I wonder sometimes About that Superlative Entity We like to imagine—to nest in

I wonder if Its spirit resides In the space lying between Knowing better & Doing better

For those who are in tune with It There is no hiatus self-imposed To try a new strategy, a new project To improve one's self & situation One flows along the Great Experiment Directly from awareness to action

For those who are not in tune The width of the River is oceanic The doubt & questions endless "How big a setback if I fail?" "Who would I be if I succeed?" "What if I am wrong to?"

So the shore of knowing Feels surer and safer Than the waters chopped By fearful hot air
