Summary: One player sits, kicking his legs back and forth, wearily watching from the corner of his eye as the other is leaning precariously over the edge. The other’s hands are simply resting on the edge, not holding on tightly like one normally would when facing a drop of death. Even if they can’t die right now, the player finds that the anxiety is still present. They are both aware their time is running out.

Gotta say, the hermits' musical sides have really fostered this Hermits & Friends! Band AU I have in my head.

Gem & The Scotts are already a rock band (say they get invited to join the HermitBand™ collective or smt)

guys its super late for me but ermmm heres my magnum opus... disstrack duo (? what the fuck do we call them) playlist with over two hundred songs. mostly based off empires season 2 but some allusions to empires season 1 and limited life (because esmp2 and limlife coincided on the time line. which i am absolutely normal about btw)

yeah its only four weeks old and this is now my music taste. feel free to recommend songs for the playlist or to ask for some song context on this post (not in my inbox its broken and flooding me with ghost notifs)!!! BTW this is technically a character playlist for both of these guys so just put your lovely noggins to work and you should be able to figure it out. some are just vibes, some are based off one lyric, some are their relationship (:flushed:) and some are basically just one or the other incarnate in a song. i love this playlist so muchhh <3
