And yes, there are already lots of boat boys playlists in the sea, but...hear me out, okay geeze(/s) okay so I've kinda set it up in like a musical style? I know that sounds dumb, but what I mean is that if you listen to it unshuffled, it's supposedly gonna be like in the order of when events happened, kinda like retelling them...? This is still a work in progress, as yknow I'll be adding more songs and there's a couple of songs I'm unsure of the placement rn. But don't worry, I can tell you reallyyyyyyy wanna know what songs are supposed to be in what series😼 (this obviously isn't a mandatory thing like i cant control your brain so like listen to the songs how you want to, i'm just a loser who's obsessed with making playlists...)

some tidbits

- i have been thinking of making something like this for weeks now. Joel mentioned anime intro and i had to lock in

- many songs were put into consideration prior to editing this! Openings from Horimiya, Kimi no Todoke, Your Lie in April, Ouran High School Host Club, Skip and Loafer, Dungeon Meshi (OP2) Bocchi the Rock and Saiki K were in the discussion room (my brain)

- Song choices are like that because of the anime intro Joel first made, I thought of hermitcraft as a slice of life comedic anime so I naturally looked for those type of songs. I even considered Yura Yura by Zerobaseone and that song isn’t even an anime opening.

- I actually did mot edit this in my usual program! Instead of working on my PC I worked on this with my phone on CapCut. It is currently 3am I really could not be bothered to get up and edit on my PC.

- I screenrecorded all of these clips, solely because I didn’t want to download all 31 episodes

The sketch is still very messy, and smallishbeans Joel's face is terrifying rn but I'm happy with it! (BTW, lazybeans26 has a camera head cause I believe that account was used to record time-lapses and stuff, but I could be wrong lol) I don't know if I'm gonna add anyone else, the only other versions of joel as I can't really think of any other versions of him to add maybe ethofan girl joel?? Do you know how fun a martyn, Jimmy, oli, and joel team up would be? Or a Ren and oli duo or s scar and oli duo or or a gem and oli duo EVEN a grian and oli duo would be so cool to see this needs to happen, trust me. Yes, maybe we would get his episodes 5 months after the series ends, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to take. Please, life series gods🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Ok ok so guys hear me out here

A god mounders au,before you think "arent 3/4 of them already gods in empires??" That's exactly where that idea came from! The idea of what takes place in this au comes from the song 'start a war' by klergy and valerie

Ok so basically right all 4 of them make up the earth in some sort of way, weather,earth,night and day. (There are ofc other gods that take up the other roles like lizzie,aeor and exor for example.)

Anyway All the gods are desperate for the attention and praise from the humans, they basically depend on it. So much so that bdubs, God of the day/sun decides to write a fake letter/scroll to pearl (god of the night/moon) posing as joel (god of the weather) basically declaring war/insulting her "the pen is mightier than the sword."

Anyway pearl is furious at this and forces her champion (sausage) to prepare for battle. "So you wanna be immortal? With a loaded gun?" Joel unsure about why this is happening blames anyone he can like the non believers such as jimmy (gotta keep the joel v jimmy) "blame the deniers" although his champion (pixlriffs) criticises history for it, as a war between gods is a tale as old as time. Joel denies this as admitting to that would mean accepting part of the blame. "If history is dead and gone, then how did we get here, my god?"

Anyway right big battle happens between these 2 while this is going on though bdubs gets all the worship as the people are currently too scared of the other 2 gods, once joel and pearl find out about this they decide to team up to destroy bdubs. Which is basically a told you so from his champion(gem) "pain is what you desire"

In the end mumbo (god of earth/nature) tries his best to calm the 3 down and bring peace among them back. Despite the fact that his champion(grian) absolutely loved the chaos. This part doesn't go with any of the song I just wanted to include my boy mumbo😔🤚 unless you count the last 36 seconds of the song, being from mumbo and mumbo and grians pov

Random bonus:

Lizzies champion would most likely be oli based on the fact of in empires musical at the start he kept chiming in to ask her questions :)

This au is pretty dumb and came up in my head whilst listening to this song but like I had fun with it lol😭

do katherinr elizabeth is the lady of the overgrown and chosen by the spring (the life source of the whole empire), i believe the overgrown is the empire itself and house blossom is the name of the ruling faction i.e her. shes a nice little fairy queen thay makes her allies fall to her death to get them low on health so she can stab them easily to get their head, this is the only way they can fully pledge their allegiance to katherine and also she just likes collecting heads thats how katherine elizabeth is
