I need y'all to understand how *special* of a special edition this is. It is the only one that exists. I painted the edges by hand, and the art of Devin & Noah on the ribbon bookmark was commissioned from the original cover artist by me, meaning *I* am the only person who has the rights to use it. it annoys me when people all categorize palestinians as purely arabs. armenian palestinians have contributed greatly to our visual culture and that deserves to be recognized. just wanted to point out that not all palestinians are arabs, though a majority are. but that might be going too deep into the woodworks of semantics for this point in time. maybe we will find a word that better encompasses the diversity of palestinians — wait. that's it. palestinians is diverse enough, isn't it?

i think the bandaged scoundrel figured out their gender at the same time as their post-cricket breakdown spiral into whatever state of toeing-the-line-madness they're currently perpetually having at all times. but like. it was entirely incidental to the matter at hand. like she was busy going nuts infusing himself with violant like a mad scientist and also just coincidentally discovered genderfluidity existed. just completely as a footnote to the other thing. nothing really prompted it they just realized it was an option and went oh shit fr??? and then grabbed every single gender identity off the shelf and took off running with it

Wholeheartedly, wildest group I've ever had. Tears of laughter. A son of portuguese immigrants in France and his brazilian wife who spoke zero english and yet bought the entire table extra chorizos and wine. A very nice couple from Wisconsin who asked me so much about growing up here and whose husband had heart problems but not enough to convince the Portuguese to not offer him more wine! A chinese couple fascinated to learn about the chinese community in portugal. An italian lady who spoke french and her cuban husband both living in geneva who I spoke with at least two different languages. "Los portugueses en geneva solo beben super bock y usan camisetas de Porto". And finally the two irish lads who challenged me on my very assured statement that I can pronounce any irish name correctly only for me to fuck it up with the simplest name imaginable, but nonetheless gave me 20 irish pounds and several hugs for me next trip to Ireland. Amazing people. Will NEVER forget this one
