A stone in their stomach, no, a flaming hot piece of sharp lava stone, yes, that is a much better description of the aching pain they feel in the pit of their guts. A sick sensation gripping the edges of their perception - their only focus on you.

Somebody's touch on your arm, by a hand not familiar to them.

If only they checked your socials, then they'd know. But they don't. For the sake of their own sanity, for the sanity of the people around them. Even if it pained them more than they'd admit. Yet, it was the only way to ... to survive? This, this was really though, no more wild thoughts, no more blank images, no head canons of you being neither happy nor sad, this was too real. And they hated it. Not because you seemed fine, well, obviously they hated that you seemed to have a life away from them, being just fine, but it was something else. It was different.

They narrow their eyes, inspecting the unfamiliar face at your side. A guy they'd never seen before. The only one that really annoys them, that makes their blood boil. The others of the group, not their focus right now. Only the guy you laugh at, smile at, with this sincere warmth in your eyes. Those eyes. Your eyes. You should be looking at them this way and only them. This is so wrong. The way your whole body seems to be drawn to the stranger. F feels sick, their hands trembling with anger.

Another heartfelt laugh. Oh please, you are only polite surely. Right?Laughing at his stupid joke, making him flustered, yeah, they saw it, how this idiot brushed his hand through his stupid hair "all shy". Pah. Who wears their hair like this these days anyways?

But then... your hand lands on the stranger's chest and F feels like the ground has been pulled from underneath their feet. Your phantom touch palpable on their own chest, as if punching the air violently from their lunges. They gasp. They feel dizzy, their head spinning. And your hand? It lingers, on the fabric of his stupid ugly sweater. Too long.

F's face turns hot. A disgusting lump in their throat. Please, don't throw up. Breathe. BREATHE. They close their eyes. They need to do something. Now. F straightens their shirt before taking the first step towards you, one of many they have to take before they reach you, at the other side of the bar.

It feels like they had to circle the earth, their legs heavy, the time passing slowly, each step almost pushing them to their edge mentally. When they finally stop in front of you, you're still talking to him, fully focussed on the conversation, not having noticed F yet.

It's now or never.

"H-Hi..." they stutter. Damn, why now. Be chill, be cool.

You're clearly shocked, your eyes wide open, your mouth agape "What are you doing here? No, wait, I don't want to know."

F is surprised to see you this hostile. What did they expect though? And yet, it still hurts. "C'mon, please? Can we... talk?"

"I don't know what there's to talk about." your arms crossed, brows narrowed. The stranger stepping closer to you, creating a safe space between him and you. F glares at them, their gaze ready to kill, and if necessary, their hands too, as they unconsciously flex their fists at the stranger's approach. Just in time you raise your hand, signaling your "friend" to relax, and he does. The stranger and MC exchange a look that makes F's blood pressure rise, a heavy throbbing in their skull. With a smile solely for you and a snarl in F's direction, he steps back and joins the rest of this pitiful group.

A moment of silence follows.

Another try "MC, I..."

"No, I don't want to talk. Listen, I am here with my friends, having a good time. I...I am an not in the head space to... to..."

They interrupt, hissing at you "I don't care about your idiot friends..."

"Excuse me? What is wrong with you?!" you return in anger.

Shit, "I..I'm sorry. I...didnt mean it"

Staring at them, almost fuming at their attitude you retort "No you're not. Don't pretend."

"Ok I'm not. I don't care about these...about them." they look in the direction of your friends, who seem to be whispering among each other, most definitely about them. They gasp. Focus. "I... only ... I..." they stumble over their own words as they meet your gaze again, too much to bear, the intensity in your eyes making them shiver.

"No, don't you dare." you warn, "you can't just come here and be rude to my friends and demand all attentions because you just feel like it, F."

"I..." the words, all gone, their head empty. Their eyes not, they burn. Shit. Goosebumps over their back, the intensity too much to handle. Control yourself. They swallow.

You huff, "No, this is bullshit. You always do .. you always did this."

A moment of silence. None of you speak. No sound to be heard. No faces to be seen except yours. It's only you two.

They take a deep breath, scared of the silence and yet more scared of what you might say next.

"I am sorry." they hush. You must have read it from their lips rather than you actually heard it - your eyes are glued to their mouth. You still look angry ...and hurt. Your eyes, they glister. Shit.

"Why do you..." you manage to say, your voice weak, resenting.

Again they interrupt you "Stop, please, I ... please, can we, can we just talk? For a moment, That's all I want. I will leave after this. I promise. Mc, just a moment. And then I'm gone and you can... enjoy the rest of your night with your... friends" , they beg.

"No, F, I don't think this is the right time for this... for us...", your voice shaking slightly, nobody would notice, but they do. They always would. They know you. They can't breathe.

Another moment of painful silence. This time though F doesn't say anything anymore. Numb. Paralyzed. Beaten.

Nothing.

Just pain.

Resignation.

They're cold.

Then, a head shake.

Hope?

"Listen. One drink. Get us one drink, and I will listen. No more." you throw into the thick air, pulling back the last threads they feared to be cut forever. Right now they would take anything from you. Any word. Any insult. The fear of never hearing your voice again? Haunting. And now this. Don't fuck it up.

"Ok, ok, yes. One drink, I'll be right back." they hurry, their heart racing, no second to waste, no breath to spare. Off to the bar.

At the bar they whistle to get the bar tenders attention, nervously tapping their black card on the counter.

"I need a Flamingo Martini and a beer." You always loved this drink, since the very first time they showed you, it had been your all-time favourite. A small smile creeping to their lip. Is there hope? Their hands shaking.

With a raised brow and a questioning expression the man behind the bar asks F to be more specific "What kind of beer?"

"Whatever, I don't care, make it quick." they toss the card at the bartender impatiently, who barely manages to catch it.

The bartender only rolls their eyes before turning around.

_ Meanwhile _

You have no idea if this was the right thing to do. You feel like shit. Like crazy, your heart is racing. Your emotions? Barely controllable right now. You hate this, the influence F can take on you.

When Peter appears next to you he looks worried. "Everything alright?"

You only nod, not very convincing though, neither to him nor for yourself.

"If you want me to get rid of them, just let me know, ok? We're here for you." Peter tries to reassure you.

And you break. A tear rolling down your cheek. Why? Why of all places does F have to appear here? This is too much.

Peter takes a step closer, slowly raising his hand to your cheek, gently wiping away the tear, a soft smile on his lips, yet eyes full of worry.

You try to return a smile, but fail miserably. You know what's next to come will be hard but you want to get through with it. You need to.

Peter seems to sense this. He nods. "We're just over there when you need something." This time your tiny smile is real. You're grateful for him, for them. To have such good friends. You watch him leave and then turn around to see where F is.

But F is nowhere to be seen.

Your eyes search for them, yet there is no sign of them.

Then your eyes fall to the bar. Two drinks. A beer... and your favourite cocktail. The pink flamingo still moving inside the glass. It's almost hypnotizing, the way it spins in the crystal. Just before it falls out of the glass. To the counter. You swallow, holding your breath. Then it drops to the ground. The pink glass figure bursting the moment it hits the floor.

I’m an outsider to the miraculous fandom, generally because of anxiety stuff but I have this silly little Felix idea I think you would really like. (Or maybe I’m just dumb and this has been done before)

So I’m a bit obsessed with flower symbolism, right? My favorite being roses. For Felix, (and sentis in general) I think the two types of blue roses are perfect symbolism.

1.) Classic Royal Blue Rose

I’m not sure how common this fact is, but bright blue roses aren’t real. They’re artificial. White Roses dyed blue. Symbolically, They represent royalty, mystery and that which is unobtainable. Theres also some folk lore that they can grant wishes.

2.) Genetically Altered “Blue” Roses

So, in the early 2000’s (coincidentally around when Adrien and Felix would have been born?) Scientists wanted to find a way to make “naturally” occurring blue roses. Their attempts to create these roses was technically successful, but they aren’t actually blue. They are more of a pinky-purple-blue, it’s a fairly wide range, but almost all of the photos of them that I’ve seen are either the color of Argos’ eyes or his skin.

So basically I think both types of “blue” roses serve as a baller senti allegory…..

Specifically, Colt Fathom would be the “scientist” in search of creating the elusive royal blue rose. Something that doesn’t occur in nature, representing desire (yk peacock miraculous moment) and what is unobtainable. Yet, all he manages to make is the mauve-colored blue rose, Felix.

Or, Alternatively, Adrien could be the Royal blue rose to Felix’s genetically altered rose.

Adrien was molded for mass appeal by his father, meant to be widely adored by the people. Like the genetically altered rose, it is artificial, but it’s also considered to be beautiful, elegant and desired. People want the royal blue rose, just as Emilie and Gabe wanted him.

Meanwhile, the genetically altered blue rose is lowkey…, a little disappointing? It’s not what people were hoping for. It’s not what people envision when they think of blue roses, because dude it’s fricken purple. In a way, that could be how bitchass Mr Fathom saw his son. Unnatural, but without the charms of the dyed royal blue rose.

Or, double alternatively,

Adrien is already kinda associated with red roses anyway. He’s constantly giving them to LB, season 5 ends with him and Mari kissing in Emilie’s red rose garden.

Which would give Felix symbolism rights to both kind of blue roses.

Imagining a kiss scene to parallel adrinette kiss where it’s Felix and Kagami sharing a kiss in a garden of blue roses. Artificial but still beautiful

I can definitely see the symbolism working both ways! Felix being a more vibrant, but also harsher version of Adrien’s soft hues… The royal/religious symbolism associated with this shade of blue specifically… It works so well…

But I love Classic Royal Blue Adrien and genetically altered Felix even more, for all the reasons you listed. What is a monster, if not a deviation from the norm? I think I’ve written Kagami going heart eyes over Argos’ more “inhuman” features enough for everyone to know how beautiful she would find it… 💜

SPEAKING OF KAGAMI. I think we could go on a whole tangent about her association with red roses and passion — how she couldn’t find it in Adrien and Mari but eventually did in Felix. They SHOULD kiss in a rose garden and they SHOULD make it everyone’s problem! 🌹

oh, absolutely.

some time after the turbo incident, i personally headcanon that turbo sought out felix and attempted to explain himself to the nicelander. after all, he was injured, and turbo never wanted to live all by himself in the bowls of central station anyhow. felix was understandably horrified by turbo’s recent actions, claiming he wanted nothing to do with the racer, but he wouldn’t just let turbo die either [i imagine he had a pretty severe leg wound that wasn’t healing properly] so he automatically offered to fix turbo’s leg. [i still hc that turbo used a cane from then on due to code weirdness or something? still workshopping]

ANYHOW the point of all of this is to say that felix was going to turn turbo in to surge protector, insisting the racer needed mental help that felix was definitely not qualified to provide. turbo obviously couldn’t have that, so in a last ditch effort to save his skin, he dove into the code of fix it felix jr and hastily severed felix’s recent memories of turbo. the job ended up being sloppy and imperfect, but it accomplished what turbo was aiming for. felix no longer had any idea that turbo was still alive.

all of THAT is to say that when felix recognized turbo up on the big sugar rush cam, it was the first time that he had seen turbo since the RB incident [to his knowledge]. felix had long since mourned and moved on, having lots of time to process both the loss of his friend and his horrendous actions. seeing turbo again, only just as wretched as the last time felix saw him, was an ENORMOUS gut-punch. suddenly he was forced to grapple with the fact that his ex-partner had not only survived the arcade’s most unspeakable tragedy, but repeated the act, having taken over an unsuspecting game and lived there in hiding for years. all of that while ATTEMPTING TO MURDER A CHILD ON LIVE TELEVISION!

so yeah that’s why i think felix is 1000% disgusted by turbo BUT. i also like to entertain the idea of a reunion. realistically, i think felix would be terrified of cyng candy [get it? because cyng sounds like king and he’s a cy-bug? haha i’m so funny] and attempt to tell him off right before realizing he doesn’t stand a chance against the monster, at which point he would turn tail and run. candy could easily pin him down and hold him hostage, and it would be hard for him not to toy with felix like a cat might play with a terrified mouse.

but i think the dynamic would shift once candy figures out that felix isn’t just scared of being ripped to shreds, he’s scared of what turbo specifically has become. like, it starts to show in felix’s behaviors that he’s confused and desperate for answers, and the deal is sealed when he blurts “what happened to you?!” with a horrified expression.

i can see candy flippantly monologuing about his steady decline into power-hungry madness, answering in excruciating detail how he got to be the way he currently is.

okay so I got a weird au idea last night which also made me come to a realization that I love experimentation as an idea So Applesoft sells electronics okay? Very normal for the company, but that is more of a front to what goes on underneath all that wiring. Applesoft's semi legal chemical is a base to many substances. Pills, strange green goo, and the various highly illegal things that come from experimentation. So of course Applesoft has to use test subjects, that may or may not be willing and/or kidnapped. All a business needs to make a great profit. Felix has always been aware of this. Father has shown him some of the more illegal parts of the Applesoft brand, it has to happen, Felix will run the business eventually so he needs to apathetic to the stuff underneath. Felix gets to see this in full force, he gets to read up on all the procedures, but he never gets to do it hands on.

Felix comes up with an idea to get more hands on, as well as remove a certain problem for both him and his father. Felix's only requirement is that only he can deal with this test, unless it goes haywire and needs to be terminated. And that's how Teddy awakes in a glass container, unable to remember the last time he saw another person that wasn't his brother. The sun, school, a decent bed, all lost on him. Teddy has been mad for a long time, when he was first put in, when the first needle pricked his skin, since whenever these tests started.

He's not mad at Felix though, Felix has been good at telling lies(not that Teddy knows). So what Teddy believes is that it was Father's idea, father was planning on removing Teddy entirely, but Felix saved him, yeah Teddy can't see the sun or his friends anymore, but it's okay it's better than the alternative. Felix always says nice things to him, and when Teddy doesn't do anything wrong he gets his favorite tea and updates on his friends!

Felix is only nice because of what he read, sometimes the subjects get aggressive and try to break containment. Being nice to his brother is only to keep himself safe. As long as Teddy is happy, Felix gets to continue with his tests. Felix's lies extend more than blaming other people for Teddy's situation. Felix is good at lying to Teddy, if there is one thing Felix loves about his brother, it's how naive he is. Everyday Felix gets to say such sweet things such as

"I will let you out one day, once your final test is finished."

"Of course, I'll reverse whatever mutations you gain throughout this process."

"You're the first official test subject of Applesoft, be happy Teddy, you're going to better humanity and Applesoft!"

Teddy doesn't fully understand why he was picked, he was supposed to be one of the heirs to Applesoft. but Felix looks so happy when Teddy doesn't complain about what's going on, and he'll be let out one day, so he waits for that day, when Felix will be happy enough to let him out. I'll mention that Teddy's anger is still there, he has plans when he is allowed out, the first of which is ridding the world of his father, but he keeps that anger down, Felix doesn't let him nice things when he is angry, he wants to be angry.

Also, Teddy was drugged so his last real outside memory was Felix being strangely nice to him and then going to bed. AND Billy + slime trio can smell the chemicals on Felix and feel like there is something off about him. despite the fact that Felix does the standard decontamination procedure(to remove the chemical smell off of him. As well as to keep him from getting any strange mutations) it never really goes away, the mentioned 4 know from experience.

I’VE NEVER ACTUALLY THOUGHT ABOUT THE IMPLICATION THAT TURBO SPED ACROSS GAME CENTRAL STATION AND THEN THROUGH THE CORD TUNNEL WITH HIS CAR!!??

First off. INSANE visual

Perhaps it was similar to how Ralph’s hijacked spaceship flew everywhere in GCS except it’s Turbo in his racecar screaming OUT OF MY WAY!!!! And clouding up dust everywhere .. and then characters are like. Was that Turbo ?? Oh no…

But It would be SO COOL to see that event play out real-time in the game world instead. Cuz the flashback is Highly Condensed. Did it really all happen at once? Probably not, maybe over the course of a day or two ..? But I find it so interesting that the sequence is all from the perspective of the outside world… there’s just something about that that presentation that made him all the more mysterious and unnerving.

(It was also probably to prevent spoiling what his 3D model looks like but Yeah)

Also some more speculating ..

Do you think he was able to get out of that Terrible Fiasco he caused because running into the other racer corrupted them both into Glitches ? The Roadblasters guy was probably corrupted too badly.. but maybe Turbo somehow glitched out to escape and then tried to alter his code to repair himself- Maybe in some old debug menu where nobody would notice. Maybe THAT’S where he realized he could code himself into whatever he wanted.

FOR BEING A MAIN VILLAIN (twist villain to be fair. But Still .) THERE SURE IS A LOT OF MYSTERY AROUND HIM.. but maybe if we knew more he wouldn’t have been as mysterious and the twist wouldn’t have worked . BUT I NEED ANSWERS!!!!!!!!???
