Find the Wolf Ritual

Set Up:

This ritual is for those who resonate with the wolf on any personal level whatsoever. We will ask the wolf what we need to synthesize by using an animal oracle or tarot deck with a single wolf card. I recommend the Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Oracle Deck, but any will do.

Items Needed:

A set of divination cards that have a prominent wolf card

A clean, dedicated area to place the cards

Journal (optional)

Ritual:

Open the deck, but DO NOT SHUFFLE it. We are pulling the cards from their casing undisturbed and allowing the deck to remain however it originally was.

It is not necessary to have a specific question, but if there is something you cannot avoid thinking about in regard to the focus of this reading, do not resist it.

Flip the deck over and search for the wolf card, appreciate the art of the deck as you search. When you find the wolf card, remove the card above, the card below, and the wolf card as a set of three.

Keep your three cards face up. From your perspective, lay the bottom card to the left, the wolf card in the center, and the top card to the right. We have our reading placed.

The left card is the "thesis" card. This is the literal, real-world, present-moment understanding of your life or of the direction of it. It's the underlying idea behind a prominent aspect of your life.

The center card will obviously be the "wolf" card. Spend some time with this card, and remind yourself of the meaning of the wolf. Be sure not to skip this step; it is important to center yourself, even if you think you fully understand.

The right and final card is the "synthesis" card. This card serves as advice for fully integrating the matter at hand. The synthesis card deals with the inner world and how it aligns with what is. It shows us what we need to move forward in accordance with the way.

If you have your journal, write down your thoughts on the reading and what stood out about the cards you received. If your writing drifts away from the reading, allow it to. Write for as long, or as little, as you need to process the reading. Make a record of the cards if you want.

Note: If a tarot deck does not have a prominent wolf card but has a card with wolf imagery on it, use it. For example, the Rider-Waite tarot deck would use "The Moon" as its "wolf" card for this ritual.

Birthed from an experimental spell crafted by Urlac himself; Nenna is the sorcerer's only progeny. The war was ended and Urlac killed before she was able to be released from the Kingdom in Nowhere, and so she has been trapped there with Ogrel, watching over her father, ever since.

Nenna has potential to be as powerful a sorceress as her father was; with command of shadows and the ability to divintate theough time, distance, and into people's spirits with her cherished crystal ball.

Aloof, stubborn, and self-righteous Nenna shares many qualities with her father, though she lacks is general flare for theatrics and prefers the privacy of her libraries and labs.

She spends most of her days in the palace practicing and studying magic, or sitting by the altar that contains her fathers regenerating body. She avoids Ogrel as much as she can and the two rarely speak, she sees him as snivelling and weak, but does not herself have the resources to complete the spell to revive her father, and so she must put up with him.

While she lets Ogrel play with Geayu and Sheena at chasing down Helena, she secretly keeps eyes on the qyests progress from the darkness of her rooms, and interfers with her magic whenever she finds she is able...

In her observations she has found something stange however, Helena appears to have picked up a woman whose appearance strikes Nenna as oddly familiar.....

i know im the dumb bitch that's first thought to what fic i can write off a media is either a soulmate au or a daemon au BUT

I'm reading a harry potter fanfic (dont look at me like that 1) its a crossover and 2)fanfics can just as easily be a ceremony where we dance around a fire thats burning source material okay) and i mean

tbf i didnt CHECK but has anyone considered that a person's animagi form is just what their daemon would be? cuz the mc of this fic is about to realize that the weird-ass dog he's seen around campus is an animagus and i was like

you know, when ur writing a daemon au, one staple is that a trait for people with dog daemons is loyalty. so i thought it was kinda funny that someone who's a dog animagus was framed for disloyalty and all that

then i thought of a daemon au where there's like a whole faction of people STILL, twelve years later, debating whether sirius black was REALLY guilty. because he has a dog daemon, so there's no way he'd betray his BEST FRIENDS, who he was LOYAL to, right? ('in fact' some of that faction would mutter to each other 'that action far better befits the rat daemon whose death he was accused of' conspiracy theorists who?)

or a group thats adjacent to THEM who insist he was playing a long con from the beginning: he was planning to serve voldemort from the get-go, so he PRETENDED to have his daemon settle as a dog in order to have an in with the Order of the Phoenix, who would obviously trust someone with a dog daemon. his daemon isnt ACTUALLY a dog, the claim.

but one thing i hate about writing daemon aus is that u have to come up with a daemon for EVERYONE and then NAME them all, which i hate, so this is an open offer to anyone who actually wants to write it

I am not a Wiccan, they're horrid, are annoying and us witches are highly against them being in our space. Wicca a shitty version of "witchcraft" was made by a man in the 1950s. I am not a Hippie. Never will be. I am not all love and life and peace. I am not optimisitic. I do not follow hippie beliefs and it is not tied to my personal beliefs.

I'm a spiritual witch. I practice chaos magic amongst pyromancy, necromancy and divintion. I would be considered an "eclectic witch" since I practice many different things and am multiple different types of a witch in one. I follow many paths and many beliefs. I'm polytheistic. I do not believe in "killing them with kindess" like Wiccans do.

You can be spiritual or a spiritualist and still be a raging bitch like I inherently am. Witches do not conform to fit in, or to please people.

Workshop:Paper Doll Dreams

Week 6[21-10-24 -> 25-10-24]

I attended the Paper doll dreams workshop, a workshop focused around turning our primary sources into clothing, working with paper on a model.

For my primary source, I used a leftover sprue from a Warhammer: Adepta Sororitas kit I had assembled, pictured below:

I photocopied the sprue, picked out the shapes I found most compelling, and then blew those up a couple times with the printer

And then I stuck those to the form, as how above, and worked with the paper to see where it wanted to go, how it wanted to stick to the form, how it wanted to shape and bend, what I needed to adjust.

Warhammer was the first thing I thought of when the theme "Assemble" was brought up, and why I ended up going in the toy direction in the first place, so it was good to use it so directly in a project. The Adepta Soraratis are a faction of devoted warrior nuns, and so I think they're quite fitting for the more "the divintity of self creation" angle I've ended up playing with.
