next person i see saying d*rby deserves to be world champ is getting attacked Like putting everything else aside & solely commenting on the quality of his work i don't think he's a terrible wrestler but his most memorable moments almost entirely consist of doing dangerous spots for attention. i do not think he's a good promo and even if he was i think he's still far too green to be carrying the company as the world champ. there's a certain level of expectation & responsibility that comes with being world champion and being on top of that mountain and i really don't see d*rby as someone who fits that role. like i will never say never in wrestling but at least at this point in his career i do not see him as world champ material and i think he needs to go through a lot of development before he is there

I don't know what's more crazy. Bryan Danielson getting a concussion at the end of his and Nigel's best 2 out of 3 falls match, and then Nigel staying an extra 10 mins being the main guy helping Bryan recover in the middle of the ring, staying by his side because I guess there's just no medics around and Nigel is the other guy besides Bryan who knows best how to deal with concussions through experience.

Or the whole ending scenario being pre-planned to play off their previous match in Liverpool which was head trauma galore, so Bryan never had a concussion to begin with, but rather it was Nigel who accidentally got knocked on the head and ended up having to fake take care of Bryan's worked concussion while powering through the effects of a real one to stick with the plot.

not to tread on really gossipy dirt sheet stuff but the reason why nia jax's matches always got low ratings is partly not just because of her lack of in-ring skills and bad safety record, its because she once yelled at the wrestling reviewer guy for speculating that roman's (one of her relatives btw) cancer was mild. like, she told him to shut the fuck up for spreading misinformation, and even if the info is true, the reporter was doing a hipaa violation for leaking details of roman's medical issues. like, she might be improving now and might even get better later on, but she'll forever get that smear on her name because the number one reviewer in wrestling is a nosy piece of shit who leaked the cause of death of that joshi chick who died of suicide. also nia's break was mental health related which she requested first, not because she refused vaccination. she is still an antivaxx tho. this is a case of everyone being an asshole but. i legit believed half of the nastiness of the wrestling fandom came from that reporter and the people who trust his opinions willy nilly.
