the sorts of tea Sy had never heard of before. Plants were placed between tables and there were fairy lights hanging over the whole place.

He would have admitted that it looked comfy and inviting if it wouldn't have been for the fact that this was HIS dream location and California girl had snatched it from him. 

He opened the front door and couldn't help but be impressed. Inside it even looked more cozy and the scent of fresh baked goods made his mouth water. 

To his surprise there weren't a lot of customers at the tables. Surely the coffee and pastries weren't as good as they smelled, he thought. 

With long strides he walked to the counter. A woman had his back turned to him, her head bowed down to look into one of the ovens. Sy couldn't help but look at the cute jeans clad ass that was directly on his display. 

“Just one moment please” he heard her clear voice chirping and he bit his tongue to stop himself from making a comment about him not minding his view. Instead, he just let out a small grunt.

The woman turned around, a wide smile on her ruby lips and holding a steaming pie in her hands. Her green eyes met his with a curious and friendly expression.

“What can I get you, sir?”

But Sy just stared at her for a second too long to not be rude. Not that it mattered, because he damn well didn't care if he was rude. 

“You? For real? First you stole my candy and now you steal my restaurant, too?”

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Ehhhhhh unreliably. I want to but get anxiety. I've been working on it and have done a lot better on more recent fic than older ones.

6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Me? Angst? Psh. girl please. i only tease the angst at friends via ps i love you au (😘) but like. maybe ch 2 of Help! I've Fallen and I Can't Giddy-Up or i've had some semi angst adjacent drabbles on tumblr. I guess. I'm not about that life.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? most are fairly open-ended but headed towards HEA. But i feel like maybe Live It Like It's Meow or Never because Reggie gets to be a cat and take a nap in the sun!

8. Do you get hate on fics? Nope.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I do not. I'm just starting to get comfortable writing slightly heated kissing 😅 (comfortable she says! HA! she had a mini panic attack writing the kiss in Justice, Over Easy)

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? Remember that half Nancy Drew CW fandom i mentioned earlier? I did a JATPxND ficlet that went over surprisingly well.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? nope. i currently have a hard enough time writing with myself lol

14. What's your all-time favorite ship? i'm assuming this means to write since it's a writers ask game. Juke, but if i bring alex into it much, willie is bound to follow (him anywhere)

15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? I had a really intense juke dream about a month ago... 2 months ago. that i started writing a scene from because honestly it was a pretty cool premise. but the further i get away from that night, the more other wips are being prioritized. maybe i will just share the morning text ramble of it i did in the group chat because i really do want to share something. I just don't think it will be a written out ficlet.

16. What are your writing strengths? IDEAS. I can see a thing happen and be like "BUT WHAT IF JUKE" for days on end. in apparently very strange places too. I feel like i have rather unusual premise for what i end up writing sometimes.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? despite knowing what a good narrative can look like, i immediately cannot recall it once writing. It's not like it's bad but i feel like it lacks a bit and reflects my short time since starting to write. Also, if i write it the simple dumb way to get it out of my brain. Chances are, it will take me 4 months to go from reading it and saying "well i wrote the thought out. it's there. it's done" unable to write it any different or better, to my editor brain kicking in and figuring out how to really say it.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? Um. If it's necessary within the realms of the plot and characters it's fine? I'm not multilingual so anything i did would be google translated or asking a friend that speaks it, so i don't really mess around with it. as a reader, if a fic on ao3 says it's in english, i normally don't want half a chapter to be in another language even if it is a native tongue to multiple characters since I don't know what they are saying without using a translator or scrolling to the bottom a/n so /shrug. take that as you will.

19. First fandom you wrote for? jatp. no other fandom i've been a part of has made me go quite this feral.

20. Favorite fic you've written? Picking a favorite is impossible. But I'd say i'm probably currently most proud of Help! I've Fallen and I Can't Giddy Up as it was the first (and only) chaptered fic that i've finished and i challenged myself with each chapter. But honestly, i add new elements to each fic i post, whether its learning new html, learning how skins work on ao3, making a gif/picture to go with it, or just challenging myself within the writing like getting more confident with intimacy.
